Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Great Resort

This is our second time there and we plan on coming again , food is okay but the wildlife and the kindness of the staff makes it really great , we love this place and never regret going. Wildlife alone is amazing!

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Great place. Great staff. No Vibe

Hi. My wife and 2 teens went to the resort miss August. The season left us without a beach, as there so much sea weed washed up on sore. Smelled really bad. But that is Mother Nature. Not the resort. The food was good (not great but good) staff tested you well and always willing to help. Very nice rooms. We did the diamond club. Which gave you a few perks. I don’t think I used any of them. My only real complaint was the lack of music in every single pool area. Which made for a blend of diffe [... read more]rent music the guest wanted to hear from their own speakers. There were Bose speakers all over the resort. But they opted not to play anything. Unless there was game or something. Music is a real part of the vibe. Plus it muffles the sound of everything else going on. For that reason alone. I do not think I will return.

Occidental at Xcaret Destination: Beautiful Resort

The rooms are nice, the resort itself is wonderful, very beautiful and the staff were amazing. Hotel is cut into the jungle and the beach portion was very nice. Pools were excellent and never trouble getting chairs. If you are a true beach person this is not the resort for you but the beach part they have is nice and plenty of fish to see snorkeling.

Allegro Playacar: Quaint smaller resort

Hotel grounds are immaculate, very lush and well maintained. Rooms are clean, and our request were taken care of. No problem food wise...if I had any downside opinions, it would be...no after hours snack bar & coffee service.

We loved the resort. The food is incredible. The service is outstanding. The public areas and rooms are very clean. Honestly we have nothing negative to say about the resort. It is perfect. It feels like the resort was dropped in a jungle, we love that there is a lot of exotic animals and a lot of palm trees. The only thing is to lookout for the seaweed season, as it can be quite deceiving for people wanting beach days. But that is mother nature and it is not VIM's fault. Ocean Maya Royale: Ok resort

The resort itself is nice well maintained clean rooms were ok the food was awful 7 days one good meal they don’t have a breakfast buffet by the pool only up at the front buffet no entertainment at the quiet pool only the swim up pool we’re all the 20 year olds are sea weed really bad could not go on the beach at all the smell was terrible

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Good Value

Have stayed at this resort in Dec 2019. Liked it very much and so decided to go there again. On the previous occasion, guests were able to enjoy lunch at their sister resorts nearby and Alcoholic drinks at the Bars but that has been discontinued. Some premium alcoholic drinks which were part of the All Inclusive package are now being charged extra. The resort was full at the time and there were guests of all ages ranging from Infants to Seniors, some even in wheelchairs.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Great resort

Everything was amazing. It was clean, people were friendly. Great entertainment and nice pools. Food was alright. The only thing is a lot of seaweed on the beach which sucked. Otherwise great resort for everyone! Family friendly!

We left on the 20 July for 10 days We opted for a swim out reserve Which was amazing especially when you want to relax and not be in a crowd or to lazy to go out the room wich was very clean but a bit damp a lot of humidity very good service as well for the food It was lacking the breakfast buffet and lunch was good a lot of choice on the reserve side but we had to reserve for restaurant witch was limited so we didn’t Like that because we paid prime dollars to have accès to other r [... read more]estaurants witch were not included in a normal package because They have the reserve for adults only That’s what we had we always travel and book on a resort for adults only we see the difference when a hotel cater for family and adults not the same standards and we book for 10 days so if I would recommend it yes but if you usually go for adults only They are a lot of good choice to choose From so I would give it 7.5 for food A 10 on cleanest a 9 on service Hope it will help you to choice the perfect place for your vacation

El Dorado Seaside Suites: Great Food! Beautiful view - swim out not ideal.

Great food and service within the restaurants/bar. Super friendly staff. We had some trouble with our hot water for 4 days before it was finally fixed. It was frustrating having to spend time trying to get someone to fix it each day but they were always so nice - it’s hard to complain. The ocean view Swim outs are beautiful BUT (floors 2 and up) don’t get much sun so we never ended up using it during the day…Which for me defeats the purpose. Beach was nice on Palms side and they worked so hard to keep it clear of seaweed. Lots of sunshine spots there. We enjoyed the live music, “quiet” party night, karaoke, beach volleyball. The seaside suites pool was VERY loud in afternoon if you like party atmosphere. Overall a great trip with the gals - I just wouldn’t book Seaside Suites for the swim out. Palm side seemed to have some nice swim outs but some were also super shady. The rooms were clean - I gave rooms 4- star because of the water issue - sounded like a common problem for our particular corner room. If you enjoy pools and a swim out for the sun/convenience - I wouldn’t go to Seaside Suite side. Bar was restocked and great room service.

Secrets Akumal Riviera Maya: Amazing Resort

The resort was spectacular with amazingly friendly staff. The amenities were numerous and the food at the various restaurants was delicious. The entertainment provided at the resort is top notch! Just off the beach of the resort is a reef with coral and various sea life. The resort is 10 min walk from the local town that has some great restaurants.

The staff were very friendly and professional, especially Carlos & Israel from the pool bar. The food at the buffet and specialty restaurants was excellent. The resort was in good condition was well maintained. Will not be our last visit!

We had a good time at this resort, the food was good and the rooms were clean. The only negative thing I can say is on the last day we were there someone somehow spoke the wife’s and my drinks and we ended up having a very rough night. Will not go into detail but we doth fell that what happened should have been handled a lot better then what it was. Will never visit this place again because of it

Secrets Akumal Riviera Maya: Beautiful Resort

Secrets Akumal is one of the best all-inclusives I’ve stayed at. The design and grounds are beautiful. It has a very natural Mexican feel to it. The food and drinks are excellent quality and there is a lot of choice. The service is outstanding and I always felt well taken care of. The only negatives are the seaweed on the beach and the pressure to upgrade. The seaweed is managed as best they can, but be aware of it. Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: The resort was amazing!!

Love this resort!! My family and I stayed at this resort on the week of my birthday and they put a birthday banner on the door and gave us a bottle of champagne. I loved that and thought it was so nice!! The only thing I wish someone told me about was the 2 a la carte dinner reservations. I didn’t know we had to book those right away. Paradisus La Perla Adults Only Riviera Maya: Waste of my money!!

Honestly I went in with high hopes and came back highly disappointed. Keep in mind I’m in my late twenties so I was expecting more people in my age group and it felt like a retirement home. Food is a 5/10. One buffet for lunch and breakfast. Dinner has more options but everything closes at 11 and one “bar/club” that closed that 1 am. No nightlife or entertainment really at the resort. Barcelo Maya Colonial: Good stay beautiful resort

We have been to this hotel a few times before. It’s an absolutely large and beautiful resort . The grounds are clean,so lush and tropical .. pools are huge and amazing.. beach is huge rocky in places but if you find the right area sandy and beautiful The bad: This resort for July was over capacity I would say.. very crowded with large families and wedding groups. This is usually a slower time for them but because of COVID everyone is travelling . The grounds were very clean keeping in mind it is a eco resort the animals were an enjoyable site to see every day as we ventured out each day.. The room was a nice size. And cleaned daily. The restaurants were very good and the buffet had lots to choose from the pools were a nice size and enjoyed by all and never had a problem getting a chair by pool or beach . The staff are friendly and willing to help in any way

Grand Sunset Princess: My 16th Birthday trip

If your looking to get your steps in you have come to the right place. The hotel is huge. Which means when booking resturants on the hotel app give yourself time to get there. We recommend booking the room with the pool if you love to swim. The the food was pretty good and consistent with delivery and choices. Always make sure you lock your balcony door because the monkeys come looking for coffee and chocolate. But overall the experience was great. If you love massages check out Spa Del Mar and ask for Lili she made me knew again😁 The only negative feed back I have, if you like cabanas there is alot. But the downside is certain people feel entitled to keep them for themselves for their entire stay. They get up about 5am and secure a spot for the entire day, giving no one else a chance to use one.
