Melia Marina Varadero: Great place
The hotel was perfect. It was always clean. The personal were very polite, profesional and friendly. I enjoyed the shows beach and swimming pool and music. I will highly recommend this hotel to friends.
Melia Jardines del Rey: Good place to visit
Second time visit within few years, resort represent good value for money spend. Amazing beach, awesome service, clean room and well kept grounds. Good but repetitive food, however at least 3-4 different types of fresh seafood every day and variety of fruits. Recommend.
Melia Cayo Coco: Trip #20 and still awesome!
Hotel is always looking to make improvements, maintenance staff are available and work hard to rectify any issues. Wait staff are amazing, friendly and alway happy to see you. Housekeeping do a spotless job. We met the new general manager, he introduced himself to us and appreciated our loyalty. We travelled early the fall so the resort was not full, finding sunbeds was not an issue.
Sol Varadero Beach: Not that good!
Rooms need renovate, to much cuban peoples!!......... .... ....... ......... ........ . ........ .. ... ...... ...... .... ..... ........ .... .......... ......... .. .... ......... ......... ...... ...... ...
Melia Cayo Coco: Relaxing Resort
Well maintained, needs some updating, on pool deck, grounds keepers good ! Needs beach bar& grill with some music. Maybe one night a week beach fire / party!!! Doors on ground level rooms needs sweep, has big gap. Too many bugs coming in rooms. I saw plenty ants& large bugs, Decko got in another room I’m told..
Melia Las Antillas: Beautiful beach
Beautiful beach, safe and sound. Always wanted to try Cuban food as usually people complain. It was good, different cuisine of course (thats why people travel the world) but good. There was always grilled seafood, pizza, pasta in case you don't like Cuban food. Mediterranean restaurant was great. The bathroom was a little surprising after being in mexico. The buidling was kind of old but clean, GREAT GREAT GREAT entertainment team! Amazing dancers and performers! Never seen better shows than thi [... read more]
Paradisus Rio De Oro: I enjoyed it
Overall experience was very good. Room was spacious and nicely done and clean. The food was good. The main thing I like in the buffet restaurant was the grill for lunch and dinner when you could select from the variety of fresh fish and meat which ones you'd like to be grilled for you. Best was on Wednesday because they had lobster as well. The rest of food selection was repetitive but good quality. For breakfast there was an omelette station. A la cart restaurant didn't leave any impression [... read more]
Melia Buenavista: Nice place!
Great resort with white sand beaches and reefs close by for snorkeling on calm days. Watching sunsets to the tune of live music and sipping a sparkling wine is a nice idea. Live music for an evening entertainment provides a perfect end to a relaxing day. Good service at the pool and beaches. Some activities are offered for the ones interested. Resort is fairly small and well kept. Restaurants/bars provide adequate selection of tasty food and good selection of alcoholic drinks. Rooms are cleaned [... read more]
Melia Buenavista: Great vacation
Wonderful relaxing place. Three different beaches. The main one could be very wavy on some days, but was the best place to see beautiful sunrises, the middle one was calmer, while at the west beach there were hardly any wrinkles on the water. Sunset ceremony at the west beach was beautiful every day. Food was good, fresh fruits were available at breakfast and lunch - pineapple, grapefruit, papaya, guava, watermelon, cantaloupe, apples, star fruits. Room was huge, cleaned twice daily, outdoor sho [... read more]
Sol Palmeras: Good value
The rooms where clean and the grounds were well looked after. Not enough of a variety when it comes to the food. There was no food from 3.30pm-6.00pm. The alcoholic drinks are watered down. We were on a budget and for the money that wr spent,I felt we got good value. The entertainment at night wad excellent .
Melia Marina Varadero: Amazing Beaches
Where do I begin?? Flight was fine and on time and transportation to and from the hotel was great! The staff at the hotel were gracious and kind. The hotel looks good however there were some serious deficiencies The food at the buffet was always cold, never hot even when we were first in line for any given meal. The mystery meat was limited and always cold. Be clear...we did not go hungry however this hotel is rated as a 5 for Cuba so we expected more than what we have been accustomed to in t [... read more]
Sol Rio de Luna y Mares: Welcome to nightmare or Cuban "service" at work
Resort side Luna was out of the water for 2 full days and 3 nights (Oct 24-26). Mares side was OK. Resort management did not apology, did not offer to change the room not even bother to clean rooms on the Luna side. People used toilets in the morning and then find out that was no water to flash. Whole day we spend on the beach as room had no a/c or water. Reception said “no rooms available†and advise to wait as they are “working on the issueâ€. We stay on the beach from 7am till 7pm. Too [... read more]
Melia Las Americas: great vacation spot
we loved the beach and the pool areas The bungalow rooms were very modern clean and spacious Food was hit and miss Our favorite was limoncello on the beach. the resort is gorgeous and has a comfortable layout one you get your bearings. Next time we will book the elite Level They offer private breakfast, premium liqueurs and nice perks. such as not having to line up to make restuarant reservations
Melia Habana: A SAD SITUATION WHERE A TRAVEL REPRESENTATIVE DID NOT FOLLOW THROUGH
On September 17 of this year I booked and paid for our trip to Cuba, $2,990.00 to SUNWING VACATIONS. The agent was Shaukath Fattah. He explained about refunds if there were unforeseen problems, and I signified my interest in the $50 per ticket total refund, but, I told him I had to move $100 into the bank account that paid for the tickets and that that would take a day. I asked that he call me the next day and confirm. He did not call. As the business day was closing I called his number and [... read more]
Melia Varadero: Beautiful Resort, Great Staff
We had an amazing stay at the Melia Varadero in Cuba. From the moment you walk through the doors till the moment you leave, the staff welcome you with open arms like family and ensure you have an amazing stay. The hotel is clean, food is good with many options, and there is always something to do. Can't thank the Melia staff for giving my wife and I an amazing 12 yr anniversary.
Sol Palmeras: Amazing beach
My second time here. The beaches are beautiful. First time there room was great. It was renovated. When I arrived this time they did not have my information, and put me in a 1 star room not renovated. Very disappointing. Had to get room change twice. Very upsetting first 24 hours, but once settled the rest of the vacation went very well. Pools could be better with hand rails on all pools that extend to the pools edge for senior and mobility issued guests.
Hotel Vigia: A Must See!
So grateful to our travell agent and to the wonderful staff at sol Cayo Guillermo. Everyone was SO welcoming and friendly! Our first time in Cuba and had the Best family vacation! The resort & rooms were comfortable & clean, the food was really good and the sand & ocean was beautiful! We miss it already! Thank you Cuba for giving us the best memories! Thank you Candice,(travel agent) for making this all possible 🇨🇺
Melia Las Antillas: Great Resort but reception and pool were under construction
We really enjoyed our stay however we were disappointed that the large pool was closed. It was under reconstruction and there was dirt everywhere. I knew the reception area was under construction but there were no reviews that I saw that warned us about the pool. Varadero beach is beautiful buffet food was okay but we really enjoyed the a la carte restaurants.
Sol Cayo Santa Maria: Fantastic Experience !
We had an amazing vacation at this resort. The white sandy beaches and beautiful ocean views. Staff are super friendly, knew us by name. Took the time to say goodbye at 6am to us when we left. Loved it!
Melia Cayo Coco: Nice well kept Adults resort
Good Adults only resort.Well kept and organized and friendly staff including Gardners. Food is OK and rooms good and properly attended. Few suggestions: Snack bar can be more efficient & serving more SNACKS ONLY with soft drinks Need better access to Pool bar, straight path OR "AQUA POOL BAR" in POOL Books collection can be consolidated and visible to guests for reading. Cancel lunch option and enhance Dinner hours say 6 PM to 10 PM Add [... read more]
