Bahia Principe Explore Legend: It looked promising!

Hotel grounds: Beautiful! Well kept, clean! However, EVERYTHING is digital. You need a phone for everything! Menus in restaurants are available only by QR code!!!! Wifi is spotty at best. Hotel team shrugs when it isn’t working. Food: meh, not great. Buffet was ok, extremely noisy - I think it’s just the acoustics. Disruptively loud. A la carte Restaurants are terrible. Service is very slow or non existent. Service: Hit and miss. Beach: Crowded and small! Sooooo many vendo [... read more]rs trying to sell stuff. Hard to relax. The minute you sit down, someone is approaching. Tour operators: Literally, they disappear!! Hotel has no information to help. Good luck getting any info! Overall, the whole vibe of the DR has changed. Just seems like one big hustling cash grab now. Such a shame.

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Great trip !

The Grand Palladium was pretty much everything we could ask for. Beautiful beaches, beautiful people and beautiful facilities. Very good food especially the a la cartes. Many excursions were also offered.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Amazing and very clean resort ..

Very, very clean in all areas . Food at the main buffet was excellent . Hotel rooms were a little dated , but very well kept and clean . The grounds were very well kept , as were the pathways . The transit system was amazing from main lobby to beach area . Would like to say that the Transat person on site was extremely unhelpful .

Occidental Punta Cana: Great home away from home

Clean and spacious rooms. Wifi free for all. Food was good, and plenty of it. Wish they had bacon. The specialty dinners could use a little help and better organizing. Beautiful, clean beaches. Overall, great home away from home. Will definitely be back.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Bahia Principe Grand in Punta Cana

Grounds were exceptional, customer service on the other hand not so much. No internet service in our room and very sporadic around the pool or in the main lobby. Also the phone in our room did not work during our stay even though numerous complaints at the main lobby.

Occidental Punta Cana: Beautiful beach!

The beach was beautiful and you could walk for at least an hour in either direction. The grounds at Occidental were immaculate, the pools clean but very shallow, the beach chairs comfortable, the rooms comfy & clean, the wifi consistently good around the property, the buffet food tasty (if a little repetitive), the variety of a la carte restaurants was good with food that was a notch better than the buffets. Not as many day-time bars as other properties I've been to, so there were always line- [... read more]ups/waits to get drinks. Thankfully, the loud evening entertainment didn't go too late!

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Great Resort!

This was our 5th time at the Ambar and it did not disappoint. We had an amazing time! The grounds are beautiful. The renovated rooms are refreshing and very clean. The food and drinks were great. All the a la cartes were delicious! All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Most days the beach was clear of sargassum, and on the days it wasn’t, they worked tirelessly to keep it clean. Ww will definitely return and recommend.

Riu Palace Macao: Wonderful

Everything was great Rooms are a bit outdated Our internet on our tv stopped working halfway into our stay and nobody could fix it Although they gave it a good try Otherwise happy with everything I was really disappointed with Sunwing Airline Having to transfer to another terminal was a pain

Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: Great Resort

The rooms were very nice, lovely beach and big beautiful pool. Food was typical of the Dominican, not the best but okay. Unfortunately we both ended with Covid. Weather was outstanding, definitely clean and well kept. first time we have ever had Butler service, it was a nice perk.

Iberostar Selection Bavaro Suites: Great time with lots of sun and sand

Hotel was great, clean and excellent location and beach. Room service was slow, food at restaurants was average. Buffet and pool side food options were great. Language was an issue for English speakers but overall the experience was great and we had an amazing time

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Amazing Resort

There is absolutley nothing bad i can say about this resort. We had a GREAT trip, The people, resort, food, room were excellent. Food was over the top delicious, Rooms were big and clean, The people were so friendly and easy to understand...I espcecially liked our concierges Edward, he was excellent. Highly recomment this resort and i will definately be back.

Punta Cana Princess: amazing resort

bedroom.is quite clean and all services are very good. I like the spa. food are okay. the beach have too many sea grass （maybe due to the season). pool is good. I would like to recommend my friends to this resort.

TRS Cap Cana Hotel: Stay away!

Hotel was hit hard by the hurricane and is under construction! Only one restaurant open and the sounds of jack hammers all day! They pump up the music to try and drown it out! But…. The staff is trying hard under these circumstances.

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Beautiful Resort

The Bahia Principe Aquamarine was a beautiful resort. It was very clean. The staff were lovely and the entertainment staff were fantastic and lots of fun. They interacted with the guests and made them feel very welcomed. I would definitely come back.

Excellence Punta Cana: Excellence is an understatement!

The resort was fantastic. Entertainment every day, restaurants and food were great and the staff friendly and courteous. Resort was kept clean and pristine. The only negative were the rip tides but the resort can’t control the ocean!

Rooms were very dirty, also sour smelling and musty. Room changed 3 times. Poor quality of food on buffet,exact same thing for 2weeks. The bug issue is a very big problem outside and in rooms. My mother needed to be seen by the dr for bites as our benadryl and hydrocortisone cream did not work. Lots of guests covered in bug bites. Cockroaches in room. Occidental Punta Cana: Gorgeous place to stay

The grounds were extremely well maintained. A very lovely place to spend vacation. The food offerings were a bit limited but were decent overall. We did not enjoy the restaurants as much as we enjoyed the buffet. Breakfast was extremely popular and very tasty!

El Beso Adults Only at Ocean El Faro: Resort review

This resort is very beautiful and the grounds are kept in an immaculate manner. We were in the adults only section, the pool area was great no kids however the buffet area which is supposed to be adults only section had a lot of kids running around despite signs saying adults only. I think the staff should have intervene and remind parents about this. I would also say that 60 percent of the staff were not friendly and service was slow in the buffet area for breakfast and lunch. He would offer lots of other people in the pool area drinks but ignore us, avoided eye contact with us. We even tipped him quite a bit to see if the service would be better but it wasn't. We ended up getting our own drinks. The nightly shows were too late, starting at 9:30 and were not very good. They cancelled the beach party claiming it was going to rain. There was no rain in the forecast. They could have changed it to another day. The beach is beautiful but lots of seaweed that is not cleaned up.
