Las Palmas by the Sea: Amazing resort

The hotel was very nice and comfortable. Room was facing the ocean. Could hear the waves break all night. Just wonderful experience!! Close to Downtown, Nightly entertainment was great! Restaurant food was great and the Hotel Staff were superb!

Fiesta Americana Riviera Nayarit: first dream

This was my first time to a Dreams Resort. It was ok but not what I would call 5 star. I've stayed at Sandals and that was much better. The noise level at the resort was way to loud late at night. We asked to have our room changed further away from the night club and were accommodated. With a room change the noise was better, but not quiet. The resort has a quiet time policy that was not adhered to nor enforced during our stay. The staff were very friendly and the food was good, and the Italian  [... read more]restaurant was excellent. Grounds were clean and tidy however our rooms were in need of repair/maintenance. The first one had a water leak. Not as clean as I would expect from a high end Resort. All said I had a good time and am happy with what we got for the price. If it wasn't for the noise, I would say I'd definitely go back. Right now it's a maybe.

Riu Flamingos: Excellent Resort!

I really think this hotel served out purpose top to bottom. Well organized and a good place to stay with the family. This being my first time in Mexico gave us great joy to want to come again and spend such quality in Mexico with the same hotel and flight arrangement. We enjoyed from the hotel rooms to the food, to drinks to environment and pleasant service from everybody involved. Highly recommended!

Villa Premiere Boutique Hotel and Romantic Getaway: Villa Premiere

This is an excellent hotel close to downtown Puerto Vallarta. It is a small hotel, so you often get to know the other customers. The staff are great and seem to be well trained in customer service. I love the swim-up bar.

Hacienda Buenaventura Hotel and Mexican Charm: Great location

Friendly employees. Spacious room. Mangos hanging on your balcony. Quiet, clean. Good location right beside ferry terminal. Guests are friendly too. Close to airport too. Inside room there is safe, which is great.

Sunscape Puerto Vallarta: Great Staff

The Hotel Management was Horrible, they catered to all the seniors that were there for the month or longer and didn't give the same treatment to the all inclusive guests.It is really said as we have been going there for the last 6 years. Guestavo and Enrigue are still the best, since the new management most of the great staff are gone.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: welcoming, comfortable, fun resort

We love the Royal Decameron. The grounds are beautifully groomed. The beach is fabulous - you can walk for miles and miles and play in the waves. The resort staff are beyond friendly and helpful. The restaurants are clean with great service and good food with lots of choices. The entertainment is like none other that we have seen in our travels in Mexico. 2nd to none, it feels as though you are at broadway anytime they put on a show. We also love that we can walk out of the resort into the cobbl [... read more]estone streets of Bucerias. The local bus route is a short walk up the hill and can take you into Puerto Vallarta. We have been there two times and are planning on more!! The hotel itself is older and doesn't offer fridges in the room and the safety boxes are an additional charge. The first time we went we were not 100% satisfied with the location of the room and RDC staff was very willing to change it for us.

Melia Puerto Vallarta: Awesome vacation spot!!

We stayed at the Melia resort in puerto Vallarta and it was outstanding. Great family resort with lots of activities for the little ones. It's also not a far cab ride to the centre of town where all the action is. The staff were wonderful and there was no shortage of food throughout the day. We would gladly go back!!

Hacienda Buenaventura Hotel and Mexican Charm: Holiday Nightmare

At first when you get there, you think "nice Authentic Mexico resort". That is quickly shattered when you see the rest of the place. The room was adequate, but the resort grounds were very small. The pool was extremely small and had broken tile and one of the other guests warned us that people were getting their feet cut and needing stitches. My husband was unable to handle the smell of the food and he is not fussy in the least, so this was a shock to me. The so called beach was quite a walk from the resort through some back alleys and past some sketchy buildings where the locals were hanging out. It did not feel safe at all. The "beach club" was supposed to have a snack bar for tourists to get snacks and drinks. It looked like that building had not been used in decades. There was no one working there and no food or drinks to be had. The only positive thing I can say is that Nolitours was very accommodating in helping us find another resort in a hurry the next day. From there, we went to the Royal Decameron and it was Amazing in comparison. I would not recommend the Hacienda Bueneventura. I cannot express that enough.

Paradise Village Puerto Vallarta: Nice Resort, good location

The 1st time we visited this resort, we were given a very dated room in a poor location, but were moved to a better room the next day after we complained. Our 2nd visit we were given a room facing the marina which was okay, but noisy in the middle of the night with no security at the front entrance. The food is very good, but service can be slow. There is a pool that is supposed to be "adult only". However, the resort seems to be more oriented to families with small children and they ended up in [... read more] all the pools, including the adult pool and even the lap pool. We were disappointed with the overcrowding and service on the 2nd visit which was over the Easter holiday. As a couple, we were basically ignored in the restaurants while large groups received the waiters' time and attention. I think this resort is great for families with children, but we will not stay there again.

Royal Suites Punta Mita: high end place to stay

the staff was, great say hi to Marcello and the boys at the bar. The food was very good with great service. A little too much walking but hey a little walking is good for you. Will visit you again soon.

Occidental Nuevo Vallarta: Great resort

Grounds and room very nice was really disappointed no balconies. We did the up grade and really enjoyed the resturant on the 7th floor. Good selection was nice quiet dinning. Had a large group and was nice to all sit together

Sunset Plaza Beach Resort & Spa: Finally...a resort, not a factory.

Very nicely done. Visited the last week of March 2014 (Spring break). Never felt busy at all. It was like they booked to a reasonable number of people, not as many as they could get. We would go back.

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Great stand alone resort

The hotel was clean and well kept. The food choice was great and we enjoyed the different restaurants. Not a good place for someone that has difficulty with stairs since there are many. We will return.

Marival Emotions Resort and Suites Riviera Nayarit: Decent resort

The grounds were nice and the staff were hard working. It is pretty hard to give a good review however as there were 500+ Kids staying there. It was for soccer championships. It was very loud and difficult to get food or seating anywhere. Horrible experience. It may be a nice resort but they should not be offering rooms to anyone during something like that. It was supposed to be a relaxing vacation and instead we left the resort most days to get away from the noise.

Dreams Vallarta Bay Resort and Spa: Nice hotel.

I stayed here in April 2014. The rooms were beautiful and the hotel also. The food was amazing. The only thing that really sucked was you had to get downstairs and save a chair by 7am. People would do this everyday and then not even use there chair until 1:00 in the afternoon....so lame. Also the poo was very crowded and lots of kids. It is not somewhere to relax....it certainly has a party atmosphere. The service was really great at this hotel but they expect tips constantly. Villa Premiere Boutique Hotel and Romantic Getaway: Not Nearly The Experience We Had The Year Previous

Pools were not clean. Food service was horrible at the restaurants with tiny portions. Food service at the pool was better. They ran out of beer. We had excellent service in Nov. 2012. It was our best vacation ever. We were so disappointed with the food service. You had to wait FOREVER to be served at the restaurants. One night after an hour wait time, they served us our soup twice. We were past hungry at that point and left to go to our room.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Clean Resort, Great Staff

This resort while in need of an upgrade was very clean and comfortable, a la carte restaurants were very good. Walking distance from Bucerias and shopping. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Very large Adult pool.

Delfin Beach Resort Puerto Vallarta: love old town

apparently was once the best hotel in old town. . iI think it was built for president Kennedy. if you can afford the ocean front upgrade then it might be worth it. Would only stay there again if super cheap. Beds are horrible as is the food. Lunch might be ok> Usually go out for dinner anyway.

Marival Emotions Resort and Suites Riviera Nayarit: Nice grounds, beware of thefts

The resort was nice, friendly staff and had beautiful grounds. The rooms were a little outdated. The food was horrible, it seems they had the same food in the buffet everyday. The location is great not too far with a central plaza. We did have a theft issue, where my ny hat was stolen from the room and the management refused to take responsibility for its staff.
