Sunscape Splash: Perfect for a family vacation

We just returned from a family vacation involving 13 adults, ranging in age from 22 to 63, and six children between the ages of 3 and 7. Everyone had a tremendous time. The resort rooms were clean and spacious, the food was good to great and the service was outstanding. There was plenty of room at the beach and pools to accommodate all guests. Grand Decameron Montego Beach: Not a great resort

This was our second year at the Decameron and it was not as good as the first time. The food was not great but the staff were great. We saw a man die on the beach and the life guard tried so very hard to revive him but unfortunately it was to late. I did not see any management there to help his wife and other than the life guard there was only a guest giving mouth to mouth. I would have thought the resort would have had a defibrillator and there would have been a plan in place for such an event. [... read more] I would not want anything happening to me at that resort.

Coco La Palm: It was an excellent resort very clean and the rooms were huge! the beds were also very comfortable as I have a bad back and cannot usually get a pillow top bed in most resorts. The food on the resort was excellent as well and it was centrally located in Negril. The hotel staff were very accommodating to our needs. The resort put on a meet and greet with free drinks and ordervies and live music. I would not hesitate to return to CoCo La Palm again and enjoyed not having to do all inclusive!

The hotel was well kept as well as the grounds and lots of lawn chairs for everyone so you didn't have to fight to get one early in the morning. The showers in the room where large with two shower heads. The beds were pillow top and comfortable! There was a fridge and kitchenette in each room and a flat screen TV. There was also a balcony which was large with to chaise lounge chairs and a set of chairs and a table. Grand Decameron Montego Beach: Hotel needs renovation

Rooms were horrible. Tiles falling out the wall. Cable did not work. Water shuts off while taking a shower. Toilet does not flush. Water leaking.. overall room maintenance was nasty.... extremely disappointed and turned off from the rust and mold in corners and bathroom

Dreams Rose Hall: Thumbs Up

I enjoyed my stay. Great food, good beach, lots of open loungers at the pool and beach, mostly friendly staff, decent facilities, met lots of good people, fun water park. I'd for sure consider coming back at some point

Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: Good Resort

This was my second time at this resort and I would definitely go back. The restaurants were great and there was always something to do throughout the day. The entertainment staff and fitness staff were also very good.

Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: Royalton White Sands ... Best Fitness Program

Fitness program is amazing. They have yoga 2-3 times a day, TRX, bootcamp and more. Very challenging and fun. This is great because for some people, vacation is the opportunity to have the time to work out so this is great! Wish I did more.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Grand bahia principe

This was an excellent hotel and Resort. People were very kind and treated us excellent. The hotel was very well maintained and clean. I would pick another country next time due to want to different places. But I would book at the same resort.

Riu Ocho Rios: Very smelly rooms

Not a good resort at all. Our room had a very strong smell of mothball and towels very not clean at all. I had a very bad experience with a pillow cases and they were not clean at. On my last day I got food poisened by the resorts food. Do not stay at Riu at all.

Riu Ocho Rios: Amazing family trip

Hotel was nice and clean, beach was a mess for a couple of days due to rain and bad weather but was cleaned up nicely. All staff at the resort were very nice. Food was good and Dunn’s river falls was a great experience. Would definitely go back.

Couples Swept Away: Couples Swept Away 2018

The hotel was fine, but certain areas have been neglected since our last stay, which was less than a year and a half ago. The price has increased huge, but the service and cleanliness has not even been maintained. Certain waitresses made us feel like we were such an inconvenience to them (at the Patois), the public washrooms were quite filthy as well. Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Great experience!

Perfect size resort, not too big, not too small. You get familiar with where everything is if this is your first time visiting. When you meet new people it's not hard to find them. Staff is very friendly. Food is great. The whole resort is very clean and tidy... Will go back again.

Riu Montego Bay: Nice beach &pool area

Overall in good condition, but lack of room service and drink servers turned it into a self serve vacation. Poor weather meant a lot of time spent in lobby and restaurant/bar areas. Bartenders are friendly and quick to serve. Pool and beach had plenty of lounges so early “staking claim” to spots wasn’t necessary.

Sunscape Splash: Ok Resort

My family just spent 5 days at this resort. We upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite. The room was great, with an amazing view. Room came with room service, but after asking a few times for a menu, we gave up trying to order. The buffet offered a variety of foods, but had the same variety for 5 days. There were 3 a la carte restaurants. We went to the Asian Fusion, which was very dissapointing. We didnt try any of the others. Water park was fantastic! We have a 12 and 3 year olds. Both had a great [... read more] time. Beach was filled with seaweed and garbage washed up from the high winds. Beach was not cleaned consistently every day. We didn't spend much time there. What turned me off the most was seeing a 3 inch cockroach in the dining Room! I tried to ignore it and hoped it was just 1. I saw 5 more over the next two days!!! Overall, I would not recommend this hotel

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Disappointing!

We had been to Baha'i in Mexico which was a great experience so decided to try Jamaica. No comparison in service or quality of ala cartes or entertainment! It is a beautiful resort but inconsistent service made it a less enjoyable experience.

Royalton Negril Resort And Spa: WORST VACATION EVER.....WORST RESORT EVER...NOT A 5 STAR AT ALL!!

Do not go to this resort. Suggesting it is a 3 star resort would be pushing it. I would love to know how Royalton can claim that it is a 5 star resort. Dinner reservation were a nightmare. Rooms are poorly finished and damaged. Constant power outages across the entire resort. Always running out or products, drinks, food. Worst experience ever. Please don't go to this resort, you will be so upset and disappointed. Shame on the owners of the resort. Royalton Negril Resort And Spa: DO NOT GO ROYALTON NEGRIL OR CANCEL YOUR BOOKING

The resort is a disaster and not 5 star. The property and buildings are not even a year old but it looks and feels like a 3 star hotel. Power outages, poor quality of finishes, shortage or drinks and food. Table linen napkins, chairs and place mats were soiled and not clean. There was vomit in the main pool and the resort didn't close the pool to address the issue. Our 14 day visit was the worst vacation we have ever had. Save yourself the disappointment. We traveled as a group of 6 adults and 2 children at a cost of $30,000 and it was the worst value for our money ever spent. Share transfer was another nightmare. a 1.5 drive took us 4 hours. Bus broke down on the road blocking 2 lanes of traffic in both direction in the dead of night. We need to find a passerby and hitchhike to the resort at 11:00 at night with 6 bags of luggage and 2 young children. The whole experience was a nightmare. Stay away from Royalton Negril. I could go on for days with a detailed list of issues.

Dreams Rose Hall: Fantastic Family Resort

The Hilton Rose Hall & Spa Resort was simply a marvellous place to stay in Montego Bay Jamaica. From the cleanliness of the hotel itself to the immaculate lush grounds, it is a first rate hotel. Minutes from the airport, friendly staff, clean rooms and excellent food throughout their buffet, many restaurants and the al carte provided. The cuisine is very authentic and something for everyone. Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Disappointing

Stayed at luxury side, beach ok but Stoney, food ok, pool ok, rooms ok, nothing special. Have stayed at this chain in Mexico and Dominican and far better quality and service. Staff inconsistent with service. Don Pablo is the signature restaurant for these resorts and was spectacular in setting and food at other countries, not so here, also specialty coffee or gluten free deserts not available although offered in buffet!
