Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta: Amazing resort!!!

We loved this resort! It was the best one that we had ever been to. The staff are amazing. The grounds are beautiful. The food was delicious and the drinks were always enjoyed. The entertainment was fun to watch especially the nights where we ate supper on the beach and watched the dancers on the stage. It was our first time and sadly our last time to Dreams now that the hotel is changing names and getting remodelled. I loved this place!!!!

Sheraton Buganvilias Puerto Vallarta Hotel: Small resort, but very nice

With a little of a rocky start, thing definitely got better. Love, loved the pool areas, staff friendly, however time share people are pushy. Location is excellent. The beach is a 2*, if you like going into the water don't go there. We were there with 3 other couples and had a great time, overall very good holiday.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Good economical resort

Lots of bars, activities, good evening shows on many evenings, good wholesome food in outdoor restaurants. A la carte restaurants is the biggest downfall. Close to town. Nice to see Mexicans stay here as well, esp on weekends

Grand Marival Emotions Resort and Suites: Great stay

The place was just great ft the price we paid. This was our second time there. Great a la carte restaurants and the buffet always had great food. Staff was very friendly and the pools were nice and clean. We had an ocean view room which was a definite bonus.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Great for family reunions

Great value resort - our 80 year olds like their rooms near the pool & proximity to the bar, others liked the volleyball & walking to Bucarias. If you like to travel with family on a budget, the price is right.

Crown Paradise Club: Family orientated resort

The rooms were clean, housekeeping was great and staff was very friendly. The pools weren't crowded, the kids pool was amazing. The nightly activities could have been better. All in all We had a great time and I can't wait to go back.

Canto Del Sol: Did the trick!!

Totally enjoyed our stay. Buffett was small but had all you need... Pool area snack bar was awesome ... Beach small but nice... Vendors were there and didnt hassle you.. Staff were great... So was the room..,no smoking resort . There is an area to smoke tho. Close to malecon... Great cheap massages across the street. Smallish place which made it friendly. Would stay there again.... Loved PV!!

Hacienda Buenaventura Hotel and Mexican Charm: 3 STAR BUT WAY BETTER

Rooms were clean and always made up early everyday . Food was good always had a variety. Hot food station was the best Staff was amazing, drinks were ok not great. Beach was surprisingly good had sand no rocks unlike most of the other resorts we walked by. Will go back again

Sunset Plaza Beach Resort & Spa: Absolutely Amazing Resort!

All about the resort was amazing - grounds, pool, restaurants, room w oceanview, and staff. This family trip will sit at the top of our list next to Jamaica of course :) ..............................

Plaza Pelicanos Club: Awesome Resort

The rooms food and service were great had an great time ,would recommend this resort to everyone .Plan on going back There was always something to do ,the entertainment was awesome Food was excellent I have not one complaint ."Awesome" Resort

Crown Paradise Club: Paradise is a paradise

I was skeptical of a place with "Paradise" in the name, but for me Crown Paradise lived up to its name. The grounds and buildings were beautiful and well maintained, it was right on the beach, there was a choice of pools. The buffet was excellent, packed with great local options, a juice bar in the morning, soups, and something for everyone. The best time was on the weekends (when there were Mexican tourists) that's when the buffet was really great, it was average but good the rest of the time. [... read more] I didn't try the specialty restaurants. There were many gems on the staff; they were helpful and pleasant. Others could be more business-like and less accommodating, but they were in the minority. The rooms were clean, air-conditioned, comfortable. If you don't like the sound of kids, make sure you are on the wing that doesn't look onto the kids pool. I personally like to hear them playing all day.
