Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Amazing Resort

There is absolutley nothing bad i can say about this resort. We had a GREAT trip, The people, resort, food, room were excellent. Food was over the top delicious, Rooms were big and clean, The people were so friendly and easy to understand...I espcecially liked our concierges Edward, he was excellent. Highly recomment this resort and i will definately be back.

Punta Cana Princess: amazing resort

bedroom.is quite clean and all services are very good. I like the spa. food are okay. the beach have too many sea grass （maybe due to the season). pool is good. I would like to recommend my friends to this resort.

TRS Cap Cana Hotel: Stay away!

Hotel was hit hard by the hurricane and is under construction! Only one restaurant open and the sounds of jack hammers all day! They pump up the music to try and drown it out! But…. The staff is trying hard under these circumstances.

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Beautiful Resort

The Bahia Principe Aquamarine was a beautiful resort. It was very clean. The staff were lovely and the entertainment staff were fantastic and lots of fun. They interacted with the guests and made them feel very welcomed. I would definitely come back.

Excellence Punta Cana: Excellence is an understatement!

The resort was fantastic. Entertainment every day, restaurants and food were great and the staff friendly and courteous. Resort was kept clean and pristine. The only negative were the rip tides but the resort can’t control the ocean!

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Very disappointed with bahia Punta cana

Rooms were very dirty, also sour smelling and musty. Room changed 3 times. Poor quality of food on buffet,exact same thing for 2weeks. The bug issue is a very big problem outside and in rooms. My mother needed to be seen by the dr for bites as our benadryl and hydrocortisone cream did not work. Lots of guests covered in bug bites. Cockroaches in room. Occidental Punta Cana: Gorgeous place to stay

The grounds were extremely well maintained. A very lovely place to spend vacation. The food offerings were a bit limited but were decent overall. We did not enjoy the restaurants as much as we enjoyed the buffet. Breakfast was extremely popular and very tasty!

El Beso Adults Only at Ocean El Faro: Resort review

This resort is very beautiful and the grounds are kept in an immaculate manner. We were in the adults only section, the pool area was great no kids however the buffet area which is supposed to be adults only section had a lot of kids running around despite signs saying adults only. I think the staff should have intervene and remind parents about this. I would also say that 60 percent of the staff were not friendly and service was slow in the buffet area for breakfast and lunch. He would offer lots of other people in the pool area drinks but ignore us, avoided eye contact with us. We even tipped him quite a bit to see if the service would be better but it wasn't. We ended up getting our own drinks. The nightly shows were too late, starting at 9:30 and were not very good. They cancelled the beach party claiming it was going to rain. There was no rain in the forecast. They could have changed it to another day. The beach is beautiful but lots of seaweed that is not cleaned up.

TRS Turquesa: Do not recommend

The hotel is ok. No more. If you encounter problems, the guest service is the worst. They will give you the run around. The food is ok. The service at the restaurant hotel is poor. We will not return to that hotel.

Majestic Mirage Punta Cana All Suite Resort: Majestic Mirage All Suites Resort

We have been to Dominican Republic at least 6-7 times and this was by far the best resort we’ve been to! Beautiful and clean grounds and rooms, friendly and fun staff everywhere and excellent food!! We would go back here for sure!!

Occidental Caribe: NOT FOR US...

I have been to several resorts in Cuba, DR, Mexico, Barbados etc. I anticipated the food would be mediocre and the rooms out of date but I was going for the lovely beaches of Punta Cana. Unfortunately this was the biggest disappointment for us. The beach is beautiful but the WAVES were so rough it was not good at all for kids and parents. We could not be more that arms reach away from him the entire time he was in the water because of the strong waves and undertow. The food wasnt great if you have kids. The pizza place was only open on weekends and if your not there when it opens your waiting in line. The buffet was ok. Always something but not much buffet options for the kids besides Fries. If you speak Spanish you are going to be okay but not speaking Spanish we were challenged. Majority of staff don't speak English, the resort seems to cater more to the locals that come for weekends - this is when things go so busy there were lines everywhere. The rooms were very outdated but that is not a problem for us. What WAS a problem was that our SAFE was broken and we spent a few hours in the room waiting to get it fixed. The AC is also barely working so it was quite warm, the fan and AC were not able to be changed to colder temps. Also our ceiling was peeling and our friends we met there had a leak in their ceiling. The pools were nice but the adult pool was the only pool that had any activities. We couldn't go to that pool because we had our son but we would have loved to participate in the activities. The kids pool area was very cute, lots of fun but it is more geared to younger kids under 6 yrs. My son is 8 and he wanted a pool that he could swim and jump and play so we used the other pool kids were allowed in but it was very quiet with nothing going on. We later found out there were some kids activities but we missed most of them. I would suggest if you go because of the price be prepared to get what you pay for. If you dont like to swim in the ocean and dont mind outdated rooms and Cuba like food options this is good for you. The grounds were beautiful and beach was super close to the hotel. If you enjoy the beach and swimming you might want to book on the side of Punta Cana more closer to the Caribbean Sea - like Barcelo etc. We also did 2 excursions that were fantastic - Monkeyland and the Caribbean Pirates at Sea. We had a great time and our 8 year old loved both. If you do go find Nelson in the dining room and Anna from the Kids club. Both were fantastic! Below I rated the BEACH/POOL low because of the beach but the pool was nice just lots of cups at the bottom of it - my son recovered most of them each morning.

It's have been one week since we get back from Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Resort . The resort is very clean , beautifully laid out and the staff are amazing people , especially our butler Francisco who took care of us from the moment we arrived , to the moment we left . Majestic Mirage Punta Cana All Suite Resort: Beautiful resort!

The staff were very friendly, rooms super spacious and I loved the deep bathtub in the room and jacuzzi on the balcony. Food was excellent in the restaurants as well as the 2 buffets. Beach was lovely, pools were clean and lots of staff to keep bringing those spectacular cocktails. We love the signature drink 'The Majestic', it was like drinking a creamsicle.

Heather Felice suggested this resort and we are so glad she did. We stayed in the upgraded adults only section and it was amazing. Food Was fabulous and resort was the cleanest we have ever been to. Had a butler who arranged anything we needed. Only remotely negative thing is there are some rocks out in the water but Not enough to stop us from visiting again. We are beach people and it was an amazing beach!

Royalton Bavaro Resort and Spa: Great Resort!

Overall the hotel was great. Loved the layout, lazy river, pools, restaurants etc. What thr hotel can improve on is the cleanliness in the pools, as 2 family members got ear infections and another a UTI from the pools. Also, i find that the rooms are only satisfactory cleaned and the cleaning staff need to be more attentive to that. The beach was very choppy and a lot of seaweed but if you walk a little bit you can find areas to swim, not ideal for small children. Overall the resort was great!!!

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Baha’i Principle Grand Punta Cana

We choose this resort and wasn’t disappointed. It met our expectations from the we arrived to the day we departures. We have already recommended this resort to our relatives and friends. We will definitely stay at this location for our next vacation.

Grand Palladium Select Bavaro: not so grand

Food was OK but some of the restaurants were disappointing Cockroaches our room . The public toilets were not cleaned and some were flooded. Beaches had a lot of seaweed OVERALL 3 *
