Breezes Bahamas: STAYED DEC 25, 2018 TO JAN 1, 2019

To start the weather wasn't good when we arrived. The first 4 days were very windy and off and on rain. The last 3 days were sunny. We had a ground floor pool view with terrace which we asked for. Bed was comfy. Room could have used a really good cleaning ie: drapes, sheers & floor around the baseboards. Food was good. Beautiful beach. They could use a beach bar as there is only 1 bar around the pool. Wish they would use reusable plastic cups instead of the disposable ones. We brought o [... read more]ur own cups. They went all out on the New Years party with live band and Junk a Roo parade. All in all we made the best of it. You can tell this resort is geared for the spring breakers. Would not return to this resort. Maybe if the weather had been better I would have given a better rating.

Breezes Bahamas: Awesome place

We wer pleasantly surprised when we arrived.. More than we expected as from previous reviews we had the impression it was a dated hotel It isn't..maybe they had renovations..but it is beautiful..nit luxury But for the price ..(time of the year, Christmas) it is worth it Place was clean..staff and service were excellent , room was lovely eso the pool n of an view room. The outdoor grill was great..fresh food All in all it was a great mini vacation and I can't wait to go again Ps 1 small thing, we were hungry when we arrived as out flight was late afternoon and by the time we checked in, it was after 10 pm so we were hungry and had no dinner. We had to wait until 12 midnite for the 'snack' Had we known we won't have had dinner upon arrival we would have purchased dinner on flight

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Very good resort

This resort was really good... The breakfast, jerk chicken lunch and a La cartes were amazing. All the workers were really friendly especially LG and keno they were really helpful and friendly. Would recommend this resort

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Fantastic! My second visit!

I liked this Riu so much I returned again this December. It is about a 3-3.5 hour flight and a 45 min from the airport so it’s great for a quick getaway. Both times I chose the Thursday - Sunday option and considering it again next year. Food and beverage - pretty great, a huge variety of items to choose from. Amazing salad bar, always meats, cheeses, fish, chicken, vegetables, pizza, pasta, paninis, bruschetta, seafood, fresh fruit, ice cream,you name it! The beverages are the best that [... read more] I’ve had at any all inclusive type resort (I’ve also traveled to Jamaica/Dominican/ Mexico/Cuba so I have experienced many). They have a martini bar and make a mean Espresso Martini! You can get lattes, espresso, or cappuccino every morning and throughout the day as there’s a coffee bar that’s open in the lobby. I’m pThe process for eating in their a la Carte restaurants is a strange one. I feel it may just be due to whatever administrative costs are associated with managing reservations but it’s firat come first serve and people line up to an hour ahead of time if you wanted to eat in the a la Carte restaurants. The first seating is at 6:30 and second at 9. This recent visit I didn’t bother to plan to wait in line and stuck with the buffet. Last time I had the Japanese restaurant and we ended up going to the buffet after anyways. They also have room service! Sun - the beach is absolutely incredible and the lifeguard will get the beach chairs for you or at least find you some. Beautiful white sand with aqua blue waves. There’s a smaller swim up bar- infinity pool outside and a larger pool. This hotel is much smaller than any of the other resorts I’ve ever stayed in and it’s hotel style with 15 floors rather than spread out 2-3 levels. Guest rooms - excellent, clean, every room has an ocean view with a balcony. The toilets seem to run all the time so if you get a room with one that does, I don’t think it’s fixable. I would just close the bathroom door at night. There isn’t much night life, no disco or night club but I did dance in the martini bar last year, this year I really took it easy and relaxed which was entirely possible. The hotel is located right next to Atlantis so you can pop littering next store and explore this great big hotel. They have great shops at the Marina but nice to come back to your adult only resort :) In my professional life I work for a 5 star Hotel brand and would still come back to this hotel a 3rd time!

Warwick Paradise Island: Goodtimes, man...

Great location - steps away from Atlantis and marina village (neat little village with shops and restaurants and live music). Adults only resort made it nice to see Atlantis without staying in the child zoo that it appeared to be. Easy to walk around and enjoy paradise island as well as getting to the main island of Nassau. Hotel is perhaps a bit dated but maintained very well - clean and tidy inside and grounds are well kept. Bedrooms are average sized, beds are quite comfortable. Of the á la  [... read more]carte restaurants we tried 2 of 3 (dont forget to make reservations!). Both edgewater and abiocco were delicious. Menus are a tad limited but all are yummy. Pool is lovely and the hot tub was nice for those not so good weather days. Pool bar chiccharnies had some good eats as well! The beach they have is nice for the sand and for looking at but not so much swimming - too close to the marina - BUT they do shuttle to cabbage beach which is gorgeous and wonderful for swimming as long as the winds behave. They have pool tables and foosball and host other game activities/events. Staff is friendly and helpful. Overall had a fantastic time and would stay at the Warwick again !

Riu Palace Paradise Island: The best resort to stay at in the The Bahamas as per value for money!!!

The hotel/resort was right at the Paradise Island beach, and had amazing staff helping out 24x7. The resort had 4 restaurants on premises, each one unique and amazing in food quality and dining experience. The swim-up bar was the best part of the resort and the bar-tending staff was very polite. Another thing, housekeeping was punctual and kept the room sparkling clean each day. The resort was exactly as shown on the website. There was one thing which should be kept in mind, the room service men [... read more]u was not up to the mark. It just had 4 items, and the lady who answered the phone was pretty rude, but that's it. So I would recommend to eat at the restaurants in the resort, rather than ordering room service. Other than that, it was an amazing stay, and would love to visit again, when in The Bahamas.

Breezes Bahamas: Excellent value

The location, the beach, the staff, the variety and quality of the food were amazing for the cost of the trip. Thrilled to have all the water sports included especially the hobie cats. Hope they never change that. Loved having a 4 day holiday. How quick the transfers to the airport were. Beach and water superb.

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Relaxing Place

The hotel staff were absolutely amazing! Food was great! Rooms were your average rooms but my view of the ocean was fabulous. I feel the hotel is catering more to the older guests. I think they need more entertainment and games. The entertainment staff were awesome but they don’t get a whole lot of time to do much with everyone. The hotel also defiantley needs to have music playing longer then 2 hours during the day. Nothing like “MUSIC” and drinks by the pool. Bahamas is beautiful!

Breezes Bahamas: Met Expectations

The beach: AMAZING! The room: comfortable and clean The resort: small and cozy feel The staff: very friendly The activities/facilities (like water sports, tennis, pool) - friendly staff to help - highlight was our tennis lesson! The food: For foodies it will fall very short of the mark - but if you don't care much about the food, and you're looking for volume in lieu of flavor or variety, there will be no issues for less picky eaters! The entertainment: we didn't participate in any of the  [... read more]shows or the late night bar scene Location: As mentioned the beach was great - also a very short drive to the airport, and very easy to take the bus into Nassau to look around (I wouldn't bother booking a tour - as it's so easy to get to town and walk to all of the tour spots)

Grand Hyatt Baha Mar: Grand Hyatt a Baha Mar Bahamas

Excellent hotel - Nice / new rooms - Very clean - Nice Ocean view - Friendly staff Restaurants / Bars were very expensive. * The beach was clean with plenty of water toys for the hotel guests. There was also a free water excursion to a local island, where you could lounge on their beach or partake in the sting ray or dolphin encounters. They also had a restaurant and bar. Back on the hotel’s beach, parasailing and catamaraning were also available for a price. Just outside the ho [... read more]tel at the straw market was some reasonably priced food and drink. Within a 20-minute walk along Cable Beach, you have multiple other restaurants, pastry shops and a grocery store (if you what to do it yourself). The local bus was simple and cheap, $1.25 per trip. The hotel casino was nice and glitzy but seemed very quiet during our stay. Everyone was very helpful and pleasant.

The hotel was clean and the grounds were clean. The place is dated but it looks like it's going under renovations. The staff were friendly and the food was okay. We left the resort every night and took the shuttle to bahamar for entertainment.

Melia Nassau Beach Resort: Nice Place

Staff were very friendly however we were always seated late at the restaurants even with reservations. Rooms and the resort was very clean. limited selection for food both at the restaurants and buffet. Overall, nice place to relax

Sandals Royal Bahamian: Beautiful Beaches - Not worth the cost

This was our first time staying at a Sandals. The beach and private island were amazing with the swings, rafts, hammocks and snorkeling. The resort was dated in some areas including the crystal restaurant and showed its age compared to newer places. The buffet was lacking especially with fruit but the a la carte dinners were very good. It was very difficult to get reservations and we could not get into the Kimono Restaurant during our 5 day stay there. It lacked things like a coffee shop with pastries and things like that to snack on during the day. Our room was a club level oceanview and was adequate but again dated. We spent all of our days on the beach and very much enjoyed ourselves. Other than the piano bar, the evening entertainment was very low key with some singers but no production type shows. We had a great time overall but it was definitely not worth the cost compared to other resorts we have been to and we will not be returning to a Sandals strictly based on what you get for the cost, there are better options.

Melia Nassau Beach Resort: Great weekend away!

We did a quick Friday-Monday trip. The hotel was exactly as expected. There is construction going on but it by no means has a negative impact on your stay. The beach was gorgeous, daily entertainment was great! We went into downtown one day (very expensive). The bus is super cheap to get you there. The food is decent, you definitely won’t starve. Only thing we would change...wish we we had of booked a longer stay!

The hotel has been renovated and looks good but the pools are awkwardly placed. We upgraded our room to have a better view of the ocean but we could hear music and loud talkers even when our door was closed. The buffet was not the greatest. Not many choices. We went to one restaurant, the Steakhouse. My husband waited in line at 5:30 and we received an 8:00pm reservation. The food was terrible and cold. The beach was spectacular and there were many employees to help you set up your beach chairs  [... read more]and umbrellas. We thought we had a private beach , however, there were many locals and visitors at our beach. There were many people passing by trying to sell sea-do time, parasailing and beach bags. We ended up spending extra money and going to the Atlantis for dinner. If I ever went back to Bahamas I would stay at the Atlantis. Even though it may seem like more money, you definitely get what you pay for.

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Agent had poor communication

Our travel agent asked our group of 13 to call to pay the deposit by the next day. Then she went on vacation. no one at the office could accept payment. Then when the balance was due, the exact same thing happened!

Sandals Royal Bahamian: Very nice resort, not to mention the famous island

It's a nice resort , very well maintained. Large pools for everyone to please. All water sport equipments are very well maintained & secured to use them. Only few hours flight & there is paradise. All resort attendant are there to please & help us as much as they can I think there was a problem with the a/c in our bldg. as the a/c was running all the time, the room was cold as well as the main hall. Should have been rectified quickly as it brings a real cost to the co.

Warwick Paradise Island: Amazing honeymoon

Warwick paradise island resort was absolutely amazing! All of the workers were very friendly and helpful. The resort was very clean and the food was all really good as well! I would for sure go back to Warwick!

Melia Nassau Beach Resort: Great Resort!

Overall this hotel was okay. The room was clean and nice looking. Most of the workers were friendly and helpful. I’ve been to other places and I find that the entertainment at this resort needs some upgrading. This resort lacked in the entertainment department. The food was good but I was a little worried when it came to the lady making the chicken and how she would use the same tongs for the uncooked chicken, cooked chicken and pasta. Riu Palace Paradise Island: Wonderful resort

My sister and I where very impressed with the hotel, the service, all the staff, the food was excellent. We would go back there anytime as we enjoyed it so much. I would highly recommend The Riu Bahamas for anyone looking for a wonderful vacation.
