El Dorado Royale: welcoming resort

The Hotel in itself has a very large and clean compound.Their staff is very welcoming and polite.The fact that we have access to several restaurants in nearby hotels was also very interesting and I was able to taste a large variety of food.Howether on teh negative note,i would say the that the beach was not attractive at all with the sea weeds.

Barcelo Maya Riviera: Love the Barcelo Maya Riviera AO

Everything about the property is wonderful and immaculately clean at all times. A fantastic infinity pool with pristine views of the beach. Food is great, staff are friendly and we look forward to our next visit.

Majestic Mirage Costa Mujeres All Suite Resort: Great resort-great location!

Rooms are 5*. Room and hotel layout is similar to sister Elegance hotel.The water park rocks with multiple adult and child water slides! Food is awesome at buffet and the restaurants! My only issue was you couldn't always be certain of opening times (if even open) on the hotel app. The location is perfect; beach sand here is powdery. Majestic staff is 5*!

Allegro Playacar: Good value resort

If your looking for a relaxing vacation this is your resort! Food was mediocre, not a huge selection but you could always find stuff to eat. Grounds were beautiful and well manicured. The staff were incredibly kind and went above an beyond to help with anything. Rooms although small were clean and comfortable. Never had a problem with air conditioning or hot water. Pools were nice and never to crowded. The lounge chair game wasn't to bad but if you came past 10am was harder to find chairs [... read more] at the pool. Beach is beautiful water is blue. Entertainment is lacking but they try their best! Overall if you are looking for a good location, relaxing vacation, then this is a great value for the price. This is on the lower budget end but for the cost it is well worth it! If your coming for the beach its perfect, if your coming for the food, entertainment and luxury room book somewhere else. For a quick easy cheap vacation, I would recommend this resort all day long!

Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach: Awesome resort

The resort is beautiful,the food is amazing,and the staff are so welcoming .The monkeys,and Mexican animals are fun to watch.We have been to this resort 5 times,and love it.The buffet is amazing.Its fantastic that the staff remember us every year.

Krystal Grand Los Cabos: Krystal Grand Los Cabos

We had a very decent time here the rooms were , hotel staff were friendly and attentive . Food at them Ala’ carte restaurant s wa shoos but portions a bit smal. The bigger as a typical All inclusive buffet , drinks were good and not watered down All in all and enjoyable stay !!!

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Was disappointed after staying at the Tulum

Unfortunately we did not have a great time on his family vacation. We got to our room and I can’t say bad things about the room itself. It was odd to have 4 single beds for a family of 4 but that was the least of our worries. We stayed at the tulum resort in November and it was night and day better than the coba. We knew coba would be more budget version but we didn’t realize how much. First thing is the resort is much smaller as they took away some of the coba to make it the tequila adu [... read more]lts only. Secondly - food was absolutely terrible. There was no pasta stations, everything was 90% of the time empty at the buttet (chicken, bacon, hashbrowns. Fruit etc) Everything else was meh in terms of food nothing special. My family had pizza a lot, as it was the best option. The pool bar had a very bad smell. Almost puke worthy. Found it hard to get a drink as there was only 1 bartender. Also you could only order tequila shots, nothing else at the pool bar. You had to pay to visit the other resorts $100-200 per person for the day. I could go on but that is the big pain points. Safe to say my family will not be returning to Bahía Príncipe explore coba.

NYX Hotel Cancun: Good resort

Although we did not get the room we booked, this resort was clean and the staff aimed to please. The staff on the beach were amazing and made sure we were well looked after. The restaurants were underwhelming, especially for Mexico.Also not everything on the al la carte menus were included which was disappointing. I can understand an upcharge for lobster or certain cuts of steak, but for pasta dishes and cocktails not to be included was very disappointing.

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Amazing Resort

This resort was one of my favourite resorts that I’ve been to The food was amazing. The alcohol was upgraded. The people were extremely helpful that worked there and everything was very clean. I have nothing bad to say about this resort. I will definitely be going back there.

Bahia Principe Escape Tequila: Bahía Príncipe Tequila

Very nice “adult only” section amongst the Coba section. Entertainment is very loud all day and until almost 1:00am. No poolside service so there’s a line up at the pool bar most of the time. No room service. The buffet was very good. The beach was unswimmable with all the seaweed. Only one spot to get drinks at the beach and was a line up all the time. I would go back to the Sian Ka’an next time. The room was very nice and I had a king bed.

Grand Decameron Los Cabos: Lovely family friendly resort

The Decameron is a small resort. Very intimate but not crowded. The pools provide ample space for all guests, including an adults only pool that is removed from the larger pools. Very clean with updated rooms, beds and bathrooms. The food was very good although the a la carte restaurant is quite small and it could be difficult to get a reservation there. The buffet was very nice with a mixture of Mexican and International foods. The staff is very friendly. It feels like a boutique hotel and alth [... read more]ough children are welcome it doesn’t have children’s’ activities. It also has a quiet vibe, not a crazy party atmosphere. Very relaxing and intimate. I loved it.

Secrets Huatulco: Expected more

The front desk and lobby areas seemed to be clean and in good order. The elevators were slow, had dirty glass and in need of repairs. The tile in the pool need to be repaired. Maintenance worker was in the pool chipping out tiles. Raccoons attempted to jump on tables while we were eating supper. Our room was not in the condition it should be for a 5 star resort. Dirty tub, large caulking gaps with signs of mold showing. Sliding door for the balcony was very difficult to slide open and  [... read more]closed. The handle was loose. The mini fridge was leaking and must have been leaking for quite some time because the rust stains on the floor are signs of this. Inconsistent with the quality of the towels in the room. Had some that were thin and had frayed edges. Good for use as a cleaning rag.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Decline in Quality and Value

This resort is just okay. We stayed in the same resort 2 years ago and there has been a material decline in quality and very inconsistent levels of service, which we heard from everyone. Some of the restaurants (higher end) were still excellent. The quality of booze was weak. We were unable to get any alcohol in our room except beer (wine was over $60 USD). It was impossible to get small pesos to provide tips, had to literally make change from the tip jars. Every drink was filled with aspart [... read more]ame.... The beaches continue to be pretty gross with seaweed despite tons of cleanup efforts. There was significant construction while we were there, but it was only disclosed in the very fine print. Given the recent purchase by Hyatt, the app/website were very unfriendly (incompatible) - we were super lucky to get our restaurant reservations, but not a single other person we spoke to was as lucky. We used the recommended transport company (Nexus Tours) - we upgraded to private - but on arrival we waited almost an hour for our ride and the communication/treatment by the agent was extremely rude. Note the driver on the way home was on time and very polite. I would recommend this ONLY if you are looking for 3/4 stars - no longer approaching 5* status.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Beautiful Resort

We loved our stay. Amazing service and food. Access to 4 other resorts. Loved that our resort was farther from the others. It was more private and had more of a jungle vibe. We got to see spider monkeys from the pool. Unfortunately, the beaches were full of seaweed and inaccessible.

The Westin Cozumel: An Excellent Stay at The Westin Cozumel

We had an excellent week stay at the Westin Cozumel. Drinks are varied and not watered down with excellent service an attentive staff. Tip: bring a reusable straw. The food was great though could present limited options. Breakfast buffet style overlooking turquoise water. Lunch had two options while supper would alternate everynight between the two main restaurants. Room service is also available. FYI - If you are not a seafood lover, it eliminates half the menus. Some folks indicated that the beach snorkelling was better than the excursions. Neibouring resort beaches were unswimmable. After a full day of beach or pool, you can relax at the adults-only rooftop pool and terrace to cool off in the shade or get those last rays of sunshine before dinner. For those that haven't experienced the "Westin Heavenly Bed", you'll sleep like a baby. This provided a much needed relaxing holiday. Jodi and Frank

Royal Solaris: ROYAL SOLARIS

The hotel is quite lovely with it's architecture and the fact it is low rise (4-5) floors. Our room was great, quiet, good view of the pool and clean. Food often left something to be desired, luke warm, limited choice/variety. The Mexican "specialty" restaurant was a let down. All taco menu. Staff pretty good.It is a family hotel but I found there were too many kids. Large pool too crowded but the adult only pool was nice. The resort was very clean and workers were nice and most of them spoke English.. Arturo at the front desk was professional who went over and above to accommodate you..Entertainment was great Alex made sure it was fun for everyone.. Booking any incursions plan with Oscar he was very experienced and knew his stuff.. Food was good.. Drinks could have been better..

Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta: Hyatt Zina hotel was fantastic

My trip and vacation was great. The weather was hot.l would recommend that inclusive should be clarified who is responsible for shuttle transportation from Puerto Vallarta airport to the hotel and return from hotel to the airport. It was not clear if Airtransat was the shuttle provider since at the arrival No-one was available but likely there were plenty of taxis at the airport. This item should be clarified and organized better.

Moon Palace Cancun: Absolutely love this resort!

This resort ticks all of my boxes. Very clean, great food, grounds are beautiful, staff are wonderful. Didn't want to come back. This was my third time at this resort. Had a spectacular view of the gulf from our balcony.

Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: Wonderful Resort!

We absolutely love Akumal Bay Beach & Spa Resort. The service is outstanding-every staff member is so kind and welcoming. (Thank you to Aurora for our wonderful breakfasts each morning!) Oceanfront rooms, a beautiful beach just steps away, and incredible snorkeling right off the shore made this stay unforgettable. The resort has a smaller, intimate feel-you quickly feel connected, like you’re part of it… truly a “welcome home” experience. We’ve been coming back every year for the past four years-and can’t wait to return again!
