Dreams Jade Resort and Spa: Beautiful resort

Beautiful resort and grounds, super clean, great and helpful staff, Restaurants were very good but not great. Fantastic room service. I would recommend to stay in Preferred club at this resort as you will have an Adults only pool with a lot less noise and a sit down restaurant with full service for breakfast. The shows were not bad and the Fire show was excellent.. This resort has a very limited beach so better for pool people. Dreams Natura Resort and Spa: Extremely Disappointed

We were excited about staying at the Four Diamond Hyatt property and we spent considerable time choosing what we at the time thought would be an outstanding vacation. We could not have been more wrong. The room itself was beautiful; however, the housekeeping was so sporadic that I called the concierge to inquire whether or not the rooms were maintained daily. The food is not 5 star by any stretch of the imagination especially at the buffet. Very limited selection and poor execution. The rest [... read more]aurants were slightly better, if small portions, cold appetizers and small lukewarm entrées are considered “better”. The preferred club food sits out for hours and rarely replenished. Speaking of the preferred club, I would suggest that you do not spend the extra money if you’re travelling with small children. I struggled to see the benefits of it. We received far better service at the hotel concierge than we did in the preferred club. Apathetic service from the desk staff at best. They couldn’t care less about smiling or being pleasant. My wife asked the PC concierge about doing something special for my birthday. She was told the only thing they will do is sing happy birthday at the Italian restaurant, only to find a beautiful set up by the pool for someone else’s birthday. I have pics. Two of the three waterslides were out of service the entire trip. A large section of the pool deck was under construction as well. If we didn’t get up by 6am to put towels down on the chairs we wouldn’t have a place to sit for the remainder of the day. No families allowed in the preferred club area despite the construction. On two separate days, despite a huge section of the pool deck being closed off for repairs, they shut down most of the remaining space for a party and a wedding. Shocking. I had read that the hotel was a “wedding factory” but dismissed these reviews as overreactions. I was wrong. Weddings were constant and the noise was unbearable. The music echoed throughout our room to the point where we had to raise our voices to hear each other. Getting our 6 year old to sleep before 10pm was impossible. On our last night we had the unfortunate experience to have wedding guests screaming profanities into the DJs mic. Yes I complained. No, they didn’t do anything. We were also disappointed to find out that the hotel does not offer a shuttle service to Playa or Cancún, unless you want to spend time in a tequila shop and jewellery store. Don’t get sucked into the “information session” about the vacation club. It’s not an hour and it is a high pressure full court pitch despite what they say. We made the best of it and tried to stay positive, but we would never go back to this resort or any other Dream property.

Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana: Fantastic resort

First off would like to thank Natasha Spencer from tripcentral.ca for all the pertinent information and guidance she offered for this trip, already mentioned to her that she will be my travel agent for a long time. Dreams Tulum Resort and Spa: Great Place to Stay

My wife and I loved this resort. The staff is very friendly. The food was great. The rooms were clean. The remote setting in the jungle near the water is great for those who love nature. The beach is very nice. Not enough palapas however for all the guests, and unless you like to bask directly in the sun, you have to make sure you get up first thing in the morning to reserve a place. I found sometime the social activities were a bit distracting, there should be a dedicated area for those who [... read more] like it quiet. But overall, I would recommend this place as a nice place to stay.

Dreams Huatulco: Total Disappointment

This was our third time staying at this location, total disappointment. Upon arrival the air conditioning in our room was not working, we submitted a service request and were total within an hour it would work, it didn’t. A second request on the next day, still not working. We requested another room and were told, no other rooms were available. We asked for a fan, none available. Pool chairs were scarce, in previous stays, you could ask and someone would bring out a pool chair. The food was good, not as good as our previous stays. Overall the resort could use some updating

Dreams Playa Bonita Panama: Lovely spot with great food and drink!

We spent a week here and we really enjoyed it. The staff were helpful, even climbing a tree to help take close-up photos of the sloths for us! The food was delicious and the drinks were good quality. There are lots of activities for those who like to keep active. Things move a bit slowly in the restaurants but that didn't bother us. The resort organized a fantastic outdoor dinner with live entertainment for Valentine's Day, even having Cupid go around for photos with everyone! A drawback was the [... read more] lack of shady areas to sit near the pools or beach in the extreme heat but the grounds are meticulously maintained and beautiful. I would highly recommend NOT flying into the Rio Hato airport if staying here as the drive when we arrived took three hours due to traffic that seems to always be flowing into Panama City!

Dreams Huatulco: Huatulco is my new favourite place in Mexico

Just returned from dreams Huatulco what a beautiful side of Mexico. Safest place I have ever felt kind people who are proud and the cleanest city I have ever seen. Dreams Huatulco needs updating desperately however the staff and surroundings made up for all that. Spent every day on the beach ocean was so warm I never once used the pools (6) of them which were also gorgeous. Can't wait to return

Dreams Cozumel Cape Resort and Spa: Wouldn’t return

Stayed in February 2024 When you arrive at Cozumel, the second you get off of the plane the sales pitches begin. You’re directed to a person that will try to sell you the normal excursions. Once you get away from them you’re directed to your actual rep. As soon as we spoke to her she told us to be weary of the previous sales persons. Which was a little late, or could have been if we had signed up for something. The shuttle ride to the resort is short. Once you get to the resort you’re put into [... read more] the checkin area. Air conditioning and sparkling wine. And the selling begins again. They’re definitely too pushy and the pitch is way too long. Once we got away to our room our air conditioner was blasting away. (A little too much but we quickly found a comfortable temperature for us). The rooms are clean, bug free, the beds are comfy and pillows are great. No one gets a King bed and everyone has two doubles from what we heard / saw. There are two restaurants at Dreams. But you have access to others at secrets and sunscape. The food at the restaurants is great and breakfast is good too. The pool is very cold. Gets next to ZERO sun. And it is very small. The beach is also very small. And between the beach and pool there is no where near enough loungers for the guests so you either get up at 5 to claim a chair, wait to nab one if someone leaves, or just don’t have one. Finally … the house cleaners (or whoever ever else let themselves into our room during the day) stole from us. I had a very expensive facial serum taken from the bathroom. We didn’t let the cleaners in after the second day for this reason which was a pain for towels and getting new water bottles. I searched the room for a couple days to make sure I wasn’t mistaken before I said something. Once I did say something the staffs response was … yeah well (insert a shrug of the shoulders), we can always improve on things. No apology. He didn’t even bother to ask what had been stolen. All in all we wouldn’t return. Partially for the service. Mostly for the hotel and its beach / pool area.

We absolutely loved this resort. The resort was 500 room, easy to get around. Amazing cleanliness, fabulous service, staff was helpful. Food was fabulous, never a lack of variety. The beach is a surf beach but we were able to body surf 3 days as it was not to rough. No weeds and amazing sand. Flat rock at the entrance but no issues getting in the ocean. 2 water parks, one for under 10 and one for over 10. Lazy river which we enjoyed. Never really busy. Chip truck which is included, great fish [... read more] tacos and much much more. A lacarte restaurants were not a challenge to book time. We went to Japanese twice and Italian once. The wine is from Spain and exquisite.

Dreams Jade Resort and Spa: Great Resort

This hotel is situated perfectly right on the beach with all the restaurants and shops centrally located. Food is really good, service was excellent and entertainment was also very good. The room needs refreshing-a coat of paint would be helpful but very comfortable bed and nice big bathroom that was never short on hot water. Air conditioning also worked great. We took advantage of the spa services and were very happy with the experience. Overall great experience and would happily return to this resort.

Dreams Flora Resort and Spa: Lovely getaway

Tropical grounds. Good food and drinks beautiful beach. We enjoyed our 5 day get away as a couple. Would definitely come back and bring the kids. Don’t pass up going to the seaside grill, fantastic steaks!

This is a newer hotel . Everything is first class. Marble walls 30' high many infinity pools 3 Pickleball courts added Wi-Fi available throughout resort Staff is very polite & helpful Beach is sand with quite a few rocks when you go in the water. need water shoes, waves always breaking , great for surfers. surf boards, kayaks provided. Dreams Onyx Resort and Spa: Nice resort!

The Dreams Onyx is a beautiful resort. It's extremely large and sprawling. The food was good. Few complaints were the bathrooms were not plentiful especially if you chose to relax on the beach, it's quite a walk to the washrooms. A bathroom should be available at the beach bar huts. Staff were mostly nice, few grumps in the bunch. Entertainment was lacking. The only entertainment at night was the theatre entertainment. Nothing in the lobby or other bar area. Elevator was iffy and we were  [... read more]on the third floor, sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't, so we took the stairs. Seemed to be a great plan for families. We were 4 seniors. We had a relaxing holiday.

Dreams Bahia Mita Surf and Spa: Very Average for the price

The Hotel was very average, food was very average. Paid for the Preferred Stay and nobody told us what we were entitled to ( waste of money). The staff was very friendly and helpful. Found there was not enough restaurants for the dreams side.

Dreams Onyx Resort and Spa: Amazing resort

The grounds, pools were extremely well kept. The rooms were spacious, made service was excellent. All the room supplies, stocking the refrigerator were looked after daily. The staff were extremely friendly and polite. The best a la cart was the Bluewater steakhouse. The buffet had a good variety of different foods, it was O.K. The beaches were great with lots of shore line for walking. A very good family resort with lots of activities for kids. Very nice water park and slides.

Dreams Onyx was a great place to go with the family. Brought my two little ones (10m and 2.5 yrs). Pros: -Cribs are availablec*see cons -Rooms were clean -Beach was nice -Not overcrowded, rarely couldn't get seating where we wanted -Food was good overall -Staff were awesome overall, very friendly and professional/helpful -High chairs were generally available, only once did we have an issue getting two at a specialty restaurant -Most events end fairly early, great for families -Adults [... read more] have access to Breathless next door, we did not go but for those with older children it may be nice to get away. Very short walk away, almost wandered into it by accident. -The resort overall was very clean Cons: -The crib mattresses need to be replaced. They are flat/breaking. Instead they pad it up with a blanket and a top sheet. We ended up taking them out and wrapping the sheet better so that it didn't tangle up with the kids. -The rooms, while clean, could use some updating. Sliding doors that didn't work, caulking that needs to be redone (leaking shower into the room, fixed with a towel for example), hinges need to be removed and cleaned etc. -While room service was available, it was very hard to get a hold of them and then you have a fairly long wait (45-60 min is what it says). The wait wouldn't be much of an issue if it didn't take a long time to even get in contact with room service. We gave up trying. -Our first floor sliding door lock was barely attached. -Swim ups aren't really swim up. They are swim close? Check the pic to see what I mean. Other: -Currently constructions going on the lot next door, opposite side of breathless. Sliding doors kept the noise out, but wasn't the nicest for sitting outside while the kids napped. Might be best to get a room not on that side for the time being. Final thoughts: I think the cons overall are pretty minor things that don't detract from the place as a whole too much. I would recommend it to families without hesitation.

Dreams Cozumel Cape Resort and Spa: Fantastic Resort!!!

From the moment we stepped onto the grounds we were met with helpful and friendly staff that went above and beyond. Check-in was fast and we only had to wait an hour or so for our room but were able to use all resort amenities while waiting. We were blown away when we stepped inside our room and saw how beautiful and spacious it was! The bathroom was clean and had a nice supply of shampoo, conditioner, moisturizers etc. We had the best sleeps ever as the bed was so comfortable!! The resor [... read more]t appeared well designed and it seemed even the “non-oceanview” rooms had at least a partial view of the ocean. Great variety of food, from morning to night as you can choose from three resorts! Bourdeaux at Secrets ended up being our favourite dinner spot, but all others were fantastic. Try the pizza at the Pizzeria for lunch or the Sky Bar for an evening cocktail! There are numerous pools throughout the three resorts that you can use as a Dreams guest. By day seven we were still discovering new restaurants and pools. We didn’t have problems finding beach loungers as we were patient and looked for ones that people had vacated and left their towels behind. That part was a bit frustrating. But we figured, hey, we’re on vacation, the sun is shining and we have a margarita in hand. Great snorkeling right off the beach with snorkeling gear easily available onsite (and included!). We saw so many amazing fish right off the beach and around the pier. Bring water shoes as the shoreline does have some coral and makes entering the water in some spots a bit challenging. For even more amazing snorkeling book an excursion out to the coral reefs. Truly spectacular!

Dreams Onyx Resort and Spa: Preferred Club not worth it for families

Very clean, a bit dated, food was ‘okay’ nothing to write home about. Bluewater Steak House was meh, Spice teppanyaki was fun, food was good, Barefoot Grill on the beach had great burgers for lunch and then the buffet had a decent assortment of foods for everyone. We stayed in a Preferred Club two Queen room with two kiddos (7&9). Room was clean and a bit run down. Preferred Club for families is a waste of money in our opinion. The PC pool area for families was a section of swim up rooms, about two dozen loungers and faced construction of a new hotel. The PC area to eat breakfast and lunch was FREEZING, had curtains to block you from seeing out and no outside seating (we always just sat at buffet). If you are adults and get PC, definitely see the value but definitely not for families. Activities were great for kids around pool area during the day, night kids disco where shows are held are geared for toddler-age 5/6 and that’s at 8. The night show starts at 9 and our faves were the fire show (incredible), white party (meh) and The Greatest Showman was also good! All other pools in middle of resort were good but cold, like freezing! Water Park you have to be 4’5 to order the black slides and the white drop slide, they had one slide for Littles. No chairs in the water park area just around the outside of the park (you couldn’t see in). Taco truck right outside the water park apparently was amazing and opens at 3 so we never made it over! It’s a 45 min cab ride over from airport and close to the end of the resorts. Beach was nice, darker sand and rougher water than Bavaro Beach where we normally stay.

Miss this resort already. I swim many times per day. Very clean, beautiful, very good food, friendly staff. Wi-Fi is everywhere with good speed. We went to Breathless resort few times ( adults only) for breakfast and lunch. Food the same, as good as at the Onyx. Will come again.

Dreams Cozumel Cape Resort and Spa: Dream’s Cozumel

Beautiful beaches, well taken care of property, friendly staff that are happy, beautiful spa. Dreams is the better property out of 3 resorts. Secrets and Sunscape were a little tired and need some updates. The restaurants were okay, 2 Asian restaurants being best quality food out of the a la carte restaurants.
