Holiday Inn Port of Miami: Perfect location

We were pleasantly surprised with our hotel room and the hotel itself. It is in a perfect location for a pre cruise stop. The staff at front desk were very friendly and room while basic was larger than expected.

Catalonia Montego Bay: Good time at this resort!

The hotel is your average Holiday Inn. I've been too several all inclusive resorts for the same price and received much better service, accommodations and food. Regardless, we still made the best out of our vacation. Only a handful of employees seemed happy to be working there. Our room was spacious but we had a lot of ants and some type of wood mites. Our housekeeping lady was amazing!! She always created such beautiful towel sculptures for my kids to admire!! That alone made the value of our vacation worth it!! I would recommend this resort, just don't expect all the bells and whistles!!

Holiday Inn Resort Aruba: Great Vacation

The rooms were clean and well kept and staff were very friendly. The beach was great. The only thing I would complain about is that the buffet was not open for lunch because as we were told by staff that the hotel did not have enough people staying there at this time. Also at the main restaurant there we some items you had to pay for, just seems strange since we paid for all inclusive. Same menu for seven day which got a little boring.

Holiday Inn Resort Los Cabos: Relaxing.. Beachfront pointless

OK overall, food was OK, bars all shut down by 12. Beach pretty much useless and unswimmable. If you are going to the Baja for further or nightlife.. Better off staying in Cabo San Lucas as San Jose Del Cabo is super sleepy. Staff very friendly

Holiday Inn Resort Los Cabos: Amazing Resort- We were very pleased with our room

This hotel is well maintained and staff are helpful and friendly no matter your concern. Food was very tastefully presented and we enjoyed every meal to its fullest. Grounds are very enjoyable to just relax in or wonder around -

Four Points by Sheraton Windsor Downtown: Comfortable with Helpful staff.

I enjoyed staying here and being able to walk to Winsdor Castle. The hotel was cofortabel and clean, I enjoyed my stay very much. The breakfast offered some nice choices, and I didn't find the hotel noisy or overcrowded.

Catalonia Montego Bay: Return customer!

This is my second visit to HI. There was construction going on in the main building but we were never affected. The service was amazing and bar staff made sure your ice never melted. The resort does not have a nightlife so for 2 young females some of our nights were quiet. I would encourage booking excursions for the beginning of the week and party thurs-sat. Rooms were always tidy and neat. I even dropped a necklace and the room keeper left me a note and said she found it on the floor. Front de [... read more]sk was always helpful. Booking excursions, dinner and massage were simple and fast. Beach was always kept clean and we never went without a chair. Lifeguards would even fetch a chair if there wasn't one close. Food was amazing, definitely try the Japonese. It is worth it to leave the resort because you are so close to everything.

Catalonia Montego Bay: Our favourite resort

This was our third stay at Sunspree. We love everything about it. The several small beaches allow a more relaxed visit and everything is close at hand. We particularly love the authenticity of the Jamaican cuisine. The staff were helpful and friendly. We will return for sure.

Catalonia Montego Bay: Great 3 star Resort

I didn't go in with high expectations because I knew it was a 3 star hotel. The service was great. Very friendly and courteous staff. The room was nice and AC was working amazing (slightly loud but rather that then a hot room) beach was lovely. The addition of the little island was definitely a bonus. Loved the Jerk Hut. The a la care restaurants were great. Loved the Japanese one. Very entertaining and great food. Obviously there were some downsides but nothing to ruin a vacation. The buffet food was hit or miss. The omlette station was delicious. The food at the grill was so so. The washrooms in the rooms were on the small size. You could fit only one person at a time. A few days before we left they started some renovations so you can hear construction and they had to change the location of some of the meals. Overall I know there are nicer resorts in Jamaica but for the price we paid of $950 for a superior room we got an great vacation. Definitely recommend for families.

Sunscape Puerto Vallarta: Holiday Inn Resort Puerto Vallarta

Had a great stay on this resort. The biggest problem was the eating areas are not air conditioned . The people very nice and had a good time . Bratenders at the lobby bar are amazing watching them work in the heat and deleivering top notch service to all the travlers was great. Close to the buses stops heading into dt so its great. Over all i would go back because we got a great deal on this place.

Waikiki Beachcomber by Outrigger: Another wonderful stay

From the moment I checked arrived at the hotel until I left everything was perfect. I had requested a room on the second floor facing Kalakaua Avenue and it was waiting for me. Sophie on the front desk welcomed me as a returning guest. She had the true aloha spirit. My housekeeper (I had three during the week) took care to ensure my room was clean and well stocked and one even had a few minor things fixed which I hadn't even thought about. I find this hotel is perfect - across from the beach, a Cheesecake Factory, and there is a Macy's downstairs. I would return to this hotel if I am ever on Oahu again. The aloho spirit is alive and well there.

Sunscape Puerto Vallarta: Great resort for the price

This hotel was clean and the grounds were beautiful and well kept. Staff was very friendly and did a great job. Good was better then other resorts if stayed at but there still were days where it was just eatable and I'm far from being a picky eater. Rooms were clean everything worked. This is I consider a 3.5 star resort which I prefer because it's smaller which allows you to get to know other guests and staff , and more comfortable vacation then I giant 5 star with 1000 rooms where everything i [... read more]s to perfect looking. Sunscape Puerto Vallarta: Needs some upgrading but very clean.

Grounds very well kept, needs upgrading, great location the food was very good except need more variety as the dinners were close to the same at nite time.The staff were very friendly and helpful. We asked for a king size bed but ended up with 2 double beds--a little small for 2 people.

Holiday Inn Cancun Arenas: Not too bad

The resort,people and food were really good.The only problem we had with this place was the beach or should I say lack of. The beach was very small and water was very dirty and nowhere to swim. Other than that it wasent too bad.

Holiday Inn at Universal: Great deal on airline ticket and hotel

Overall it was not bad. I got a good package deal on hotel+air fair. Tripcentral agents very cooperative and responsive all the way, even on phone. I even had to call them 4:00 AM in the morning and was able to talk to a live person. But the fact that they have a a live agent to deal with you alone makes them stand out from the rest. Hover, it was disappointing that the hotel did not provide a free shuttle from the airport (It was Holiday Inn near Universal). I had to find/book a rental car rig [... read more]ht from the baggage claim (which was also not bad, but I'll write about that elsewhere). The hotel was moderately OK. Hallways were not very clean. Room had a microwave and small fridge (good, good). Phone calls were outrageous expensive. I was charge $20 for 3 calls within US/Canada, totally ~10 min.

Waikiki Beachcomber by Outrigger: Holiday Inn Waikiki Beachcomber

Our vacation spent at the Holiday Inn Waikiki Beachcomber was very enjoyable. The hotel was centrally located to everything be it shopping, the beach, restaurants, buses and many attractions you could walk to. I would definitely stay at this hotel again when visiting Hawaii./

Catalonia Montego Bay: Breathtaking

In a word – stunning! One of the most beautiful resorts we have ever stayed at. For us we felt like we were in Santorini Greece minus the blue domes. Pros • Not very busy • Friendly staff • Food • Beautiful location and building • Free Wifi (slow but good enough to check in) • Air transat rep was excellent and always available • Very clean • Bar fridge and coffee in the room • Good swimming beach To be Aware of: • Be prepared to tip a lot, ATM is on location • Smoking is [... read more] allowed anywhere on the resort even the restaurants • Be prepared for lots of stairs or be willing to wait for a pick-up • Communication on events or activities is limited- could be improved upon as we missed out on several special events and food servings • Bring bug spray and itch treatment • Lounge chairs hard to sit on as don’t put out cushions • Some of higher end drinks are an up charge such as spiced rum • Cannot drink the tap water We would return to this resort again, we were very happy with the experience.

Catalonia Montego Bay: Family resort

The rooms were clean minus the cockroach I found. The food was good but if you are looking for an adult oriented getaway, this resort is not for you. Lots of kids running around. Our plane was delayed two hours in Toronto and nothing was offered by Air Transat to compensate for this inconvenience. Then we had to wait for three hours for a room at resort only to find out we couldn't get a room with two beds, another disappointment.

Sunscape Puerto Vallarta: Clean resort with minimal facilities, food

We spent 8 days here & though nothing was terrible, nor was hardly anything good. Ok, the Mexican restaurant meal I had the one night I was able to make a reservation was amazing. But I woke up early (for me, it IS vacation!) to get down to the reservation desk for a restaurant that evening several times to find out that it was fully reserved. That desk is open 9-11, and I averaged a respectable 10-10:30am. We made it a total of once to the italian & once to the mexican. The night I finally scor [... read more]ed the last Mexican seating, when I got there there were only 4 tables filled including me! The rest of the restaurant was reserved for potential imaginary guests I guess. The beer was ok, the Tequila was the same old $5/gallon nail polish remover & a beefeater gin (a well drink anywhere I frequent) was 70 pesos! The gin they fed us had never seen a juniper plant, and the beer was as most 1/2 strength Corona light. We never could get a towel, even at 11am, a sure sign of poor priorities for a hotel, especially one with the Holiday Inn brand. Towels cost, what $1CDN wholesale? And to get a proper lounge chair we had to steal other people's, though it was easy enough when we found out that no one ever came back to their chairs all day anyways. I highly recommend that if you see a dollar pair of sandals, towels & maybe an ancient paperback novel on the chairs under the thatched shade spots; wait 10 minutes, if they are not there, just claim it for yourselves. It's the only way this place works. Take up the vulture mentality & scavenge. Hotel room was quite nice, construction was loud & hammering in pilings all day, and room service had to be called for, only getting it 3 times in 8 days. And we tipped generously the first day. So don't bother thinking that will help. Our friends at Las Palmas had a much more relaxed time, though their food choices were even more limited than ours. At least seats were everywhere, beer was good & better location. Sorry Holiday Inn, but you've turned me off All Inclusive for life. But I thank you. Vacation life will be so much better from here on in.
