Jewel Grande Resort and Spa: Very nice resort

Grounds were very nice. Too many stairs, our second last day our granddaughter sprained her ankle we had to have a wheelchair for her not very accessible. Pools were nice but freezing. My daughter had a flood in her room they were very helpful getting things done. Buffet was closed 3 nights I believe I think that's a bit much. A large convention had come in and I think a lot of the attention went to them. Beach was small, issue with seaweed but they were constantly raking the beach. Food was delicious, cafe very nice. Gym nice, lots of classes. Problems with key, had to have them reprogrammed between 3 rooms 4 times last time still didn't work very frustrating.

Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana: A lot to be desired...

Grounds - the grounds are new and immature however they are nice. They have a few design flaws that sadly workers dig out daily - sands blow into pathways daily and they have to shovel them out by wheelbarrows daily. The pools are not heated, warmer in the ziva side but refreshing on a long hot day. The hot tub on the zilara side is 104 easy, the rest are cooler. The beach is host to much debris and broken glass and coral. The water is nice just not very clear as in pictures. It was unde [... read more]r a tropical depression whilst we were there so that could be why. Club areas and bars serve better drinks at all times. Chair reserving seems to be an issue at times although it's not very busy. Food - the foods in the buffet are cold most of the times. Anything you have cooked for you seems slightly underdone. It appears as though their grills are not hot enough. It takes time to even fry off eggs. Best bets are to hit the club places for hot breakfast and lunches. Supper at a la cartes were delicious at all times. Thankfully they would accommodate additional plates if you're hungry. Best by far was Tempest followed by the Italian. Rooms - the rooms are new and for the most part nice. The housekeeping can be slow at times and not 100%. Nothing too terrible but not the standards I would expect in club services. Minibar could be filled hit or miss, and turn down never happened. The air conditioning kept resetting to above 72 degrees which was too hot at night. Ceiling fan was one notch short of hurricane eons which I enjoyed actually. Pretty quiet for the most part. General - there's little to do here so if you're searching for relaxation you've found it. There's a water park that as adults had a blast in. If you're not following the entertainment staff you might be bored. It's a nice hotel, it's under a 5 star for service standards maybe in time they'll work their glitches out.

Sanctuary Cap Cana Luxury Collection Adults Resort: Exceptional resort

We were extremely happy with this resort, the food was great at all restaurants, the grounds were constantly being maintained and were in great condition and the staff was always friendly and helpful. I especially enjoyed the activities and Jefferson (aka coca cola) he made the beach volleyball, waterpolo and evening entertainment my favorite part of the stay. We found that all food servers were great but Edward really stood out as our favorite because of his kind personality. Emilio was a great help with getting us checked in/out and making sure dinner reservations were made to the preferred restaurant for each night. We found the drinks good and were happy with the quality of the liquor used. The private beach was small but a good size for the resort and sand was great with the exception of the odd piece of coral.

Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana: Gorgeous resort but some improvements needed

Hotel layout/design: Above average. Absolutely stunning design features with an easy to navigate layout. Very spacious guest rooms. Service: Average to below average. Very long wait times at restaurants (one night was over three hours for dinner). Slow bar service. I know to expect “Caribbean time” but the service was very disappointing, especially for the five-star design accommodations. Food & Drink: WAY above average. Pools/Waterpark: infinity pool was a beautiful design but pool temp was on the cool side. Ziva’s (the sister family resort next door) has a much nicer pool layout and a fun waterpark Beach: we had very windy weather on our trip so I think the beach would be nice if the sand would stay put. All the soft top layer of sand ended up blowing into the resort leaving a very rocky beachfront and rough waters so we didn’t get to experience much of it! Night shows: didn’t go to all but most were mediocre. However, the Michael Jackson show was very impressive! The impersonator was spot on and the back up dancers were very talented. Gym: AMAZING!!! Better than the gym I work out at home! I think because of this, the resort attracts a lot of fitness buffs so it was busier than I would expect at a resort but plenty of equipment available so minimal wait times. Spa: unfortunately was not yet operational on our trip.

Dreams Rose Hall: Beautiful 5 star resort

The Hilton Rose Hall is a beautiful family, couple and friends resort. They have amazing staffs and everyone is so kind and attentive. The food was delicious and so was the entertainment at night. I have zero complains about this resort ; my friend and I really enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Rose Hall.

Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana: Great resort with growing pains

The hotel is lovely but there are areas that still seem to be under construction or sloppily/hastily put together (particularly in the rooms). In El Mercado, we found a bunch of screws at eye level of one of the dining tables which my 4 year old found and luckily we caught before she could get hurt. While dining in Noodle and Thread, water fell on me from the pipes on the ceiling. In general I found the staff to be extremely friendly but not particularly concerned with efficiency of service. [... read more] No hustle, if you know what I mean. Although, there were a handful of staff that I found to be extremely professional and polished with their service, as well as warm and friendly. The pool area was really great and fun for my daughter but again the service was slow. Food was great but disappointing as I expected it to be exceptional given the status of the resort. I found it offensive that the cabanas were only available to a certain level of guest otherwise $99 USD per day was required. That is ludicrous and way too expensive. I have stayed at 5 star resorts and have never encountered this before. Given the cost of this resort, it is my opinion that butler service should be complimentary and all of the amenities should be free of charge (apart from services like massage for instance). Wyndham Alltra Playa del Carmen: Nice not great.

First trip away, started off with a 3 hour delay with no food voucher provided. We were tired and hungry. Went to take a shower and there no hot water. We were told to let the water run for 20 mins first and then it trinkels out! After that, it did get warmer. We were celebrating a 50th BDay so I asked for something special in the room but nothing was done. Unfortunately. Also no drink to greet you when you arrive. But that’s no big deal. I thought I upgraded to ocean view but found out that I only got ocean view Partial view from the neighbours balcony ( when they weren’t sitting there)! Breakfast was very good at the buffet but the dinner wasn’t great at all. Very cold. The other restaurants were better (Mexican, Brazian and Italian). The burger place was great! You won’t be hungry. The shoreline wasn’t good. Lots of rocks and old sand bags but had nice views. If you want to swim, you have to walk a bit on the beach infront of the other resorts. Even then, they had some rocks and sandbags in the water so you need to be careful. Drinks were good. Tho not much alcohol in them. Bartenders were always happy to serve. The main pool was nice and beautiful that it overlooks the ocean. Sometimes there was a very strong smell of rotten seaweed that really kills the mood. The nice thing is that 5ft Ave shopping strip is just up the road. Very convenient. Lots of security walking around. Pretty safe at the resort. Because of the buffet, shoreline and cold and weak shower, I would say it was a 3.5 Star.

Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana: Luxurious Resort

Best overall experience we've ever had at all inclusive resort. All details have been well thought through. All facilities (gym, pool, tennis etc) are 1st class. Restaurants and food quality overall is excellent. Staff is very service dedicated, extremely friendly and motivated to make you feel welcome and well taken care.

Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana: Beautiful New Resort

It was such a privilege visiting the Hyatt Zilara, everything was so new and fresh and you could see they were trying really hard to please all guests. If you like a polished more upscale resort, you will enjoy this destination very much.

Hyatt Zilara Cancun: Awesome

Nicest place I've stayed. 9/10 Only complaints lack of beverage refills in room, lack of drink service to beach earlier in day. Everything was clean. Nice rooms. Amazing bed. The paint jobs in rooms bit sloppy for being "luxury". Everything could use improvements but overall amazing staff, food and grounds. Few small things could be tweaked but great stay for the value.

Jewel Paradise Cove: Relaxing and beautiful

We were in much need of some R &R. Paradise Cove gave us the luxury of chilling by the beach, snorkeling and other various water sports as well as off resort excursions. The menu changed daily with delicious selections. We found it clean and well kept with courteous staff there to help when needed. Highly recommend this resort if you are looking to chill. Sandals Dunn's River: Best Time EVER!!!

We were fortunate enough to spend 10 days at Jewel Dunn's River Resort. We loved everything about it! The food was good, the hotel was very clean, the staff were so incredibly friendly, the drinks were cold and it was close to some fun attractions. But, the best part was the incredible views this resort offers (ocean on one side and mountains on the other)! We enjoyed a couples massage and the massage therapists were amazing!!! Wyndham Alltra Playa del Carmen: Fun!!

This was our second visit as a family to Panama Jack resort. We love the resort and have enjoyed ourselves on both occasions. The food at the buffet is a nice surprise for an all inclusive. We were always well fed with tasty food choices. It’s all about the guacamole there!!! Activities throughout the day led by a friendly and accommodating staff. The grounds and public washroom facilities were always well maintained. The beach is not the best for swimming but a short walk will get you your ocean fill. The friendly staff the good food the feel good atmosphere we will go back!!!

Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana: A commendable resort, but not yet 5 stars

The resort is new, clean and spacious. The pool facilities are well organized. Most of the staff is friendly. Food is good; enough selection. Cocktails at the pool bar and coffee in the lobby snack bar are great! However, when we were there, the resort was not fully established as 5-stars in all aspects yet. The layout, the design/branding, the buildings and facilities are there, but still many areas to improve in terms of day-to-day operations and management. For example: - not all [... read more] the restaurants were open. Only a buffet and a French restaurant were in operation, but we could walk to Hyatt Ziva for other all-inclusive food options. - Front desk didn't have full staff; when we called front desk, most of the time no one picked up. - staff behind certain food stations of the buffet was inexperienced and slow in serving food. - no/slow/passive response to requests (e.g. we booked a double-bed room, but were given one with a king-size bed and a sofa bed. It was not ideal, but we accepted it. However, only the king-size bed came with a blanket. We talked to the housekeeping staff and to the front desk multiple times, asking for a second blanket for the sofa bed, but we didn’t get one. By the 4th night, we gave up asking for a blanket). Taking into consideration that it’s a new resort, not everything would be perfect. It’s still a commendable resort. We had a good time there.

Dreams Rose Hall: Worth every penny!

A group of 10 of us vacationed at this resort and had an amazing time. With a mix of adults, kids and babies, there was something for everyone and we truly all had the best time. The service, food and overall resort was impeccable! My husband and I’s last trip was our honeymoon at a Sandals and we can honestly say that the service and food at the Hilton was at par!

Sunscape Cancun Resort and Spa: Beautiful Resort!!!

I loved the Panama Jack Resort! It was the best vacation we had so far! Everything was great there, the food, room, beach and the service. We will defiantly try to come back to Panama Jack next year!!!

Dreams La Romana: Amazing resort!

We had a 10 night stay and were very satisfied with every aspect of the hotel. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by staff who are friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean throughout, and our room was spacious with everything that we needed. Breakfast was substantial, and suited all tastes. We would highly recommend a stay at this resort!

Jewel Grande Resort and Spa: Exceeded all Expectations

After spending one week at the Jewel Grande I am not sure I can think of a single thing to complain about. The room, pools and beach were all immaculate. The food was absolutely amazing! Usually after a week my family struggles with where to eat for the last night or two. On this trip we had trouble deciding which restaurant because we wanted to return to all of them. Dreams Rose Hall: Outstanding resort!!!!

We just recently got back from our vacation at the Hilton Rose hall resort in Jamaica Montego Bay. I cannot emphasize the outstanding service that we got from the people working at the resort. They were all extremely friendly and were always asking if we needed anything else or what they could do to make our stay better. The resort was clean and the food was amazing !!! I can’t describe the amazing time we had one of the best places I’ve visited to date!!!
