Sandals Ochi Beach Resort: Very nice resort

Pros: Well kept grounds, beautiful landscaping, great hotel room, comfortable bed with good quality linens. Many restaurants to pick for both buffet or a la carte dining. Cons: We stayed at the great house and we had to get the 'HOP' - the bus to go to the seaside. The buses would come every 10 minutes, no waiting time involved...but it would have been nice to just take a walk to the beach rather than bussing.

Sandals South Coast: Fantastic resort

Dining and staff were top-notch. Incredible customer service by all staff. No line-ups or waiting for food or drinks. The drive from the airport was an hour and a half which is quite long. The long drive was definitely worth it. If you like shopping this resort is likely not one for you as there is no shopping close by. Vendors do come on site twice a week with a good variety of stuff to buy. Sandals South Coast: So-so resort

Not exactly the Sandals quality we have come to expect! Food was good, employees nice -- but that's all. First of all we were told we may be moved further along because of "decorating" in the italian complex. Major demolition is more like it (some people weren't even told about"decorating") Lots of constant noise, beach detours, mud, unhappy guests. Certainly a misrepresentation. Not much value here for seasoned travellers. The alcohol "major top level brands" did not pan out. One type o [... read more]f beer, no high end vodka, gin nor tequila. Are we cutting corners here Sandals? Two restaurants were closing, the beach looks pretty in your advertising but, apart from the construction detours, there was mostly seaweed & rocks& mushy bottoms. I would rate this resort at below 4 star. We paid a premium to be here and as far as we can figure, we paid about $1500 more than comparable holidays

Sandals Negril: Great Honeymoon

Sandals Negril was an amazing spot - it not only met but 100% exceeded our expectations. The property, rooms, service, food and beach were spectacular. We thoroughly enjoyed our week there and will be back at some point. Perfect spot to celebrate a honeymoon or anniversary. Thanks again for making us feel at home.

Sandals South Coast: Awesome vaca!

This was our first time to a Sandals resort and we enjoyed every minute :) the main pool, water sports and food were amazing! We especially loved the tubing, sailing and paddle boards and used them daily! Thank you for a wonderful vaca!

Sandals Grande Antigua: Amazing Resort and Staff

Beautiful Grounds, very well maintained. Staff are Fantastic. Shemika at Travel & Loyalty was Amazing. Food Delicious. Girls at Bella Napoli were Fantastic. Beach is Great. Very clean and the water is gorgeous.

Sandals South Coast: Wonderful Whitehouse

My husband and I stayed at whitehouse from October 29-November 5 2016 for our 1st wedding anniversary... 1 word... Amazing! Yes there was construction but the staff and property made up for it 10 fold

Sandals Negril: Perfect Honeymoon Getaway!

I could not have asked for a better honeymoon with Sandals Negril. The staff were absolutely perfect-accommodating to all our needs, and the views were GORGEOUS! The food was to die for, each restaurant exceeding all of our expectations. I would highly recommend Sandals Negril if you're looking for a fun, laid back, safe, and exciting experience. We definitely will be back!

Sandals Royal Plantation: Vacation to remember

Amazing resort. Fantastic staff and service. Every detail looked after. Great food. Beautiful beach. Amazing entertainment. Butlers very attentive. There is nothing the staff at this resort won't do to help you make great memories and throughly enjoy your stay with no cares in the world

Sandals Grande Antigua: Great Resort with a few issues.....

All in all, a great resort. Staff very friendly and helpful. Just a few "downers".... 1 - water pressure in room VERY poor. Pressure from shower was like standing out in the rain... 2 - "Marios" & "Drunken Duck" restaurants claim to be "air conditioned", but not so much. Very uncomfortable eating when you are sweating. 3 - Not enough lounges by pool/beach for the amount of guests. After the 2nd day, we began to set our alarm for 6am, to get up  [... read more] reserve lounges with towels. If you simply went to the pool around 830-900, you didn't have a chance at getting chairs. 4 - Lastly, I realize they don't have control over Mother Nature, but crickets & tree frogs VERY loud all nite long !! Began around 5:45 pm and didn't stop until around 6am. A little difficult to sleep as they were very loud ! Other than that, a great time, great weather ( we had 45 mins. of rain one afternoon) Snorkeling was fun. Food was good.

Sandals Barbados: Lots of fun, great food, but not much local cuisine

We were on our honeymoon and stayed in one of the more affordable rooms. I was pleased that our room was close to the front of the resort (near the beach) although there is some construction going on still so we couldn't enjoy our ocean view balcony. Still, we had a blast. The guys at the boat rental place were fantastic - gave excellent sailing lessons on their hobiecats. The food was also fantastic (we had so many lobster tails... And the Indian resto is excellent), though I wish Sandals would [... read more] add more local delicacies (like flying fish!!) You have to go off resort to get the authentic stuff, which is a bit disappointing. That said, I'm splitting hairs here... We had a wonderful time and would go back any day. Barbados in particular is a beautiful country where the locals are very friendly and it is very safe to go out exploring on your own. And sea turtles! And green monkeys! Need I say more?

Sandals South Coast: Incredible First Anniversary Trip

This was an absolutely incredible resort. We loved that all the restaurants were together, the food was beyond exceptional, all the rooms overlooked the ocean, that the beach was five steps from our room, the pools were big, clean, and great swim up bars, loved activities in pool and gaining points, and the amazing staff that would bend over backwards for you! Sandals South Coast: What a wonderful place!

Amazing resort. We can't say enough about the staff. They all went over and above. Amazing food and restaurants. All waiters and waitresses asked about any food allergies,then they made suggestions and even altered the menu to accommodate. The only negative was the construction taking place on the Italian section.

Sandals Negril: Great beach!

Sandals Negril had amazing grounds and gardens, lovely and friendly staff! Nice beach, great offshore snorkelling on reefs. We thought there were too many photographers always trying to sell us pictures and invading our privacy. Food was great at some restaurants but not all.

Sandals Grenada: Can't wait to go back!

The resort was well laid out, the grounds were beautiful and clean. The scenery was gorgeous! Sprawling yet intimate. The food was high quality and all delicious! The rooms were extremely well appoited, brand new and modern. The beds were comfortable. The service and staff was amazing. Loved the 5 minute drive from the airport.

Sandals Royal Bahamian: Honeymoon cancelled

We didn't get to stay at Royal Bahamian as they closed down two weeks before we were to go there. We got to rebook at another Sandals. Maybe we will get the chance to go there one day. I can't comment on the resort so I'm not sure how it is.

Sandals Grenada: Must Needed Relaxation!

Sandals La Source is truely a gem! If you want to relax on vacation and eat fantastic food this is the place. Great staff, great service and incredible views of St. Georges and the peaks beyond. Truely an amazing vacation destination.

Sandals Grande Antigua: Amazing resort Sandals Grande Antigua

My husband & I spent 14 wonderful days in Sandals Grande Antigua. We were there August 6 to 20, 2016. We were checked into our room very quickly. They originally had us booked for the 3rd floor, but when I asked for a walkout room they showed us both rooms and we picked the walkout. The patio was bigger and had two lounge chairs with a round table in between them. And a rack to hang our wet bathing suits. The room was wonderful. Two sinks, a jacuzzi tub and a walk in shower. Lots of shelf an [... read more]d counter space. The room was always kept very clean by the housekeeping staff. The king size bed was comfortable. We had a fully stocked bar, including white and red wine, liquor, beer, juice, water and pop. The restaurants are all very good. I wasn't as keen on the Ok Coral, but my husband liked it. It's really a matter of personal preference. We ate at the Bayside restaurant several times. I would recommend the Chateaubriand or the lamb. The meat was cooked to perfection by Chef Kerry or Chef Dwayne. The appetizers and desserts were also delicious. There were different buffet theme days for lunch at the Bayside restaurant, again, very good food. Eleanor's has a la carte breakfast. Eggs Benedict and blueberry pancakes are amazing. You can even get them with sides of bacon, sausage or ham or all three! Also has Browns. The Eggs Benedict is quite filling. We ate at the Barefoot Grill for lunch. They have jerk chicken or pork, mild or helfire. The portions are generous. We had the steak and lobster for dinner and it was excellent. Mario's has a buffet breakfast. We were in there almost everyday for breakfast. The best thing about it was the chef who cooked our omelettes. Ronalyn was always smiling and has a great sense of humour. After a couple of days, she already remembered what we liked in our omelette. She recommended the use of pepper jack cheese in the omelette and she was right, we loved it. Desire was also one of the chefs who ensured the buffet food was kept full. Rosalyn and Desire made it worth going to Mario's. Rolrene and Asana were very good servers. Kimono's was entertaining and the food amazing. Chef Nathaniel and server Oydayne made our experience great. I suggest you try the Sake Cruise drink, it is refreshing and delicious, but can go down very quickly as you don't taste the booze in it. The main pool was fun. We have never had such good pool bar service. Celestine took our drink order soon after we got our lounge chairs by the pool. She was also quick to return to ask if we needed refills. LaToya was the bartender at the Caribbean pool. Between volleyball games she would set us up with shots, sometimes we picked, sometimes she surprised us. Celestine filled in as bartender when LaToya went for break. Both of these wonderful ladies made the best drinks! The entertainment staff got people involved in the games, flip cup, beer chugging, ring toss, name that tune, trivia, etc. and of course pool volleyball. Cheers to JoJo, Rakim and Antonio for making the volleyball and other games fun. The resort grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Fogging is done to keep the bugs away. The beach is beautiful with soft powdery white sand. The water was warm and clear. The only negative thing I can say is that the beach is public, so you have vendors coming up to ask if you want to buys various items or go on tours. A few pleasant "No, thank you" responses are accepted. We met a lot of very nice people from Britain, the Sates and our fellow Canadians. The resort staff are friendly and very nice. They go out of their way to make sure you have the best vacation. I want to say thank you to nurse Angelina and Dr. Stevens for taking such good care of me when I needed it. Shemika and the rest of the Loyalty Club staff are wonderful in helping you make the difficult decision of which Sandals to go to next. We would return to Sandals Grande Antigua, but we want to try other sandals before returning. We have been to Sandals Grenada, Whitehouse in Jamaica and the Royal Caribbean in Montego Bay. Each resort has so many positive aspects and very little negative. It all depends on personal preference.

Sandals Ochi Beach Resort: Fantastic resort and a great time!

We travelled to sandals Ochi in July 2016 (July 5-12) for our 10 year anniversary. We are a couple In our 30's who have travelled to many all inclusive resorts and this one was our best experience! The food was phenomenal everywhere. i wish we were there longer to have been able to try every single spot! Our faves: vista/sky terrace for dinner (lobster tails, scallops and oysters!), Le gourmand is the French restaurant on the hillside. But all in all, the restaurants were fantastic and we didn't have any complaints. The daytime entertainment was fun. If you don't want loud games, drinking and laughter, stay away from the main pool on the beachside. The hillside has the grand pool but you need to grab the 2 min shuttle to get there. Not a big deal but we just preferred the beach side as there were more options and our room was there. The evening entertainment was probably one of the things I wouldn't bother mentioning-it was kind of cheesy. A couple shows were good but overall I enjoyed the couples games they did before the main show more. The rooms were nice, clean. No complaints. Beds were comfortable. Some spots showed their age, like in the shower but it wasn't dirty and I didn't come there to hang out in my room. They offered turn down service every evening as well. The beach was small but again, clean. Can't go for a nice walk along the beach like you might in other carribean islands and at first this was a sore spot for us but as we relaxed into the second day we enjoyed the privacy of the beach and.not being harassed by vendors. We did a private tour to dunns river falls with Lorenzo. He is on the resort but he is his own company. He has a small boat near the beachside restaurants and he's there everyday. We were the first people at dunns river at 9am and there wasn't a single person on the falls. It was a beautiful experience. After that we took a car and went to the blue hole, which was a blast. So much fun there enjoying the crystal clear fresh waters. Overall we loved that day trip. They offered us a sunset catamaran cruise on the last day we were there (it's just how it worked out for space) and we were completely rained out. The only drop of rain all week and it came down all. Day. Long! We still made the best of it and enjoyed our day under the beach bar and playing pool, making new friends :) I would definitely return to this resort and plan to book another sandals holiday the next time me and my husband can get in a romantic getaway:)

Sandals Royal Bahamian: Excellent all around

Had an amazing time staying at the sandals royal Bahamian. The rooms are excellent, clean with unparalleled views of the ocean. The service and food was excellent as well. Would highly recommend this resort!
