Truly Paradise.

My boyfriend and I came to this resort in hopes of escaping the reality of the crazy Toronto life and to relax for a week. It was the greatest week of our lives. Thank you for making this so special. We will absolutely be returning in the near future.

Fantastic resort

From the moment we arrived we and saw the view of the ocean and pool from the other side of the lobby we knew we where in Paradise!! A special thanks to the amazing staff starting with the waitresses YALIENNY,LLENMA, YLENIA They understood and spoke English well and offered excellent service. We Loved David who supplied our room with cold beverages every morning and servedlunch at the Royal Beach daily. He is a very funny and cheerful man. We loved joking around with him. Special thanks to the life guard YAILEN she is a lovely friendly happy sweet young lady! Saving the Best for last we are greatful for the special service provided by two of the trolly drivers. ANIBAL and ****LEANDRO We can not say enough good things about this LEANDRO+ Make sure you ask for him when you arrive as he will take great care of you!!! The Resort was great but the staff make it! Another Wonderful Holiday

This was our second enjoyable vacation at the Paradisus and we have really discovered something special here. The beautiful grounds and the accomodations are always being cared for and improved by the staff. The customer service is very friendly and thoughtful. We liked the variety of quality foods and food service offered at the main dining hall and the a la carte restaurants. Swimming and walking the beach was great as was swimming in the nice clean big pool. Internet service was reliable and  [... read more]the daily and evening entertainment was very good. Our trip highlights included a wonderful wedding destination ceremony and dinner at the Royal Service beach and outdoor dining area as well as hearing a heart-warming opera duet perform arias accompanied by a lovely piano player in the main lobby one hot and breezy sunny morning. Birds are chirping everywhere and the vacationers keep coming back for more. Many happy holidayers we spoke to have made this their choice destination 10-20 times...Wow! We understand why.

Wonderful resort

This resort is truly heaven on earth. From the pool to the beach to entertainement and food and even the room!! It is amazing. I went alone and didn't feel bored. People are so nice and respectful. And It is a safe place. You will not regret staying there and I am going back soon. Must try - Japanese restaurant :)! It is worth the money.

Great Vacation

Hotel was beautiful. Grounds were well maintained, easy to get around. Food was the best Ive had in Cuba (ive been to Cuba 12 times). Resort attracts older crowd mostly. Retirees, couples. Very quiet, classy, relaxing. The only negative comment I have is the rooms. We were ion block 40. Rooms are in MAJOR need of renovations. They are old, warn out.

Great Resort

This was our first trip to Cuba and I have to say it far exceeded our expectations, We will definitely be going back ! We did the Jeep tour which I highly recommend. I have no complaints at all about this resort. Room was great, bed very comfortable.

Great week!

This was our first visit to Cuba and we were pleasantly surprised. The resort is beautiful. Our room was clean and in excellent condition. The bathroom was newly renovated. The staff were friendly and helpful. The beach was gorgeous. It is windy so fun waves to play in but not for you if you want calm water. The food was better than expected. Not really 5 star but enjoyable and lots of variety. Skip the snorkeling tour if the wind is up - the waves are too much and the current at the second  [... read more]stop is ridiculous. Saw a few tropical fish but nothing big to see.

Good resort

This hotel is very clean and spacious. We were not sure going to Cuba again because we have not enjoyed ourselves any other time we have gone. The food was not bad here:). The hospitality at this resort was top notch I couldn't ask for better service it was incredible. This was by far the best trip we had in Cuba

Great beach, outdated resort.

Room was fine, large, nice bathroom renovation. Resort common areas need some TLC. Beach was fantastic. Food was a disappointment, and we tried to keep our expectations low. Service was very good in some respects, lacking in others.

Awesome Resort!!

My wife and I recently returned from this 5-star resort! It was our first time to Cuba! I can't say enough about how perfect the 7 days went. Right from the Trip Central Rep-Bev- right through to the flight and coach to the Hotel! The resort lived up to its 5 star rating. The staff were so nice as we found all the Cuban people we met! Food was plentiful, creative and very palatable! Nightly entertainment and grounds were awesome! We will definitely be returning again-hopefully sooner than later.

Perfect....Almost...

Stunning site, layout of grounds with generous views of the ocean, excellent landscaping and planting, lovely rooms and fabulous lobby with the lush water garden theme. Lovely staff throughout. But...the food and bar quality didn't match. We've stayed in other 3-to-5 star resorts, and I'd put this food and bar quality in the lower of that range. We tried the Royal Service one night and it hit the mark as promised. The spa was great, a gorgeous oasis in a really lovely setting. 2nd visit to the Paradisus in Holguin!

We returned to the Paradisus in Holguin for the 2nd time and we continue to 'rave' about the resort! The resort offers everything that is important to us - delicious food at the several restaurants/buffet, wonderful service by the staff in each dining area, the rooms are very comfortable, and the pool, beach are lovely! We met up with friends who also returned, and truly enjoyed their company in this gorgeous resort! We also met so many friendly people from other countries, and we all shared a [... read more] similar viewpoint of the Paradisus! We plan to return next year, and will anticipate another fantastic stay at the Paradisus!

Beautiful resort

Grounds were lush. Plenty of chairs and lots of spaces in shade. Enjoyed buffet and all Alacartes Lovely tiled upgraded bathroom. Comfy bed. Staff were friendly and helpful. I look forward to going back.

Very good scenic resort

This was our 3rd trip to Paradisus , and we liked the landscape, grounds , general hotel lobby area as much as ever. Most of all we once again enjoyed the friendliness and excellent service of the staff . We liked the small salad bar that is now set up for lunch at the Ocean Bar plus a reg. menu. Enjoyed the pig roast a lot which due to weather had to come into the Buffet Restaurant. One negative that surprised us: Out of 7 nights there we ended up seeing 3 shows that are actually regula [... read more]rly scheduled for 9:30 p.m. every night. The beach party was understandably cancelled due to weather and replaced by "international" ( not the least bit international ). The other nights nice music started at 7 p.m. but carried on as BAND - female and other. Instead of a program we had a band for 3 nights, that was not as before and certainly not as advertised. Never even saw one Cuban or Caribbean dance show- too bad !

Best of Cuba

We have been to this resort twice! Something we never do, always looking for new things, but really loved this place. We upgraded to a cabin when we arrived this time and it was fantastic with an ocean view from our bed, private deck, near the pool and great outdoor shower! The entertainment wasn’t as good as we expected and unfortunately we had some cloudy and rainy days, but can’t blame them! We especially like that you can snorkel to corral right at the beach without having to book a [... read more] outing. Having been to 5 resorts 4+ stars in cuba, this is our favourite so far.

Great resort

Food is very good ,but overall its the staff who make the this place a paridise,cant name all of them ,but special thanks to Rolando! Its our 4 time there and looking foward to go back agian.Very relaxing cause its adult only.

Beautiful Resort

Great place to stay. People were wonderful, resort was very clean. Food was fine, workers' were very friendly and helpful. Beach was beautiful and pool was amazing. Service was all top notch and I would go back in a heartbeat.

Wonderful accomodations!

Dining was excellent. The Ala carted were over the top. Our room was spacious, and clean and the hospitality was great. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone. I really enjoyed my stay in holguin.

WOW !!!

Third visit this time spent in Royal Section simply amazing. I can't say enough about the staff. My mother was with us for this trip and she was staying on the regular side, never had any problem having a cart go pick her up as she has difficulty walking for long periods. Rooms were clean, mini bar filled every day. Just an excellent vacation.

Best in Holguin area

Delightful stay in a well maintained resort with very pleasant grounds, large clean rooms and very responsive staff. What I liked best was how peaceful it was there - no blaring entertainment around the pool, and very good live music at lunch (beach restaurant) and dinner in the lobby area. At night the entertainment can be heard in the closest rooms until about 11 so if you don't like that, get a room away from the lobby.
