Awesome beach!

Room: The room was dated, had some mold on the couch cushions, had a leaky bath tub. One night we came home to a leaky ceiling, however, it was fixed quickly (once the staff understood what we were saying to them). The mini fridge was great. If you left a dollar in it everyday it would get restocked with whatever you wanted (leave a note). We upgraded to a ocean view room. The buildings were getting run down. Food: We opted to eat at the buffet everynight. The food choices were good, especially when you went to the grill ( there was something different every night). Try the crepes, they were delicious! Beach: The beach was amazing!! The white sand went out as far as you could touch in the water! The beach was clean (no garbage laying around). One end of the beach was busier than the other. The drink lines were not long at the non busy end. Each morning a gentleman would meet you at the walkway and would sweep your lounger off once you found your spot for the day (huts were limited so get there early). The beach washrooms were not clean and the door did not lock. Entertainment: We only attempted two shows. One was the Michael Jackson which was pretty good. The other was Grease which we left within the first 10 mins. Overall we really enjoyed our vacation. If we wanted to go on another inexpensive vacation we would go back!

Exellent value and super resort

A very large resort, got good exercise just to walk between restaurants room and beach. One of the best beaches anywhere in the carribean. The food was average, often ran out of primary food and had to serve alternatives, never the less always plenty to choose from. The staff was super friendly and accommodated every wish we had.

Great value resort

The staff were very friendly and the pool and beach areas were amazing! The food could have been a bit better, but was not terrible. The rooms were clean, but we found them very dark. One thing we did not like was having to leave the resort to go to the disco. We only went once as a result. Overall had a great time!

BIG HUGE RESORT

The Husa was a lovely place, great grounds, the room was big and clean, the A la Carte's were also very nice. The unfortunate thing is I found the food variety was lacking, and not terribly good. The pasta station was always a huge line up, you'd have to be prepared to wait quite a while for it was not staffed appropriately. I've been to Cuba a few times ,different resort, It's not my intention to return to this one again

Great time at Husa Cayo Santa Maria

We spend a week last November at Husa Cayo Santa Maria and had a great time there. Everything was amazing, including the weather and there was nothing to spoil our vacation. Rooms, Personnel, Food - everything was very good. Wish to go back one day.

Good for the money

Loved the beach and pools. The value was really good for the time we went. Food was acceptable. The rooms were clean and tidy.....never really in them except to sleep ( I don't need marble and granite or couches with a bar in my room). Some of the staff could be a little more friendly and inviting.

Great resort and Island!

It was a very beautiful Resort, everything spotlessly clean! Staff were very friendly and always helpful! Beautiful beaches with lots of chairs and of course the wonderful beach bar and grill very handy!

Amazing Beach

The weather and beach was truly amazing. Lots of chairs to sit on so we didn't need to come early to reserve a spot. Rooms spacious and clean. I recommend trying to get villas 26-29 as they are the closest to everything... and definitely try getting the third floor for the view. The biggest negative about this resort is the food. Buffet is not good. However, the grill is quite good, with fresh meat grilled while you wait with lots of choice. Better than before

The grounds of the hotel were beautiful and well kept, beach was spotless (although water was to wavy some days). The only down side to this trip was the food, which should be expected. Overall quite satisfied.
