Secrets Aura Cozumel: Fun in the Sun!

Went to Secrets Aura Cozumel with another couple...all in our 50's. We all really liked the resort. Loved the slides, the staff, the pools, the use of Sunscape next door, the food was quite good and room service was excellent. Staff served you wherever you were...at the beach, playing ping pong, in the pool, out of the pool. Food and drinks were plentiful everywhere you went. Bordeaux was the best restaurant...get the beef tenderloin or the lamb. A couple of really nice touches like the se [... read more]rvice, and top shelf drinks make this resort worth the extra $$. The SkyBar is a great place to meet for a before dinner sunset cocktail, or a sushi app. Great drinks and atmosphere. Had a pool room that had a slide down into the swim up bar....How convenient and fun! The only negative comment I would have would be that the resort itself is starting to show a little wear and tear and the rooms could use a refurbishing with paint and some new furniture....the beds were very comfy though. The beach is rocky to get in but the snorkeling is fabulous right near the pier. I would definitely return to Secrets Aura Cozumel.

Grand Park Royal Cozumel: Awesome resort!!

We had a great trip to Grand Park in Cozumel, the resort is beautiful, the staff were absolutely amazing, very friendly. The la Cartes were excellent, the waiters that work there were hilarious, we found the food was very good, could of been warmer. The bar at the infinity pool was awesome the 2 girls that waitress there were sweet hearts, brought us drinks without waiting or asking, every day we went, they gave us hugs and kissed us on cheek. Grand Park Royal Cozumel: Clean accommodations, great staff

My wife and I visited the resort for a week on the last week of February 2019 and loved the resort. The rooms were very clean and through out the resort. The website for the resort stated pants and long sleeves shirt for the A la carte for men. Not the case, shorts, collar shirt and closed toes shoes were required. We found the food and coffee was not hot every time we for breakfast and lunch, it was warm. The coffee shop had very good and hot coffee. A good variety of food and would be excellen [... read more]t if it was hot. Friends of ours had kids and it had a kids sitting area which the parents loved. The other thing is you could walk off the resort onto the street and feel safe in the day time. We took several taxis to downtown Cozumel to the flee markets and found a souvenirs paradise. All made in Mexico. Perfect place for Scuba divers. The down side is the beach space was limited and only one type of whiskey (Jack Daniels) at the bars. On the list to visit again next yearMore

Allegro Cozumel: A little disappointed.

The hotel was kept very clean. The rooms were very small. The pool and beach were nice, although the smokers used the sand as their ashtray, which I found pretty disgusting. The food was not good at all, it was always cold, even if they just refilled a tray of something, it was cold. The staff was very friendly. They should have more than one person cooking eggs at the breakfast buffet, I felt sorry for the lady that had to cook for so many people, the resort was very full. There was also only 1 [... read more] bartender at the beach/pool bar, there was a line up most of the time. I am sorry to say I would never return to this resort because of the food. It is certainly not a 4*, I would say it is more like a 3-3 1/2*.

Very very clean friendly staff close to all the venues great snack bars and coffee shop and nice pools and sitting areas small beach but very nice and clean walk ways with lots of lightning for nighttime walking la carte meals were great dinning room meals were cold

El Cozumeleno Beach: Great place to relax

Safe place to travel.with all the Madness in the world,good to know a little piece of heaven.Considering it was Donna's first flight,first Holiday.Many first were shared and enjoyed..The trip central staff are number ONE !!!! Thanks again.Can hardly wait to do it all over next year !!!

Allegro Cozumel: A hidden gem

This resort is getting better everytime we go back love the updates . Its a smaller resort but what it lacks in grand lobbies etc it makes up with cleanliness great food and amazing staff not to mention amazing diving right on the resort some of the best in the world.

Allegro Cozumel: Nice place but food was lacking

Had a nice stay at Allegro Cozumel. Food was the only somewhat disappointing part. The Italian restaurant was WORSE than the buffet dinner so we regretted booking it. The oriental restaurant was the only really good food we had all week and it was so much fun watching the chefs cook and chop the food in front of us... a real show!! Highly recommend booking the oriental restaurant. We booked the premium level and had access to another snack bar so we could have breakfast outside by the water  [... read more]rather than in the buffet area (which had a school cafeteria feel). The premium level was well worth it! Apart from the lackluster food, everything was lovely.

El Cozumeleno Beach: Beautiful Views from Room

This resort was OK! They were beautiful views from the ocean view rooms, we did get a free upgrade. Breakfast and lunch were good, dinner was a bit difficult sometimes. One buffet and one à la cart. We had the à la cart two nights and both are great meals but the buffet nights for dinner were lacking. The servers were amazing and attentive, the pool could’ve been cleaner, overall not a bad resort. Three stars at best !

Occidental Cozumel: Great Vacation!

We enjoyed our stay at this resort. The ground were very lush and jungle-like, very well kept and beautiful. There was lot's of wildlife around, which was fun to watch. The food was great, with lots of options for everyone. The rooms were clean, and large, and had everything we needed. The only downfall for us with this resort, was that it was very quiet (perhaps too relaxing). We travelled with a group of 10, and we were looking for fun and to party. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing resort with not much to offer in terms of entertainment, than this one is it! Being in a larger group, we were able to make our own fun - but sometimes were told to quiet down :o( The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely recommend this resort to a friend - depending on what you are looking for.

Allegro Cozumel: Simply nice

This recently renovated resort was small, but had a nice warm feeling to it. It had most amenities that a larger resort would have, with premium brands to be drank!! The entertainment was good. It was relaxing, nice pool and beach area! There wasn’t a lot of different food types but it was ok. I am in a wheelchair and everything was flat or had ramps except my room and bathroom.. but we made do.. thank you

Allegro Cozumel: Great resort

Great all inclusive, staff was very friendly. Only complaint is the room size was quite small for a family of 4. Would definitely recommend. Beach is amazing, lots of activities to keep everyone busy.

Iberostar Waves Cozumel: Loved this resort

My husband and I just returned from this resort where we travelled with another couple. This was our third visit to Cozumel but our first time at this resort. The food at both the buffet and Oriental and Steak House A La Carte's, was the best that we've had at any all inclusive anywhere. The accommodations' are in bright one and two story buildings with 4 units on each level. Each room has an outside chair, table and hammock. The rooms are a decent size, clean and quiet but nothing fancy. T [... read more]he grounds are well maintained, lush and beautiful with lots of wildlife. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Look for Paty at the beach or by the pool and she will great you with a warm smile and charm you with her personality. As at most, if not all, resorts on Cozumel take your water shoes, as the beach and ocean are quite rocky because of the coral. This resort is a great size and has a lot to offer. I would highly recommend this resort if you are looking for a vacation without a lot of loud partying.

Occidental Cozumel: Great trip to Occidental Cozumel

Thank you to Jarius at trip Central for assisting with our travel to Occidental Cozumel last week! Had an excellent time at the resort. Occidental is a smaller resort but we enjoyed the accommodations. Rooms are great and kept very clean. The beach and pool areas were great, just needed more lounge chairs on the beach as you had to go very early in the morning to reserve chairs. Very fun atmosphere at the pool and beach. Food was good,small buffets but you could always find something t [... read more]o eat. We went to 2 of the 3 restaurants and found the food was just ok, not spectacular. Rented jeeps through the hotel and toured part of Cozumel and then did a snorkeling trip which was great. Had a great vacation at Occidental.

Occidental Cozumel: Great resort!

Occidental is a small resort, which I loved! We have been to other resorts that were so big one needed a tram to get around! Great nightly entertainment and wonderful staff. You can book many activities around the island right at the resort. Love all the vegetation and the iguanas and coatis are everywhere. Only two drawbacks - the beds are quite hard and we didn't have hot water in the shower for three nights.

Every part of this vacation went smooth. The resort had everything the staff was amazing food and drinks were delicious. The upgrade of room was worth the money. Upgrades ment we had private check in and access to self sever food and bar and a pool shared with just the other upgraded rooms. We were treated exceptionally well. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Allegro Cozumel: I thought the place was great

I was happy with the premium upgrade rooms benefits The private lounge and pool was great. The staff was amazing . The service was super. The buffets were organized and again the staff was incredible. I didn't have an empty plate or an empty drink for no more than a minute when a staff member would be right there to get me a drink and take my dirty plate away. Overall great great great

Grand Park Royal Cozumel: Another fantastic trip!!

Very clean place, very friendly people/staff, lots of stuff to do. I've always felt comfortable on and off resort. Outdoor shopping center right out behind resort. Been there twice already and planning next trip. Just a quick cab ride or 40 minute walk to downtown.

Occidental Cozumel: Quiet, and small resort.

The resort is very clean and well kept. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We had a great time as a group, but feel that as two people we might have been a bit bored. The food in the buffet was quite good. The late night pizza was great, but we found the a la carte restaurants a bit lacking- I would steer clear of the beef dishes, as those seemed to be the worst. The wine was not good, and drinks were inconsistent. However, because they are free pouring, just find a bar tender you like [... read more], and go to him. The shows at night were quite good, but day time activities were lacking. Overall, I think it was a nice trip, and would recommend the resort to couples or groups. Children would be bored stiff here.

Lovely resort, well manicured grounds, lovely rooms, great stretch of ocean, friendly staff, nice private lounge for premium guests - would definitely recommend booking premium level. We will be back.
