Krystal Grand Nuevo Vallarta: Very nice resort
I hope next time we come to this resort we don’t have to ask every day for hand towels and wash cloths and I would like to see a sheet on the bottom off the blanket and on top our blanket had stains on it I complained and they fixed the issue but definitely to have sheets top and bottom. Thank you
Grand Palladium Vallarta: Blue skies and good food!
Great food at buffet. Good entertainment. Fantastic grounds and beach. Lots and lots of stairs. Lots of hills. Not enough beach lounge chairs. Average food at restaurants. Lovely spa. Not cheap. Greenery on grounds - beautiful.
Canto Del Sol: Not a fan
I would rate this resort a three star if it were in Cuba. The resort is very dated, as an example, one socket in the room for charging any devices. The buffet has limited selection. Despite the line ups for the buffet it seemed everything had been out for a considerable period. I was only able to book two a la cartes, surf and turf was good but Mexican was a disappointment. On weekends the resort was very crowded so a good time to explore town. Staff were all great and always helpful.
Canto Del Sol: Disappointing resort
Lovely grounds, pool is good. Staff were very friendly and attentive to the guests. Rooms and food left much to be desired. Buffet had minimal options typically one starch, three or four veg one meat one fish. Food often overcooked. A La carte(s) were hard to reserve therefore dinning time not very convenient. Surf and turf a La carte was good. Furnishing in rooms very dated and in much need of renewal. Bed was reasonably comfortable.
Fiesta Americana Riviera Nayarit: very nice resort
Hotel was great the staff was spot on.. Didn't know about the condo owners there until we got there.. there were rules as to not upset the owners. Security by the pools was a bit un-nerving,, looking restless ,, also bored so bothering guests for anything,, not allowed to play your own music ,, must keep low voices and shows are quite low keyed,, Ala cartes were in my taste very disappointing,, we tried the Italian one night and no pizza that one time as I heard it was to best part there an [... read more]
Krystal Grand Nuevo Vallarta: Wonderful resort
This resort was wonderful. We purchased the altitude upgrade and would purchase again. The resort was beautiful, great food, great staff and great location. The drinks were not watered down. We will go again.
Las Palmas by the Sea: Las Palmas by the sea
This is an older hotel but kept in great shape with constant cleaning and maintenance. The beds are so comfortable and the rooms are more than adequate. The food at the buffet is quite varied, creative and appealing. Serving hours are generous...dinner served until 10 pm! The staff are fabulous. Friendly and interactive. Note that this hotel is very popular with the local population...great immersive experience! The entertainment is definitely geared to them, but enjoyable all the same. Th [... read more]
Flamingo Vallarta: Great location
We booked 2 weeks at the Flamingo Vallarta, the service and staff were all excellent. We plan on going back next year.We chose the all inclusive , the breakfast and lunches were very good. We ate out most nights to try the local restaurants around the marina.
Canto Del Sol: Nice Resort
The hotel and ground are very clean staff are amazing. Definitely would go back to this resort. Close to alot different restaurants and shops. If you want to walk to the Malecon is approximately 25 min or hope on the bus for 10 pesos
Las Palmas by the Sea: Great resort to relax
Older resort but very clean. Food was good but for the price you pay you can go out for supper. 2 pools, one for adults only and it’s heated. Not to much English or French speaking workers.Third time there to relax and that’s what we did.
Iberostar Selection Playa Mita: Disappointing Experience
The resort itself has loads of amenities, is very well laid out and the grounds are beautiful. There are also loads of chairs around the pool at all times and a very good area for children. While the public areas are kept very clean, there are maintenance issues. The sink in our room leaked on the shelf below, the air conditioning couldn't be adjusted and nothing was done about either issue during our stay. While those were minor issues, we did have a major issue with the food. We found the food [... read more]
Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: fun place amazing sunsets

Canto Del Sol: Typical resort
This resort has a Mexican charm to it. It is in need of renovations though. Bed in our room needed to be replaced, it was disgusting, dirty foam pad and mattress. The food was pretty good and nightly entertainment was good. Staff at buffet restaurant were friendly, front desk staff could be better. We couldn’t seem to get face cloths after talking to them several times. When our room had issues they got someone on it fairly quick. We hardly sat at the beach as palapas were very low. Beach was n [... read more]
Krystal Grand Nuevo Vallarta: Nice resort but too many steps to the lobby
The rooms are nice no complaints but our room was not stocked regularly with water and beer etc. We had to call and waited forever for anyone to come. This is not a 5 star hotel. Maybe 3. The food for the most part was not good. Buffet was always packed and they were running out of food. Waited in line. Food wasent hot…it was hard to book a la cartes for the time we wanted. Service was slow and quality of food was not good. I slipped in the lobby the first day we were there. Water in the f [... read more]
Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Not Bad
Ocean view room was perfect...old cabinets in bathroom and taps from 1950.... Lots of cobblestone steps around but ramps as well. Food was just ok..tender beef, swiss chalet like chicken most lunch and dinner. Veggies either mushy or raw. I love rice and it was good..breakfast good..home smoked bacon. Lots of seniors limping with knee braces but gorgeous grounds, beach lovely but ocean dirty. Nice to walk to lshops and Chedraui dept store.
Hacienda Buenaventura Hotel and Mexican Charm: Friendly, family-style resort.
The three-story complex has charming Mexican architecture and a low-key vibe. The rooms are older and modest but have comfortable beds and good showers with a small garden patio. The staff are friendly especially restuarant and bar staff. This is a quiet resort with low key music that ends at 10pm. A few younger families but mostly older retired folks are guests so this is not a party place.
Fiesta Americana Riviera Nayarit: First time at a Wyndham Alltra Resort!
I can safely say I enjoyed the week here at this resort. The food was excellent, the service was fantastic and the value for dollars was about right! The location was perfect and felt safe even off the resort. Puerto Vallarta was a mere 455 pesos by taxi away where we spent a day exploring. The beach was long, walkable, soft sand, ocean was swimmable, whales providing a show as did a small delegation of baby turtles trying to get to the ocean after hatching! A very cool experience!
Krystal Grand Puerto Vallarta: Pleasant Resort
On the whole this resort is fine, given the price we paid. Having said that, there is room for some improvements. There were not enough loungers on the beach. In order to secure a spot, you need to be saving your place by 7:30. There was one day during the week where a section of our beach area was roped off as people from a cruise ship were using that space. This was frustrating as it meant even fewer beach umbrellas, loungers and space. When we inquired as to this inconvenience, the response [... read more]
Krystal Grand Nuevo Vallarta: The Good, Bad and Ugly

Krystal Grand Nuevo Vallarta: Amazing resort
The hotel was very nice, we were up graded to the Time share building. the wi-fi was not good. we had to go to the office area to get wi-fi. Not ideal at all. we also were speaking to may of the people who have timeshare and there was nothing positive. the rooms needed to be up grated and taken care of. this has nothing to do with our original room at Krystal Grand, however, we wanted to let people know not to go to the Timeshare part of the resort. I believe the owner, who is not the owner o [... read more]
