Vila Gale Cayo Santa Maria: New Resort
Beautiful sandy beach with crystal clear water. New resort with clean room. Service is ok but if you want an excellent Service you need to tip. Sometimes even when you tip $5 or $10. They don't look after you. Food not good. Don't go to Cuba for food. Buffet had 1000 of flys landing on food and while your eating. Food selection was limited with restaurant serving Buffet food. DON'T FORGET BUGS SPRAY.
Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: Birthday Celebration
this was our 4th time to this resort and we were there to celebrate my husbands birthday. The CoVID protocols in place made us very comfortable. Masks were worn for employees in every area serving food and any other service areas. There was also Masks were also required for guests to enter the store and buffet, the a la carte restaurants masks weren't required. The service was fabulous. Our only disappointment was the housekeeping wasn't the best, coffee cups and glasses not washed, the beverage [... read more]
Vila Gale Cayo Santa Maria: Getting Started
This hotel opened 2 months ago after sitting 2 years from the completion of construction. Covid delayed the opening no doubt. The occupancy was somewhere around 25% even with Cubans in for the weekend. Being a new hotel they did a good job of getting us in and settled. The building was large and beautiful but due to occupancy was only running the main lobby , pool, one snack bar and beach facilities. The entertainment was done in the lobby bar which was well received by the guests. This beach i [... read more]
Vila Gale Cayo Santa Maria: Fantastic place !
Just amazing ! Loved everything from the minute we landed to the minute we left ! Amazing stuff, clean rooms, the beach just breath taking ! The view from the room spectacular ! My best trip to Cuba so far ! Going back for sure !
Vila Gale Cayo Santa Maria: The best vacation!
This was the most amazing resort! Staff were so friendly especially Elvis,Ricky, Alex, Yasnier, Adrián, Rollo and his crew. All of the shows at night, the food and the beach was amazing, there wasn’t anything that didn’t go perfectly. The room was extremely clean and we had a beautiful ocean view as well. I have absolutely no complaints and am counting down the days until we go back!
Vila Gale Cayo Santa Maria: Great time
I had a great time, my first solo trip. The hotel staff always made me feel welcome. The resort is clean, well kept gardens and stocked bars. The food was not the best, I have been to 🇨🇺 7 times and have never had an issue until this resort. No fries, no butter, smaller buffet than most resorts, less options.
Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: Nice resort
Rooms were very nice, best bed yet! Third floor room very quiet. Food was good at the various reserved restaurants. Not a fan of the buffet, a lot of guests chose to not wait in lines. Hit and miss regarding using gloves and masks at the buffet. Children and young people sticking their hands into food i.e. nacho chips. Lots of wildlife including Monkeys which are very entertaining. Helpful staff, our initial room had a bunch of water on the floor, our luggage driver immediately got us an [... read more]
Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: Amazing resort!
Grand Sirenis is absolutely beautiful! The grounds and wildlife really make the trip that much better. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming, they go out of their way to make your day. There is a very large variety of food at every buffet that everyone will find something they like. The shows are beautiful and the performances are top notch. The pools are kept very clean and the swim up bars are easy to order from. The lines are never too long at any of the bars as the staff are very effic [... read more]
Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: Our week stay in Grand Sirenis resort was very good !
The rooms in this hotel are very spacious and comfortable. We've got everything in our room we had asked for and we especially thank for that Tripcentral travel agent Karol Chareza. We enjoyed the beach very much. It was very clean although resort personnel was constantly fighting seaweed battle. The resort beach area is surrounded by big rocks which allows to swim and snorkel every day despite big ocean waves. The food was amazing and in big variety. Overall our vacation was great.
Vila Gale Cayo Santa Maria: Nice Hotel but bad Food and flies all the time in the smelly buffet
The Grand Sirenis Cayo Santa Maria is a nice and new hotel. well located the beach is amazing the hotel pretty new and the room well decorated. The major issue was the buffet, always smelly and full of flies. at a point there was more flies in the buffet than outside. The bad smell was probably coming from the restroom close to the buffet. They were understaffed at the buffet even if the hotel was not full. The Food was not good and not diverse compare to the grand memories were I was a coup [... read more]
Vila Gale Cayo Santa Maria: Not clean and bad mangement
The management of this hotel is very bad. Customer service is literally non-existent. The buffet was full of flies at all times and there was a continuous smell of sewage. When we tried to go eat outside we were told that we are not allowed. We asked to talk to a manager and he/she never came. We never had enough towels in the room (1 for 2 people) and we had to ask multiple times to receive a second one. Water would not evacuate in the shower and it was never taken care of. The only pos [... read more]
Vila Gale Cayo Santa Maria: Nice resort
Hotel grounds were nice, beds were comfortable, some staff were great and others weren’t especially since they did not speak English, Buffett did not have many options for breakfast, lunch or dinner! TOO many flys in buffet like discusting as they landed on EVERYTHING! My first time in Cuba and was not very happy!
Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: Loved this resort!
The Grand Sirenis is a huge property that provides multiple areas for relaxation or fun! Lush vegetation provides a natural habitat for many animals which we loved! A beautiful natural cove at the beach provides shelter on rough days and snorkelling off the beach! Multiple restaurants and several concierge’s to assist with bookings or to answer questions.A whole variety of activities day and night! Many bar tenders and servers keep you well hydrated. All staff wore masks indoors and outdoors [... read more]
Grand Sirenis Punta Cana Resort: Nice Resort
The grounds are beautiful & well kept. Resort is laid out very well. Was disappointed to find that the Resort has stopped offering disposable gloves at the buffet restaurants. In my opinion this is not good as Covid is still very much with us. Cleaning of tables has also diminished. Overall, cleanliness of the buffet restaurants has become less of a priority. Washrooms in the lobby areas however are kept very clean. Room was okay. A basic room. Was cleaned to my liking each day. Had a couple if [... read more]
Grand Sirenis Punta Cana Resort: Great family resort
My bestfriend and I (mid 20s) decided to take our first all inclusive trip together. The resort was great, an extra shout out to a few front staff Brelin, Wahgner, Andry, Edward, Carlos, Breilly and ismrel! Also a shout out to our favourite bartender Victor as the resort lounge bar! The beach and pool is about a 5-10 min walk from main resort area. We stayed in building 13, our room, wasnt so great. It was extremely humid, to the point where all of our belongings were damp and musty by the time [... read more]
Grand Sirenis Punta Cana Resort: Fabulous Vacation
I can't say enough good things about this resort. The grounds are breathtaking. Food was amazing. The rooms are very clean and updated. The cleaners did a great job cleaning everyday. The servers and bar tenders did a great job getting to everyone even when the bar was super busy. I pools were warm, maybe even too warm but we spent most of our time at the beach swimming in the ocean. This resort lived up to everyone of my expectations. I would 100% vacation here again. The kids aqua par [... read more]
Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: Visit #6 for me!
I love this hotel. Staffing was short due to pandemic but they still did a great job all around. Masking at the bars and in the buffet still in place. The only negative I have about Sirenis is they do not appreciate their repeat guests in any way. Too focussed on their members to care about anyone else.
Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: Great resort with amazing staff
Wonderful resort with amazing staff and service. We first visited the resort a out 15 years ago and loved it even more this time around (we took our two teenage sons , who also really enjoyed Sirenis), they enjoyed the disco and the many bars and lounge areas. The Japanese dinner was a highlight of our trip. Checo was our concierge and he went out of his way to make out trip fantistic (as did all the Grand Sirenis staff).
Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: Great resort with amazing staff
Huge resort with many activities and wonderful location, we really enjoyed the a la cart restaurants and the staff was very helpful and friendly always going out of their way to assist. This is our second trip to this resort and it was even better this time around.
Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: Awesome! Great value!!
We were looking for an inexpensive second winter getaway, so we choose Grand Serenis as it was half the price of what we usually pay. We were not sure what to expect but as it turned out we were very pleased. The staff was great, the resort was huge and well looked after. The rooms were typical of any resort and had no issues. The alcohol was a bit watered down but that was fine as the pool and beach bar servers kept the drinks topped up. The buffet was what to be expected (average) but the ala [... read more]
