Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Amazing resort

Great resort for the price. Plenty of food around the clock. Never got bored , only able to see half the resort , too big, good for the kids too, plenty of activity, play area lots of pools every where. Entertainment every night. Beach is awesome. Bad : 1 receptionist very very slow to do everything? Check in 20 minutes per room . I don’t get it 2 : all the meat food are very salty? I mean very. I don’t get that part ether

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Beautiful Resort and fabulous staff

Our family of 4 adults and 2 children had a wonderful 7 days here just after New Year's. Our rooms were almost adjacent as requested. There were absolutely no issues upon arrival. Staff were very friendly and accomodating all week. We had emailed the resort for al la carte reservations before leaving Canada and they were made for us. The choices were amazing. You have to remember where you are and what they can offer. There was never any person looking for tips. In fact, they went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. I was deciding on a nightcap one evening, and the main lobby verandah bartender made me a Jamaican Grand Marnier. Perfect job. The resort is very large. We did a lot of walking from our room in the 2300 block. It was beautiful. There are several cats by our area and they hung around the gardens. Staff are always working to keep it lovely and clean. Lots of security and they are very friendly if you are. I felt very safe there. The only problem I saw was when people would argue with staff who monitored the exclusive members pool area. People would argue that they spent thousands of $ to come here and they should be allowed to go there. Duh! We did a day trip to Ocho Rios for some shopping and then Dunns River falls. We wanted just a little time shopping and approached our WestJet rep. No problem. She made arrangements for us and we were given exactly what we asked for. Lady Dee , who was our guide on the bus gave us lots of info on the area, made arrangements for the security of our parcels, got towels for us when we forgot ours, and we had a lovely day.

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Amazing resort

Hotel was very good as always have been there before very well kept, Pool area was amazing lots of action Rooms always fresh looking We found the beef restaurant to be the best this year, the buffets were good also. Lots of entertainment

Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: The resort was good

This hotel was too far from Samana airport, two hours bus ride to the hotel. We arrived very late and the snack bar was very limited they only had grilled cheese, nachos, fries, hotdogs and hamburgers. The room is average the bed and pillow was not comfortable only if you like hard beds. The buffet is the same menu every day, the vita dolce is the best restaurant to dined in. The beach is not that nice and i got bitten by a lot of sand flies at the beach. The nights shows are amazing. Overall this is a very average resort it not like the other bahia principe that i have stayed at. I don't think this resort was worth the price that i paid for. After all it bests getting away from the cold and to enjoy the sunshine.

Bahia Principe Explore Legend: Fun for families!

What a gorgeous and well maintained resort. Excellent staff everywhere - front desk, concierge, rooms, restaurants, pools. Clean, well maintained and well appointed rooms. Terrific food. The teen club was perfect for our kids and we all loved the pool. Lots of close amenities. We had slow service one night at an a la carte restaurants and we were so impressed by how the hotel staff made up for it. Beach was very crowded - but there was so much else to do! Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Incredible time

I booked this resort because it was my first time travelling alone and wanted something large and safe. The resort and stay were amazing. My room was gorgeous.....I felt like a princess. It was spacious with a fantastic ensuite and balcony. Housekeeping was diligent, my room was tidied each morning. The grounds were beautiful; very well maintained, The food options were fantastic! All staff were professional, helpful, friendly, positive and hard-working. They interacted well with all the guests. Suggestions for the hotel: 1. a better arrival system (a quiet room, stronger organization-room was loud, process was annoying after hours of travel) 2. WIFI in all rooms-WIFI was sketchy and only worked in the main lobby 3. have some "light snacks" available with the coffee and tea on the patio 4. do not serve/allow food around the pool--some guests made a mess and that was kind of gross to be around when swimming and lounging Overall, an excellent experience and I would definitely recommend the resort and take a return trip!

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Too large

People, courtesy awesome. For me it was too large. Having stayed in a Bahia in Punta Cana a few years ago was more quaint. Exclusions from allowed resorts were not well indicated. For example, told to move our sun chairs on the beach by 2 feet and not being served drinks where we had previously in the past first days.

Trip central did everything to make my stay pleasant! From great customer service to assuring I stay at a great resort. They even went as far as providing me details on where to park my car before leaving. The resort was accurate and as listed on trip central. I would book through trip central again anytime and stay at the same resort again!! Thanks again

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: The Bloom is Off This 5 Star Rose

Staff continue to be this resort's biggest asset...friendly, professional and personable; Grounds continue to be spectacular; Rooms and buildings showing their age - re-fresh needed; Beach is cleaned daily of seaweed and the golden, sand gleams magnificently under the hot Caribbean sun; Quality of food has declined noticeably over the past few years...cuts of meat are not as nice, fresh orange juice tastes powder-made; Repeat guests counts for little or nothing.

Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: Trip review

This resort is big and clean but the staff look very missarable not friendly don't want to help and they don't think your request is important. The rooms are not cleaned properly and you have to ask for towels. When you ask the front desk for anything you are told come back tomorrow again and again very frustrating. The food was terrible need more variations instead of the same thing every day too much seafood signs are not placed in the right place so you don't know what you're eating people ha [... read more]ve allergies which could cause the resort a lot of problems. Immigration was a bunch of bullies and think they have a lot of power very rude I would never go back to this resort or Dominican Republic again.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: A 3,5 star at best

We have stayed at a Bahia resort in Jamaica and had a great experience so we thought let's book at a Bahia in Punta Cana. We can't go wrong, right? *Check-in was disastrous and finally fixed a few hours later. *Service was substandard. After my husband made several attempts to arrange a late checkout he was denied again by the manager and told to just file a complaint! *Rooms were cleaned 4 days out of our 7 and the fridge was never stocked. *The entertainment is ok but not well organized  [... read more]and you'll find yourself trying to find what is going on when it just abruptly ends at midnight. Overall, we were very disappointed in this resort and will never go back or recommend it.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Best Resort!

The staff were wonderful. Never passed a staff member who did not say 'Hello" and ask if we needed anything. Food was very good. Fan in our room was broken , took a couple calls but was taken care of quite promptly. Beautiful location. Liked that we could go to Tulam ( staff not very helpful or friendly like Akumal!) and Coba Resorts as well. Had a wonderful trip.

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Bahia Principe for us

One of Bahia Principe Resorts in Punta Cana is one of our yearly destinations. When we get there we feel like we got home. We love the fact that the resort is big, the beach is large and the water gets deep gradually. And the daily journeys with the trams make you think of childhood 😊. The rooms are standard and we were lucky not to have any issues with them so far during so many trips there. There is a good selection of restaurants. We always love to go to the Steak and BBQ ones.

Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Beautiful hotel and immaculate gardens!

Our room was gorgeous with a huge wrap around balcony, but we were disappointed that we had to use bottled water for drinking and brushing teeth etc. In the morning you had to wait 10 mins for the water to run warm then another 40 mins to fill the Jacuzzi to the jet level. In our room fridge, along with 2 beer, water and soft drinks, there were only 3 miniature bottles of alcohol - not enough for 2 people, and that was your daily quota. Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Excellent adult resort

This resort is fantastic for adults who just want to relax. The food at the buffet and at the two restaurants is excellent. Access to the exclusive beach and to the adjoining resorts is easy. We only tried two of the restaurants at the adjoining resorts but they were also excellent. The staff are friendly and happy to help. Great value.

Bahia Principe Explore La Romana: Not the same Bahia

I was Bahias biggest booster,stayed at P.Plata,Punta Cana and Mayin Bahias over the past decade and loved them all.After a few years away figured lets go back but to La Romana,it was not the same. Staff was friendly but in the past they were more outgoing in making connections and getting people involved in activities and events.The events and shows were always easily identified and able to locate on the premises, this time there was confusion and hard to locate where they were being held by gu [... read more]ests and staff.Trying to get a drink at all facilities was near impossible because the staff did not approach to ask you if you would like something with your dinner or lunch and if they did try to order an orange soda,did not exists and they looked confused by your request.However the food was fantastic as always and the rooms and hotel were spotless.The NYE event was outstanding they put on!! Maybe the past expectations were set to high?

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Resort Needs an update

We have been to this Resort many times but it’s truly showing it’s wear and tear, it definitely needs an update and also needs help as far as handicap rooms and handicap transportation to and from al a carte restaurants. The rooms are not equipped for the handicap nor the restaurants. Most of the Staff are the best part of this resort along with the beach. The food needs help, it has definitely changed and not for the best.

Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: Great resort for value

The service and the food is very good. The restaurants were a must to go. The beach is nice and long. Hotel would need some maintenance but the important (service, food, cleanliness) is excellent. I recommend this resort.
