Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Outstanding Experience!

I don’t want to write a positive review and reduce our chances of securing our suite for next year, however everything at Siam Ka’an was too good not to compliment. The service, from booking to greeting, friendliness of all staff, and the resort itself. Outstanding, see you next year.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Beautiful getaway

The resort was immaculate, staff super friendly, service outstanding and food/restaurants delicious. Definitely recommend this resort. When we arrived at Grand Bahia the staff upgraded us to the Luxury Bahia. Simply incredible.. we are forever grateful.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Excellent rooms

Great hotel. I have been there before and went back to enjoy it again. The beach service is excellent, way better than the other areas of the resort. Our family had been staying next door at the Bahia Esmeralda because their kids were too young to stay at Ambar. So during the day we hung out together. We were not allowed to eat at the Esmeralda buffet for lunch (to our surprise) and were told we had to go to Ambar to eat. I am pretty sure Ambar is the top of the resort so my belief is [... read more] that we should be allowed to eat anywhere, but I was wrong, only at the ala cart restaurants. The other disappointment was going to see the shows at night at the "main" resort (I think its called bavaro). We asked for the upgraded booze and were told that even though we were Ambar we had to pay for it or go back to our bar to get it. The Ambar Manager also confirmed that although did take it off our bill. The reason we get the upgraded packages is for the better booze and it never was like this when I went before. So that's fine - time to try another resort...... too bad.

Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: Wonderful experience

The grounds and the sea was great. The room was very near to the lobby which was good.The room itself had problems..the plumbing and later the roof leaking on the washroom was disgusting. I can recommend people to go provided the alterations are made. Food was good ..shows were okay too.But the ticks in the sand were giving grief to all of us ..it continues still after 3days of returning.. Overall a good experience.

Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Awesome family resort

A beautiful and clean resort that’s compact, well organized and family friendly. The beach is incredible, food is great, service is perfect and everyone is so nice. They’ve got tons of activities for kids and adults, and you’ll never be bored. This is probably one of the nicer resorts we’ve been to. Highly recommended

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: New Bahía Principe Ambar renovations

Our third time to the Ambar. Always great buy even better this time as all rooms have been remodeled and the exterior repainted a much nicer colour. Also a brand new really nice Sportsbar right on the grounds. The bottom floor now has walkout pools. The food and drink were perfect as usual. Staff are all wonderful to be with. Lobby has new furniture and a brand new coffee shop just outside. Highly recommend the Adults only Ambar.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Beautiful Resort

We loved the rooms and the service we received. The room was always done early and supplied with fridge items etc. Richard our butler kept us well supplied with ice and was very helpful with meal arrangements. Pools, restaurants, bars all beautiful, great food and great staff

Bahia Principe Escape Samana: Fantastic Resort

We absolutely loved our stay at Luxury Bahia Principe Samana last week. The food was amazing - we highly recommend the buffet food - everything you could want and more was offered and it was all delicious. I loved the Italian restaurant, but RODIZIO restaurant for Brazilian BBQ was incredible! Book it as soon as you arrive. The staff were so friendly, accommodating, excellent service at the bars especially. Great drinks! Although some negative comments from other reviewers I read prior to booking were on point (ie. room fridge was not very cold, hot tub was not very hot), we found them inconsequential. Overall, this resort was perfect for us and we have absolutely no complaints at all. It was quiet, entertaining, inspiring and so much fun ... and we will definitely visit again!

We had a wonderful time relaxing and having fun. Incredibly well kept and clean resort, great food and drinks. The staff was amazing from start to finish, we will definitely be booking another vacation here in the future

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Okay time beach horrible

The hotel is huge coba is nowhere near the beach but can take tram to beach. Beach not great pools were good pool at Tulum way better. Rooms were good. Given one bed for two girls asked for room switch but didnt ljke the location of the room slept on couch. Food was mediocre. Shows were great. Overall hotel was good. Didnt ljke the timeshare guys bothering us everytime we walked by. If every returned would stay at Tulum. Brazillian resturant qas oksy loved the Mediterranean one

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: My favourite resort!

Everything was so well kept, they were constantly keeping the grounds and buildings maintained. There are a lot of options to eat at different buffets so you never get sick of the food. The friendly staff is one of the main reasons why I love this place, they are so welcoming. There was a lot of seaweed being washed up on the beach, but the maintenance guys were constantly removing it.

The Eurostars Grand Cayacoa: breathtaking views and selection of food

So many areas to walk around, on grounds, lots of stairs. Clean, manicured and friendly staff. close to town, vendors too aggressive in town. Excursions were jam packed full of culture. Tour guides were very knowegeable of history and surroundings.

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Grand Bahia Principe Bavaro

Very happy with this resort. We were in a building half way to beach and lobby so a perfect location. Beautiful beach and water, however the chairs and size of beach leads to people one on top of one another. Not a good feature. Pool by our room was great, never really crowded and easy to get a chair there. Food was pretty good, one will not starve. Some service areas were not great, but would not let this ruin an otherwise good trip. We did two excursions and each one was great.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: We will never go anywhere else!

The Bahia Principe has everything you could need. We returned for our honeymoon after staying in Tulum previously. Akumal is our favourite because it is right on the beach with a very nice infinity pool, snack bar/buffet, and beachfront. The adults-only sections are a nice feature. The 24 hour wifi, nightly a la carte dinners, and access to the entire resort makes Akumal worth the extra money compared to staying in Coba or Tulum. Our complaints are only minor, and would compare to other resorts. [... read more] The staff are the nicest people in the Mayan Riviera compared to many other places we have been in the Caribbean. The food never gets tiring, and the resort has so much to offer that in the 6 times I have been there, I've never left the resort! This time we stayed for 10 days instead of 7, and it was a perfect length of time to really get the most out of the sun and the amenities. The nightlife on the resort seems to have improved greatly, and we enjoyed the shows and music every night. The casino and club in Hacienda were also very fun nightly activities. We will definitely keep going back!

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Great Resort!

The people were wonderful the rooms were very nice, very comfortable with the exception of the beds. The beds were quite hard. The grounds were well kept the food was good. I would definitely go back again.

The Eurostars Grand Cayacoa: Great Stay

The hotel was kept clean! We had great service & weather. The bed is hard as a rock & things are quite noisy in the main building! The pool is great & the workers at the beach were working continuously to keep the seaweed at a tolerable level for guests. Both we really enjoyed! We did the zip lining excursion highly recommend! If up for an adventure check out Samana’s Ecological Treehouse ! Such a cool spot ! Also we did a catamaran experience which led us to Cayo laventado ! We did enjoy the spa but I would not recommend doing their hydrotherapy spa here - i wouldn’t even be saying it’s a hydrotherapy spa... really just a sauna. There is a lot of walking but honestly it’s great especially since you are indulging all week! All staff was great ! Food was decent also ! Great deal for what we paid! Nothing of Grand Bahia Principe Cayacoa - but our airline provider Air Canada Rouge was what I consider ‘subpar’. If you do not have to fly with this company , then do not. Staff was friendly but everything else subpar.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great resort

I only have good to say. about this resort. It's very big and takes a bit to get the layout, but the shuttle service ran smoother then a small city and staff is great. A true 5 star. All services are well provided.

Cayo Levantado Resort: Wonderful island resort

The grounds are a lush tropical paradise. The main building is a masterpiece and tastefully decorated with white on butter yellow...beautiful fragrant flowers everywhere!! The service was impeccable. We did not take advantage of all the amenities like room service or fragrance in your rooms, or special pillows...as we were in our rooms just to sleep. We spent most of our days on the spectacular beach just relaxing. So, I sat an inordinate number of hours in a semi comatose (from all the food and drink) daze. A big congratulatory shout out to Eduardo and at the beach bar. He always had a smile for you no matter how busy it got!! The butlers Anthony and Yuri were also very polite and at your service for whatever you needed. The three hour bus ride from the Puerto Plata airport became a 5 hour bus ride due to traffic and delays, so that is something I would never want to do again. It's best to fly in directly to Samana.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: It was an amazing resort but just a bit too big.

The resort was spotless in every area. Rooms were very nice. We were very close to pool, beach and buffet areas. Staff were very friendly, pleasant and very hardworking. Trolleys taking you around the complex were frequent and went out of their way to get you to your destination. General manager was exceptionally helpful and had great command of English language.
