Las Palmas by the Sea: It was awesome

It's a great resort. Son (26) and I (57) enjoyed it very much . Love the fact Mexicans was at the resort vacationing also . All of them would sing along of many of the Spanish songs. Loved it ! Friendly ,courteous and bartender David (center bar)always made sure you didn't run out of alcohol lol . Rooms were clean , REMEMBER ITS A 3 STAR HOTEL .! Well worth the trip !

Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: Awesome tesort

The resort itself was lovely. It was very clean and the people there were very helpful and friendly. I had very high expectations as this was my first time being in a place like this, and it was met.

Totally killing the vibe my suggestion maybe take the bingo to the other pool or if they really must play bingo keep it at 1 game only The pool staff were always there never felt we had to find a server The restaurants we thought the steak restaurant way over rated ( Again our opinion don't come after me ) Not the best steak hospitality at the restaurants extremely amazing Our favourite restaurant was the Italian and ?Mexican Breakfast and lunch great buffet tons of variety The drinks I found they totally tasted off not sure why so I stuck to beer at the pool Wine at dinner ( wine perfecto ) Nighttime entertainment at the hotel great not cheesy at all very professional Wish the bars at the hotel would stay open later closed too early The beautiful inside bar in the hotel the decor was breathtaking Unfortunately couldn't sit for too long as the smell of dampness was too much for me Speaking of dampness my room didn't need " Damp rid " went next door to the white party ! Glad I got to experience it for 1 hour more for a 20 year olds but still glad we experienced it We found even the guests were all friendly everyone approachable Check out a breeze and again got a private shuttle to pick us up at the hotel Rating 8 / 10 We are DEFINITELY !! Coming back Would love to see dancing for the guests at the bar Less bingo at the pool Maybe changing the menu at the restaurants Excuse me while I book our next trip back ??

Riu Dunamar: AWESOME resort!!

We spent 7 days at Riu Dunamar, and could not say a single bad thing! The resort is beautiful, clean and well kept. Our room was big and spacious. The atmosphere is fun and welcoming. The beach is beautiful, with 5 pools. There was numerous things to do to keep yourself busy. The shows each night were great! Amazing staff, drinks and food. Lots of different meal choices. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing vacation.

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Good food, great service, and an overall great vacation!

We are a middle aged couple and visited the Iberostar Paradiso Lindo in February and we really enjoyed our stay. It's a beautiful resort, with great food, and great staff. Overall, we had a wonderful time. We booked this knowing it was a family resort, and I will say there are a lot of children. For the most part, they didn't bother us. It would have been nice to have an adults only or quieter pool in the main area, but in all honesty this resort is so big you could easily seek that out if you w [... read more]ere willing to walk a little further away from the main area. We loved the animals and wildlife and the steakhouse, Mexican resto, and Mexican lunch buffet is a must!

Iberostar Selection Coral Cancun: The room with a private rooftop pool is a DREAM.

My hubby and I stayed only 4 days in the private rooftop, ocean view for our baby moon. It was heaven on earth. We only left the room (thanks to great room service) for 2 lunches and dinner every night & I can say the service was matched with the amazing view. Gasper, Jair and Eduardo provided hands down the best service we’ve ever received. Anywhere. My hubby was sick 3/4 days we were there and we had a late 8pm flight home. They even pulled some strings to ensure we would have the room that  [... read more]day so that my hubby could get more rest before checking out at 5:30. (15USD an hour, easy choice). The basic rooms also share the same stunning view. We were in room 5311. I honestly can’t say enough about it. I just wish we were both healthy during so we could have enjoyed it fully, we’ll be back!! Our only con on our only trip to keep things real - our transfer from airport to hotel took 1.5 hours (Air Transit) we were waiting outside the whole time. They told us 3 times “20 mins” and then had to scramble to find us a bus when they realized we were all just gonna jump into taxis. Enough is enough. Disappointing start to the trip but forgotten the moment we saw that view.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Amazing resort

This trip has renewed my faith in Mexico vacations. We were almost at the point of not ever going there again. The rooms were functional and comfortable. The buffet was adequately stocked.The exterior was pristine. Very clean and constantly being tended.The staff was friendly and helpful. The only compaints we have, is because the flight was late leaving Edmonton, we arrived at the hotel at 11:30 at night. The resort was very dark and the person who met us spoke no Englsh. We had to carry all  [... read more]our bags about 1 block to the room. Normally, this would not be an issue,but I am currently waiting to have surgery on my back. The second issue was in the booking of our bus to return to the airport. We were given the time of 4:45 pm. I checked this 2 days before departure. Was reassured that was the correct time.we did all the checkout jobs and waited at the area we were told to wait. At 3:20 a bus arrived. We were asked if this was our bus. Of course I said no. We finally had to be taxied to the airport at 5:00 pm,which was comped by Sunwing. Over all,we were very pleased with the vacation.

Grand Palladium Riviera Resort And Spa: Absolutely amazing resort!!

Considering I had run out of options for my last minute vacation, and didn’t know much about Grand Palladium, I was extremely happy when I arrived. This could be my new favourite resort, and area to travel too. The grounds, staff, food, and location are top notch! I watched humpback whales right from the beach, and enjoyed every meal. The beach was beautiful, with powdery white sand, and the ocean was a gorgeous azure colour, with the backdrop of mountains, that I didn’t expect. I have to add th [... read more]at the staff, especially the Concerirge made my stay, as comfortable as I could have asked for, especially being solo. With some health issues, They went above and beyond, to make sure I had everything I needed. Julian in particular was always there, for anything I needed, and deserves a huge special thank you ? I had one major issue on the second last day, which was quite upsetting, but the Concerirge handled it immediately, All and all, I would recommend this resort to everyone, and anyone, and I’m planning on coming back again, in the future! Breathless Riviera Cancun: 5 Stars for Julio!

It was our first visit and won’t be our last! Nice spacious rooms, punctual housekeeping, beautiful grounds. Special shoutout to our server Julio - he provided top-level service that we were so grateful for! Sad to say goodbye to the resort and our new friend Julio, but looking forward to returning.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Nice holiday.

Service staff are excellent. Grounds are well kept. Food and drinks were good. Pools are fine, but forget about the ocean as the water is dirty. As usual, not enough beach lounges and evening entertainment is way too loud for conversation. Service carts pass every few minutes, so transportation around the resort is great. Rooms need some upkeep which is typical for the caribbean. Love all the wildlife wandering on the grounds!

Blue Diamond Luxury Boutique Hotel: Quiet and beautiful

This hotel is located in a very beautiful, lush area. The staff was very helpful, the food was excellent. The room was large and well appointed. This is a lovely holiday for people who want a quiet, peaceful time. There is no nightlife, no evening entertainment, which as ok but we would have enjoyed a show or two.

Catalonia Yucatan: Fantastic resort

This was a grear experience. Resort was awesome. Grear food great options great service. Nice beach. People were awesome. A definite recommendation. Even access to shared facilities in sister resort next door

Breathless Riviera Cancun: Really nice

We stayed here and was very pleased with the service. The view was beautiful. The room was very comfortable. The service was impressive. Thank you to the very talented staff. The only thing I would suggest to anyone booking would be to include your travel to and from the hotel to the airport. We found out the hard way. Expensive taxis Thank you to the staff

Selection Riviera Cancun: Very nice resort!

The presimes all around were very clean and neat. Other than the little bit of construction in lobby area. Convenient not having towel cards and lots of chairs around the pools. Lack of communication upon arrival of details regarding the resort. Staff were very friendly and attentive with all ours needs.

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Outstanding stay at Iberostar Paraiso Lindo

Everything was great. Clean place, great layout, really nice beach. Staff was friendly and the food was simply the best we've had. We did 6 different a la cartes and each one was really enjoyable in terms of the quality of the food and the service. We just loved our stay.

Dreams Sands Cancun Resort and Spa: Amazing resort

Dreams Sands was just wonderful. I loved our room facing the ocean, the pools and beach so close by. The buffet was the best we have ever eaten at in all our travels. I was using a cane and everyone was very helpful and kind to me. The service was also the best we've had, staff was so attentive and did their jobs so well. We are planning to come back next year! Thank you Candice for this recommendation!

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Fun Holiday

The hotel was very clean. The grounds people were working at keeping everything fresh and tidy. Housekeeping was great. The entertainment staff was great. Marily was fun to talk with. Really enjoyed the silent disco.The food was great. especially Galla Night. The Ali-carts were also very good, especially the service.

Hotel Castillo Huatulco: Hate love relationship

This is our third visit to hotel Castillo. We must remember that the majority of clientele are locals which is great to see because of the growing middle class in Mexico. That being said we managed to find something to eat for breakfast and lunch and only eat one dinner in two weeks. Huatulco has some great restaurants so dinners were great but costly as prices have doubled over the years. We did enjoy the beach club but the beach it is on is nice to look at but difficult to access because of th [... read more]e rough ocean and hot hard to walk on sand. My biggest complaint is that you feel like a second class citizen because paying guests receive nice drinks in glass and have a separate menu. I guess prepaying for our all inclusive does not count as paying guest at the beach club! I must acknowledge the excellent service at the beach club and front deck, at the hotel the services was hit and miss. Unfortunately l will not be returning as for the money being charged for the quality of room and services there are so many other choices!

Ocean Coral and Turquesa: First Time! Amazing Trip!

Ocean Coral is an amazing resort! Beautiful gardens, walkways, beach setups and relaxing areas. Easy to get around, many restaurants, snack spots and bars, that are clean and ready to accommodate. Friendly staff, always around and ready to help get you whatever you want.

Grand Oasis Riviera: Not a 4.5 stars as sold, but a nice vacation still

First room we were given was in a bad shape: broken furniture, damaged walls, tub looked like it was painted with a brush multiple time, caulking in a bad condition, access door behind the toilet opening up to some pipes, high voltage cable cut and not capped, another in a junction box with no lid and a constant electrical buzz. We were travelling with a 3 and 6 year old kids, and were placed in an adult only section, the furthest away we could be from the kids zone, no elevator access. We g [... read more]ot moved to a closer and better room. Still not a 4.5 stars. Pictures announced slides, park, an inflatable climbing structure for the kids. there’s one small structure in a rough shape, one ground park slide that acts as a water slide that is to steep to be safe. Other than that, nice beach, great food, nice people **beware of the environmental tax. We were given a link to pay it up front, never asked for it, hotels charges it, don’t care about my receipt, charges it anyway and not the same price.**
