Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya: Excellent Stay!

We enjoyed a wonderful week. We stayed in a Gardenview swim up King room and although the swim up was beautiful the water did prove to be somewhat cool. The swim ups with pool view receive sun all day so they are much warmer. Food was excellent. It is a smaller resort which we liked. The beach is well maintained and beautiful. The swimming is great. Our beach server Alex was most excellent and so very pleasant! One area of improvement would be to have more shade on the beach ...there are plenty  [... read more]of chairs however not enough shade. Overall thumbs up.

Barcelo Maya Palace: Beautiful and relaxing resort!

The resort has everything you need to start your vacation: including great restaurants with an outstanding service, beautiful beaches, cool rooms and much more. We came here twice and we were very happy and pleased with the services, amazing crew and well maintained resort. Happy to come back again!

Buenaventura Grand Hotel and Great Moments: Great location

This resort has a great location near the malecon ala cart restaurants are very good ,Sunset restaurant good for breakfast lunch dinner....staff is very good and friendly...resort kept very clean....small resort with noisy pool area...some night time entertainment ...good drinks....rooms good but many have poor views unless up pay more or are "club" members they will try to sell you to become travel club member...buffet was terrible little variety cold and poor quality ....beach is pretty good  [... read more]but has lots of rocks and suffers when tied is high

Haven Riviera Cancun: Perfect week in Mexico

Haven Riviera Cancun is a beautiful resort located just 15 minutes from Cancun airport. Rooms are spacious, clean with large balconies, we had an ocean view which was great. The patio furniture could be a little more comfortable but it was fine. The restaurants are all good we enjoyed the Italian and steak house the most the lobster upgrade was expensive but very good. There was nightly entertainment which was your basic resort shows a couple were pretty good. We did the chocolate and tequila tasting which was worth the price, there are lots of activities for those that are interested. Really enjoyed the entire trip including the golf, this is a really nice resort if you are not looking for pristine beaches this area has the seaweed problem the resort does their best to control it. The serenity club upgrade did offer some good features like the private lounge and restaurant as well as the pool and beach area. Overall This is a great resort I would highly recommend we had no issues the entire trip Thanks O’Neil from Trip Central for a.ways being there when we need you.

Hilton Tulum Riviera Maya All Inclusive: Luxurious stay!

Exceptional service by the staff! Hotel was huge and there was always something to do! Drinks were not watered down, food was as average as an all inclusive was but tons of options available. Beach was quite rocky so I would bring water shoes if you want to swim. This hotel is further from excursions so plan ahead for tours and activities. Overall great experience.

the rooms were so spacious and clean. everyday the cleaners would come and everything was in great condition. the food was yummy, lots to choose from and buffet was divine. great for families as well as they had a teen and kid centre. activities were fun i loved the silent disco, and the staff was incredibly nice! (especially israel & miguel) i loved the service here! the resort itself was also stunning, i loved the cafe in the lobby and got iced lattes everyday there! beach was pretty rocky tho [... read more]ugh (bring water shoes!) overall i absolutely adored this resort!

Hilton Tulum Riviera Maya All Inclusive: beautiful resort!

the resort was absolutely beautiful and the service was exceptional! all the workers were very friendly! the beach was very rocky but I brought water shoes so that wasn’t too much of an issue. the food was average.

Paradise Village Puerto Vallarta: Loved the Resort!!!

Process booking through Monique and Trip Central was effortless and greatly appreciated. Well travelled but had never been to this part of Mexico. The resort and vacation experience was wonderful. I will for sure go back again. The one issue I did have was the constant pressure to attend a 90 minute meeting to invest in a time share for the property. I was told by other guests that this meeting could last up to 3 hours based on their experience. This pressure started before I was even out  [... read more]of the airport and picked up again as soon as I checked into the resort. And every time I wanted to book an excursion I was told one price but that I would get a heavy discount if I attended this time share meeting. Finally, I advised that I had no interest and that I was fine paying full price for the excursions. My time on vacation was more valuable than a discount. But the pressure persisted. It was like they were not going to let me book the excursion unless I attended the meeting. So I didn't booked the excursion, saved money, and had more time to enjoy the resort!

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Wonderful resort!

We always have an excellent experience at the Bahia resorts. This one is great as there are so many different places to check out, including a few adults only spots. The food is incredible, including all of the a la cartes that we booked. You can't go wrong with the buffet though. The entire team is excellent, from the servers and cleaning staff, to the entertainment crews. We stayed for 10 days and we will very likely be returning for a longer trip next time.

Viva Maya by Wyndham: Great Resort

Really I have nothing negative to say about this resort it was amazing, clean, fun,staff were very nice, informative etc.... Well situated, food was good, the a la carte restaurants were super, the shows were amazing the talent of their staff for the nite shows were spectacular

Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: Lovely resort

We had a wonderful time, rooms were nice, pools were nice and clean, beach was small but lovely. Lots of beach chairs available. Lazy river was fantastic, so much fun. Friendly staff! Loved the wildlife. Buffets and ala carts were good. Ice cream was so delicious, many different flavors. Loved stopping at tge cafe bar with iced coffee and a dessert. Sky bar was lots of fun. Lots of walking but was good exercise and there were shuttles to take if you wanted too.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Sian Ka'an

I have been to Sian Ka'an many times and, as always, this resort has surpassed my expectations. The staff is friendly and helpful and are anxious to fulfill any requests we had. The food is excellent and there is enough varieties to satisfy everyone's tastes.

Unico 20 87 Hotel Riviera Maya: Impressive

This was our first time to Mexico. This resort exceeded our expectations. First the food was outstanding, every single meal was 5 star. The drinks were premium and service top notch. Staff were very professional. Rooms were spacious and the overall vibe felt comfortable and chill. Black bottom pools were gorgeous and beautiful beach.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Best vacation

Just got back from a weeks vacation and it was wonderful. The rooms were clean, staff were so friendly. Carlos is the man to see for drinks at the pool bar. The food was good at all restaurants except the steakhouse. Pools were nice and cleaned and I like the layout where the adult pool was one one side and the kids were on the other side. Feeding the monkeys was a memory I will never forget.

Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: Very Nice resort.

Unbelivable clean inside and out. Rooms were very spacious and bright. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I loved the landscaping too. Entertainment was pretty good. Enjoyed the silent music wearing headphones.

Riu Vallarta: Amazing

I've been to a lot of places all over Mexico and I have to say that the Riu Vallarta has been the best buffet I have ever seen. Selection and quality. Well done. Staff was very friendly. Cleaning staff was great. Entertainment was awesome and we used the neighboring Riu. Absolutely amazing vacation. no complaints.

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Absolutely loved it!!

Barceló Colonial was excellent!!! The resort is super clean, loved all the pools and the beach. The employees are so helpful and friendly. The food in the buffets were great, something for everyone and the Ala Cartes were excellent. The theatres provided fun entertainment in the evenings. Our rooms were great and kept very nice!! Beautiful resort and so much to there. Will definitely be visiting again.

Riu Flamingos: Not bad resort

The Riu Jalisco was an okay resort, the grounds were beautiful, the resort was very clean, the food was good, the staff were very good, went above and beyond to make you happy. It was nice that you didn’t need to book ala cartes, you could just walk up and get in, the food there was also good. The only one you needed to book was the steak house and for a steak in Mexico it was actually pretty good. The rooms were ok, dated and the bed was as hard and uncomfortable but ?‍♀️. The shower was small  [... read more]but we are used to staying at a Riu palace where this is bottom of the scale. This resort only has a few ocean view rooms so if you think you are getting one don’t be fooled. All the rooms that view the pool are family rooms with two queen beds, all the other rooms face palm trees which makes no sense because the disco it right by family rooms. This resort has ALOT of children and 20-25 yr olds so if that’s what you’re into then this is the place for you. If you want to hang around mature older 30-60 yr olds you can go next door to the Riu Vallarta and swim in there adult pool. Jalisco does not have an adult pool. If you are looking for an even older crowd that goes to bed early and reads books go to the palace. All in all this is a good resort it’s just not what were thought we were going to. Would I come back?…. Yes if I was younger and with a family for sure, next time I will go to Vallarta…. If I can make a suggestion… go on the rhythm of the night excursion (Riu Jalisco wanted $159 and vip 199, book it at Vallarta and you can get it for $145) Amazon show though

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Not as advertised

This resort was probably a great place to vacation when it was built in 2006 but today it was pretty dissapointing. Starting with the good. The food was pretty good, especially the specialty restaurants. The staff were very nice and the grounds were beautiful. There were ample shuttles from the lobby to the beach/ pool areas. Now the not so good. The beach is unswimmable. Some years ago the beach was destroyed, probably due to heavy weather, so currently there are large sandbags and some dock st [... read more]ructures offshore. The result is the sargassum weeds become trapped in the swimming area and make for a brown murky mess. Most of the beaches in this area are the same. As for the rest of the resort, it's pretty tired and needs more than maintenance. Depending where you are walking on the resort there is an occasional wiff of sewage. The room needs help as well, tarnished mirrors, worn fixtures, sloppy patch jobs and paint on the walls and ceiling. We made many calls to the front desk for towels, water, a working clock radio, missing patio chair, etc. Having stayed at a few all inclusives over the years, getting loung chairs around the pools is always a challenge. But at Bluebay there are clearly nowhere near enough and plenty of empty space. We did not feel like getting up at 6am (literally) to "claim" the few loungers by placing towels on them so we chose to carry our patio chairs to the pool every day. Had we done our due diligence and read more reviews online we would not have chosen this resort.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Great place for a kid vacation!

Crown Paradise Long review (stayed with children) This is a family resort. If you don’t have children, I would not recommend it. That being said, it’s a GREAT family resort. Rooms - we had room 2103. All rooms have an ocean view. We were a party of 10 people in 3 rooms and we were all happy with our rooms (1202, 1203 and 1212). They were clean (and cleaned every day). I was worried about the “very hard beds” I’d read about in reviews but we all agreed that they were firm but still com [... read more]fortable. We had a cot rolled in for one of our kids and that mattress was very soft. Bathrooms were a little small for 4 people but a minor inconvenience. Lots of hot water! Food - maybe the biggest downfall. As everyone mentions, the reservation system for the A La Cartes is awful. So hard to get a spot (must literally submit at 8:00am) and then you still won’t usually get a time you want. And it stinks to have to set an alarm on vacation. The buffet line ups are also quite long - fyi breakfast buffet available in convention centre too - quicker but fewer options). Our server in the buffet (La Palapa) was David most days and he was a highlight of the trip. He worked hard to find ways to seat our large group of 10 together when we he could. The buffet food was repetitive for all meals but with some variations. The ice cream is the same flavors every day. The A La Cartes were… okay? Their beef in all of them was tough, or not cooked as ordered or very fatty. Some “great” foods were the clams and the tuna salad dish at the French restaurant, the ribs, the crab cakes and the “beef in its own juice” at Wayne’s Boots, the churros at the Mexican restaurant. Hard to find good desserts as they’re mostly some variation of a gelatin dessert (except the apple turnovers and the pineapple upside down cake at the buffet). Pools - GREAT! We spent our days in the crown shaped big pool as it was quieter than the big infinity pool. Tough to find shade sometimes so that’s unfortunate. The covered pool is the only one that’s heated, i believe, but we all happily swam in the other one :) The waterslides were great too - such a great bonus! Kids club - Kids only went once but they had a BLAST! We had two sets of kids (cousins) so they mostly played with another but if that wasn’t the case, they would have spent more time making friends there. The staff are wonderful. The first time you take your kids you have to fill out a waiver hit after that it’s an easy drop off. Beach - it was mostly red flags while we were there. So, big waves. Kids had fun playing/wave jumping where it was shallow but I wouldn’t suggest it for swimming. However, I’ve heard it can be calmer at other times. The sand is so soft and doesn’t get hot. You can walk down to the left to the “Playa Delfines” beach too - we did this once but found it pretty much like the beach at the resort (and it’s a hot 5 minute walk…). We went to the shows every night except one. They were a mix of okay and great. Michael Jackson was awesome (heads up that “zombies” come out during Thriller and may worry kids), as was Disney night. We read lots of worrisome reviews before we came. I think it’s a matter of where you set your bar. Were there imperfections? Of course, especially if you look for them. Overall though it was a fantastic vacation and we’d definitely return. The staff are wonderful, so helpful and friendly. There is SO much to do. Tips - Bring some string and clothes pins to make a makeshift drying line on your balcony because your bathing will never dry in your bathroom. Foam party is Monday at 4 (probably). Mixed responses to when it is but we missed it sadly. Ask everyday :)
