Dreams Onyx Resort and Spa: Amazing resort.

Miss this resort already. I swim many times per day. Very clean, beautiful, very good food, friendly staff. Wi-Fi is everywhere with good speed. We went to Breathless resort few times ( adults only) for breakfast and lunch. Food the same, as good as at the Onyx. Will come again.

Royalton CHIC Punta Cana: Very good resort

It was a great experience at Royalton Chic! Very clean rooms and entire resort; friendly staff, excellent entertainment team . Beach is absolutely amazing! Good is a bit limited variety but good quality

Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana: A smaller excellent beach resort

We had a very enjoyable time at Jewel Palm Beach. It is a smaller resort than many in the area. We found it to be well laid out and to have everything we wanted. We stayed in the Club area and appreciated its adult and family pools and lounges. The resort is unusual in that it does not use a bracelet system nor does it require reservations for its a la carte restaurants. Melia Caribe Beach Resort: Friendly Resort

Excellent resort overall. Transportation within the resort could have been better organized considering the large area to be covered particularly for people with physical disabilities. The restaurants were excellent . Additional barbecue areas in the pool and beach areas would have been nice.

Blue Bay Villas Doradas: Great Resort

Great resort location, beautiful beach. Rooms were clean, food was amazing. The staff were all great and friendly. The entertaiment staff were amazing, always smiling. the were awesome at getting people involved. I would return and defenetly recommend this resort. Only Cons is not enough beach towels and beach chairs.

Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Very good resort

We just got back from a week spending in Bahia Principe and we truly enjoyed our stay! The rooms are a bit out dated but the layout and energy were amazing, the resort is gorgeous, staff, service, food, facility, beaches were perfect! It was our second time there and we will definitely go back again, hoping next time the rooms will be renovated! Keep up the good work! Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Nice Resort

Lots of great things about this resort a few being pizza and charcoal hotdogs and burgers at one of the pools everyday alacartes are good except the fish market restaurant. It’s a big resort so you need to take the trolleys everywhere food in the buffet is good nice variety lobster 2 nights a week rooms were quiet and clean however outdated.

Playabachata Hotel: Beautiful beach

Had an enjoyable stay at Playabachata. Pros: - beautiful, spacious resort with many areas for sitting and walking - beautiful, sandy beach with opportunity to walk the shore - nice pool area - well kept grounds - fairly comfortable rooms - some desk staff and buffet staff very efficient and helpful - wide variety of decent food at buffet - variety of activities/entertainment throughout the day and night - evening shows were usually good - variety of activities for children throughou [... read more]t the day and evening - a number of bars in different locations Cons: - if room is close to main stage area, dj's chatter over the music is loud until about1:00 a.m. - on some days, towels taken from room in the morning (one dirty towel was left) and clean towels were not provided until much later in the afternoon or evening (towels are sent off site to be laundered) - in the case of heavy rain, no umbrellas are provided and the only way to get to the buffet, restaurants or bars is to walk outside - booking the a la carte restaurants was unnecessarily tedious - we arrived Thursday evening and when we attempted to book, we were told we couldn't book until Sunday; guests had to line up early in the morning to book; we could only book one slot at each of the two restaurants; time slots we wanted were not available even though we got there early (many other resorts allow a simple phone call to the restaurant to book and there is no limit) - some entertainment staff's interactions with guests were inappropriate and made some guests feel uncomfortable - some buffet staff were far from helpful... borderline rude - some days clean beach towels were not available for the entire day

Blue Bay Villas Doradas: Decent

Just got back from a week here. The food was better than I was expecting, 4/5. The rooms are very basic, clean but outdated. If you’re picky about rooms/bathrooms, best to avoid. The grounds and beach are very well kept. The entertainment was decent for such a small resort, although there is nothing going on past 10/10:30. The music at the late night disco/ beach bar was pretty terrible. Way way too loud, and bad playlists. Most people avoided it. The spa pool and volleyball pool were nice, the swim up bar pool needed better maintenance/cleaning. Getting lounge chairs by the pool was an issue unless you got there pretty early. Overall a decent place for the price and the food/staff were great.

Melia Punta Cana Beach Wellness Resort Adults: Amazing!!

Beautiful grounds, great rooms! Food was excellent and very friendly staff!! Close to the airport Lots of activities Very nice beach with lots of great lounge chairs with extra thick cushions Pool was amazing

I gave a 3.5 stars to this resort just because of the beach. Would probably be a 2.5 or 3 stars. The room was ok. We were there 15 years ago and it had not changed. It is a rundown hotel. Need a lot of fixing. Lack of staff. Music is very loud at the pool or on the beach. Not even able to listen to my music with my headphones. If you don't smoke you will have to smell the cigarette everywhere. There is always someone smoking. people were dropping hash and cigarette butts on the pool deck. Unless [... read more] you got to the a la carte restaurant, the food was warm or cold at the buffet. A few people got food sick including my wife. Unless you get early, all the chairs were reserved before we got there. The staff was friendly. If you wanted some quiet time, there is a small pool with only a short number of chairs available or you had to walk on the beach away from the resort. There is a jacuzzi but it is pool temperature so no one uses it. Most of the people were 55 and over and young family no need for extra loud music or base.

Bahia Principe Explore Turquesa: Absolute Garbage

Our party arrived on December 19,2023 and upon arrival check in was horrid. We were checked in without wrist bands and the staff was going to use a sharpe marker to change the bracelet colour. The first night we ventured to the buffet as obviously we couldnt have an la carte booked that soon so we utilized Turquesa's buffet. I was so disappointment with the buffet. Here you seem so happy to see the menu that includes tacos,ice cream, chessy fries etc. However you can only oder a hotdog,hamburger,french fries and sometimes chicken nuggets and empanadas. After ordering everything on the menu the only time you could ingest the food is if you had been drinking otherwise it was not edible. We searched everynight for any souce of night life and nothing this resort is very quiet like ghost town at night probably because everyone is in their room vomiting from all the bad food that they ingested during the day this was or had come to our attention when we were in our room and we could hear people in the surrounding rooms vomiting we actually had to call the reception to do something about it. Even when eating at the restuarant people were vommiting it was disgusting. The beach is so far away and have shuttles that are labelled L1,L2,L2 etc however you could wait all day for one to shuttle you to the beach. When you do get to the beach there are a.selected few beach chairs if any. The staff made it seem like we were bothering them and on several occassions the staff were rude until you spole their language then the attitude shifted. Our group needed bug spray and it cost us $20 usd The only good entertainment is once a week on a thursday and you have to pay extra for it. The worst and most disgusting was having cochroaches in the buffet area and in and around the bar by the pool. The staff did not seem to care as people were videoing their disgust. I have travelled many times to punta cana and never had an experience like this one. Avoid at all costs . The cheaper is not always better In this case the more expensive your trip the less you get there..if you have a reservation please.rebook somewhere else you will thank me later .

Several restaurants (Mexican, Dominican, Italian, French). Food was a little hit or miss (even the same place, and same dish between 2 nights). The hits were fantastic, but some of the food was inconsistent. (Always something to eat of course). The buffet which is always an option was quite good with a lot of variety. The included options to go for a catamaran, boogie board, wind surf, etc. was very good. Mall was a 5 minute walk away (ATM, liquor and many touristy shops). Room was good. AC was sufficient. The safe in the room malfunctioned a couple of times requiring us to call the desk, but they were prompt in getting things sorted out. It was helpful to know a little bit of Spanish, but not required by any means. Overall a very good stay.

Impressive Premium Punta Cana: Impressive Premium Beautiful and clean resort

Beautiful and clean. Entertainment staff especially Raiza, were great and tried to get everyone involved. Premium bartender Juan was amazing and lots of fun. Lots of food. Pools, beach and the whole resort is very clean.

Punta Cana Princess: Can't wait to return!

If you are looking for a relaxing, sun soaking, entertaining, beach walking holiday enjoying genuine hospitality THIS IS THE SPOT FOR YOU! Even before we left, my emails to the resort were answered right away, thank you to Carlo Del Risco (front desk Mgr) and Alexander Gomez (Guest Service Manager), you both made our experience special even before we arrived! This resort is clean, intimate, quiet with latin music always in the background, on the beach, with beautiful grounds. Grand Palladium Select Bavaro: A BIG HIGH FIVE ? and ?

Been at the Palladium 5 times over a 15 year period and again we will give it ?????????? stars. The grounds and beach are tropical and spotless, ocean is colourful. The selection of food/deserts is through the stratosphere, we’re not kidding. Kinda crazy but our diet is plant base and there is no shortage of choice for us. Grilled steak, chicken, pork, seafood with fresh bread/buns or hamburgers, hotdogs and pizza, this place is just crazy with what it offers. Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Disappointed

Not at all what we expected. People smoking everywhere, unfriendly and unhelpful staff, poor service and mediocre food. Beach was nice and pools ok but not a place I would ever return to. The food was just OK but nothing special. The pool bars ignored you unless you gave them big tips. Room cleaning was a joke.

Lopesan Costa Bavaro Resort: Great resort

This resort is an excellent value for money and the unique adds to the experience. Although the unique doesn’t maybe give you as much as other “step above” clubs offered it was definitely worth the extra that we paid. The beaches are excellent, the unique beach buffet was great and we really enjoyed the lobster tails/scallops and steak offered for lunches as well as the service. Jose our butler was amazing and checked in multiple times a day to ensure we had everything we needed. I found all al la carte restaurants to be very good and easy to book.
