Playa Cayo Santa Maria: Second visit-still would revisit

Playa Cayo Santa Maria is my favourite all inclusive resort. The food is very good (by Cuba standards at least) and the drinks are made strong. There are a wide variety of restaurants with the a la carte dinner restaurants. I prefer the buffet style personally, but that's just me. All the staff are so friendly. Any special requests I made were fulfilled with a smile. I made a fair amount of requests as it was my first time travelling with a child, I went with my 10 month old. They had  [... read more]a nice playpen for a crib for her. The room was spacious enough not to feel too cramped with the playpen set up. I went during the slow season which was nice because there was never any difficulties in finding a set of loungers by one of the many pools or the beach. One of the only problems with the beach was that there was a bit of a rocky hill to get down, so my Mother who has Mobility problems was not comfortable getting down to the ocean. I remember other reviews stating issues with chipped tiles and the like but my room was in good repair. Also be advised there is about an hour and a half bus ride from the airport to the resort.

I will tell what happened to me at this hotel to be fair i arrived with my daughter who required to have a room in the 1st floor which she got the second day of our arrival as soon as we entered the room we found two insects which was disgusting so we asked for spraying the room then my daughter asked the room service for a bottle of water to feed her baby which we got after 2 days and after asking for it tens of times and in this time we had to share the bottles provided to my sons room after t [... read more]hat noone came to clean my daughter 's room for almost the first 2 days The other thing is the restaurant which was full of flies where we couldn't eat our meals and i had a stomach flu which was probably due to the dirty in the place.

Grand Memories Santa Maria: Ok Resort

The dining room was full of bugs and there were no good food varieties. I am usually not picky when it comes to food but at the end of the week we were all sick from the food served there. The rooms were clean but seem like they were not renovated for a long time. For someone who wants to spend most or some of their day in the room watching tv or whatever I don't recommend this hotel.

Valentin Perla Blanca: Amazing Resort !!!!

We liked everything about our vacation. The hotel is very spacies, impressive lobby, bars, sitting are, clean room, great food. We are beach people but I have to admit I was impressed by the pool area. The beach is very long and wide - a lot of space for walking. Staff very, very helpful and friendly. I would recommend the hotel to all.

Melia Las Dunas: Love this resort

This was my second visit in 3 months and will be back, love the staff and everything about the hotel. The food is always good, the staff are always super friendly and helpful. I will definitely be returning!

ground very good, food very good, all people work very friendly. and room very clean. only many mosquito and flies.only one night from my bath room has cockroach toilet paper a little bit hard, every thing very good.

Grand Memories Santa Maria: Good resort

Very good resort. Extremely big and clean. The food is typical Cuban food, but you can always find something to eat. The beach is fantastic with clear blue waters and lots of fish. Great for fishing !

Melia Cayo Santa Maria: lovely resort

really enjoyed my stay there. the staff were incredibly friendly and went all their ways to serve us. rooms were huge n clean. beach is stunning. nothing to complain about except for flies and mosquites as hurricane season is starting.

Hotel Roc Casa del Mar: Ok resort

The hotel overall is okay. The grounds seem like a work in progress. The food is woefully short of seasoning and sometimes salty or lack of salt. Seasonings like onion, escallion, thyme, scotch bonnet pepper, pimento, garlic, ginger in various combinations can make a meal fit for a king. The entertainment is elementary, I suggest you get a few professionals sometimes. English is the world's third largest language so your program manager should ensure the programs are diverse. Hotel Roc Casa del Mar: Nice but not trained for the job

Horrible greedy staff got. My stuff stolen from my room never again 2weeks of he'll boring nothing to do but go to the beach and sleep everyone was drunk most of the time Cuba I won't go back sadly it was my worse trip

Dhawa Cayo Santa Maria: This resort is worth every penny!

This resort exceeded my expectation! The food was great (a little repetitve, but I can manage for a week). Room is awesome, comfy beds, great shower. Also good customer service! staffs are all very friendly. The beach is sooooooo beautiful. Bring your snorkelling gear with you as they don't offer any rentals.

Valentin Perla Blanca: Incredible Resort, Spectacular Beach!!

We traveled with my family for the first time to Cuba, and we had amazing vacations. The service in Valentin Perla Blanca was exceptional!!! From reception to restaurants, entertainment, and housekeeping were always friendly, attentive, and ready to provide a great and warm service. The Beaches were spectacular the best beach I have ever been, water crystal clear and sand super soft, very natural and clean beach. We had the opportunity to walk almost half kilometer and the water just get more be [... read more]autiful! We also tried all the water sport provided and had a great time always at the beach. The only suggestion I will have for this great resort is to have a better disco, since there were no disco they only had a room full of chairs and all lights on, not very appealing for a dance night. Valentin Perla Blanca: Hotel and service is going down!

Hotel is having problems maintaining the infrastructure. No hot water or poor mixing valve in the shower. Telephone doesn't work. We had great problem with food; great diahrea problem that lasted for 5 days!

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: The best resort in Cuba!

It is my fourth time going to this resort with family and friends. I have been in Cuba 17 times and i surely can say this resort is one of the best. I cannot have enough of the beautiful beach and the gardens of the hotel. The staff is very nice and the hotel is very clean. I highly recommend this hotel, especially for people that like privacy. The name of the hotel used to be Royal Hideways and it is as such.

Hotel Roc Casa del Mar: Great Resort

We stayed at Ocean Casa del Mar from June 3-10, 2017. The resort was beautiful and clean. The staff were all wonderful and nice and the beach was amazing! We went during their low season which was great because there were no crowds. The food was good and the service impeccable. My kids loved the kids club and the cool towel characters our housekeeping made for us each day. I would definately recommend this resort.

Roc Lagunas del Mar: A wonderful trip!

This hotel was great! We went for a week (3 adults including my Mom, our 3 year old daughter and 5 month old son) and the hotel was quite empty. Which was a plus for us, since we were able to enjoy the hotel without it being so busy. The grounds are beautiful, very lush and we were very fortunate to see 3 hummingbirds on three separate days. We had a la carte dinners every night (no dinner buffets because there wasn't enough guests to open a dinner buffet) Our favourite restaurants were La Med and Caribeno. We also had dinner at Crazy Lobster, and Fusion (Fusion was our least favourite but good to try it out) They also have a 24hr snack bar, which is very close to the pool. There was a decent menu for the snack bar. Pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, etc. Pool was nice, our daughter loved it! Beach was ok. Rooms were nice. Our washroom was quite large with a large walk in shower, no tub. Our hotel departure was at 345pm and room check out was 12pm. We asked to have a late room checkout for our 5 month, so he would have a room with A/C to nap in. The front desk was very generous and we were given a late room checkout, complimentary. We are appreciative of the kind offer from the front desk. The resort staff are very friendly! Don't forget to try the little bbq stand they set up near the pool during lunch. Try the chicken sandwich!

The hotel is modern and comfortable. The beach just a little narrow. Excellent customers service!! Employees very friendly and helpful. About the food, no great experience... But the rest was good. I would recommend it.

Valentin Perla Blanca Paraiso: Great resort

had a great time. Resort was beautiful. Lobby was very comfortable and airy. Food was good, had no complaints. Rooms nice, bed very comfortable. Buffet good selection. A la cartes pretty good. Pool nice, bars provided good service. Beach beautiful!

Gran Muthu Cayo Santa Maria: A Hidden Gem

I thought that the Golden Tulip was amazing. The staff were very friendly. I loved the food selection and the little pizzeria on the beach. The lay out of the golden tulip is by far the best. The views of the ocean from the pool is divine. I also enjoyed the entertainment and the special dinners the resort puts on once a week by the pool area. It is by far the most beautifu [... read more]l beach with crystal clear water and powder white sand for miles. The fish in the water are so cute when you feed them bread. I also loved the free hobby cat sail boat rides and the music and entertainment at ocean and pool side. I can't say enough amazing things about this hidden gem. My only dislike was the mosquitoes but honestly they do everything in there power to rid them. The location of hotel is surround by miles and miles or marsh land mosquitoes are bound to happen. Also there are flamingos right outside the hotel. So cool If you are looking for rest and relaxation this is the place. We did find entertainment outside the resort at the disco and in the town so there isn't a lack of things to keep you busy. I stayed for two weeks and wasn't bored at all. I highly recommend the Golden Tulip.

Roc Lagunas del Mar: Beautiful resort

The resort it is fairly new and it has a beautiful layout. The room are spacious, bathrooms are big and a nice size balcony. You have everything you need in the room: coffee maker, LCD LG TV with USB play, lots of Canadian, Spanish, Italian, french channels.
