There are a lot of amenities and activities. It is a huge resort with many paths to get where you want to go or just want to go for a walk. The pools are clean and the beach is as well. There are a few specialty restaurants besides the buffet.

The hotel was amazing, staff extremely friendly. Stephany and Roberto brought a lot of entertainment! I used the gym daily and was impressed by the upkeep and sanitizing. Air Transat deserves a whooping zero. Our rooms weren’t ready, we had to be moved to ones beside each other. We didn’t get seats besides each other on the flight there because the app crashed, waited 3 hours and still unable to talk to someone. Ramon refused to refund my Mom’s ticket after she was throwing up for two days with a migraine. Absolutely ridiculous and lack of compassion for someone who was ill and notified this the day prior. Will not book with air Transat again and will be sharing our terrible experience. Completely disheartening that my 64 year old Mother was refused a refund, makes me feel sick to my stomach that they would take advantage of people like that. Stay away.

Lopesan Costa Bavaro Resort Spa and Casino: Amazing Resort!

This hotel was wonderful. It is fairly new so very clean and beautiful. The grounds are impeccable, with many gardens and water fountains. The rooms are large, clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed the unique experience with a swim up room and it was excellent! There are many restaurants and so much variety of foods which was all delicious. The pool and beach were wonderful. Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Beautiful as always

Comparing our trip in 2019 to the trip this year it seemed as though there was less interaction from servers poolside and few of the alacartes were disappointing, specifically MEAT, as we all were excited to eat there. The only other thing I noticed were a lot of people from the other Bahia resorts coming to Esmeralda’s pool. Other than that the resort was as beautiful as before. Finest Punta Cana: Fantastic Resort!

Beautiful modern resort! We stayed with our 2 children aged 3 and 10 months. All of the staff were incredibly kind and friendly especially with our kids. We stayed in the family suite which was beautifully decorated, very spacious and had a seperate room for our children to sleep so my husband and I could enjoy our evenings while being in the same suite uninterrupted. We absolutely loved this feature. The pools and the grounds of the resort are impeccable. The efforts to keep things clean and sanitized were very apparent. During our stay occupancy was low and we often had the pools to ourselves which was amazing. Although the food wasnt the best we have had while in the Caribbean everything well was made, generous portions and fresh. We enjoyed steak and lobster on our first night and it fantastic! I would highly recommend this resort for families, and couples looking for a relaxing getaway.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Ambar Pool

The hotel staff were very diligent in keeping the resort sanitized but the pool and beach area was a different story. The Ambar pool was very murky and there was a definite sewage odour. We spent 6 of our 7 days at the Aquamarine pool which was crystal clear. The only problem was that we had to walk a fair distance and was not near our room if we needed anything. The rooms were nice and clean. It was definitely not a 5 star hotel. I would give it a 3.5 or 4 at best.

Royalton Bavaro Resort and Spa: Excellent!!!

We went there to celebrate my daughter’s 10th birthday and everything was amazing. We loved everything about the resort. Thank you so much for making lots of unforgettable memories and a woNderful vacation for us. We loved the swim up bars at the pools and also the beautiful lazy river. The surfing was a great experience for my daughter and me, we used the water park at Royalton resort which is very close to Royalton Bavaro and we had so much fun there and we could eat lunch there by our day p [... read more]ass. The entertainment, salsa dance at the beach, white night beach party, foam party, food, and all other things were great! The only thing is that there was a lot of weeds at the beach so I did not really like to go swimming in the ocean. We did not have diamond club and still enjoyed lots of drinks, foods, entertainment and so much more. I did not see any much difference with having it! Go there and enjoy your vacation at paradise!

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Very Nice Beach and Property!

This was our first vacation in Punta Cana. We have vacationed in DR in the past but we did not enjoy the vendors constantly intruding and interrupting our time on the beach. This time was quite different, they were regularly walking by offering their products but they were not annoying or intrusive. The beach and ocean were fabulous! Since the resort is older the grounds have mature trees and bushes and flower beds are exceptional. We ate at a la carte restaurants 13 out of 14 nights, they were all good to extremely good. This is the main reason we booked at this resort was for the many restaurant options and we were not disappointed. We would stay here again!

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Luxury resort

There was a problem with getting the rooms we paid for. After our Air Canada rep spoke to the concierge and continued insistence it was kind of corrected. Language barriers. Getting around a problem. They really need to spend time with first time guests showing them around. We spent time helping other guests to find their way. Great food, safe, clean, great accommodations, everything was excellent! Beautiful place will definitely go back next year.

Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: Beautiful Hotel

This being our 2nd visit to the Majestic Colonial, we had a point of reference for comparison. Some of the differences were clearly due to Covid-19. There was no Paella lunch on the beach. The daily beach BBQ was extremely streamlined in selection, but the burgers and fixings that were provided were delicious. Ten years ago there were also opportunities to sign up for special dinners on the beach (not the romantic dinners) We had several different themed dinners on our last visit. The [... read more] buffet, while there was a great deal of selection, the signage was not very accurate and sometimes not there at all. For example, when making a salad for myself at the salad bar, I used what was labeled as Ranch dressing, but looked like French. It was, in fact, hot sauce making the salad inedible and my mouth burning. There wasn't any cohesion in the item selections, as far as themes so you knew you were eating Chinese food, for example. Of course, there were the tradition items that were offered daily. However, with the signage being non existent, and my experience with the salad dressing, I hesitated to try some of the newer items. I feel this probably led to a lot of food waste. The carving station had lovely meats daily. The breakfast buffet was really good. The desserts were absolutely AMAZING, works of art and almost too pretty to eat! The a la cart restaurants we went to (Steak House and Tapenyaki) were very good. I feel that during our last visit the Mexican restaurant was also the Italian restaurant on alternate nights. This would have been nice to have at the resort. The food service certainly tried to make sure there was something for everyone.

Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana: Great resort

This resort was amazing. A week in paradise. The food the drinks the beach the pool - all great. Would definitely come back. Amazing staff as well , nightly entertainment was excellent. Kids had so much fun.

Melia Punta Cana Beach Wellness Resort Adults: Fabulous resort

Gorgeous grounds, beautiful white sandy beach, Fabulous pools with lots of cots to choose from at all times Many good restaurants, The Level is definitely worth it. Quimera a-la-carte restaurant is excellent. Great choices in restaurants. Good entertainment in the Lobby Bar. Excellent spa pool. Rooms are modern, spacious, and perfect. Bar fridge topped-up daily. Excellent service, butler very eager to please. We look forward to returning.

Royalton Hideaway Punta Cana: Amazing trip!

We stayed at the Royalton as a family of four with two kids ages 6 and 13. Overall our experience was wonderful from the moment of check-in to checkout. We stayed in a 1 bedroom diamond club room with swimout which was the best decision. Having the convenience of the swimout was a wonderful addition allowing us to spend more time together. Food, restaurants, service and shows were all great and catered to all ages. From a COVID perspective, not really any measures in place anymore but we felt s [... read more]afe. The resort was well maintained and staff were friendly and very accommodating.

Royalton Splash Punta Cana: The resort was ok at best

Rooms were nice people were not the nicest very rude I though some people were awesome but they were over shadowed by the rude ones like we were inconveniencing them most of them were in the buffet. The locals being there for 2 days really sucked at no one paid attention to us at all just the locals. I wouldn’t have went there if I knew that . It was our 50th anniversary and we couldn’t be more pleased with our selection of this hotel especially the staff who were very friendly and helpful no matter how small the issues the ambiance cleanliness were all above board we would highly recommend this hotel to everyone thanks for the memories

The hotel was very good, I was impressed by the staff, very accommodating, respectful and entertaining Juan Luis really made it a special stay for us The food had a well put together variety, very tasty. The entertainment group especially the guys on the floor mingling and dancing with people were special

Swim up rooms are fantastic! The beach is beautiful. The food, restaurant choices are great. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The coffee cafe is an added bonus for those who love their morning coffee or latte! So clean! Beautiful gardens.

Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: Amazing Resort

The resort was always clean and tidy, the staff were very professional and friendly. The food was really good, the animations and shows were great. We had a really nice time staying at Majestic Colonial!

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Great vacation

This hotel is very clean and the employees are very helpful. The check in staff for me were amazing as check in was easy and quick. The overall resort is very big but there is always trams running to get you to where you want to go. They sanitize all the time and when you get up from your seat at the buffets or restaurants there is someone right there sanitizing. The food was amazing and every a la carte we went were fantastic. The service in the al a carte was top notch and I never left hungry. [... read more] Travel agent Heather recommended this resort and she was right as you are right on the beach the there is so many options for pools if you go that route..

Royalton CHIC Punta Cana: Chiq was really nice

We liked the resort. It's small and seems like 5 minutes walk to restaurants and beach (and we were at the back of the resort). We were there for 10 days and could have been there longer. Spent most of the time on the beach walking for 5-10km every day. Beach is windy constantly and when it was cooler we went to the pool. Restaurants are nice (Italian, Buffet and Indian were our preferred places) - did not have to book them ahead of time. Some of the waiter staff were not trained on the menu options. As a vegan, I was able to have options for breakfast, lunch and dinners every day. If there weren't options, the chef was helpful in preparing a veggie dish just for me.
