Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Beautiful resort

Very clean, the food was excellent. The pool and deck were cleaned and scrubbed every day. The staff were very friendly and were accommodating to our needs. The only issue I had was getting around. I have issues walking and our room was a good walk to the restaurants. It would have been great to have a room closer to them. The beach is ok but we spent most of our ti.e at the pool.

Dreams Rose Hall: Great choice

Definitely an enjoyable stay. The water slide and the lazy river was such a nice touch! Beach had lots of waves while we were there but the water was very warm. Lots of seating available at the beach and pool compared to other resorts. Lots of entertainment options every day! Rooms and facilities were a little older and generally hospitality was good. It was very hard to get drinking water as the fridges in the room didn’t supply much, and the bottles you got from the bar were very small. Riu Ocho Rios: Rockin at the Riu!

Holiday with my brother at the Riu Ocho Rios March 2025. Beautiful clean resort. Had a family room with 2 queen beds on the 2nd floor facing beautiful courtyard with pond, and view of pool and Caribbean Sea thru the palm trees . Very spacious and modern. Double sinks with large shower and amenities. Separate room with toilet. Cleaned immaculately daily , with all towels replenished. special touches of towel designs and flower petals left on bed and curtain sheers draped fancy. Lots of hot [... read more] water. Air conditioner worked perfectly . Never saw any bugs inside our room. Sheets changed often. Left tips each morning for housekeeping. Food was tasty and lots of variety in main buffet. Tried the a la carte restaurants as well , with our favourite being the Kulkarium which served lobster on a bed of delicious rice ! Went there twice ! lol. 5 pools all cleaned daily and surrounding decks power washed every morning . Bars served variety of drinks both alcoholic and non , along with smoothies. Large signs with drinks name and all ingredients which made for easy choices. Entertainment was very good with karaoke night being the highlite especially once my brother performed ! After that , we were constantly approached throughout our week stay by other guests wanting to talk to him , which led us in meeting people from all over the world and having great conversations. The beach was beautiful and we walked it at least 4 times each day with a round trip from end to end being 1 mile we were told. Overall had a great trip at a beautiful hotel. I felt safe and the drinking water was safe to drink and the communication was very easy as they speak English. Oh and electrical outlets are the same as Canada.

Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach: Not as good as 6 years ago!

Most things were good. There was an issue with hot water, there wasn't any. When you took a shower unless you balled up the bath mat against the shower door water would go every where. We called maintenance, they came and did nothing about it. The shower didn't drain well so that was likely the issue, which with some regular maintenance could be fixed.

Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: Back for 7th Time

As always we take a ride with Eric's Chillout Tours 1 876-790-3154 from the airport to whatever resort we are going to. On arrival we meet out buds the Valets Dale and Troy big smiles and hugs. We then check in with Corra who again welcomes us back and there is Orlando with a big smile. It feels like home here. Check in very smooth. We ate most meals at the buffet. They asked did we want anything not out. We got so many smiles and hugs from the Buffet staff, All our hearts go to Simone, Nataha. Titana Yonika and Gloria (who first started when Iberostar first opened) She was a hard working girl who went from cleaning to now working in the buffet. I like when they hire within. Again big smiles. The drinks and service with a smile was also 5 star the big boss Wallen does great with his workers Melissa, Jules, Errol Rickie Sandy Christina Dahjay and Doreen. They have nice people who bartend and can talk and tell stories and are always having fun. We had our room cleaned every 2 days. They did it early in the morning (around 10:00) which I liked. They also had big smiles thanks Kamoya and Paula. The room is so great, big tub, big bed good aur, nice balcony. We spent most days at the activity pool. It was always clean I seen Ty and Dijon always cleaning and smiling. It was quite, service was good and we had nice shade. I went snorkeling with the Life Guard Norris. We saw Lion Fish, Puffer Fish Sting Ray and so much more. We just walking in the water and wow. Jamaicans are like a mirror if you are rude and not happy that is what you get. I get smiles, hugs and laughs so if you see a problem maybe look in the mirror. Anyone who says Jamaicans are rude is WRONG. We will be back for 2 weeks again Feb

Azul Beach Resort Negril: 3.5 star resort with amazing beach and a long bumpy ride to it.

Room- furniture is outdated. Bed was comfy as were the pillows and blankets. Mini bar was stocked daily. Towels and toiletries were always on hand and the room was very tidy. Patio was very noisy from traffic as the road is very close to the resort. Food & Drinks- bar staff were very nice and drinks were good. We did the snack bar ( burgers and fries) ok. We just did the buffet the rest of the week as it was good selection and tasty. It can be quite busy at times. Staff are awesome.  [... read more]Beach- Hands down the best beach I have ever walked on . Amazing sunsets. Lots of boats on the water ( vendors are present all day). Not lots of shade or loungers so you need to get up early or go with out ( lots need replacing) sometimes you had to wait for towels. Entertainment- We went twice (early birds) middle of the road meh. We got a great deal so we were very happy with our vacation and would go back again

Riu Reggae: Great resort

Service was great, clean hotel, however loud clientele. Would go again anytime. Staff was super firendly and drinks were amazing. No atm at hotel and have to leave the grounds to get cash, would recommend bringning cash.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Beautiful walkable sandy beach!

Arriving at night the trip from the airport was just 20 Km away. Check in was quick and easy. The resort was smaller and more intimate than what we generally go to. We had an ocean view room and was adequate and met all our needs. Room bar fridge and coffee area was always well stocked. With it being a smaller resort there were only 3 a-la-cartes and 1 main buffet, which made it a rather small selection over a period of 10 days. Very nice safe beach to swim at, with a lot of palapas/loungers wit [... read more]h shaded areas. The beach is rather short, should you care walk long distances. Upon check in we were informed of designated smoking areas, unfortunately some guests would smoke anywhere, hence the resort should post no smoking signs around the pool area. Overall the resort personnel were friendly and accommodating. Our concierge Jovayne went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay. We took an excursion to Dunn River Falls and enjoyed it immensely. The 1 hour bus ride gave us the opportunity to see the country side.

Royalton Negril Resort And Spa: Service at Royalton Negril: Disappointing in Some Areas

My stay at Royalton Negril was a mixed experience. While the resort itself is beautiful and some staff members are genuinely friendly and helpful, service inconsistencies and maintenance issues made the trip less enjoyable than expected. One of the biggest disappointments was the condition of the room. The shower was broken, and even when it worked, the water pressure was extremely low, making it frustrating to use. Despite reporting the issue, it took a long time for maintenance to respond,  [... read more]and even after they did, the problem wasn’t fully resolved. For a resort that markets itself as luxury, these types of basic issues shouldn’t be happening. Another downside was the service, which was slow and, at times, lacking altogether. Restaurants had long wait times, and drinks at the bar often took much longer than expected. While some staff members were great, a few were outright rude, which put a damper on the experience. That said, most employees were friendly, but they seemed overwhelmed, likely due to staffing shortages. The resort has potential, and the beach and pools are fantastic, but the combination of room maintenance issues, slow service, and occasional rude interactions made it hard to fully relax and enjoy the trip. If management focused more on staff training and resort upkeep, it could be a much better experience. Until then, I’d only recommend it to those who are patient and willing to overlook some major service flaws.

Royalton Blue Waters: Beautiful resort overall

My family and I had a great stay overall. The resort grounds are so beautiful and cleaned so well. The room layout is one of the best I’ve seen. Every room gets a water view. The food was good but not great. The drinks were awesome and a ton of variety! The restaurants are almost impossible to book and we had a horrible experience at the steak house where we waited over 90 minutes for our food only to come out so bad we couldn’t eat it. The resort workers for the most part are very pleasant but a few workers especially bartenders clearly did not want to be there and were miserable and difficult to interact with. They ruin it for the really hard workers. We did find the entertainment to be not that great especially during the day. Mind you, we were not in the hideaway so perhaps better entertainment there. Overall, we were pleased and enjoyed the impeccable views and gorgeous resort. I would give it 3.7/5 stars overall!

Riu Palace Jamaica: Great place!

Pool bar Winston rocked! The entire entertainment crew blue (genius) red (String bean, Brittney, bubbles to name a few awesome!). All staff are amazing! Food is awesome! Had an amazing time! Meet lots of new friends! First time at a Rui and will for sure return!

Ocean Coral Spring: Beautiful resort!

This resort was absolutely beautiful! Great staff, food, waterpark was so great! It was super clean! The room we were in was super nice and had a joining room which was perfect! I would definitely go back here! The beach is abit rocky but still nice!

I love resort and facilities, however, we wanted room to have view to the sea. Receptionist told me that we were already upgrade to a better, bigger room. Which I believed it was true. This room had no a bad view, but we faced other problems we didn’t expected to find on our vacation. First, room had a door to communicate with another room and noise coming from guests in that room was not pleasant, specially at 1:00 to 3:00 am. Not knowing policies about noise in those premises I didn’t file a c [... read more]omplaint. Those guests left 3 days later after our arrival and situation vbecame bearable. Second and also annoying situation was bathroom with leaking situation which affected walls and water all over the place after taking a shower. We notice a repair next day for which I didn’t file a complaint, however I realized they were patches to fix leaking problem because next shower we would experience the same thing which even ruin walls repair to become messy again. Staff, food, beach and swimming pool were beyond expectations, the only big issue was the bathroom leaking and after arriving back home, we noticed some of our clothing being affected by wall repair, leaving dust and paint on some garments.

Grand Palladium Jamaica: March break trip!

The Hotel was a nice surprise! We arrived on a Wednesday afternoon after a seamless bus ride in an air conditioned bus. My daughter was so excited when she saw the grandeur of the place. We were greeted with warm and friendly staff and excellent service to get us to our beautiful suite. For our first trip to the Caribbean together, this was exactly what we needed. Ocean Coral Spring: Great resort staff were amazing

The hotel was very good. Food was quite good except for the Italian restaurant. The rooms were clean and the air conditioner worked well. The beach is not great. The pool is big and has a lot of chairs but you need to get up very, very early to reserve your spot.

Ocean Eden Bay: Beautiful Resort with One Drawback

I had a fantastic stay at Ocean Eden Bay. The resort’s modern and clean rooms, well maintained grounds, and friendly staff made for a wonderful experience. Plus, the weather was perfect! The food was excellent, and as someone with celiac disease, I really appreciated the gluten-free options available at every restaurant, including the buffet. We never had to worry about reservations—we simply walked up and were seated wherever we wanted to eat. One of my favourite aspects of the resort was [... read more] its walkability. Unlike other large resorts where getting to the beach or a restaurant can take ages, everything here was within a quick 6-7 minute walk, which was a huge plus. The lazy river was also a fun activity, especially in the late afternoon when it was mostly adults. However, my biggest complaint was the shortage of pool and beach chairs. Since I was on vacation, it would have been nice to sleep in until 8:30 or 9 a.m., but by then, every chair was already taken. I spoke with a woman who said she went to the beach at 5:45 a.m., only to find that every chair had been "reserved" with towels. At the pool, a group of five women had taken ten chairs. They offered us one and proceeded to tell us they were saving the chairs for their husbands—who were off golfing for the entire day. This made it nearly impossible to fully relax, as we were constantly on the lookout for available chairs. Even when we did find one, I worried that our belongings might be moved while we were in the water. The resort truly needs to address this issue, as many guests were frustrated by it. Unfortunately, this would be the only reason I might hesitate to return. Otherwise, everything else was absolutely lovely!

The hotel staff were friendly and always cleaning and working to maintain grounds and building. The buffet should offer more child friendly food for dinner as it is a family resort. The entertainment and resort recreational staff were a lot of fun and motivating to join in on trivia aerobics bingo reggae dancing

Rooms were newly renovated. Buffet was great! A la carte restaurants were ok. Staff were friendly. Especially O'Neil and Ruen at the lobby bar. Beach nice and grounds very well kept. We're able to walk quite a distance on beach.
