Royalton CHIC Cancun: Had a decent realxing time

We had a pretty decent time at this hotel. It was very relaxing and the service was great. Although, we did feel that there could have been more activities planned during the day time, maybe we went on weekdays, sometime the whole vibe was dull. Food and drinks were okay, nothing super fancy. Very minimal options for protein if you are vegetarian.

Sandos Finisterra Los Cabos: Great Resort

Our first trip to Cabo was enjoyable thanks to Sandos! The weather was beautiful and humidity was low. The grounds at the resort were clean, the staff were friendly and the food was delicious! I really liked not having to make dinner reservations for any of the 4 restaurants on site, which helped you to relax and not be on timelines while on vacation. While the beach was nice for whale watching, and being mesmerized by the crashing of the waves, it was not swimmable, or easily walkable for that  [... read more]matter. That being said, there was a beautiful swimmable beach approximately 10 minutes away by foot. The snorkeling there was great too, right off the beach. Our room was small at best, but the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the bed was super comfortable. Be careful when booking your room though, because not all rooms have a balcony or a patio. Not having an outdoor space available made hanging our wet swimsuits to dry a challenge. This is a unique resort with rooms facing the Pacific Ocean, and others facing the Marina Cabo San Lucas. Our room faced the Marina and we were able to watch yachts and cruise ships coming in each day. Also, the Marina provides much in the way of shopping, restaurants, bars, water taxis and excursions or even just a simple morning walk if this is what you're looking for. Unfortunately, the pool with the swim up bar was not maintained well, and as the week went on it became cloudier, and dirty. Luckily there are 2 other pools to choose from, so it wasnt a big deal. Overall, it was a fantastic vacation and we would return again!

Grand Decameron Los Cabos: Lovely hotel

Boutique hotel. Lovely rooms. Washrooms all updated. Super staff who are very accommodating! Food was also delicious. Will definitely go back. Great location. Toured both Cabo San Lucas and San José Cabo.

Krystal Grand Nuevo Vallarta: A great vacation! Resort was fantastic!

We were treated well by the staff and some were over the top in caring about service and happy guests. Having wonderful weather provides a great background for an ideal get away however where you stay matters too. The rooms were nice and beds comfortable. All was provided as presented. Amenities good. Getting bottled water was easy once you knew where to ask - only cups of water at pool bar but lobby bar and coffee shot had bottled water as well. We did find various chairs including some behind a desk to move out together and more were brought when we asked. No one seemed to mind when we had a little lobby party!

Bahia Principe Escape Tequila: Very Clean and New

Amazing pool, confusing at first as you get use to where things are. The pool and staff are amazing. Would highly recommend. Nice that it is adult only - but yet close to the next resort over which is family based.

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Very good resort. Just thought the beach was very disapointing.

Just one down fall. The rooms are far from the main areas. .We went to lay on the beach, very windy lots of seaweed. i wish we could have spent time at the beach. Would go at different time of year. Otherwise overall it was worth it.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Lovely Family Resort

My family of seven had a lovely week at Ocean Riviera Paradise. Would definitely consider a fourth stay here. Good food and excellent service! I found the kids pool was very busy but the other pools were more quiet.

Secrets Akumal Riviera Maya: Luxury Beyond Expectation

Thank you Nicole Deforest for organizing the most amazing vacation! Now for the review: this hotel goes above and beyond to ensure a luxurious vacation. The food was incredible, the grounds were spotless and lush and the employees were gracious and incredibly helpful. Antonio and José, the pool’s concierge did an incredible job of ensuring everyone at the main pool had a clean, fresh towel and shade. I loved the fact that there were no “chair wars” at the pool. I should also mention that the resort’s restaurants were very diligent regarding food allergies. At each and every restaurant, my husband‘s anaphylactic allergy was noted on his profile. The nightly entertainment was wonderful and there were many choices. I can’t wait to go back!!

Hotel Dos Playas Faranda: Wonderful People

The resort itself is very tired and could you a complete over haul. The beach is not great and can be quite difficult to get to, very few lounge chairs and very little shade areas. The pools are small so you have to get up very early to get a lounge chair and pray someone doesn't remove your towel. The shows were pretty good at night, but during the day was only water aerobics. Hyatt Vivid Grand Island: Fantastic quality and value

This was our 2nd time and there will be a 3rd, top notch all around, food, service, cleanliness and the best value for a 5 star adults only resort. Not on the beach but the beach club has that Miami vibe that's a 5 minute shuttle ride away. The views are the best in Cancun and your 20 minutes from the airport. A refined and relaxing resort with great staff and diverse activities.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Disappointing!

The food situation is extremely frustrating. You are not allowed to take food out anywhere. You can only get a few fried items on the takeout menu. We were there with the baby and it was extremely difficult to eat when we wanted to. We had to constantly eat the same thing because babies aren’t always able to go into restaurants. Very frustrating!

El Dorado Seaside Palms: El Dorado Palms

Overall, the stay was conventional. There were moments during the vacation when it was impressive, however most of the time I found the resort and employees lacked the five-star polish. The greenery was outstanding, the entire resort itself was clean and my room was well-kept. The food, service, pleasantries from staff, beverages was hit and miss. The gym employee manager Leandro was very engaging and always took the time to chat. My hat goes off to him for his demeanour.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Hidden Gem

2nd stay at this hotel and we have nothing bad to say about it. Good value for your money, ocean front property, lots of food options. Rooms are clean, we had a king size bed, mini fridge in room but not stocked. Large bottle of drinking water left in room daily. Property is kept up, staff are very friendly. Walk or taxi into town for restaurants and markets.

El Dorado Maroma: Tired in need of multiple repairs

The restaurant staff is what makes this place fabulous, management could use a retraining! This resort does not represent trip central at all! Were Constantly harassed of time sharing to get perks, not memorable! Also did not get the room I expected after paying an upgrade ended up in original room before upgrade Monique was awesome she jumped hoops for us

Barcelo Maya Tropical: Nice resort.

It was a very large resort easy to get turned around.The buffet was well stocked .The staff friendly. A little bit of a language barrier.But with a little persistent things were usually figured out.The rooms were spacious and clean. We requested a ground floor but found it damp.we asked to change rooms and the request was granted on the second day.

Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya: Would definitely go back

This hotel was well maintained and staffed with very friendly and helpful people. It was not a party hotel and provided for a laid back and relaxing time. The food was very good and the bars were well stocked. My only suggestions are these: they should have a map of the building posted here and there as navigating to and from the elevators was not simple at first. The Lola Beach should be fully accessible ( I have MS and use a walker and was not able to go in and finally , maybe more s [... read more]eating in the main foyer where there is a nice bar but not much seating. These were not make or break issues just a few things that could be improved upon. I would recommend this resort to friends and would happily go back myself.

El Dorado Seaside Palms: Nearly perfect!

We spent a week here and had a wonderful time. So much so that we didn't feel the need to leave the resort. The food, drinks, activities, ambiance, and the guests were all a pleasure. We stayed in the garden view suites which in hindsight was a good choice because I could imagine the ones that are facing the beach and closer to the amenities could be loud. The food was great, and with the slightest bit of planning you can get everything that you need. The main buffet is smaller than some of the [... read more] larger resort buffets but they have theem nights and we were happy with the selection. The beach is small and there is a crew there the entire time removing the sawgrass. We still quite enjoyed it, and a short walk out there are schools of fish. The resort is beautifully kept, peaceful, and I could see myself back again.

Riu Palace Pacifico: It was an amazing resort.

The hotel was like a palace. Beautiful, clean, spacious. The grounds were beautiful and the view stunning. The food was amazing, however having to be gluten free I feel things could have been labelled better in the buffet. The staff and service was above and beyond.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Amazing staff!

We have been many times to Sian Ka’an Since Hyatt has taken over now. Some of the à la cartes have changed how they serve you there food. Not liking how the tortouga restaurant has a set menu no buffet. Yes you pick your meat you want, but the appetizers is set is all the same, the dessert is the same. No choices. The chairs around the pool are taken in the early morning, with their towels. And they don’t even show up, so I took them off.
