Riu Palace Paradise Island: Great location and beach front

The hotel was great and perfect location. Keep getting power failure and had to operate on generator which was not strong enough for air conditioner, so most night were very hit without the air. Also had to line up for one hour for restaurants for dinners.

Melia Nassau Beach Resort: Not a very good resort.

The ocean, beach sand and water are spectacular. However, the Melia resort a huge let down. Maybe a 3 star. Very very small and really no amenities for kids. Outdated rooms with bare minimum items, no toiletries or 2 towels. No hot water for the first 2 days, you can barely read the H or C for hot or cold water. Only 3-4 restaurants on site which you need to stand in line every morning to make reservations. And if you get in by the time it’s your turn. How is that possible in 2019. The main  [... read more]breakfast buffet is the smallest food area ever and minimal fruit on an island? With no cinnamon, honey or walnuts to ask for every morning, at a resort to not have such basic everyday items. How bizarre? I could go on because the list is that long. The place needs to be shut down and updated because it is stuck in the 90’s. The staff don’t want to be there and don’t care. Serious skeleton front desk staff. My honest opinion,

Breezes Bahamas: Breezes Bahamas

Hotel was very clean and grounds were in excellent condition. Staff were very friendly and courteous. Only complaint was the young people on our floor partying and running through the hall ways at 3.00 am

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Not the Best

The grounds were nice food was great . Room was not good . Windows were full of mactac glue No balcony Facing parking lot One bar only . Very noisy .no entertainment at all Front desk was rude and unacomadating No shops to look at Very boring resort

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Amazing vacation

Grounds were so tidy and resort employees were always willing to help. We felt so welcomed at the riu palace paradise island and we will be back. The food was also delicious and lots of options to choose from.

Went here for my honeymoon and the resort was amazing! Great staff, clean, yummy food, beautiful beach and pools. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation! We will definitely be back here

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Great trip!

Thanks to Candice Anger for all her help with our Bahamas trip! The Riu was a great hotel, all inclusive, the food, beach, pool and resort does not disappoint! I would definitely recommend for a four day getaway!

Grand Hyatt Baha Mar: Beautiful hotel

Pros: - Super nice hotel all around and beautiful grounds - great service. - nice rooms in the East building Cons - not the best beach - food and drinks are super expensive I think the hotel should offer a full board or half board option...or some sort of food and or drink packages

Melia Nassau Beach Resort: Beautiful resort!

We enjoyed all aspects of this resort! The food was delicious, the service was top notch and the beach and pool areas were clean and beautiful. The room was in great location of all areas of resort. Would definitely recommend!

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Not what we expected for a Riu

Relatively small resort. The close proximity to Atlantis and all-inclusive package were the biggest factors in our decision to stay here. We have stayed at Riu hotels in the past (Mexico, Costa Rica) and have not been disappointed. This location however, was not on par with our expectations of the Riu chain. The hotel was very clean, but the food was just ok - excellent produce and salad bar, but hot foods were nothing to rave about. A la carte restaurants were an absolute joke. We tried three o [... read more]ut of four specialty restaurants at this resort, one of which we actually walked out on because the service was abysmal. Save yourself the time and disappointment, just go to the buffet, or order room service - seriously, you’ll get a way better meal. The service in general at this hotel had a moody, lazy vibe. No one really goes above and beyond, and bar/restaurant service is slow. Tipping doesn’t even seem to make a difference. After staying here, it makes sense now why this isn’t classed as a 5-star like other Riu Palace resorts. All in all, I would probably go back and/recommend to friends only because of the convenience and value. The food in Bahamas is expensive and everything has 12% VAT and 15% gratuity added on. Prices get pretty ridiculous - like $20 USD for two ice cream cones, $20 USD for a boxed salad, etc.

Warwick Paradise Island: Pleasant 5-DayStay

Overall, our family of three enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We were upgraded to a room with a very nice view of the harbour when we arrived. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Shout out to “Star” who was always smiling and ready to offer assistance when needed. There was a variety of food and drinks available throughout the day, including late night snacks. We were also able to make dinner reservations at the two full service restaurants for 2 of our 4 night stay. After waiting for almost 15 minutes after being seated for our server to come over and offer us a beverage, my husband had to get up and ask for someone to come to our table. The restaurant was not busy. The trip to Cabbage Beach was underwhelming because it was crowded and busy. We only stayed for a couple of hours. We really enjoyed lounging poolside except for one afternoon when there was an extremely loud, rambunctious group blasting their music. It was also nice to sit in the lovely garden area and enjoy our morning coffee.

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Amazing resort

It was clean, the staff was great, the food was excellent, the beach was fantastic, I can’t say anything wrong about this resort I would definitely go back, the shopping in the city was close by , the night life was excellent casino was amazing

Sandals Royal Bahamian: The offshore island made for two vacations in one!

Overall the resort is great. The food was very good at all of the restaurants. There is a restaurant on the offshore island that also serves dinner on select nights but isn't well advertised. The menu is full of seafood options including lobster. The quick boat ride over is fun and you can snorkle with turtles, my husband even saw a huge lobster. There are many shaded areas when you need to cool off. The Windsor side of the hotel is newer and the rooms were well appointed. We didn't have a b [... read more]utler but really didn't need one. The mini bar is stocked with whatever you want, all you have to do is ask. We would recommend this hotel to friends and family!

Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach: Fantastic time in Bahamas

Reading the reviews ahead of the trip we weren’t sure what to expect. The resort has exceeded our expectations. The weather was great with a bit of tropical rain in the evening or overnight. We had rooms in the yellow building across from tennis courts and they felt a bit further from the main area but even that was no longer than a 5 min walk. The room was a bit outdated and bathroom needed renovation. The rest of resort amenities were updated and kept clean. We really enjoyed Mexican night, Italian night and Bahamian night at the buffet. We tried one a la carte - pizza and Italian and it was great and very fast and attentive service. Staff at the resort were great! Our 4 year old really enjoyed a couple of the nightly shows - though it would be better if they started earlier than 9:30. The beach was expansive, mostly clear of seaweed and kept immaculate. The vendors on the beach were very annoying and security seemed to keep them at bay somewhat. We would definitely return.

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Amazing!

Riu never disappoints. Perfect place to go if you want to relax but If you wish to party the staff will truly put effort. Whether it’s the staff at buffets, bars or the beach they are so accommodating & kind! We were a group of 4 girls on a girls trip and we had a blast! Thank you all for an amazing time! ❤️

Melia Nassau Beach Resort: Good resort

Hotel is O.K. Beach is nice, water very clear. Plenty of chairs and towels. Rooms are good, but some "touch -up" is needed; carpet is not really clean properly, no glasses for water in room (only paper cups), but room was quiet. Restaurants: Buffet restaurant for breakfast and lunch looks good, but we have some concern about hygiene. They cleaning tables with bleach, without rinse after that. With same bleach-cloth they wipe cutlery before serving on the table. Cutlery they carrying like a f [... read more]ire-wood, in hands instead on some tray. On bread area missing tongs to take a bread, there is more different salads, but no spoon or some tong for serving. Personal is somehow rough, newer smile. So far, in our vacation experience every hotel have some coffee corner with some pastry, but here installed "Starbuck"! Order and pay! Coffee from machine in front of buffet restaurant is very strong, for us unpossible to drink. Different is in all a-la-carte restaurants: service is very good, food very tasty, selection is supper!

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Perfect for a short getaway

We've been twice at this resort before renovation and twice after. This is a perfect fit for us as all amenities are compactly located (reception, lounge, restaurants, bars) and there is a vast beach. We love it because we love to walk on the beach and to swim in the ocean. We could not care less about the pools. The room was nice with a bed that my husband called Emperor size. The cleaning staff was very nice and accommodating. There are liquor dispensers in the room and we had nice gin and [... read more] tonics before dinner every night. The food was good with a variety of dishes for every taste - we love healthier food and we always had something to choose from. Thankfully, they adjusted the temperature in the main dining buffet restaurant - it was very pleasant. Last November it was arctic which was very uncomfortable. We love this hotel and would go there again. The only drawback is that the prices are going up enormously.

British Colonial: Excellent hotel resort

This is a very nice hotel.Really good location on down town.Love the breakfast buffet which is much better than we expected from the hotel video. Also love the happy hours every evening on the 7th floor.We enjoyed swam on the beach of the hotel!

Island Seas Resort: Wonderful relaxing vacation!

The 2 bedroom suite was very nice and roomy. The pool was really nice. The beach was gorgeous and the ocean was great for swimming and snorkeling. The people at the resort were so nice and helpful and it was a very safe atmosphere. We loved it there!! Java Nutz had great coffee and service (shout out to Timmy my coffee friend!) Only recommendation would be that they need to replace the pull-out sofas!! We’d definitely go back there!

Riu Palace Paradise Island: 5 STAR

food and dinning is fantastic. beach and pools(2) are spectacular. services and cleanness is top notch. All inclusive!! and Adults only!! What really makes this 5 star is the beautiful location, cause its all about the location,location,location. Rite on the beach of Paradise Island facing the ocean all the amenities close by or short taxi. Fantastic resort and location!!
