Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Fantastic resort

Great staff. Beautiful beaches. Clean pools. Staff go above for guests. Terrific excursions, and activities. Good variety and music shows/entertainers. Varied guest age range, with something for everyone. Good for groups or single Travellers. Good food and services. Hotel and common areas cleaned daily.

Iberostar Selection Esmeralda: Beautiful place, specially the beach.

The resort was nice, when we got there, I had to asked about "What happened to the welcoming with cocktails?" Then we needed to use the rest rooms, as we just came on a bus that doesn't have a toilet and it was 1.5 hrs of a rough ride; and when we got to the rest rooms they didn't have toilet paper, I mean non of the bathrooms male or female had any toilet paper. When I asked the reception they said " no toilet paper" very sorry about that " then they explained is because it is "OFF Season" w [... read more]e couldn't used our room's toilet because it wasn't ready until 4pm. We got there at 12:30pm. We managed to book 3 a la cart restaurants, we missed one, because we got our beach towel stolen the very next day after we got it, and I had to deal with the person in charged of security and he took awhile to come and see me to take the info about the issue. The second a la cart was the third day of our vacation and it was supposed to be the seafood restaurant, my fiance order pescado frito con arroz, (fried fish and rice) she thought it would be a full fish with fried rice and she was disappointed as the portions of fish were two tiny pieces smaller then sardines and maybe a quarter of a cap of rice. I order a tariaky pasta with beef, but it turned out to be very salty, all I could taste was salt, couldn't finish it. We end up leaving to the buffet restaurant to eat there, this turned out better. After this experience we didn't bother even to go to the third option. One day the beans at the buffet were not cooked well, hard to chew, other day they were spoiled and sour. I know Cuba is well known for the luck of taste on food, but this was for me one of the worst I had, and I being to many parts of Cuba a total of five times. This is rated 5 stars on the website, but I don't believe it should be, more like 3.5 *** The cleaning ladies were Awsome, the servers at the buffet were great, the bartenders were also great, the manager of the resort Israel came around after my complaint about the toilet paper issues, the beach towel incident and he turned out to be a nice and decent guy. I guess he found out that we were celebrating 5 years of our anniversary and he sent us a cake to our room, the third night we got there. We made some connections with a lot of the stuff members at the hotel and by the end of our vacation we enjoyed our stay. We made the best for what we had of our experiences.

Playa Luxury Cayo Guillermo: Top notch resort

Food was amazing. Staff were accommodating and very helpful. Butler service was excellent. Check in was a breeze. Beach was beautiful, pools were nice. Overall service and food was above and beyond for Cuba.

Grand Aston Cayo Paredon Beach Resort: Splendid resort

The resort is well maintained and clean. The staffs are friendly and polite. Room is super clean and beautiful beach view. Lots of entertainments and programmes for everyone. Beautiful sandy beach and crystal clear water.

Iberostar Selection Esmeralda: Wonderful resort

Visited from May 27 to June 3. My husband and I spent a wonderful week at this beautiful resort. Received a most friendly welcome by Israel. Check-in was quick, being only two of us. Beach: Perfect – wide, fine sand, no weeds, miles long. Plenty of palapas and chairs. Room: Ocean front, modern, roomy, meticulously clean, all in excellent working order. Love the screen door, enabling us to hear the ocean and get fresh air. Room numbers are lit and easy to find at night. Pools: Looked nice [... read more], but not used, since we prefer the ocean. Hotel Facilities: Well-appointed, easy to get around. No steps to trip over (great for elderly guests). Wide and well-lit walkways. Common areas are kept very clean. Food at Buffet: Simply delicious. Wide variety. Food could have been warmer, and coffee better. Bars: Quick, efficient, friendly service. Coffees were delicious here, especially the Spanish. Landscaping: Lovely - gardeners are doing a fine job. Special mention: A sincere “Thank You” for the special attention and perks given us on the occasion of my husband’s birthday. Thank you to the pastry chef who baked the most delicious birthday cake, for the bottle of wine, etc. One negative: Music (if you can call it that) at the beach is way too loud and irritable. Base is too heavy, and could be heard far away. Why not play your beautiful Cuban music and songs? We loved your show and songs on Cuban day! Once again, sincere thanks to ALL the wonderful people: waiters, waitresses, cooks, bartenders, cleaners, gardeners, etc., who made our stay at your resort a happy and memorable experience. Would we return and recommend this resort? Definitely!

Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo: Always a good time at the Muthu

We were a group of 7 women. Three of us were repeat guests. Arrived early, so we parked ourselves in the lobby and enjoyed some beverages. Shortly there after our rooms were available. Our keys cards and info were delivered to our table by a lovely lady from the front desk. The rooms were spotless, shower, toilet, fridge never had an issue. Water and beer replenished daily. We celebrated two birthdays and an anniversary while there. One of those birthdays was a 60th. They went above and beyond. Decorated our table are and presented the most delicious cake, turning down the lights while the staff and all us patrons sang happy birthday. Always going the extra mile. The sports bar had the NHL playoffs available to watch( the didn’t last year) but obviously acquired it knowing the Canadians wanted it. They had a Canada Day, poutine included. They had a beach party, they had the lobby set up for dinner. All these special themed events during low season. Their attention to detail shows in everything they do. It was a great holiday.

Valentin Cayo Cruz: Very beautiful resort

We were in this resort last year in August and we liked it so much we had to come back this year. We were there May 21-28, 2025 and we had such a great time, relaxing and having fun in the sun. From the check in to the check out went all smoothly. Everyone who works there makes us feel special, they were all very respectful and helped with anything we needed. They had our room ready when we got there, very clean and spacious room, the air conditioner in our room was working for the first two days, but after it worked just a little bit, we called the front desk and they immediately send someone to help,us move our things to another room which the air conditioner worked, that was appreciated. The grounds were kept very nice. The beach very beautiful, cleaned every day. There was no shortage of beach chairs and there was always someone to help you get one and they even clean it for you. As everyone knows, there is a shortage of food in Cuba but there is always something to eat, even ice cream some of the days. They give you two small bottles of water in your fridge a day. I took my water bottle and got it filled every morning at the buffet with the wonderful ladies who work there with ice water. There are a lot of pools, we only went to 3 but I think there are five, they were very clean and big. We want to say thank you to More who keeps the pool area clean. We met Mijares and Reyfrank who work the grounds around the pool, such great people and very friendly. We want to thank them for their friendship. We will be back

The stay at the hotel was really good. The ambiance was wonderful. The staff was really good as well. The room was nice and clean when we first went in all the staff members were really welcoming, and I had a really good time at the pool as well as they have a lot of activities for kids and all the people to do.

Grand Aston Cayo Paredon Beach Resort: Amazing resort

hotel and staff was amazing, our room was clean every day and we had good ocean view, food was good, had lot of variety to chose, lot of fruit, for drink you can chose what you want. We had good time, whether was sunny every day no rain, thinking going back again

Sol Cayo Coco: Awesome Trip and stay

My Family and I had a great stay at Sol Cayo Coco. The staff were all fantastic; the beaches were awesome. We enjoyed snorkelling, and the kids spent a great deal of time in the pool. Our hotel room was clean from the start until the time we left. A lot to choose from at the buffet, and the hotel grounds well kept and maintained. I would recommend this Resort to anyone. My family and I felt safe

Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo: GREAT RESORT

ONE OF THE BEST RESORTS IN CUBA. Very friendly staff .awesome beach grate for kids easy to get in and out of the water clean sand. food was good always had fresh meat and fish on the grill and at the buffet. I went there for scuba diving the dive shop is about a 30 minute walk down the beach .COCO DIVING, very good staff an some of the best diving in CUBA. we seen a lot of life including groupers baracuda turtles and sharks .I can't wait to go back.

Melia Costa Rey: Amazing resort This resort

This resort, is just fantastic in every way, beautiful rooms,pools,beach,restaurants,people,everyone can’t do enough to make sure you have the holiday of a lifetime,the only thing negative thing is repetitive food menu. This was our second visit here.

Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo: Amazing Resort

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and I had no problem. The grounds are very well kept and clean. The pool area is very nice and I had no problem finding a Palapa or some shade and ofcorce the beach is the best for me the water was clear and clean and you can walk out quite far and you don't have to run to reserve a Deck chair because there was plenty of them and a lot of shade. Melia Cayo Coco: Amazing Resort

This was my second time travelling to this beautiful place. Everyone is so friendly and helpful and the resort is so immaculately kept!! The food is very good! There are alot of different things to choose from. Lots of cold beer and various cocktails are available too! The service is excellent!! I feel very safe and comfortable when I am here and have already booked my 3rd trip for November.

Iberostar Selection Esmeralda: Really needs fixed up.

Resort in need of LOTS of maintenance. Rodents in rooms, broken plumbing everywhere. Safe in my room didn't work (which I reported twice). Towels in rooms never laundered. Dont know if understaffed, but nothing really got fixed in the week I stayed. Food was meh, so was the booze. The simplest cocktails only. Not even a Mojito some days. The pool was nice when clean. Beach was pretty.

Melia Costa Rey: Melia Costa Rey Vacation May 10-24, 2025

The hotel was great. Nice bedroom grounds were well taken care of. The ala cartes were excellent. The only concern i had was that the elevator was broken. For those that have mobility issues this would be a concern. The entertainment team during the day were great, as was the shows at night. Meals at the buffet were good. Seafood from mussels, clams, shrimp and fish were excellent. As well as the meat pork, chicken were also good. There was always something to eat.

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Good resort

We were put in a premium room in building 2 I believe, room was right at the end closest to the 24hr snack bar. Room was nice, king bed was very comfortable. Cleaning staff were very good. Food at the buffet was decent. Had eggs and bacon 5 out of 7 days. Bread and pastries ran out frequently. Didn’t offer a huge amount of variety but always found something to eat. 24 hr snack bar ran out of buns/bread and French fries frequently. The pizza station would be “sold out” within a 1/2 hr of opening. [... read more] Alcohol was hit or miss all around the resort. Rum was plentiful. A la cart restaurants were ok but seemed like the same stuff at the buffet. The exception was the Asian restaurant Nagano, which was quite good. The pool area was really good, newer shaded cabana beds all around. The beach was fantastic although getting into the water was painful, lots of shells and old coral for the first 5 feet or so then soft white sand. No good snorkelling close to shore. No-see-ums were minimal as well as mosquitoes. The staff were very friendly and seemed happy.

Melia Cayo Coco: Amazing vacation!

We were many times in Cuba, and Cayo Coco particularly, but it was our first visit to this resort and certainly not the last! Our vacation was amazing! Every moments of this trip was perfect! The site is beautiful and the beach is stunning. All the staff was incredibly welcoming, smiling and helpful. The rooms are very clean, and had everything we needed; the beds are comfortable and the air conditioning silent and functional. The food at the buffet is delicious & plentiful. Iberostar Coral Esmeralda: Amazing Resort

The facility is well kept and maintained even though it’s not high season the staff were consistent with the up keep. I love how they have both hot and cold water and no issue with adjusting the AC from hot to cold or vice versa. I would stay on the same room again I love how I’m in the corner. I also enjoyed my dining experience. Their buffet area is enclosed which is perfect from keeping the flies and stray cats out. The hostess, bar tender are all professional and courteous.

Melia Cayo Coco: Our favourite vacation!

We had an amazing vacation at the Melia Cayo Coco. The beach is the most beautiful we have ever been to, the rooms are well kept and clean, the food is very good and flavourful especially for Cuba, lots of selection, our favourite was the Italian a la carte, it was delicious.
