Ocean Riviera Paradise: Great resort

the hotel is good and the room sizes are good. The pools are amazing and the kids pool as well. Unable to access the beach as there is rocks. The food seems to be abit on the low side as missing flavor. but one thing is the pool bar, how they make the drinks is like watered down or something as you get the taste at all. and if you ask for a different drink with the bottles they have on the shelf they dont want to make it. and one thing did not like is, they have the pool restaurant by the kids [... read more] pool, and the kids are hungry and want to go eat they want you to change cloths and come in to the pool restaurant. that is something does not make sense. If you are a pool restaurant it is obvious that people are going to come out from the pool to grab something to eat. they are not going to go and change and come back. these things they will need to fix it up.

Ocean El Faro: Resort was ok

I personally would not go back or recommend this resort to my family or friends .The lack in customer service, miserable and unhelpful staff made the experience not so pleasant but regardless we still made the best of it. Beach was not nice ,noticed lots of garbage around but then again that’s the tourist leaving mess and the staff could only do so much. Food was ok both a la cartes and buffet . Again it’s the service , so many servers walking but nothing happening and we had to constantly wave someone down to even get a glass of water and tipping does not change that. Rooms were ok but I wouldn’t recommend upgrading , they charge a lot and the rooms don’t look any different anyway. Their lobby was beautiful

El Beso Adults Only at Ocean El Faro: It’s ok I wouldn’t say Amazing, I would not recommend.

We stayed on El Beso adult side.The Hotel and the grounds are beautiful and the swim up room was the best. The cleaning Lady did a super job on our room. That’s probably because we used to leave a couple of $$ and a present representing Canada every day. We tipped wherever we went. On the Ocean del Faro side there’s a beautiful water park and lazy river for the kids. That’s over $1000canadian. (That’s robbery)For the prestige service.You would get a butler, top shelf liquor. And the butler makes all the reservations for you. They are crooks. If you don’t get this service you’ll have a hard time booking it yourself. I would have to get up early in the morning and stand in line on El Marcodo to get time like 8:30. They keep the best times for people that pays for the prestige service. There is a hotel app. I tried to book between 6 to 7:30. and every time there was no spaces available. Not unless you’re ok with having supper by 9 or 9:30pm. The Specialty restaurants are not that great. The steakhouse the steaks were like rubber. The Italian restaurant was not that great. I got a lot of pasta and about 6 shrimps. The salmon was good. It’s the same food everyday. Be careful not to fall for one of those time share packages. Two times I was approached to attend a meeting, they were offering my wife a free massage package. Please don’t fall for that trap. You’ll never get out. It’s all about the money they will try to get every $ out of you. I could go on and on. I would not recommend this resort.

Ocean Blue and Sand: Fantastic Resort!

This resort is excellent in many ways. The rooms are very nice and clean, the grounds are well maintained and the staff are always there to help you if needed. The food is the very best we have had at any resort! There is a wide selectin of menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food is very tasty and of very good quality. It is always hot and staff will assist you if you are looking for something specific. There is champagne for breakfast and wine for the other meals. The resort is very lar [... read more]ge so lots of walking but there is a tram/shuttle running every 15 minutes to take you to any part of the resort. The pools are beautiful and well maintained and there are lots of activities. The beach is very nice for both swimming and walking. There are several resorts around when you walk on the beach so you are not alone. The resort is very well laid-out so all of the restaurants and shopping is very central on the boulevard. The Lobby is huge and the center of entertainment activities. The theater, bowling alley, casino, Mike's Coffee and Ice Cream Parlor are all adjacent to the Lobby. There is an excellent variety of entertainment, every night and the Piano Bar is the best! Many children activities all day long, so they cater to every age group. There was a rock band one night and excellent Tenors another night. Other types of music was also played for everyone's enjoyment. The Blue Team is very good and try to engage all guests to have a good time. You will truly like this resort!!

Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Very nice resort!

Aside from some checking in line up everything else was amazing! The system is bit messed up, we got the bands right away but we had to line up for activating the room key. Instead of 3 pm we end up getting the room at 4.30pm.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Beautiful Hotel

The way the resort is set up is perfect. I loved the coffee shop & ice cream parlour, beautiful lobby bar. So many different areas and restaurants. Spotless, modern & safe. We had an awesome swim up room. Also spotted some adorable monkeys in a garden area. The only downside currently is the beach, (lack of-at the moment) but every thing else made up for it!! Looking forward to going back soon. I highly recommend.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Amazing Resort even without a Beach

I was really impressed with the resort. The rooms, lobby and grounds were clean. The service was on point. There were so many options of restaurants and anyone going there I recommend Route 66, Mike’s Cafe. Even though the beach was closed and it seems permanently the pools and activities at the pools made up for it. You will not be bored. Plenty of Food and drinks to choose from. Definitely recommend.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Pretty good resort…

We enjoyed our time at this resort, but could use some improvements. If you get a good price definitely go! Pros: animals, water park, bowling Cons: understaffed, maintenance, beach The resort was at max capacity when we were there so could be a very different experience when it is not. Interacting with the coati and monkeys alone made this resort worth the stay. The kids had a blast! Ocean El Faro: Stay Away - Would NOT recommend!!!

Front desk does not share information, we arrived for check in at 3pm and asked when the buffet closes, we were pushed a QR code & told us to look up everything on the app. Buffet closed at 3:30pm. If they had told us we could have had an opportunity to eat after a long flight. My husband contacted guest service twice for a bday celebration (day of & next day), got nothing, no follow up & no apology. Bellboys had no clue which buses/vans came to pick up guests. On departure we called bellboys to [... read more] pick up our luggage an hour before time to meet. When we showed up at requested time/spot to meet for pickup, we stated which airline/flight time we were with & were told to sit down and wait & that the bus was coming for us. 20 minutes later, we approached AirTransat representative to follow up as bellboys weren’t giving us any info. AirTransat staff told us the bus had left 10 minutes ago. The bellboys have a clipboard & checklist for aesthetic but it’s completely useless because how were they that unaware of their surroundings esp after we approached them multiple times in the 20 minute wait and they kept telling us to go sit down and wait. The bellboys eventually told us they’d call us a taxi for $70USD. Not sure if this was a scam or inside job where they’d call one of their friends for an overpriced taxi for the cut of the money but the way they were so dismissive of their mistake & unapologetic shows how little they value their guests. The AirTransat representative was able to call a van which came in about 15 minutes and we did not have to pay extra for it. We had no idea of the theatre showtimes or what performances were being played, again because it wasnt communicated & the onus to navigate the QR code, ask for information that isn’t delivered & try to figure things on our own falls on the guests. We felt harassed by staff who kept running after us asking if we’re interested in a “welcome gift” even after denying it, they did not stop pressuring us or following us as we walked in the resort. Overall the hotel is clean, compact and nicely kept. Buffet staff/room cleaning service staff were very nice however our experience with front desk, guest service, bell boys & the “welcome gift” pushers made this an unfavourable experience. I would recommend AGAINST this hotel.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Nice resort to stay

We enjoyed our stay at the resort. No complain at all. The foods are amazing and the people working are great. We will comeback again in the future. We went to tulum and three cenotes. Nice place to visit. We went to don serloin restaurant too and the tacos there were so delicious.

Ocean Blue and Sand: A1 site and service

Had zero to complain about. Everything from beach to food to cleanliness and the staff were all top notch. I would recommend this for all age groups. Beach was cleaned of weeds, food was always good, buffet was switched daily and the staff were very friendly.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Beautiful Resort

Enjoyed this beautiful resort so much, I”m heading back next week!! The resort grounds, rooms, staff, food, drinks, pools all wonderful. Well organized and very safe. Would be great for couples, families or large groups as they cater to everyone. I highly recommend a visit to Ocean Riviera Paradise. I would also suggest booking through Tripcentral.

Ocean Blue and Sand: Great resort

This hotel has everything, food was amazing, the buffet was full of variety for breakfast, lunch and dinner and the quality was 5 star, my compliments to the chefs. If I had one recommendation to make it would be to standardize and improve your restaurant reservation methods. The resort has this tremendous coffee shop called Mike’s, this place was a God’s send. There was a great variety of pastries and the coffee was delicious. The coffee shop had high back wing chairs and several fans running, it also had a small book case with several books you can borrow, I enjoyed the coffee shop very much. This is not an overwhelmingly large resort, if you want to get your steps in you can and if you don’t there are double golf cart trains which run regularly throughout the resort. The lobby area is big and beautiful, there is a large bar in the middle and a closed off piano bar to the side. There are 2 very large pools adjacent to the beach, all 3 had pool bars and beach bars. I did not have the Prestige package so I can’t comment on it. I have one very important comment to make and this is for the hotel staff, I was extremely impressed with the professionalism of everyone working for this resort, their knowledge and friendliness was much appreciated, thank you to all of you. All and all I give this resort the highest marks, they made my stay a great experience and I will definitely be going back for more

Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Great Resort Worth every penny

My wife and I had a great time here, we stayed in the Privilege section. We received lots of upgrades and spent our time in Privilege restaurant and pool area for adults only. The resort was big, well maintained and lots for us to do. The food was excellent at all restaurants and the buffet. Drinks were great as always and with privilege we got premium alcohol. It may not be a fancy high end resort, but we are easy going and this was perfect for us.

Ocean Maya Royale: Super fun resort?

This resort was super clean, modern, and the staff were super friendly and helpful! Food was amazing at the buffet but the a la cartes had long wait times. Its more quiet during the day, not super crowded and rowdy and felt really safe.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Disaster in paradise…

We started off with an “upgraded” room only to be greeted with a trashed room that was under construction after waiting almost 4 hours for our room to be ready to check in. Then they proceeded to move us to a kids section of the resort after expressing we did not want to be there in the first place. After that whole ordeal that took over an hour they placed us in another room, the next day we were moved again which was a complete inconvenience, waste of money and time. Also apparently ocean view which was completely blocked by a wall, when this was mentioned to hotel staff nothing was done. The communication and organization at this resort was severely lacking. Very disappointing trip for us. To top it off at the end of the vacation we were instructed to be ready at our room for luggage pick up at 530am. We arrived at the lobby and waited for our transfer for over an hour and kept asking the front desk staff that had 0 information for us. They kept shifting us off to the bellboy who was incredibly rude, laughing in our faces and told us we missed our bus and to find another way to the airport. We then were left no choice but to take a taxi who told us it would be $80 USD which we agreed to. When we arrived to the airport the driver wouldn’t open the truck to give us our luggage and demanded more money from us. He refused to give us our bags until I had to drain all the money out of my wallet, extremely disappointing turn of events. We ended up paying double the price for the taxi. To top it off this resort doesn’t even have a beach! It’s completely washed away and you can’t really access it through other resorts because they are private to the hotel. The only good parts about this hotel were the serving staff and coffee shop was a cool feature. All that being said we would never go back here save your money and time and look else where.

Ocean Eden Bay: Could have been better

The music was terrible. I'm from Toronto and I heard more drake at the resort than I have heard in my life. I also found the woman employees were not friendly and made me feel uncomfortable. We had also requested a room closer to our friends, but instead we were really far apart. They also provided a room with 1 bed for my friend and I. When again, we specifically asked for 2 beds. Ocean Riviera Paradise: Nothing like before.

In 2017 we visited for 2 weeks. I just got back from 2 weeks. It hasn't aged well without regular maintenance. It also has the same buffet every day. Was disappointing and I will not be returning to this resort.

Ocean Coral Spring: Not worth going back.

The grounds were very beautiful but the beach was the worst beach I've ever seen in Jamaica. The pool was very nice but not enough umbrellas. The water park had no shade for the children which is bad for kids being out in the hot sun and not enough water flowing down the slides so the kids didn't enjoy it as much, I was informed of all of that from friends that had children. A lot of the waitresses were not friendly and did not smile. And the hotel was under staffed. I was not impressed of the menus of the alacart restaurants and was shocked to find that I could not go into the restaurants and the beach on the Ocean Edan side. At least at Palladium I can go either on the Lady Hamilton or Palladium Jamaica side. And the air conditioning was off for 3 days. My wife and I are not going back, we would rather go back to Palladium.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Great vacation!

I loved the entire resort! Very beautiful. The one restaurant (blue moon) required men to dress in long pants and dress shoes (we were unaware), so we couldn’t try that restaurant. Coffee place was amazing. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the beach. It was maybe 4 feet unless you were “privileged” and you could get some beach. I give the resort a 8/10, just because I wasn’t aware of the privileged sections and the beach. Overall a great trip.
