Breezes Bahamas: Great resort!

I stated at the Breezes from June 8th - 12th with my husband. We had an ocean view room and it was nice and clean. Loved the food and different restaurants they had. We had dinner in front of the ocean one night and at the French restaurant the day after which we absolutely loved! Staff was very nice and helpful. The guy who sings at the piano bar is amazingly talented and we always enjoyed listening to him singing. We would definitely stay at the Breezes again when we go to the Bahamas again.

Jewel Runaway Bay Resort: Excellent holiday

I was there last year and this year and will be going back next year. Awesome place everyone there are so friendly and the food is excellent. We had a manager night special which was cocktails followed by a 6 course meal.

This hotel is one of the best for food, beaches, and most of all the people who work there, especially when they remember you from last year. Such amazing people who work there. Our room was done every day with fail, and the women that cleaned our room she made sure we had everything we needed. Jamaican people are one of the most respected people in my book.

Memories Jibacoa: Loved every moment

My 9th trip to Cuba. This time with three women friends. I love the place and keep going back, but this is the first resort I've ever liked enough to return to. Will return with my husband in January for two weeks. Can't decide what I liked best. The food? (Who'd expect to have the best beef tenderloin in Cuba!), the snorkelling right off the beach? the warmth of the staff? The fact I could always find loungers in the shade? Hotel Los Cactus: Great Vacation Spot

Loved everything about this resort. Beach and grounds were amazing. Buffet was good as were the a la cartes. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Lots of palapas for shade on the beach. Pool was large with lots of loungers available.

Hotel Los Cactus: Excellent vacation

Grounds were well kept, staff was friendly, public washrooms clean and well kept. Although the staff spoke many languages English did not seem to be one of them. The only other slightly negative aspect was it was impossible to get more than a couple CUC $1 coins it was as if they were forcing you to tip a $3 bill which is approx. $5 Canadian a bit much for me.

Memories Jibacoa: Quiet and relaxing

Great hotel. Snorkelling is amazing. Diamond club not reall worth it. Didn't receive the extras we where suppose to everyday. Only got them 4 out of the seven days. The staff are all very friendly and will help if they can.

Memories Jibacoa: Perfect Holiday!

We fell in love with this resort, the resort I felt was very well kept. The grounds were lovely and well kept with lots of trees and shrubs and very pretty flowers. The rooms were very comfortable a little old but we didn't mind. We found the food to be quite good and the specialty restaurants were amazing! But our favourite place to eat was at the beach restaurant, we loved Rodger. People should know that the drinks are top notch, for me premium drinks and the best was the piano bar. The resort [... read more] is small 250 rooms which for us was part of the draw we like the smaller resorts, no line ups for food or drinks and know young kids which made it quite. The beach was very nice found it to be rocky but it was a coral reef beach so that was expected. We really loved the big trees on the beach provided great shade. The layout of the resort was good you didn't have to walk very far to get to the beach or pool or even the buffet. The lobby and the levels below it were great places to eat or just hang out and have a drink. The lobby also had seating outside the doors with juices and water to consume and every morning I would sit out there with my cappuccino and watch people come and go and also met quite a few people out there. Now the people, I can not say enough about the lovely people who work at this resort. I found everyone to be so friendly and helpful right from the grounds keepers to reception. I really don't know how they do it day after day and with the long hours they work and they still have a smile on their faces. We loved our vacation there and we do plan on returning next year.

Sunscape Curacao Resort: the best place to stay in Curacao

This was our first time on such a small island and it was amazing. The resort is beautiful, rooms were clean, food was great and plentiful, tons of activities for kids and adults. Rented car and explored the island very safe and main city was incredible.

Hotel Bella Costa: Great place and staff beach pool everything

We had no issues at all with the Bria Costa we are repeat guest the only thing is they have a promote 5 visits the 6 th is one free week at the hotel this is no longer a promote now they said it was off cause the hotel has new owners . They cancelled that2 days before we got there. Just are luck!!

Memories Jibacoa: Beautiful Resort and Amazing Staff

If you want a nice quiet clean and beautiful resort to head to this is it. If you like diving and snorkeling right off the beach then it doesn't get any better! Rooms are clean, we upgraded to a suite and it didn't disappoint. Staff are amazing, food is good and if you can't find something to eat than you must be a picky eater. : ) I would highly recommend this hotel. The resort is adults only and nice and quiet so if you are looking for party central go somewhere else. Bands are really good at the resort and oh yes, Nelson will make you the best omelette of your life! Go and see for yourself.

Memories Jibacoa: It was a good time

It was OK, the stuff was not greeting. Same food every day not to much variety. Every thing was very far from the resort. it had rocky beach if you like to snorkel, lots of older people. Very nice and quiet.

Rooms on the Beach Negril: WORTH THE MONEY

I thought Room was very good. the room was good enough we were close to the pool, so my son like that. Staff very friendly, safe with security, the beach amazing and ground clean. Breakfast did me ok and lots of close places to eat. I took Jamaican money with me. I always asked the price up front. Would not recommend eating at Woodstock, rip off. I just kept saying NO to the sellers. My son was the only child there and around this resort, but we made out fine,. Would go back forsure.

Grounds were beautiful. Beaches amazing. Food was good. Rooms were clean but a little dated. Only issue with trip was that the resort over booked and we had to spend 3 days at Bella Costa. Bella Costa was NOT a comparable resort - it was dirty.

I totally enjoyed my stay at the Breezes Varadero. The rooms were clean, neat and tidy. The air conditioner worked great and kept the room very cool. The food was awesome. I had heard stories about the food in Cuba but here was salt and pepper on every table and there were different bottles of hot sauces and spiced olive oils for you to use. The grounds were very well kept and the pool was always clean. Shows were good and the nightly music in the lobby as well as the late night sandwiches were very good. I am a foodie and was not disappointed. I would not recommend the building with the disco if you are an early to bed person. It rocked until 1pm. Overall a very good vacation at this resort.

Hotel Los Cactus: Great times!!

Some would consider a bump to a different hotel a disadvantage but we spent our first 2 nights at Hotel Bella Costa next door then moved to Breezes Varadero so we got to experience both hotels! Bella Costa was perfect, beautiful, more entertainment, best outdoor pizza oven but Breezes Varadero, even though not ocean view (and quieter) was beautiful in it's own way... lush gardens, friendly staff, nicely shaded Jacuzzi bar with awesome pina colados!! Hotel Los Cactus: Overall pretty good for Cuba and Breezes

The only thing I did not like was we got bumped out and shipped next door for 3 days to the little dump Bella Costa. They overbooked their rooms....how does that happen?? There were 30 rooms approximately affected. Was not happy and is the only reason I would hesitate to rebook there.

Sunscape Curacao Resort: Beautiful island, excellent resort!

We travelled as a family of 4 (children ages 8 and 10) and stayed in the Sun Club area. Truly enjoyed the Sunscape experience. Great beach and snorkeling, excellent food and some of the best drinks we've experienced at an all-inclusive.

Hotel Bella Costa: wonderful resort

the welcome was joyful, rooms on 5th floor was very fresh smelling and clean every day, the food is excellent been cooked not too many spices, which you taste the freshness of the seafood or meat, pool cleaned every day, the beach side to die for, the staff very courteous relax completely

Sunscape Curacao Resort: great snorkeling

The snorkeling is great at this resort. You feel like you are in a fishbowl. The resort is well maintained but is older so minor room issues are normal. Management will address any of your concerns without question. that was refreshing. The beach is good, water is clear and the beach chairs are plentiful. The food was great at all of the restaurants. We had a large group so food was delivered a little sporadic but the staff were always pleasant. They could use more sitting areas in the evening a [... read more]round the lobby bar. They were always full with no available seating. Nightly entertainment was better than most resorts as they had small bands/duo's every night. I would not hesitate to return and only caution people who like the big marble palaces that keep springing up throughout the Caribbean. This is an older resort and a little smaller which I prefer as you tend to meet more people.
