Brisas Sierra Mar: Aging Resort in need of investment $
My family and I have been going to Brisas Sierra Mar for about six years. We come back for the friendly restaurant staff, village life nearby, horseback riding and the caring scuba dive masters. This still remains the same. On the down side the food at the buffet is really limited for vegetarians and for those who eat only fish. Even meat eaters may find the food always the same. Repeaters dinner and the restaurants by invitation are good. Brisas Sierra Mar is a family resort that has chang [... read more]
Brisas Guardalavaca: comfortable resort
This was the 4th time we visited. It is a comfortable resort, attending by nice people. We did not participate in evening entertainment, so we cannot comment on that. The rooms are nice but need some improvement ( the fridge did not work..)The beach lounges were always available.
Brisas Santa Lucia: BETTER THAN EXPECTATIONS
I have been in Cuba countless times, and Brisas Santa Lucia was the last one in my mind, but I was pleasantly surprised of the cleanliness of the whole property, the multiple services, bars , pools and lobby., close to each other.. People very friendly, food varied and acceptable, great variety of juices, coffee everywhere. Only one inconvenient, TV was snowy when we occupied the room 522 and worse when we left it, nobody seemed to be interested in fixing it . ALL IN ALL WE HAD A GOOD EXPE [... read more]
Brisas Santa Lucia: Good value for the money
We don't go to Cuba for the culinary experience but the food was reasonably good, the rooms were clean, everything worked, lots of hot pressure and good pressure. The weather wasn't so good but the beach was nice and the service was impeccable.
Brisas Sierra Mar: Brisas SierraMar
Grounds very clean. Hotel in good repair. Food pretty good. Staff excellent Hotel has beautiful scenery. Only bid problem was beyond their control . A very heavy rain knocked out the elevator to the beach level making it difficult for some people to get down with the stairs. The hotel had repair people there promptly but four days later when I left they were still working on it
Brisas Guardalavaca: Disappointed
Hotel is showing its age, my room was musty and in need of makeover. We were staying in the villas which are larger and supposedly newer. Food was average except in the seafood restaurant, where we had special returning guests lunch (Betty was wonderful and gave our group extra attention). Bugs were bitting so make sure to pack bug spray. Was surprised we had to purchase our own bottled water. Was disappointed overall, but will try diffrent resort next time.
Brisas Santa Lucia: Sunwing Crappola
Hotel was fine but Sunwing was the pits. Half the people on the plane saw their luggage sitting on the tarmac as we were leaving. They said they were overweight, but never took any of the kiteboarders gear of the plane. Some lady made the mistake of leaving her meds in her luggage including her insulin. Sunwing tried to make amends by giving them $50 cash a day until they got their bags. This happened 4 weeks in a row going to Camaguay as well as going to Santiago first and arriving 2 hrs late [... read more]
Brisas Sierra Mar: facts
Price was great for 12 days but the hotel is tired and like many , needs a facelift, no change since my visit in 2012 other than the elevator is now operational , the hotel is 25 years old but was not maintained, some rooms are being renovated but the process is slow. Many many many returned guests, older crowd, food Ok but nothing out of the ordinary for Cuba. likely my last time.
Brisas Sierra Mar: Faded Glory
This was & could be again a beautiful resort. Brisas Seirra Mar is reflective of the many resorts throughout Cuba I have visited, It's easy to envision how it looked when new but it to is being allowed to crumble.(How Sad) Lots of stairs & the usual Cuban power outages effecting the elevators. The Buffet is a little better than I expected with some decent spicing. The specialty restaurants need to be told to hold back on the salt. The beach is volcanic sand -beige but hot as --- on the feet. [... read more]
Brisas Sierra Mar: Good deal for the money
My family enjoyed the stay in this hotel. It wasn't really 4 day stay as we came very early morning November 20th instead of evening of November 19th due to airline (Cubana) delay. Also we had to leave fairly early November 23rd and then spent many hours at the airport due to airline delay.
Brisas Guardalavaca: Amazing resort
This is our third visit to Brisas Guardalavaca and we would certainly visit again. The staff are so friendly and courteous. They never pass by without a Hello or stop to talk. When we arrived the Reception area at the Hotel was under construction and finished before we left. The new area is amazing, the new Lobby Bar is excellent and bright the new furniture also adds brightness to the area. The first floor has been completed and the rooms are bright and clean. The second floor is almost [... read more]

Brisas Guardalavaca: Lovely resort
We have been at this resort before and we love it there. People there are absolutely amazing. It’s not perfect and I don’t expect anything in Cuba is. We had some problems with the room, but nothing what would affect my great time. Cuban time, manana, just go with the wind. We will be back. Love Brisas Guardalavaca
Memories Trinidad Del Mar: LOVE this place
We have been travelling to Brisas Tinidad Del Mar for many years and have always been very satisfied with the amenities. We were a little hesitant this year with Hurricane Irma having visited! We did go on Nov 10/17 and Brisas Trinidad did not disappoint us. 2 other friends went with us, they have been many places in Cuba but never to Trinidad, they were very impressed with this resort and the staff that catered to our every need and want. The grounds are kept very clean and maintaine [... read more]
