Butterfly Beach Hotel is average, but like they say you get what you pay. It's an older hotel and some rooms need re-furbishing..Grounds exceptionally clean..staff exceptional..I myself would not return, but a lot do...

Bougainvillea Beach Resort: The Best for Us

We a return visitors and will come back again the food is tasty and good the service is reasonable the rooms are tidy the staff is extremely friendly the beach was terrible with all the rocks and ruining our walk

Bougainvillea Beach Resort: wonderful place

Great beach, nice pool with bar, good open air dining rooms with choice of menu or self service. Nicely appointed rooms and suites with ocean and pool views. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Ground transport, taxi and mini bus available on short notice.

Rostrevor Apartment Hotel: Very good hotel

We were very happy with the resort... It all was very clean and well maintained both in our room, bathroom and on the grounds, which is very important to us... the beach was private, completely sandy and well kept with a gradual drop off.... The staff were friendly, helpful and personable.... The small restaurant was clean and tidy but seemed expensive and unwelcoming... We enjoy real Barbadian cuisine!... I liked the deal with Aircanada ....We will definately return with pleasure!...

Almond Beach Resort: Great Vacation

Just came back from a 4 day vacation at Almond Beach Resort for my husbands 50th birthday. Paradise! The beach was outstanding and the people were fantastic! Very friendly, helpful and fun! The hotel was a little tired as they are closing in June 2015 but did not put a damper on our vacation at all. It's all about the beach!!!! One tiny complaint I did have was only 1 buffet restaurant was open on the Thursday we were there - I would have preferred having a choice. All in all we loved every minu [... read more]te. not all inclusive but on a beautiful island like this you can't stay in one place to long . this hotel is great the people are fantastic we have been there many times every time great they have great food beach is beautiful staff helps you with anything you want to do we have nothing but respect for butterfly if you don't enjoy it there must be something wrong with you

Almond Beach Resort: Good value for your money

We had a lovely holiday at Almond Beach Resort. First time in Barbados, not our last. The grounds were very well kept and always being worked on by the staff. Very friendly staff that accommodated us. Weather was very hot but refreshing to jump into the ocean that was at least 80 degrees. The bugs were a pain, quite abit of the guests were bitten as was my husband, but we were prepared with benadryl. You just learned to live with it. A new drink I had was called BBC, that helped alot! LOL. 3 roo [... read more]sters decided we needed a wake-up call every morning, and I mean every morning by 6am. We were offered 4 free excursions while we stayed at this resort, fishing, jeep safari to see the beautiful island, snorkelling with the turtles on a very fast boat and a glass bottom boat ride and also snorkelling with the turtles. These excursions anywhere else would have cost at least $75 each US. Kayaking and paddle boarding, shuffle board, pool and ping pong were also offered free of charge. The Westjet staff at the airport when we arrived and at the resort were very kind and helpful. Over-all we had a great time and met lots of new people from all over, mostly UK. Would definately recommend this to anyone wishing to have a family friendly trip.

Almond Beach Resort: Great value for dollar

Amazing location! This resort is a great value for your dollar vacation. The staff are excellent, very accommodating and friendly. The food was good with variations. Rooms are clean and spacious but on the older side. The pool areas are excellent but the beach is Paradise! This has to be one of the most beautiful locations on the island. Crystal clear calm water with plenty of fish to snorkel with. I am just sad that the resort will not be around for ever, and hope that whatever replaces it, is  [... read more]affordable. Turtle Beach Barbados a Tribute Port: Family resort!

Overall loved everything, the staff especially. Was our first trip as a family out of Canada, and the staff made sure that our children enjoyed everything! Our daughter was a little shy in the beginning towards one of the staff members, until a bird decided to come a little closer to my daughter then she liked, but to the rescue our daughter calls her body guard! Sandals Barbados: Great vacation!

We are Sandals repeat customers and stayed at Sandals in Barbados last December. The resort was just taken over by Sandals a few weeks before we got there and they were putting their Sandals touches on everything. The food was great, the staff were great and the weather was great. I still prefer Sandals Royal Bahamian to Sandals in Barbados but if you have never been to Barbados I would recommend this hotel.
