Loved it!

We really had a wonderful time - the resort was cozy, had everything we wanted (snorkeling, excursions, hiking half-day trip, great patio bar, tennis), we were told it was almost full, but didn't feel like there was too many people at all!! Liked the wild non-resort beach that is nearby... The food was better than in the other Cuban resorts I've been to. Night life could be better, but there was still something going on every night. We had fun!!!

Villas Jibacoa

Wonderful place for rest and relaxation - great staff and wonderful accomodations. Loved being able to just walk into the water and start snorkeling; loved being there with other Cuban families; and I really liked that most of the landscape was friendly for those with mobility problems.

Cottage in Cuba!

With a majority of the visitors here returning every year you know this place must be special! If you want fancy pampered this is not for you. If you want relaxed, safe and great snorkeling give it a try! We had a blast with our three kids!

Piece of Heaven.

My wife and I recently stayed at Villa Jibacoa. We had a wonderful time with great service and the houses were like a home away from home but with the mountains behind us and the Ocean in front of us. treat the staff well and they will go the extra mile. safe and clean . This will be a week we will never forget. Thank-you to all that made it so special.

Many areas need improvement.

We were told a bungalow, instead we got a motel room, bathroom needed repairs, towels and bed linen were very faded and had holes, we arrived late, and there was nothing available for eating. The staff were exceptional.

Relaxing trip

we have stayed in Jibacoa many times over the years Quiet and serene, Staff pleasant. food is okay if you like Cuban food. Still no Air conditioner in dining room . Lovely beach ,lots of areas to sit on beach, use of paddle boats and and other water craft great. Rooms are little bungalows spread out over resort. Cleaners very good.

Relaxing sun and surf.

As advertized older crowd and no frills. Great beach and snorkeling. Nice pools. Food ok . Good value. Close to Havana. Friendly staff. One hour from airport. Stayed two weeks in april. Lots of jellyfish warnings.

Amazing holiday!

My wife and I would go back to Villas Jibacoa, because of the location, the beach and the view from our room, was awesome. Beachfront! We love to swim in the ocean and the water is perfect for that. The people and staff are most friendly and make one feel like they are welcome and want you to come back. As far as food goes, one can always find something fresh and hot. Some work is needed in the lobby and rooms, but who stays in, when the ocean and sun is waiting for you to enjoy.

BEAUTIFUL BEACH

We stayed at this resort in April 2014. It was small, rooms were very clean and the staff we friendly. Beach was beautiful and pool was good. Lots of chairs. Food was not great but that is often the case in Cuba. It was ok and we always found something to eat. We found the resort quite out of the way for shopping and site seeing. You always had to pay for a taxi to go anywhere. If you want to just relax and sit by the pool or snorkel this is a great place to go. We found ourselves quite bored as the entertainment was pretty well none existent for the evening unless you want to drink and hang out with other couples. So we were pretty well ready to leave by time our week was up.

Quiet Paradise

A Small resort in farm country. Very quiet and relaxing. Not for those looking for the night life and party. Very Lush and tropical grounds with beautiful flora. Great snorkeling and scuba diving on coral reef. Amazing staff!

Nice resort

3 stars or 3 1/2 stars perfectly reflects resort rating. Personal expectations should be adjusted accordingly. Not for the common vacationer, not for kids, not for fun adventurers. Bungalows are comfy and food is clean.

Good Value for your money

We, my husband and I have been visiting this resort since 2006 and keep returning because of the service and beach to which I will give 5 stars. As for the food, it all depends what time of the year one visits. Its proximity to Havana is another draw. We have travel extensively through Cuba and the people working at this resort have to be some of the best we have encounter. We took our parents to this hotel last Oct. for their 50th wedding anniversary and they really like it.
