Paradisus Princesa Del Mar: Beautiful Resort

Resort in general is attractive, but the customer service needs some Improvements this was our second time there, yet we received NO welcome back, instead we had a really difficult time and suffered disappointment with the service for Basic thing live Bath towels , clean towels took 2 days to come to us even after we called the 700 # to ask for them, I even walked over and ask in person. wow , when they came was 4.00 PM and we had booked a Tour for 4.45 PM we had to use damp Beach tow [... read more]els in order to bath before going on the tour. Next was the Mosquitoes in the Rooms , then the Buffet food displayed cakes Breads all were infested with Flies big black flies, so Bad and 2 of our friends got sick in bed for 2 days with Diarrhea . last year they had Transport from building to Restaurants or Beach or Pools this time NONE that is an Adult Resort and we are all Seniors with some type of operation to Knee or Hip replacement and walking long was a problem when we complained the Nexis agent reported the matter then they moved us because the reason for that trip was a Birthday and a 65th Wedding Anniversary..... That I did not expect to deal with so many difficulties and the Stress that it created, we could not wait for the 7th day to leave there yet No one offered any Apology for any of the Hardships ..... will we go back there again or recommend our family and friends ...NO

Sol Palmeras: Just like Family

This is our 2nd visit to Sol in 6 months and it won’t be our last. We found the resort to be great. The buffet and ala carte are good and plenty of good food. It’s clean and the rooms are spacious and updated. All the staff are wonderful and always ready to help if needed. The beach is always clean and plenty of loungers for everyone. If you enjoy ice coffee by all means visit the coffee bar and they will make you a really tasty one. We have made friends with staff and to us they are family. I highly recommend this resort and you will be happy you did.

Paradisus Princesa Del Mar: Site exceptionnel

J’ai voyagé du 24 septembre au 1 octobre 2025. Le site est agé mais bien entretenu. Le personnel toujours comme on les connais très serviable. Les piscines impeccable le terrassement également. Le site est très étendu mais l’accès à la plage est facile 1 à 2 minutes de marches.

Starfish Cuatro Palmas: 2nd time

I usually rent a casa but the last 2 times decided to go back and try the resort style. Normally I like to mix with the locals eat the local food and have many friends there. The first time I visited this resort was in June. And now again beginning of September. I honestly I am not picky I have slept in some of the most rustic houses in the country. Dirty towels. The cleaning girls have no control and do the best they can. My cleaning lady even carried a new fridge to me because mine was not working. The food was amazing I thought no complaints! I am a person who tips everyone or try’s to make sure each person gets something from me. But the staff at this time did not seem very happy or very friendly. I know the problems and desperation Cuba is under but I tryed my best to help and still go many who were just plain old cranky. A few outstanding ones but I also found this time it’s constant trying to get something from tourists using stories of how many babies they have at home just crazy the amount of tipping they expect. To the point I had to stop engaging with some. I think if the workers spent more time fixing the problems at the resort such as cleanliness and chile more I would feel more comfortable. Also the beach omg! I have gone to Cuba here more then 30 times and never seen this beach so dirty the amount of beer cans plastic paper just terrible garbage everywhere. What happened Cuba! The ocean needs to be restored and kept clean and all I see is garbage and people throwing cans on the street on the beach. It just made me so sad. I’m not sure I would return to this place probably go back to renting. Love Cuba and the people but it hurts my soul to see how they have become so rude and just faking all to get things and opportunities.

Paradisus Princesa Del Mar: Big resort

We stayed at this resort on Sept 20,2025 for 7 days. The resort is big very clean. We didn’t realize it was off season September is our preferred month to travel never had a resort that had low numbers. We were upgraded for a swim up room most of the rooms were closed for renovations. For the first 3 days we didn’t have any hot water. The main buffet was closed everyone was sent to the royal buffet that was tiny not much selection. We didn’t check out the nightly entertainment not sure how that was. Overall we really enjoyed this resort we would like to go back when it is busy to see everything they offer

Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa: Would not return

I didn’t enjoy this hotel at all for the following reasons: - I found it dirty and not spik and span. Floors were grimy, doors were worn out and grimy which could be fixed with a fresh coat of paint - the pools had a film and debris in them. I don’t see anyone cleaning them the entire time I was there - the food was horrible, even for Cuba. - the washrooms lacked hand soap and paper towels. Blau Varadero: Fantastic week… almost perfect

This was my first visit to this Blau resort but not my first time in Cuba or at a Blau property and as usual it was fantastic, from food which was delicious, The à la cartes even better, just the buffet gets a bit repetitive at times but we switched it up… to the cleanliness of the property, the rooms, etc everything worked great! Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa: Nice resort

The hotel is nice but too much mosquito. The food is correct in anyway it’s Cuba. The beach is wonderful and the service is perfect. We have a nice week of vacation. I will return to this resort for the next vacation.

Blau Varadero: Amazing as always

It was my 19 times at the Blau. I have just good words about the hotel and his excellent staff. The Blau is my home away from home. I celebrated my 69’s while I was there and have an amazing dinner with friends. Definitely would recommend the Blau Varadero.

Melia Internacional: Amazing Resort!

This hotel resort was outstanding. The property grounds were so well-maintained and enjoyable to look at. Relaxing at this resort was so nice. The beach was incredible The food was good. The people so nice. Can't say enough. We have been to Cuba 4 times. I would definitely come back to this resort.

Valentin El Patriarca Varadero: Amazing resort (Kids 16 and over only)-Please read to the end

My husband and I went to Valentin El Patriarca, September 1st to 8th, 2025. We ended up with a free upgraded room to the Deluxe Alegance (yes it's spelled that way) section room 4514, totally awesome, right outside the door is the pool for that section with a bar. Although this was a slow time for the resort as it is being renovated, the food was very tasteful, we did not get buffet, all lunches and dinner are a la carte, yes there's a shortage of food in Cuba, but let me tell you this resort yo [... read more]u did not go hungry, the food was delicious and filling. Water bottles are placed in the room everyday and the maid is tidying up everyday. If you get this section please ask the lady at the restaurant for your bottle of free Rum she will get it to your room. The Alegance section has a restaurant right out your door and they take orders for breakfast also lunch and dinner, yes there's eggs. The beach's just gorgeous, warm water to swim. The resort and pools all clean everywhere, all open, all bars open with one at the beach. Beautiful lobby with bar and a coffee shop that's just fabulous, a must have coffee there everyday. The lawn and flowers well manicured. Someone to give us fresh coconuts everyday, that was a must for us, tips please for everyone, it's much appreciated. And I cannot stress enough please do not leave any coins as it's not accepted at their banks, so the employees cannot exchange it's just a waste. Please exchange all Canadian money to US dollars (dollar bills), that is totally accepted everywhere. Americans are not welcomed (have to travel from another country first) but their money is. One night they take you and your family (Over 16 years old) and bus you all off into another location for a party if you wish to stay for the party or just eat and and then get on the bus, any bus just tell them your resort and they will take you back when needed, yes it's all very safe. Security guards on the resort day and night also lifeguard on duty. They don't let anyone try to sell you anything on the beach, not allowed at this resort. I highly recommend this resort to everyone (16 and over), you will not regret it.

Memories Jibacoa: Cheers to Memories Jibacoa

Had the most wonderful week at Memories Jibacoa. Our flight on Westjet was seamless; we were greeted with warm Cuban hospitality at the resort and were treated like gold. Good food and drinks, fun entertainment and the beautiful beach...who could ask for anything better!

Grand Aston Varadero Beach Resort: Great Time

Beautiful resort, courteous and professional staff, food was surprisingly good. The Club check in needs help, we opted for Club, but didn't really get the club experience on the first few days, we found out more of what was included mid way through our vacation. Rey at the Club designated breakfast and lunch restaurant was amazing! Beach - I believe it is man made, a bit of a trek to get to the water, water was amazing! Overall - we always have a great time in Cuba!

Melia Las Americas: It starts with proper booking support

First of all our booking agent Jennifer Brown..what a wonderful, kind professional service she provided. Good on you Jen. Yes hotel lived up to its reputation. Wonderful atmosphere and offered the best of Cuba. If I can recommend anything than perhaps a ramp alongside the stairs to the beach .

Iberostar Origin Bella Vista Varadero: A big disappointment ?

I took a party of eight,from australia.just for 3 days. It was not good at all. Firstly the rooms.there was only a disc. Of a soap. The AC was leaking water. The food was so su standard. I've been to Cuba thirty times. I am aware of the hardships. But this was bad. Even the information I get from the reception was poor.

Occidental Arenas Blancas: Amazing resort

I am a repeat customer at this resort. I was there Sept 13 - 20 and the food, in my opinion, was so much better than the last time I was there in May. The wait staff as well as the front desk staff were great always there to help and same with the wait staff. The location is right downtown Varadero which is a great feature. The rooms are dated and need updates but as ar as cleanliness and the room itself it was great I had no issues with the resort.

Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa: Very nice overall

Staff are amazing. Very friendly and helpful. Food was quite good in the a la carte's and the buffet. Beach is beautiful and clean. Pool was clean and warm. Mosquitoes were really bad, likely the worse we have ever experienced in the Caribbean. Be sure to bring insect repellent. No air conditioning in the buffet which is disappointing. Our room never got below 22 degrees but the ceiling fans work well to keep you cool. This was our 2nd time at Royalton Hicacos.

Sanctuary at Grand Memories Varadero: Fantastic Resort

As this is my 1st time going to Grand Memories resort, I had a fantastic time, the rooms were very clean and maintained. The beaches was amazing and clean, the salt water was was so nurturing. All the staff was very friendly and made each day of my stay fantastic, they had a smile on their faces each day. The food was ok, there was many options either you can go to buffets or to gourmet lunch and dinner. Trust ill be going back

Occidental Arenas Blancas: Amazing service.

Very good care, a cordial and respectful treatment, excellent supply and abundance, in all senses, in the breakfast, the amuerzo and the meal. Very attentive staff. Only many mosquitoes at dawn and dusk. I repeat my visit and will recommend this hotel to my friends and family. I am sure to return soon with friends and family.

Most beautiful resort in Varadero, came here for second time, last time was in August 2024, very nice staff , nice upgraded rooms close to the beach,delicious food and drinks.My favorite is bistro Cafe as it's opened 24 hours serving tasty coffee or cappuccino with options for sandwiches and delicious pastries
