Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Beautiful Resort! Awesome food

The Resort was beautiful but we found it a tad too big. The carts were easy to get to go to the beach. It was windy all week, so hard to say whether or not it was a good swimming beach as it was very rough all week. The food was great. The reservation system was terrible. The front hotel lobby check in staff were not very friendly or helpful. I like to be closer to the beach so the other resorts closer to the beach would be nice, but the Grand was very busy. Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Third visit - lovely resort.

Everything was lovely. A few touches i.e., some food at the buffet was cold… but overall food was really good. The resort provided an area downstairs from main lobby where guests could shower after having checked out of room and spending day on beach - before going to airport. The showers only had cold water and there was no soap in dispenser - it was an unexpected touch and maybe more attention could be given to thinking of checking on these things. Melia Caribe Beach Resort: Food lacks quality, beach is nice, pools are too cold

The resort is very large very well maintained. Food lacks quality and temperature and availability. Some days no cheese no yogurt I could go on. . The resort is very large very well maintained. Ocean El Faro: A Beautiful Stay at El Faro Resort in Punta Cana

We had a great stay at El Faro Resort in Punta Cana. The resort itself is beautiful, with well-kept grounds and a relaxing atmosphere that made it easy to unwind. The staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, which really added to the overall experience. The restaurants were very good overall. The buffet had a huge variety of food, so there was something for everyone — even picky eaters. Our favorite restaurant was the Italian restaurant, which had excellent meals. The Privi [... read more]lege breakfast was also very nice, with the option to enjoy the buffet or order directly from their menu. Mike’s Coffee was always busy, but it was definitely worth the wait. The coffee and treats there were a great way to start the day or take a quick break in the afternoon. The resort is fairly large, so the trolley service was great to have for getting around easily. We also had WiFi all over the resort, which was very convenient. The lazy river was a lot of fun and something we used often during our stay. Another highlight was feeding the fish in the lagoon — that was a really cool experience. The lagoon area itself was great because it was mostly sandy with very few rocks. One part of the beach was a bit rocky, but it was manageable if you had water shoes. The lagoon definitely made up for that. Nexus also offered a free visit to a local store, which was a nice extra and a good opportunity to pick up souvenirs. We chose not to take part in the timeshare presentation, and the staff were respectful and not pushy when we said no. One tip for visitors: don’t go on the second floor of the lighthouse. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend El Faro Resort to anyone visiting Punta Cana.

Breathless Punta Cana Resort: Amazing Resort

Very clean,wonderful staff and excellent variety of food! Beautiful beach,lots of activities to do. Lots of restaurants to choose from too. Entertainment was top notch and loved their costumes! Would go again.

Punta Cana Princess: Quite Resort

The Punta Cana Princess resort was exceptionally well-maintained. The grounds were meticulously manicured. The rooms were stunning, complete with a jacuzzi that we enjoyed every night. The dining experience was good but no seafood at the buffet. My favorite was at the Fondue House, Steak (fajitas excellent) and Italian Restaurant. Reservations were not necessary. Guests also had the privilege of visiting both sister resorts. If you were interested in shows, visiting the other resorts was a must. [... read more] We would like to extend special thanks to two staff members at the buffet, ORDALINA AND YUDELKA, for making our stay delightful. The music in the evenings was subject to complaints due to loud bass and late playing until 11:30 pm. The casino transport, which was supposed to run every 15 minutes from 8:30 pm, did not arrive until after 9 pm.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Friendly Resort

This was our first time to this resort. We have nothing to complain about! The food was amazing, the staff went out of their way to help you. You felt special everywhere you went.The martini bar is awesome ! The staff there made it a highlight of the evening. The pool entertainment was great. We had a lot of laughs and a few dance lessons. So much fun in the foam party to the beach party! We loved the canoe full of beer.The coffee shop was how we started each morning. Definately going back!

Royalton CHIC Punta Cana: Nice but not at the standard of the Royalton Brand

Stayed at many Royalton hotels and this specific location definitely is in need of an upgrade and refresh The hotel rooms were sub-standard - mold in the washrooms and very dated look and feel. For some reason there is a window in the shower that directly faces the bed - very strange. The lobby, pool area, walk areas, all had chipped stones, and or broken tiles. The electrical in some places were just extension cords throughout. The AV for the day, was sub standard, and most times, during [... read more] events, the music would cut out, or not work. The pool absolutely did NOT have enough seating areas. We had to get up at 6:30am just to make sure there was a chair for the day. It is all inclusive, however the small cabanas were $50US to rent - so they were empty and yet there was no place to sit. People were taking other peoples chairs and umbrellas. At one point, they also ran out of towels. The pool was also not very clean and every day, since there was wind, one of the small pools was completely covered in sand. Public washrooms, were clean, but sometimes, ran out of T-paper, and the stall door handles were either "hanging-on" or broken off. The restaraunts, there are four BUT only two on a given night were open, so was very hard to book to eat since the reservations were already booked up. The cafeteria, was the only option for eating. It was good, but every day, breakfast, lunch and dinner - you get very bored with eating and what is available. Would have been nice to be able to dress up for a nice dinner. Gift shop is very expensive. If you need sunscreen, the min price is between 29-49US for a bottle. On a positive, the people were nice and friendly. Others, were a little desparate for tips.

Breathless Punta Cana Resort: 5 star resort

The resort is beautiful. Staff very helpful and seem to be happy at their jobs. The common areas are well maintained. The pools are very clean. The beach area is great, lots of chairs and space, clean. The buffet is incredible. Some of the restaurants are great, a couple need some attention. The rooms are clean, well maintained, stocked, comfortable. The only negative would be to avoid weeks of college break, the resort is overrun with large groups of college students. Punta Cana Princess: Property amazing, rooms are terrible

Just got back from Punta Cana Princess. I always read the reviews prior to going anywhere, but, everyone has their own opinions, you just can't please everyone. Positives - property is just stunning, staff is wonderful, zero complaints there, food is plentiful and okay, very out dated but clean, steak house is amazing. Trolly service was awesome, and a huge bonus f [... read more]or my husband. Negatives - air conditioning was less that okay, could not get the room temp below 26.5 issue was never addressed. In room coffee pot was broken and took three days to get a replacement. It may not seem to be a big deal to some, but, when my husband has mobility issues and I have to venture out of room for morning coffee, it was a big deal to us. Safe had a low battery (not a big fix, but would not put anything in it just in case I was locked out) issue never addressed. Sliding patio door, just a mess. It literally came off the track. The vertical aluminum strip with the lock mechanism actually fell off, I kicked it back on several times, but it never did lock. Being on the ground floor because of mobility issues, clearly an issue. Going out to the patio was one of the few things my husband could to with confidence, that came to a quick end. Manager approached us in the main lobby (a big smile on his face) asking "how is your vacation?" He went away without his smile after hearing my issues and opinion. The patio door was "fixed" immediately by simply screwing the frame back together, still unable to lock, and extremely difficult to open and close. Sport Bar food was all premade, and less that desirable. I would not recommend this resort to anyone. We picked our battles, got to make the best of it!!

Majestic Elegance Punta Cana: Amazing Resort

I have been to many resorts over the years but this one felt like Paradise. The grounds are very beautiful and easy to get from place to place. It is kept very clean excellent job keeping the entire facility immaculate. There is a lot of variety of food and amazing restaurants choices. You will never go hungry. Our favourite was the Italian restaurant. The entertainment team work very hard to make your stay enjoyable. Special shout out to Udid, Pepa, Michelle and Victor. The only negative [... read more] I found was that everyone was asking for reviews on a daily basis. This gets too repetitive every day as I am trying to leave technology behind and enjoy my vacation fully. This should only be requested at checkout where there is form or IPAD with the staff members names to make our review comments. The resorts should focus on a memorable stay and not feedback on their staff. With all this said I would definitely go back to this resort again.

VIK Hotel Arena Blanca: Meh

Terrible service, foods okay, beach/pool good. Rooms are terrible, safe didn’t work, AC half worked, showers were hot/cold depending on time of day - resort is packed. Not really much to do at night, shows are meh. Okay value but resort is very meh

Grand Bavaro Princess: Beautiful resort

This resort is amazing . It is quite massive but the atmosphere is so beautiful. The eco walk was so cool with all the wildlife. We enjoyed all the peacocks, mascovy ducks and egrets and herons who own the place. So many a la carte and a beautiful beach and pool to enjoy. I will add that if you can afford make sure to go platinum because the exclusive buffet, grill and soho restaurant are worth the uncharted for sure

Dreams Cap Cana Resort and Spa: An amazing vacation

We had a wonderful week. The place Never seems crowded, no line to wait for at restaurants Pools were alittle cool but refreshing. All food was awesome. Staff was amazing too I rate this resort an 9 out of 10

Barcelo Bavaro Palace: Lovely resort

We spent 10 days at this great resort and enjoyed the activities, nightly entertainment, beach and pool. We had reservations at many of the a la carte restaurants and enjoyed each one. Looking forward to returning here next year!

Breathless Punta Cana Resort: Beautiful resort

Everything was perfect From the people to beach ⛱️ And Everything in between!!! Having access to dreams onyx the family side was great. The Waterpark with the slides & lazy river..restaurants was an added bonus.

Grand Palladium Select Bavaro: It was alright

The staff at the resort was amazed The food on the other hand was not.it was cold and in the one buffet you where guessing what you where eating. And if you’re not in the family section or the all adults you are limited to where you can eat. It would have been nice to have fruit and some snacks available though out the day.

Bakour Punta Cana Suites: Nice Resort

my husband and I just returned from this resort. We are in our early 70's so this was great for us. very quiet and small, we were upgraded to a 3 bd suitee with full kitchen and livingroom with a large patio with hot tub. Staff was great and food was very good. the only complaint we had was we are beach people. Although the sand was nice and soft and there was alot of beach chairs and umbrella's the water was terrible that you couldnt swim in it. They anchor boats there which you are sw [... read more]imming in gas and diesel and the weeds are terrible, you can walk down about 200 ft to a nicer beach but then you dont have chairs, drinks, or washrooms. If the beach was better we would diffenently go back

Ocean Blue and Sand: LOVED this resort

My husband and I have never stayed at an Ocean signature resort / H10 hotel line and the Ocean Blue and Sand resort did not disappoint. We were very impressed at the location in Punta Cana. It was a great stay and no real complaints that impacted our stay. Food, service, beach, pools, and our room were all fantastic. We appreciate Margaret's support, from TripCentral, who helped us book this last minute getaway!

Dreams Flora Resort and Spa: Beautiful resort

This resort was beautiful. The grounds were like a tropical garden. Pools were clean, fun, and although sometimes difficult to get loungers, there was always the beach. It is an easy resort to walk with everything in close proximity to our room. The room was nice, however, we had to ask at times to have the room cleaned and leave notes for items that needed to be replenished such as towels, toilet paper, body wash and shampoo.
