Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Beautiful Resort

The resort and the grounds are beautifully kept. The staff is friendly and make you feel special. Lots of choices to eat. Loved the adults side. The Italian restaurant was my favorite place to eat. The Michael Jackson show a must see. Fantastic show. I will stay in a Bahia resort again.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Top quality resort

This was our third time at this resort and we’re still impressed! Absolutely amazing food, staff and gorgeous grounds. The pools are always immaculate, there is always fresh food available 24/7, bars are abundant and the beach is always clean with plenty of chairs and calm waters for swimming. I would highly recommend this this resort for families, couples, groups... everybody!!

Very nice, well organized , clean Resort! Very friendly and helpful staff, amazing food! We can definitely go there again and recommend this Resort to family and friends. The most important at this time is clean up sea weed - they take good care of it. This way the beach is always nice and clean. Lets go to the Akumal!!!

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great Stay!

This property and this all inclusive package was a great stay overall and very good value for the money spent. The transfer to the resort was pleasant and relatively quick. My room was available early on check-in and was more than comfortable, spacious and clean. Resort provides great system of transportation, yet very quick walks gets you to beach, other resorts and pools. Staff friendly and food quality good overall. Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Disappointed!!!!

Our first room the air didn't work that after the 3rd call I went down to the desk and asked for the manager who then came to our room and moved us at 12:30am to another room with air, after that the toilet broke ( they came and fixed) hair dryer broke ( they came and fixed) fan broke (they came and fixed) but the air in this second room hardly worked at all and nothing was ever done about it. Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Amazing Resort with Even Amazing Workers

Such a wonderful resort with many great things to write about. The rooms were beautiful and were cleaned twice a day.. Once in the morning and once in the afternoon, with evening chocolates left in the evening! We had a junior suite in block 26.. Could see the ocean from our room, but wasn't an oceanfront view, but was still beautiful. The food was amazing. We did not book our a la carte restaurants prior to arriving, which we should have. The omelettes in the morning... Amazing! I can't say any more positive things about this place!! We can't wait to go back next year!! We spent the majority of our time by the pool, and enjoyed the entertainment portion during the day, but were in bed early each night so can't comment on the evening entertainment. We did hear that the Beach Party was great though! Again, it's an amazing resort!!

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great Resort / Great Staff

Booked with Air Canada Vacations through Tripcentral's Shauna. With Air Canada we were booked in the Premier Area of the resort. Smaller section, excellent customer service at the check-in desk and great wait-staff at the bar. Shuttles were very helpful as my wife has issues with her knee. Our room in building 3B, 30309 was clean and well maintained through the week. Juan Canche, one of the porters, made sure we had a shuttle to help my wife's knee from paining. Eladia, one of the waitres [... read more]ses in the Premier lobby bar always provided excellent service with a smile. I believe in tipping for great service, which I did on a regular basis. Thank you to the great people of the GBP Coba for making our 5th time at that resort, just as great as the first time.

We have been here 6 times now, and have never been disappointed. The grounds, the food, the activities...everything is superb. We will be back in a year, with the whole family! The Hacienda is super fun, the 24 hr snack shack works perfect for us, and the people...the ones serving us, and taking care of us are phenomenal! If you want to feel like royalty, then stay here!!!

The hotel was perfect, the food was great and the beach was amazing. The staff was so nice. The transfer from the airport to the hotel was very quick the location perfect. I would return to this place anytime..

Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Amazing resort

This resort was a five star resort all the way. The rooms were spotless, the floors were shining. The service was spectacular. The pools were very clean. The beach was very nice no kelp to deal with, sand was soft on the feet. The restaurants had excellent food choices. Our Buffets had plenty of food choices, no need for anyone to say they are still hungry after leaving there. AMAZING PLACE.

The Eurostars Grand Cayacoa: Great time

Resort was very clean and staff works very hard to please. They have three very good restaurants to have dinner as well as the main dinning room. The beach is okay but you get lots of Ocean views everywhere you go.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Fabulous Resort

We had a wonderful stay at the resort. Friendly staff, clean rooms, and amazing food. Every night there was wonderful entertainment to enjoy. The beaches were beautiful and relaxing not very deep for swimming. If you wanted to swim you would have to walk further down on the beach to find a spot where you would be able to swim. We will definitely return to this resort.

We stayed at Sian Ka'an from Oct. 23 to Nov. 3, 2018. It was our third visit in as many years and we were again impressed with the cleanliness of the resort buildings, the grounds and pool areas and the jungle setting is gorgeous. The staff are great, especially Anabel who greeted us by name daily at the breakfast and lunch buffet.Claudia remembered our coffee order each morning and Mariana in the Lobby Bar was another of the many staff who made us feel welcome. There is plenty of selection at the buffet and even at the smaller Cenote Restaurant. As seems to be common at all the resorts we have been to, some items could stand to be a bit warmer. The four a la cartes we visited (two at Sian Ka'an and one each at Tulum and Akumal) were very good. Seaweed continues to be an issue with huge piles along the beach on our first day there. But staff worked non-stop each day and after one week the Sian Ka'an section of beach was cleared up. Staff managed to keep on top of the problem the remainder of our stay. Sian Ka'an is a great resort and the fact that you have access to the facilities of the three other Bahia Principe properties is an added bonus. We will be back!

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Fantastic and very busy resort (Coba)

We found the Coba was more of a family resort. It was too crazy busy. However, we had access to the Tulum resort which was a bit quieter. It's a shame that the beaches had a lot of stones and seeweed. However, the workers worked hard every day to remove them. The food and drinks were great. No complaints there. My husband and I were at one of their sister resorts a few years ago (Sian Kaan, adult only resort). We would definitely go back to that resort instead. Access to their beach wa [... read more]s much cleaner and no stones or seeweed in their section. I would only recommend this resort (Coba) to families not couples.

Good choice of restaurants. Buffet gets a bit repetitive. Room was large and comfortable. Large resort but there is a good transportation system to take you around the resort. Beach is experiencing a lot of seaweed but staff works hard to remove it every day.

The resort is beautiful, clean, and great for families. The staff provided great service. The privilege club could tone down the aggressive sales pitch. If going to playa de Carmen shopping avenues be prepared to be harassed by the vendors. The food was amazing, tons of variety and tasted phenomenal. Will definitely be back.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Just ok

Return last week from two weeks at Royal Golden section. Be sure to bring a lot of bug spray as mosquitos are very active as well as send flies and ants. Also learn some Spanish as most of service people in hotel do not speak English at all. Resort is huge so if you are not in good shape and ready to walk a lot, consider some other place. Yes, there are trains around resort but you will still need to walk to them and wait. As for Royal Golden section, do not waste your money. You do not get any [... read more]thing more then regular section except more sales invitation. We were last time in Bavaro Princess for about same amount of money and I would not think twice about going back to Princess but we will not be back to Bahia. Nothing specially bad about this resort but too big to take care of everything in proper way and prefer Spanish guests. For same or less money there are better choices.

The resort at Ambar Green or now Aquamarine has some very friendly and helpful staff. We ran into some problems but they were always trying to correct them. Some they could correct easily like making sure our water and chips were brought to room each day. Also when we arrived they did not have a room with two beds for us so we had to stay the first night in a king room then move the next day. I was very disappointed in the fact that the only place adults only could eat breakfast or lunch was the buffet. The beach buffet had kids there too and we were turned off eating there because kids were touching food etc. there was a section right beside it that we thought was for us in adult only Ambar but were told it was only for PRIVILEDGE guests. Very annoying. We paid more for adults only for a reason. So, after that we had to come back to the main buffet for lunch when we went to the beach. Although most of the a la carte restaurants are in the family sections the Brazillian at the Esmarelda was awesome, we went there twice, not many children were eating in there either. The only issue we had with going to other areas for dinner was getting timely transportation back. After the second time waiting 20 minutes and asking several people to get us a ride we learned on the third time to ask our driver from Ambar who took us and he gave us his cell number to call when we were done. Also very frustrating was the free gift offer they leave in the room saying to get gift in lobby and enter a draw too. Well, that is BS because you don’t get the free gift or the chance to enter the draw unless you do a tour of Fantasia. That is wrong and not only that the badgering you get from the guy even after saying no several times is unacceptable. We were frustrated enough after ruining our oft whole ay waiting to get another room, didn’t need more time wasted. The pool was big and hardly ever many people at it, always empty chairs all around so you never had to search for chairs any time of day. Maria in buffet is the best, always happy and making sure we were too. They should clone her. We only ate dinner there the first night and did a la carte all the others so can’t say much about what the dinners there are like. The breakfast and lunches were good but often lacked in potatoes and rice options. I already mentioned the Brazillian being the best. The Asian at Esmarelda was also good. Tex mex was good once inside but the greeters at the outside turned us off from ever going there again. They stood there chatting with two young girls in bikinis instead of making a drink outside for guests. Also the bench was full of sand where the two girls sat and when I went to sit there I told the guy, he ignored it so we stood until they let us inside. Since customer service phoned us everyday to ask we advised them of all we thought was not good. The manager Smiley then called us for further details. Sony, one of the customer service guys arranged for us to get a reservation at Brazillian and cancelled our last night reservation for Tex mex when we told him about that experience.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Fabulous Resort

Love the only adults area with the Infinity pool, my favourite spot to swim all day. The restaurant is close to the pool and the servers go out of their way to please you! Would like to have some up to date music around the Infinity pool!
