Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: ExceptionL

The grounds were beautiful, the people were exceptionally attentive. The entertainment was lacking, but our overall vacation was fantastic! We took advantage of all they had to offer including a shoping trip that cannot be explained and must be experienced for ones self. A definate return in our future!

Legends Beach Resort: Back to the Sixties!

Enjoyed our stay but Legends felt more like a motel stay than a real resort. No entertainment at night, bar closed at ten and meal times were pre-set. No snack bar. It was however quite tropical, beautiful trees and flowers. The beach area was small with the loungers placed close together. If your neighbour chose to smoke or smoke weed, well then so were you! We did feel very safe leaving our beach gear on the chairs while walking or swimming as the security was very good. Nice job by Mic [... read more]hael the beach guy. We took the shuttle to their sister resort and really enjoyed swimming along the cliffs there. Easy to climb down the stairs into the water if you're not up to jumping. Fun watching the vendors come along the beach with Jamaican patties, lobsters and fresh fruit. Rooms were dated but clean. Tv reception was quite good with several movie channels.

Jewel Runaway Bay Resort: Jewel runaway bay resort

Hotel was very clean and small so it was easy to get around. Service was amazing loved the people very welcoming,not pushy at all. food was bomb I Forsure would recommend this resort great place for the money spent.

Sandals Ochi Beach Resort: Best Couple Resort Experience!!

This hotel had everything we where looking for and more. This property was fun and exciting but also had privacy when we needed it. We stayed in the butler suites and enjoyed our own private pool. During the day we would go to the one of many pools or to the Oceanside and enjoy the beach. The food is above average and the service was incredible. Grand Pineapple Beach: The cutest little Resort in Negril

I have stayed almost 700 nights at this resort and I think that I speak for most of the guests that have ever stayed there, that it is the best place in Jamaica.There's nothing to fancy but the staff,beach,location,grounds and the resort itself make it a dream holiday for everyone.From the day that you arrive until the day that you leave you'll enjoy ever minute of your stay and will immediately start making plans for your next visit to GP.

Everything was perfect! Believe the positive reviews, they are all true. The negative reviews come from negative people. If you can't be happy here, you can't be happy anywhere! Room, grounds, food, beach, staff and especially the Jamaican people were wonderful! Definitely going back!! Not worth paying extra for the Don Pablo luxury side as the Grand Bahia Principe Jamaica had what we needed.

Sandals Dunn's River: Amazing Resort!!

I thought the Hotel was Breathtaking...the Staff were Amazing...the Food was To-Die-For, I couldn't get enough...such a selection of food & all wonderfully prepared!! Best All-Inclusive I've ever been to!! One suggestion to the Hotel Management...provide a change machine available for breaking $20's for tipping staff. I found it was hard to come by change in the hotel, and would have liked more emphasis and variety of tipping methods throughout the stay. Grand Palladium Jamaica: Amazing Resort

This hotel is one of my all time favorites, the food is phenomenal, the drinks are delicious, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the laboring staff is what makes this place so special.Unfortunately, I cant say the same for the management running the front desk. As a fourth time repeater, I was expecting some VIP amenities ex: a nicer room with ocean view, not put at the back of the resort facing the main road, the only VIP amenities we got to use was for making reservations at dinner. Like I said its the laboring staff (pool boys, the guys filling up the fridges, and the gardeners that make this place so special!

Rooms On The Beach: Convenient and moderate!

Access to beach is the best part of this hotel. Front desk staff can do with a refresher training on guest services. Overall price paid is good for all that was included. This is my fourth trip to this resort.

This resort is one of the destination we have seen.. The rooms are very clean and very nice. The view from our room was fantastic . OPEN View The food is one of the best we ever had This is our second time to this resort.. We are in the process of saving our money for a third trip. LOVE THIS PLACE

Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall: Honeymoon Heaven!

THE FOOOD!! Can we just start there? I gained 6lbs at this resort because all I did was sleep and eat and sleep and eat and it was marvelous! The Italian and Asian restaurants were my favourite. We made a point to try every restaurant and snack shack during our 7 day stay and everything was delicious including the Nacho Bar and Jerk Chicken Pizza! The Junior Suite was lovely and the big soaker tub was just what the doctor ordered. There were 3 options for beaches, 2 of the 3 were very rocky but  [... read more]the 3rd was absolutely picture perfect. (its the one shared with the family side of the resort so there are kids at this one). The staff was very attentive, helpful and polite and it was a nice quick trip from the airport to the resort. The shows in the evenings were ok, nothing spectacular but the ambiance was so lovely just sitting out under the stars, it didn't really matter what music we were listening to or what performance we were watching that night. The only thing I really missed was any sort of night life. At other resorts I have seen Dance Halls and Discos that stay open until 2am but this place pretty much rolls up the sidewalks by 9pm. (could have been a slower season i suppose?) It's delightful if you are looking for a quiet getaway but probably not ideal if you want to get out and dance or party til the wee hours.

Riu Negril: Amazing Resort!

Had a fabulous time with my family. The resort was very clean, staff was very friendly and the food was amazing. I would definitely go again. Unfortunately due to Hurricane Irma the beach was not swimmable for the first 3 days and the sand had a lot of debris washed up but they brought in loaders and cleaned it all up like nothing happened so I still got to enjoy the beach side for 4 days.

Secrets St James: Secret St. James--a must return trip!!!

This was my second visit to Secret St. James in Montego Bay, Jamaica. I absolutely love this resort. Always, upfront, I must commend the staff--they make this hotel what it is. I have shared my thoughts with everyone I speak with who asks--and even when the don't ask (smile), what a wonderful group of people and resort this is. The food is awesome and grounds are impeccable. You can see the pride the staff that work here take in what they do. I want to say a special thanks to Chef Wright at the Blue Mountain Restaurant for taking the time and effort to make my dinning time extra special—the fried fish was awesome (I boasted to everyone about my special treatment (smile). Secrets St James: Secret St. James in Jamaica--A Must Return!!

Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: loved it

Great compact resort, the people are very friendly and helpful. Only one elevator working which was a pain to service everyone in the hotel but overall happy with our stay. Peter at the swim up bar was awesome! He made the days fun and was super nice! The young lady that did Yoga on the ocean and abs/yoga on the beach (sorry don't remember her name) was awesome! Great teacher in a beautiful environment! Our first time in Jamaica and we will definitely be back!

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Awesome people

Over all the hotel was lovely. The rooms were not amazing, but all the restaurants, pools, bar, bathrooms and other public places were amazing! The best part of the hotel experience was the staff. They were friendly, helpful and really made my stay easy.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Fabulous pool!

We spent 6 days at this beautiful resort. It was clean and well maintained. The food was great, with several options. We went scuba diving and snokeling and the dive shop staff were fantastic! My only "complaint" if I would even call it that would be the areas with air conditioning were not very cool. I realize it was 40 degrees out but it would have been nice to get a break from the heat.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Amazing experience!

Hotel was super nice! Clean and modern. Rooms were big and beautiful. Large balcony! Staff was amazing! So polite and really was just overall always happy and wanting to make our experience and vacation as best as they can! Beach was small, and quite rocky. Premium booze was a plus! Overall amazing resort, would definitely go back

Catalonia Montego Bay: great vacation, wonderful people

Our stay at the Holiday Inn was very pleasant. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our deluxe room was on a corner, second floor and over looking the ocean. Pauline and the other housekeeping staff ensured the room was clean and were quick to supply anything that was needed. We were there while Hurricane Irma was devastating the other Islands and Florida. While we had a little bit of rain and it made some larger surf, we were very luck to miss the full force of the storm. Staff at the  [... read more]hotel were paying close attention to the weather and seemed to be prepared to act if necessary. The storm did wash in a large amount of seaweed to the beaches, which was quickly cleaned up by the beach staff. Those travelling with children would be happy to know that , smoking on the grounds is limited to one smoking area, and that there is laundry rooms available free of charge for guest to use. It was our first visit to Jamaica and we certainly will go back. Thanks Heather at Trip Central, once again provided us with a great vacation.

Secrets Wild Orchid: Triple amazing Resort!!

Our time at Secrets Wild Orchid was breathtaking. I cried when we got onto the airport shuttle! Every single thing I would rank as excellent. Food, room, view, housekeeping, friendliness of staff, day activities, the beach, the cafes on site, wow. Can't say how wonderful it all was. I now trust trip central and your rankings. There is no other website I've seen that creates rankings with as much clarity as you do.
