Melia Costa Rey: Exceeded expectations!

I was traveling with my cousin and best friend, looking for a temporary escape from reality. This was the absolute perfect setting for just that. A week filled with sunshine, beautiful beaches, the most kind hearted people, unparalleled hospitality and total relaxation. The lobby in itself is spectacular...large open concept style over looking the entire resort. Very clean rooms, great facilities and a plethora of evening entertainment. Already planning our trip back next year!

Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo: A good week

This is an almost new resort so everything is in good shape. There a a couple of customer services issues and one bad meal during the week. but overall I would come back. I did enjoy the restaurant meals over the buffet.

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Good for the price

Accommodations were about average, no hot water during busy periods (like just before dinner, 5-8ish) The entertainment team is absolutely fantastic! Shout out to Alex, chocolate, and yerdanys! Overall, great place for young people as the entertainment is phenomenal and the hotel itself is pretty average and safe.

Melia Cayo Coco: Loved Melia Cayo Coco

We just returned from our Jan 8-16th 2019 trip to the Melia Cayo Coco. Rooms were clean. Beach was beautiful soft white sand and seaweed was combed daily. Food was good, excellent selection. We heard from others that the food was the best in Cuba of any resort they have stayed at. The pool was quiet and it was always easy to find a lounge chair. Nightly entertainment and music/singers were wonderful! Overall a great value! we would return again. one word of advice- One day it rained like crazy and afterward huge swarms of mosquitos came out and bit all the guests very badly. This only happened once after heavy rain so bring bug spray with DEET just in case. Also stay off the beach at night to avoid sand flea bites. Follow these rules and you'll have no issue. Bring ear plugs if you're noise sensitive - If your room backs onto the pool or 24 snack bar is can get a little loud from late night guests and frogs in the lagoon

Very well kept resort, common areas,pool and rooms very clean. Excellent service received from the Front Desk staff, Pool staff, Lobby Bar and Buffet. Italian restaurant the best in my opinion. Overall good experience and would return to this resort.

Sol Cayo Coco: Going back for sure!

There were no insects except mosquitoes for 30 minutes at dinner time which were easily avoidable! The food was the best it's ever been and the beaches immaculate. The staff were amazing and I will be returning!

Melia Jardines del Rey: Disaster! the no "pan" Spanish for bread - Hotel

The only nice feature of the hotel is the entrance lobby. It is unfortunate that many hard working staff members are subjected to the problems in management of this property. Unable to get bottles of water stocked in the bar fridge on a regular basis. If you are not in your room, it doesn't happen. Beach towels that look like they have been used to mop the floor. When you ask for a different one, they don't have any. Sliding doors and safes that don't work. How do you lock up your v [... read more]aluables in such a room? Shower floor that tilts away from the drain, bringing water out into the bathroom. No water to take a shower in the evening. X2 Buffet restaurant opens at 7pm at 7:10pm no longer accepting guests because its full. Line ups for 30-45 minutes to get simple slices of pizza, eggs for breakfast. The list goes on. In contrast, Melia Cayo Coco, 20 minutes by bus, on a day pass was excellent. Go figure. In summary, management has lost control of repairs and maintenance, and general service quality on this expansive property. Too big and too many guests to manage. And finally, yes, they often don't have bread, (No "pan") and or oil and vinegar for salads. If your brave enough to try this place, bring your own, including lots of mosquito repellent. Cheers!

I found the rooms lovely as well as all the staff who worked at resort, especially the entertainment staff. Ilan and Ilen were so friendly and always working hard to engage everyone pool side to take part in activities. I did find some of the food at times cold at the buffet, the grounds were lovely. Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Fantastic holiday

This was my second visit to Cuba- the first time staying at one of their resorts. It was amazing. The grounds are clean and spacious. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The food was great and the weather was fantastic. The beach was stunning. We are already planning our next vacation.

Melia Costa Rey: Small, friendly and just right!

The resort was small but lovely, the food was great, the pools and the beach were awesome! But the people, they were absolutely amazing! We greatly enjoyed our first family trip to Cuba! The kids had a blast. We didn’t access the mini club, but we went every night to the mini disco and they loved it. The staff, entertainment, servers, everyone who worked there were fantastic!!!!

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Great resort

The staff is amazing. So engaging and lively ! It was a pleasant stay. We got what we needed. The beach was so close and beautiful. The chefs were phenomenal and always went above and beyond. Servers were so attentive and quick to bring what you needed. Entertainment was breathtaking. Such talent is incomprehensible. Thank you meeeeeEeemories !

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Enjoyable Vacation

Just returned from Memories Caribe on Jan 13th. Five of us went down to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday and all in all it was a good time and a good value for what we paid. Some negatives and some positives for sure. The bad: The resort was a little dated but they are making efforts to fix it up. Unfortunately, that meant that two of the restaurants were under construction. Our biggest complaints were the room washrooms,the bugs and not much to do after the nightly show. The rooms we had (which were newly renovated) had open concept washrooms. No privacy in the shower or toilet area (no doors) which made it a little uncomfortable with our son sharing our room. Food was good but a little bland in taste. The Good: The staff were fantastic and always willing to help. We didn't like our original rooms and they moved us to another area of the compound. The nightly shows were awesome. Professionally done, well choreographed and beautiful outfits. The pool entertainment staff really made our vacation though. A big shout out to Zoe and Daniella who really do their job well, engage the customers and really bring a personal touch to their work. High energy individuals and lots of fun. Zoe was even there when we departed for the airport to say her final good byes. What a nice touch! Would certainly return if I could figure out how to keep the bugs away.

Melia Jardines del Rey: over all had a good time

The resort over all is nice a lot of walking the rooms are great but try to get a bottom floor they have to update there food in the main dinning area the sever are never around the food in the morning is great but in the evening it sucks also I think they should have sign as to what the food is.

Melia Costa Rey: Great experience

grounds and all are as nice and good as Cuba can offer. Food was good but similar everyday. A la carte restaurants were there to help. Great beach and water! Get to Pillar beach - it does worth the trip!

Hotel Playa Paraiso: My 4th visit - love it

Smaller resort, you can walk from one end to the other in 5 minutes. Clean and well kept. Friendly staff and an ocean/beach to die for. Only 12 minutes from the airport, and you can safely walk the beach east or west for a mile

Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo: Fantastic resort definitely would recommend going there

Had an amazing experience the staff was awesome Super friendly made Me and my girlfriend feel very welcome would definitely go back I have to say one of the best resorts I’ve been to. As well the excursions were great deals and amazing super fun time and the food was pretty good for Cuba

Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo: Beautiful & small resort

We would visit this resort, everything is minutes to get to which is great for anyone with problems walking/wheel chairs or age related. The pools are very clean and all the lots seating area's never a problem getting a lounge chair.A swim up bar with seating area also and stools in the pool. The beach is beautiful also with a bar, a area to book paddle boats and different water related things to use. No shortage of lounge chairs or shade, also a buffet lunch which turns into the Seafood ala car [... read more]te in the evening. Kids area has a pool and another smaller one with a great water feature in the middle of the large one, they also have a building with a inside play area and all are fenced in with lots of lounge chairs. No shortage of entertainment inside the lobby and outside or in the auditorium. Pool activities daily and I think at the beach they do exercises or some sort of fun things I was told. No shortage of food but the Snack bar is open 24 hrs with a buffet during the day and a menu with a bar, this is right beside the pools. The buffee area has lots of seating area's and the food had lots of variety and things do change so it's not a repeat of eating the same foods daily, they do have 1 micro wave to use. The rooms are very clean, we had no problem getting cleaning towels or toilet rolls like some say they did. Bring face clothes as they don't have them. All the staff we dealt with were great no complaints on any of them. They do have a hair place for $, cigar room and a gym also a pool table room with a bar also. A large sitting area & evening bar outside of the buffee where all these buildings are located and the auditorium. The grounds are very well maintained. No shortage of beach towels but you have to be there at 9:30 a.m when they come in and maybe bring some and leave them just in case you have to wait for one. Our building was 2A facing the pools, main floor and it was great and the views were awesome.

the hotel was very nice. The service was great from all of the staff. They were very helpful, friendly, and willing to help wherever they could. I'm happy we chose this place. The grounds were very well kept and clean. The pools were very nice and clean.

Melia Costa Rey: Amazing!!

We thoroughly enjoyed this resort. Its beautiful and they aim to please. If you pay attention there are small touches that you would never receive from other hotels. We went with our 10 month old which is an excursion in its self but we are so happy we chose the Pullman. For some having a baby naps really put you on a schedule so the dinner buffet starting 630pm was a hustle for us. We do plan to return.

Hotel Camino del Mar: Beautiful , clean, resort

Rooms were well kept,,,people are very nice and helpful, food was good but notice buffet not hot food,,,beach and warf was beautiful, wished for different kinds entertainment,,,beach was great , lots of activities,,place to go very friendly and very safe
