Riu Montego Bay: Amazing vacation!
My boyfriend & I were there from Oct 12 - Oct 19 and we had a blast! Don't let the negative reviews of people with high expectations fool you. If you've ever stayed at any Riu hotels, you'll know they have a standard to uphold and Riu Montego Bay did not disappoint! Room: we were in room 1118 and had two double beds pushed together to create a "king" bed. There were 4 bottles for liquor as their "mini bar" and a fridge that was replenished with water and pop every other day. The bathroom was [... read more]
Riu Reggae: Relaxing resort
The staff are simply wonderful and the resort is well maintained. The buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner were awesome. Was not really thrilled with the food provided at the restaurants. Close proximity to the airport. Once in a while you will hear planes overhead but they really don't bother you.
Riu Naiboa: Very clean and super service
The only thing I would recommend is better coffee and access to the other hotels would be nice. Could also do without the bingo or make it at an earlier time and just add more dancing before the show..................................................................................
Riu Tequila: Very nice resort
Great beach area with a few snorkeling spots 20 minutes beach walk. Great food but small pool, rooms clean and spacious. Resort is located very close to 5th avenue shopping area in Playa del Carmen. There is a shopping mall right beside the resort, please do not go there. Is the biggest scam I ever seen, they literally charge you 30 to 50 times the value of the goods. Instead go visit Centro Maya in Playa del Carmen. I need to go there to buy basic stuff as Sunwing Airline mishandle one of [... read more]
Riu Naiboa: Great hotel!
Cleanliness is a 5* Service is a 5* Animation team are hardworking, funny and engaged. Do Bingo in afternoon and change activities at night, musical trivia... Another plus: no réservations required for a la carte restaurants. Suggestions: Let clients "stay and play" at the other RIUS, as beach grill is under construction Had a great week!
Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Stunning Resort
We have been to this resort twice now. It is absolutely our favorite. The staff are genuinely happy to help and the resort is immaculately clean. We travelled with our two toddlers, parents my sister and my husband. The food was delicious and plenty of choices. The restaurants were amazing. The entertainment was top notch compared to other resorts we have been to. I honestly can not say anything negative as we truly had a wonderful time.
Riu Playa Blanca: Good resort but very isolated
The Resort/Hotel is great but its approx. 125 kms away from Panama City. Note the drive to Panama City can be 1 hour 12 mins without traffic and 2 hours 30 mins in traffic. There are no great places to visit in the surrounding area. You are pretty much confined to the resort unless you rent your own car or buy a package tour. They have Ace Car Rrental right in the main lobby and you should try to book in advance if you do plan to go outside of the resort as their selection and number of cars is [... read more]
Riu Vallarta: Great week at Riu Vallarta!
The grounds were in great shape. The food was very good! It was better than our last two stays. The entertainment staff did an awesome job! The resort was good and so was our room. I do wish that because this was our third stay there that we would not have had to use our Riu points to change rooms so that my sister and brother-in-law could be in the room beside us. I could also not negotiate with the front desk to keep our room for an additional 3 hours on the day we were leaving without paying [... read more]
Riu Reggae: OK resort
The hotel was fresh and clean only being a year or two old. The restaurants were ok not a lot to choose from when they were open. 1steak house, a Buffett,Chinese, Mediterranean, Italian. The swim up bar was good and the bartenders were very interacting with the guests and very friendly ( once they saw me a drink or 2 were there laid in front of me) which made me very happy.👠The pool was great and only having 2(main and a martini bar). Not a lot of daytime entertainment and not much music bei [... read more]
Riu Palace Antillas: Simply Amazing!
This was my first time to Aruba, I decided to treat myself. Now how will I ever go anywhere else??? I’ve been pretty much all over the Caribbean and none of them hold a candle to Aruba!! Beach is stunning, food was amazing and hotel and staff were great. If I had any complaint, it would be that the hotel is a bit dated. Thank You Amanda G from Tripcentral for all your help!! I will definitely be contacting you for my next vacation!!
Riu Palace Antillas: Amazing Beach
The hotel and beach was very clean. The staff was very Friendly and the food was great with a large variety. The late night eating doesn't have much variety. Shops were pretty expensive but worth it when you see how beautiful the resort is
Riu Naiboa: Wonderful trip
My daughter and I did indeed enjoy our trip to the Dominion Republic with tripcentral.ca. The resort is beautiful - the grounds are kept in immaculate condition. The customer service was great. We so enjoy the wide variety of fruit and vegetables that were offered for each meal as well as 2 or 3 meat dishes. Food was plentiful but it grieved us at the waste, but the resort has no control over that. The only thing was we wished that there would be a designated area for smoking. It was d [... read more]
Riu Palace Peninsula: Amazing 5-star resort... best resort in my life so far
Building is new and up-to-date, superior friendly and efficient services from the front desk, servers in restaurants, housekeeping, entertainers, etc. etc. You can't find any other place at this price. Food in the international buffet restaurant is the best I ever had, especially sea food. Also the grill seafood/steak house restaurant provides top grade of Angus/New York steaks and lobster. Don't miss it..... Room is clean and the ocean view is gorgeous. I am more than happy to stay here again f [... read more]
Riu Palace Peninsula: Nice all inclusive resort
There is improvement needed for room condition. For example some light bulbs are not working. Some AC outlets are loose and out of order. There's stain marks on bed sheet and towels. Food is good all around except the 24 hours Sport Bar, should have more choices. Services are excellent throughout with smiles. The only drawback is at Krystal with the feeling of being pushed to finish the meal ASAP ,may be due to the size of this restaurant. Other aspects of this resort are quite good. One [... read more]
Riu Republica: Amazing resort
I enjoyed this resort. There was a lot to do and something for everyone. The entertainment staff was great but I feel like the shows and night entertainment needs a boost. Beach is stunning and rooms and resort were always clean.
Riu Palace Antillas: Wouldn't say this resort is for a Honeymoon!
First off Aruba is a beautiful island with great people. I won't rate Riu Palace Antilles a 5 Star more like a 3.5 or 4. The room smelled like mould and other people we spoke too had the same experience. It hits you in the face as soon as you open the door. It's an old building that they renovated the main floor but just changed flooring and slapped a paint job in the rooms three years ago. We were there for our Honeymoon (Sept 2017) and didn't even get a champagne bottle with our Oceanview [... read more]
Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Fantastic Riu Palace Cabo
Stayed Oct 5-12, 2017. Surprised my husband for his 50th. Our 19 years old son came as well. I was nervous after tropical storm Lidia...But it was all GREAT! The hotel is beautiful. From the welcome drink to our checkout we were all lovin the Palace. Staff are wonderful. Food and drink were plentiful and delicious. We will be back!
Riu Santa Fe: Great view!
It wasn't very busy when we went which was nice. Food was average but the steak house was amazing. The view of the arch from the pools was gorgeous. Unfortunately we weren't able to go in the ocean while we were there, but the pools made up for it. Also a very short cab ride into town for the day or excursions.
Riu Santa Fe: Great stay!
Views from the pool can't be beat, forbidden from swimming in the ocean due to strong undertow, grounds were well maintained (couldn't even tell Tropical Storm Lidia went through a month prior), hotel was clean and rooms were clean but hallway smelled like vomit all week, food in general was good but I got sick after eating at the Asian a la carte.
Riu Palace Antillas: Amazing Experience at RIU Antillas
The facilities and staff at RIU Antillas was excellent, I had amazingly good time at the resort. Special thanks to Jessica from entertainment team for making our stay enjoyable. I would definitely like to go back in future.
