Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Wonderful

The food was great! I love all the restaurants! Room was big and spacious! My daughter had a wonderful time in the swimming pool nonstop and the water park. Overall, I had a awesome time at Grand Bahia! Everybody was wonderful!

Despite the fact the resort was beautiful. Our guests and us continually ran into problems with service from the very time we arrived. Disorganized! We paid for a certain package and didn’t receive it. It took 2-3days for problems to be solved and some weren’t solved. We found The Air Transat Rep not very helpful and would talk over us. She was organized and approachable. All in all I would love to ask for my money back for the vacation part. Didn’t get the bang for my buck.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Amazing resort!

Perfect location, right on the beach. Easy access to adjoining resorts. Very kids friendly. Play area for every age group of kids. Amazing staff, very welcoming. Room was neat and clean. Food is great!

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Fantastic Resort!

This resort really does have it all. Although you will definitely have to walk a lot, it is worth it as this resort is well equipped for your every need. The pool is clean and of course has a pool bar. The beach area is beautiful. Not a lot of people hassling you and lots of chairs available. Soooo much good quality food. If you say you can't find something, you must be impossible to please. There are four specialty restaurants. My favorite was the French; the Chateaubriand was to die for!! The  [... read more]buffet was great as well though, with so much to choose from. The shows are ok, not really my thing, but there are so many excursions to try out near here. The rooms are very big with four poster beds, the bathrooms have a shower and a whirlpool tub and there is a large balcony. The service here is fantastic. The place is so clean I didn't even see an abandoned cup and the servers are all too happy to cater to your every need. Beautiful place, beautiful weather, beautiful people. I will be back. One love.

Bahia Principe Explore Legend: Amazing resort for young families

Clean grounds and such friendly staff. Always interacting with the kids and trying to get them engaged. My kids loved the shows and there was always different activities for them. Food was decent. There was something for everyone. Dominican resto was our favorite.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Great family resort

We went for a family vacation with our 2 year old son. We found the hotel clean there are lots of activities as well for everyone. We recommend paying a little extra to get the golden club. Worth the perks like room service included whenever we wanted. The beach is shallow and there were lots of fishes. The kids pool was fantastic and Our room was quiet so we were able to sleep early for our son. I would go back and food was good too not fantastic but you eat well. Bahia Principe Explore Legend: Amazing kid friendly resort

This hotel was made for families with kids. The facilities, the food, the entertainment, the staff was tailored for family with kids. It was clean, there are clean bathrooms everywhere easily accessible, there are shows for kids every night, staff walking around at all time asking if we are ok or need anything, and they are all amazing with kids!

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Not So Amazing Resort

The grounds were beautiful and the food was delicious but unfortunately that's where the beauty ended. The hotel was dated and dirty, the rugs in the hall ways were filthy. The air conditioner in our room was broken, they moved us 1 o'clock in the morning. The staff on the front desk were the farthest thing from friendly I've ever seen. It was like we were bothering them every time we went there for anything. This was our first trip there and it will be our last. Well organized resort , food items are great, rooms are clean. Swimming pools are clean, all staffs are very cooperative.evening music was excellentl. Food items at the beach were good and service by staff to all tourists were good.

although a clean looking resort, it is dated, food was average, service was fair to good compared to other sites on the same property such as akumal and sian kaan. the beach was nice but unfortunately at this time of year covered with seaweed both in the water and on the sand. overall the trip was a success with great weather. Great hotel.. great service..thank you for a wonderful week away .. the location was perfect and the view from our room was beautiful. I would recommend this hotel. The staff really goes out of the way to provide you with great service.

Cayo Levantado Resort: Romantic getaway!

We just spent one week in Samana -Cayo Levantado, which is beautiful island resort situated in a very romantic setting, so it is perfect for honeymoons, anniversaries etc. Views are absolutely gorgeous.Greenery is beautiful, food is excellent, staff is amazing. They treated us like a royalty. Because island is hilly, they have elevator that takes you down to the beach level. It has two private beaches, one of them being quite windy, so nobody was swimming there. The other beach was calm and w [... read more]e enjoyed swimming in a clear water with no sea weed, which was not the case in Punta Cana. They have lot of natural trees and also palapas on the beach. Pools are beautiful as well, just we are beach people so we stayed at the beach. Island has public beach as well that is just steps away. You need to sign out when you are leaving hotel and they also give you towels, but drinks and chairs at the public beach - you need to pay for. That beach is quite big and locals have access only during the day. We were there off season so hotel was not full and there were no lineups anywhere, no need to get up early and reserve chair at the beach. What we did not like is that it was difficult to get reservations for a la carte restaurants since they did not keep them all open,so we ended up eating at the buffet most of the days. Entert. was OK, very low key, they would have a singer, each evening different one and "animacion" people would come up and ask to dance with us.They apparently had disco on the public beach after enter. in main hotel was finished, but we never went. I would recommend this resort if you want to rest, but if you want "party - party", this is not the place. We were also missing our beach walk, that we had in Punta Cana, where you have hotels, one after the other, and you walk for an hour, here we did not have that.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great vacation

Wonderful place to go on vacation with family and friend. Rooms are clean and spacious. Food delicious and great variety. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help. The beach had a lot of seaweed but thanks to the hotel crew cleaning the algae constantly, crew we can enjoyed. On the down side, the Privilege Club in a very gentle way they try to attract you their club but surprisingly you can't sign without your partner presence and consent. Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Very disappointing

I arrived at Bahia Principe Punta Cana on Sept.1 in the evening. I could not get the room safe to work. I called the front desk and they sent a person to fix it. I put $200.00 US and $80.00 Cdn. along with a credit card and a few other items. I went to get some money from the safe onMonday. I WAS ROBBED from a locked safe and room.

2nd time to this resort in less than a year ... Service was great. Always could find something to eat in the buffet. A la carte are excellent. If you can speak and understand Spanish it is to your advantage as some of the staff don't speak French or English.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Would return for sure!

The hotel was well kept and clean. The buffet food was always good and the restaurants were all amazing. We enjoyed every part of this resort. There was no shortage of evening entertainment going right till midnight when the disco opened. We flew with Air Canada and got the premier package which we did not know till we arrived. Great service from our rep who made sure we knew who he was the minute we arrived and checked in with us every day when he saw us. We will definitely go with Air Canada v [... read more]acations again and we will definitely stay in the Coba resort in the future.

Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Decent place for vacation

This resort very positively distinguishes from other resorts of Bahia family. Though it is not categorized as Luxury it provides all the same amenities to the guests (besides alcohol in the rooms) and you always feel yourself welcome in this resort. Transfer from and to airport was well arranged, warm reception and comfortable rooms, great beach and clear water, delicious food, tasty cocktails in the bar. What else is needed for relaxing vacation?

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Excellent resort!!!

We rested from September 1 to September 8, 12018. In this place we are the third time. I like this resort very much. The work of the resort so that every guest feels comfortable. Excellent service, good food, very clean rooms, good beach. Good drinks. Everything for guests. Special thanks to the hotel supervisor, unfortunately I did not remember his name.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: wonderful resort

hotel was amazing, our only complain is that there were way too many screaming kids at the restaurants and the pools.There should a separate area for parents with little kids. We are older people and like to be with people( and kids, I was a kinder garden teacher!!!!) but not with so many misbehaving, spoiled brats whose parents don't care about other guests.We would love to come back, it was our third time at this resort.
