Riu Santa Fe: Wonderful resort

Because of the storm Lydia I have the inspiration for only 2 days of my weeklong vacation. It was all very nice until the second day of the vacation when the storm started. The food was very delicious and in great abundance. The staff who cared for us were very friendly and entertained us all the time. My only point is that when it rains, water drips into the rooms.

Riu Vallarta: super fun in Vallarta

just returned from Riu Vallarta. we went as 3 generation family -me ,my 70 years old mother and my 2 children, both in their 20 and we had a fantastic time from beginning up to the very end. The workers go out of their way to make sure everyone has a enjoyable time. Beach clean daily ,pools few times a day. Bartenders greet you with smile tip or no tip. Riu Flamingos: Great vacation spot for families!

I was quite nervous heading here after reading some of the reviews, but was pleasantly surprised! Overall the resort is well kept and clean. The grounds are kept in incredible shape. The rooms could use a little updating. I was definitely not thrilled by the open concept bathroom; neither was my 14 yr old son I might add! A door would have been a wonderful addition. The rooms were [... read more] kept very clean, I wish I had caught our maids name, as she was wonderful! First time we haven't felt like we must lock everything in the safe. I left jewelry/electronics out without an issue. The food was definitely a high point for us. My kids and I have celiac disease, which requires us to eat a gluten free diet. My partner has many other food sensitivities. Chef Jose and Antonio made sure we always had many many options, and I can't express enough thanks! The waitstaff was always very friendly at dinner. Danny took great care of us, as well as a couple other servers. Unfortunately they were not so friendly at breakfast, often leaving us to find our own coffee, and other drinks, condiments, etc. The pools and beach were kept pretty clean. Unfortunately the beach was not what we were expecting, but I think we've become beach snobs along our travels. The water is not clear, sand is not soft. I was surprised by the hotel not accepting American money. Not that I blame them with the current relations with the US, but it was a surprise. If you're traveling from Canada, you do not need to exchange for American as everyone used to! They will exchange Canadian. We did the polaris razor excursion. It was a lot of fun, but they gouge tourists, and don't supply transportation to the excursion. Apparently something to do with a taxi union. Had I not already told the kids we'd be doing this excursion, I would have waited a until we went to a another destination. I wouldn't recommend doing excursions here, although fun, not worth the money or stress of cabbing. There were a lot of locals at this resort, something I've never experienced before. Definitely made things a little louder, and not as English friendly- which I know, I'm in a Spanish speaking country, I should expect there to be a language barrier, it's just never been to this extreme throughout our many travels.

Riu Playa Blanca: Riu Playa Blanca Panama

Very nice, clean well run hotel, the hotel staff are very friendly and accommodating and efficient. The food is good, the beach is nice, but wavy. Great location, only 10 minutes from the airport, no airplane noise is heard at the resort.

Riu Palace Macao: Great resort

Rooms were extremely clean. Great service by all staff! Plenty of beach chairs. Food was ok same food at the buffet. Shows were good at both indoor and outdoor theatres. Rui staff were energetic and created a fun atmosphere

Riu Republica: Nice Resort

Great choice of food, nice beach, front desk was amazing. Only I would like to be improved the entertainment team. Rooms were spacious and clean. This resort is very similar to RIU Playa Blanca in Panama

Riu Palace Macao: Fabulous Resort

Riu Palace Macao has a very high standard when it comes to customers service and care. The resort staffs always work hard to offer vacationers unforgettable memories from grounds, rooms, swimming pool, pool's activities, delicacies to entertainment. This is my first visit at Riu Palace Macao (August 13 - August 20, 2017), and I really impressed with the resort's staffs behavior and service. However, I will give Riu Palace Macao a 5-star resort overall.

Riu Guanacaste: Best Trip Ever

This resort was phenomenal! The excursions available were so fun. The pool and beach were gorgeous. The drinks/food were delicious. The location of the resort was perfect. We fell in love with Costa Rica and the Riu, in fact we are going back in December.

Riu Negril: Beautiful Resort

This is a clean resort and maintained well. The facilities and dining area are located conveniently and easily accessible. The alacarte restaurant services could be further improved by increasing its capacity to reduce wait times.

Riu Republica: It was great

the hotel is new and fairly clean although some things dont work so well, including the key to open the door... everybody was going back to reception when we arrived because it did not work - and we were a large group of over 30 people! the beach is amazing and so is the food. it's more of a party place than we thought and we were woken up every single night with people screaming in corridors and breaking glass. they do a good job of cleaning things up and keeping it as clean as possible, but t [... read more]hat was not a nice experience. the gym was nice but small and always packed - considering the type of people who attend "party" hotels, it would have been nice if it would have been a bit bigger. the 4 pools were amazing and needed and ranged from a party pool to a quieter pool with local music - which is where we hanged out when not at the beach. no problems with towels, we often changed them more than once a day. i know the hotel cant do anything about it, but the weather was also amazing! it was a great stay but we probably will not be back - too big and noisy for us

Riu Tequila: Good value for your dollar

Overall the rooms were clean and the grounds were well kept. The food was very good. Only bad thing we weren't close to the beach. 5-7 minute walk. Over all it was a good place for a vacation. Staff was very kind and nice! Heard they're renovating and would love to see it when it's finished in 6 months.

Riu Reggae: Not a 5 star

This was our first visit to Riu Reggae, but 4th stay at a Riu resort. It was a small quaint resort. Not much to do on the resort itself. However, 5min walk to the Montego Bay resort, which was lively. The jerk chicken hut by the beach had the best food!! The buffet lounge had a roach crawling on the wall. Our first excursion, the bus didn't arrive to take us there...so we booked and went the next day. We had another excursion booked, which we cancelled because we didn't want to waste our day wai [... read more]ting for the bus to show up again. Not much friendly conversation with bartenders, unless you were tipping. Great resort if you just want time alone with your partner.

Palace St. Martin: Fantastic Resort!

Grounds were beautiful. Food was fantastic and service was great! We had no issues reserving a car to help us tour surrounding beaches and shopping areas. The only negative aspect about the hotel is the nightly entertainment.

Riu Republica: First time all inclusive and had the time of my life!

The Riu Republica was a beautiful resort with great food, amazing entertainment , the rooms where modern and clean. I loved the glass wall in the shower going into The bedroom. I went on this trip by myself and loved every minute. The spa was so relaxing with the steam room and cold and hot plunge pools. I loved the beach and you could walk for miles. Can't wait to go back. Ask for Armstrong at the bar and Isael in the buffet restaurant. Mariel in the spa gave me the best stress cure massage I' [... read more]ve ever had. I'll be going back soon!'

Riu Bambu: Awesome resort

Hotel was very clean and the employees are amazing. Food was good. Pool beach amazing. Water park fantastic. We had a wonderful time. Wish we could go back soon. Night life was great. So much to do with the family.

Riu Republica: Riu Republica

Beautiful beach, nice pools, nice rooms,terrible food!!!! They say this is a 5 star resort YES all but the "food", the restaurants are all buffet except for one but that didn't matter cause the food there was probably the worst, sushi forget it. What made our day was the beach, gorgeous you cant go wrong, water amazing and most of all relaxing cause its a adults only resort. One more thing Sunquest needs to stop upselling packages on the plane, then the next days meeting with their rep and then continuously on the resort, come on Im there to relax if I want an excursion Ill ask for it. If you want drinks you'll have to stay by the pool, the service at the beach is non existent. There are no bars on the beach although we were told that one would be built in the future.

Riu Reggae: Loved it!

Every aspect of the resort was excellent...the new (8 month old) structure as well as the grounds, pools and beech were beautiful and exceptionally clean. As it was the off season (July), we were given an upgraded room upon our arrival and the staff was very excited to announce this to us. The room had a garden and partial ocean view. The rooms are not huge but they are in perfect condition, immaculate and well appointed, with everything one needs...a king bed, balcony, sitting area by bed with  [... read more]table and 2 chairs, 4 bottles of liquor, beer, water, and pop replenished every 2 days. All staff members, at every level, were friendly and efficient. We ate at the 4 A La Carte restaurants every night, Italian, Steak House, Classic Cuisine, Asian and they all offered a good selection of entrees and the food was quite authentic and delicious. Not all the restaurants were open every night and even still there wasn't much of a wait, maybe 20 minutes maximum the one night at the fancier one (Classic/French cuisine). The breakfast buffet had an amazing selection. The open air dining for the buffet restaurant, over looking the pools and the ocean, was amazing, as was the jerk chicken hut open for lunch daily. The entertainment at night and by the pool were typical of tropical resorts but in Jamaica they host a Sunday night beech party which is unique ad fun. The music and vibe at the pool bars were upbeat. All in all, it was great and we would go again.

Riu Flamingos: Awesome Resort ... above my expectation!

Greeted warmly by smiling staff, the Riu Jalisco Resort was a memorable, entertaining & relaxing one week holiday. My first all inclusive vacation was an excellent choice. The grounds, pools, food & service were exceptional!

Riu Republica: great resort

we really enjoyed the location on the beach the waves were si much fun,clean and intertaining resort,food was hood with lots of selection,the only bummer was service in the morning was really slow and very attentive,but on all I would definitely go back

Riu Caribe Cancun: Great vacation!

Amazing food, nice resort, room had everything we needed and was kept clean daily. Staff was friendly and helpful. Daytime entertainment wasn't bad. The night time entertainment needs work. Nothing to do after 11pm on the resort. Would be nice if the resort had a mini club at night for people to be able to continue having fun.
