Melia Cayo Coco: Awesome Place
The hotel itself was very nice , easy access to all the grounds and the food and beaches were amazing. A lot of repeat business at this place from talking to people felt very safe the whole time wonderful people working at this resort they really treat guests very well and are so friendly . Will be going back again for sure. Nothing bad to say about this place it was everything we were looking for .
Paradisus Rio De Oro: Surpassed Expectations
We have been to Cuba many times. First time in Holguin. Our new favorite. The Beach was amazing. Great swimming/sandy & snorkelling very close by. Only a few resorts on the strip so it was not crowded. Lots of shade trees by the beach & by the pool. Never had to get out early to be sure we had beach chairs as they had plenty. Food was very good with lots of variety. Rooms spacious & very clean. Staff very friendly. Lots of activities close by if you desired to get off the resort. Fou [... read more]
Paradisus Princesa Del Mar: Excellent place as usual
Our visit to our second home could not be any better. As usual it was an excellent visit to our home away from home. Best part was being updated to a suite which was absolutely wonderful. It was like an apartment which we could have lived in. We absolutely can't wait foe our next trip back k to our family away from home. Each and everyone greets us with a smile and hugs wonderful. Let the year go by fast so we can return home.
Melia Las Dunas: 4th time and still amazing!!
This was our fourth time at Melia Las Dunas and the staff was still as amazing as ever. The staff remembered us and the service was amazing! The hotel and beach were damaged by the hirricane but you can not tell. Food was average and repetitive and there were no fries all week. All in all the service and the beach made up for the food. We do not go to Cuba for the food. We go for the people and the beach. We will be back!!
Melia Las Antillas: Amazing staff and resort
This hotel is an older resort with lots of charm. We stayed in a bungalow with a king bed and large sitting area. Bed was comfy, food was good, staff are helpful friendly and welcoming! Beach is heaven on earth!!!
Melia Las Dunas: So much to do!
Just returned from a great week at Melia Las Dunas in Santa Maria Cuba! It is a huge resort with so much to do. Beach is gorgeous, staff are wonderful, loved the live music after dinner, and the many bars and restaurants. Lots of activities for kids and adults, definitely something for everyone!
Hotel Camino del Mar: Great resort, perfect weather 😀
Everything was to our satisfaction. Considering the latest hurricane great efforts was done to restore the premises and the grounds. One concern I had and would suggest to review the check-out policy for those guests who leave the grounds after 6:00pm
Paradisus Varadero: Lovely Resort
This is our second time to this Resort. Check-in was very quick our room was very clean and very nice. The maid was awesome. The buffet is very repetitive, so it's the same every day. The staff are amazing. The grounds were very clean. The ala carte restaurants were okay the best was the Mexican. The bar staff were great and the drinks were quite good. However the beach wasn't the greatest I think because of the hurricane there were lots of rocks that were brought ashore otherwise it's a lovely [... read more]
Melia Cayo Coco: Exceeded Expectations!
From the moment we arrived at Melia Caya Coco, we were impressed. Welcomed warmly, even though past midnight, and for the duration of the trip, service was remarkable. Staff is very helpful and friendly and willing to please. We had a few minor issues which were resolved very quickly and followed up by Yunismy, our most wonderful Customer Service resort staff. The rooms were very clean and some have newly renovated bathrooms---everything was lovely despite the damage done by the hurricane [... read more]
Melia Jardines del Rey: Amazing Stay at a Spectacular Resort
When looking for a location to vacation I read the reviews and look at the pictures provided on the site. I can assure you the pictures posted for this site are accurate. This resort is exactly how it looks online. I can't say enough good things about this resort; the staff are eager to please and make sure that you are taken care of. They make you feel very welcome and are very friendly. This is a rather large resort, but they do have ground transportation available constantly throughout the [... read more]

Hotel Camino del Mar: We KNOW Cuba and this was a 4+ for so many reasons!
Grounds were lovely, they did an excellent job but still very sad to see restaurant ruins at entrance Standard room was just that, basic but clean. Staff are overall friendly, courteous and helpful. Beach and pool was cold (but that"-s when we went March 2-9th). Got in each one once along with most other visitors at that time. Loved walking beach, water walkway each day. Staff and vacationers were very friendly. food is typical "Cuban food" though I must say the baked goods were nothing like th [... read more]
Melia Jardines del Rey: Restful and relaxing
What did we like??? the short ride to the resort, the quietness of the location being the end of the line of resorts with rolling hills and mile long beach to our right, the hospitality and friendliness of all who worked there, the beautiful architecture of the main buildings, the view from our oceanfront room, the many lounge chairs and shade huts, the comfort and cleanliness of our room, and even the 2 visiting frogs on our ground floor patio, as well as the opportunity to serve those who were [... read more]
Melia Buenavista: A quiet hotel with a great service
We enjoyed this hotel with great service. The room was a good size with a sunset view of the ocean. The beaches were lovely. The pizza at the poolside was excellent. It’s on the quiet side as it’s not a huge hotel. A few cons: they ran out of towels on one day and our AC was not the greatest.
Melia Marina Varadero: 3.5 to 4 star
Nice time. Good entertainment, decent food, and rooms were nicer than expected. Had only a couple problems as my we had 2 rooms and the keys had to be exchanged every day as they would stop working. The worst part is that my legs were eaten alive!
Melia Jardines del Rey: Very good
Nice swimming pools, clean rooms, decent food, entertainment also fairly good. The hotel lobby was too loud, and the internet that was available only in the lobby wasn’t very useful for communication with my family in Canada as it was so noisy that it was almost impossible to talk over the phone (skype, massanger, viber)
Paradisus Varadero: Amazing resort!
We upgraded to the Family concierge section which included access to all the restaurants and Butler service. We had the most amazing Butler Irving who went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great experience in Cuba. His knowledge, experience and willingness to provide superior customer service made all the difference. Our room was clean and well appointed. The grounds were well kept and the beach was beautiful. The resort is quite spread out and could improve the transportation within [... read more]

Memories Cayo Largo: HAD A WONDERFUL TIME...GOING BACK FOR SURE!!!
Cayo Largo is a beautiful and we love going there. We have been to other islands in the Caribbean, an for the price you can't beat it. the beaches are beautiful, its so peaceful and relaxing. Sol Cayo Largo Resort, we feel is the best resort out of the 8 or 9 on the island. It has the best grounds, the biggest pool with swim up bar and the largest and very clean rooms. The food was awesome and with a great selection. There wasn't anything to complain about. We LOVE the people of Cuba espec [... read more]
