Hedonism II: Adult playground.

Rooms may be a little dated but honestly it doesn't matter. You don't go to Hedo to stay in your room. If that matters to you, go to Sandals next door. Food is awesome and entertainment can't be beat. The staff are the best. They are all friendly and go the extra mile. We have been there 5 times and will be back again before the end of the year. Beaches are nice and a bar is never far away. Leave your inhibitions are the gate and have the time of your life!

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Awesome Vacation - May 5-12, 2017

Grand Bahia Principe Runaway Bay was amazing from the check-in, to our room everything went smoothly. The people are so friendly. The resort is never ending! It's huge. The restaurant buffets had a large selection of food themed everyday. Even for picky eaters such as our son, he was able to find a large selection of what he liked. I have no complaints. I highly recommend this resort to everyone. We plan on coming back. De Jesus Family

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Excellent resort for people with kids

The resort is great! It is indeed 5+ stars resort, but there is no access to a deep water for swimming. Lack of access to open sea can be compensated by very good pools, excellent food and friendly staff. I can advise this resort for people with kids and senior couples.

Dreams Rose Hall: Great Getaway

The staff are great and really gave a lasting impression. Lots of beach space to accommodate those who are looking for some R&R. Food is delicious and lots of diversity! Would recommend to anyone looking for an above average vacation.

Secrets Wild Orchid: Amazing view and staff

From the moment we got off the bus we were treated like royalty. Matthew was there to greet us. Immediately we felt at home. And that's how they greet you. "Welcome home". We stayed in room 1320 from May 16 - May 26 and we didn't want to leave! The food at every restaurant was good to excellent. Room service food was not very good. That was our only real complaint. But every single person was over the top friendly. Anything you wanted, if they could provide it they would. I don't know if that's just a show for us or if they truly are that happy. But they sure had us fooled if they weren't. Singing dancing and laughing. Absolutely unbelievable experience all around. And the majority of that was because of the staff!! They should really be recognized for their customer service. Beyond anything I've experienced. My advice would be to shop outside of the resort for souvenirs. Too expensive!! I would recommend this resort to anyone.

Dreams Rose Hall: Fantastic service & overall experience!

My family and I had a great stay at Hilton Rose Hall. The service was exceptional and the food was great. We loved the waterslides and lazy river and the beach was very clean. We will be back some day soon!

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Clean, Relaxing, Lots of activities

The grounds and the rooms were very clean, floors were mopped daily. The pool area was also very clean. The restaurants rarely opened on time though, the staff took their time with their tasks but keep in mind everyone is on Caribbean Time! Check in was a long wait and there were only two people in front of me! Calling the front desk from the room phone, it rang exactly 23 times and was never answered so I hung up!! Again, Caribbean Time....the food was just okay, nothing to write home about but [... read more] there was plenty of it - the hotdogs were awful but most everything else is fine. Mostly the staff were polite and well organized.

Riu Ocho Rios: Great Resort

The room was clean and tidy. The grounds were beautiful. The public areas, beach, pools etc. were wonderful. The staff were friendly and professional. The food was absolutely amazing! - I never ate so much in my life - just couldn't stop. I gained weight but it was worth it.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Beautiful and amazing resort!

this is my second time visiting Jamaica and staying at this hotel was amazing! All the staff for the dining were so friendly and welcoming. The entertainment team was amazing and always kept us entertained and having a good time. The food was amazing and the rooms were beautiful. The cleaning staff always did an amazing job. I would recommend this hotel to everyone !

Couples Negril: It was absolutely perfect!

Beautiful !Staff were great! Meals perfect. Loved everything there. Would definitely go back again. Thank you for helping us making a perfect vacation happen. We enjoyed having the choice of four different restaurants each evening to choose from. Buffet was also great.At the buffet restaurant in the evening there was a menu also,which was excellent. Service was beyond! Staff were so always there to offer a helping hand. Mini Bar was always full at your choice. We loved it.

We were every pleased with this resort, the staff were personable and the rooms clean. I would like to mention that if possible, after insuring that the ministry of the environment has no objection that the sea grass on all the beach area be removed up to the swimming buoys. I noticed that the guests that enjoy the Carrabin sea over the pools offered, had a little sea grass free area to swim in. Beaches Negril Resort and Spa: Paradise vacation

We loved it here! The kids enjoyed seeing the Sesame Street characters every day as well as swimming at the beach, having fun at the water park and playing at the Xbox lounge. What can we say, but we were spoiled! The grounds are beautiful and the staff are friendly.

Dreams Rose Hall: Something for Everyone

Our family visited the resort for a 1 week stay. There were 3 adults and one toddler age 2. The property is beautifully landscaped and the common areas were always clean. I must have went around the lazy river about 5 times per day. My son really enjoyed the small waterslide. The food buffet was good, with a large selection. Each day had a theme. We especially loved the Jamaica theme which included jerk pork, chicken, shrimp and snapper. I would suggest a better menu at the a la carte restaurant [... read more]s. The food was bland and the dessert entee and side dishes seemed scanty. The wifi had great reception around the property. ( I read bad reviews on trip advisor) but I was snap chatting, facebooking and instagraming without a hitch. The only downside is you have to login every 24 hour. The room was always clean when we got back. Overall we collectively give the resort a 8 out of 10, 10 being very good.

Went april 15-22 2017. Excellent resort!! Not too far from the airport, big enough to take long walks around the resort and on the beach(es) (3 different beaches on resort - some areas had many rocks (on sand and in the water), exceptionally clean (grounds, rooms, restaurants). Always enough beach chairs. Service at check-in is a bit confusing but didn't take too long to sort out. Otherwise, service from maids, bartenders, resort boutiques, servers, etc., is amazing, very friendly, polite, even [... read more] the beach vendors didn't bother us once we said we weren't interested (to compare, we have been to cuba, dominican republic, mayan riviera, turks and caicos, etc.). Big pool, amazing water playground for kids (will definitely go back with our daughter in a few years). Good food (especially the occasional pool and beach side Jamaican jerk chicken and various side dishes). A la Carte Steak house is the best. The Buffet was a bit repetitive but enough variety for the week (except for breakfast), but everything was fresh, tasty without being to spicy (no stomach issues for my husband and he usually has some on every single one of our trips!) and plenty for everyone. Not too many organized activities (always the same ones at pretty much the same times - yoga and pilates at 7 am on a vacation was a bit too early for me and not offered at any other time).

This hotel is beautiful, we enjoyed our stay. Food was good, people were friendly. Our room needs improvement, such as: bathtub did not work - did not fill. (was looking forward to a spa bubble bath). Toilet ran all night - two of the four lights did not work - Television remote had batteries but could not change channels, had to do it manually, and it would come on in the middle of the night so we had to have the remote handy to turn it off!.(finally just unplugged it!). We did not have a  [... read more]complimentary umbrella - towel cards - blanket in our room as stated in the in room message from the maid. It took three days after calling the front desk to get the umbrella, we had to go get the towel cards from the pool and I had to borrow my sisters blanket. The day before checkout I asked how much for the long distance call I made to Canada and was told it would be $3.00us, at checkout the next day it was increased to $6.00us? Just a parting note to people who have mobility problems, ie using walkers, wheelchairs, canes etc. It is a very large complex and getting to around it can be difficult and frustrating. The hotel has stretch golf carts which must be requested and unfortunately do not always show up. The site maps are confusing and don't reflect the current situation, wheelchair ramps are not marked, location for beach towels are not all marked. Last words.....If you like long walks to get to anywhere at this resort, then this one is for you. Thank you....18123

Royalton Blue Waters: Royalton Blue Waters Review

Our multi-generational family group had an absolutely wonderful time at the Royalton Blue Waters. The hotel is beautifully decorated with elegant common areas and well appointed rooms. The beach and pool areas were also great and were well kept. Staff were very friendly with good service at bars and restaurants. Restaurants offered a great variety of options. No real waits for anything. The social convenors were lively and engaging however many activities listed on the in house TV itinerary  [... read more]did not occur. Also activities at the Royalton White Sands next door (which we had access to) were displayed separately on their outdoor board - It would have been helpful to have the activities from both resorts listed on the tv and perhaps on a single piece of paper that you could throw in your beach bag rather than trying to remember what was on your tv screen that morning or having to walk over to physically check out the board at the resort next door. Our only real issue of concern was that the resort failed to accommodate our request, made almost six months in advance, for connecting rooms (we had requested 2 sets but didn't get any). Three of our five rooms were close together, with two next door to each other. Apparently we were told there is a difference between adjoining rooms and connecting rooms but our request was made through our travel agent who I am sure would have used the correct terminology. These three rooms actually were all connecting rooms - just not to each other. Unfortunately we were told there was nothing that could be done as the hotel was fully booked. In the end the other two rooms were scattered at opposite ends on a different floor which was disappointing given the amount of notice that we had provided. Also one of our party ended up up with a King room, rather than the two queens that were requested. They did offer to move us to another room part way through the trip but it was on yet another floor further still from our group so we declined. The Sunwing rep (Daquiri) and the Royalton group rep (Mercedes) were both wonderful.

Royalton Blue Waters: Amazing Family Resort

Went Mid May. Loved the arrival welcome! Great vibe throughout the resort. Staff are "like old friends" so friendly, was impressed with the way the entertainment staff would approach you to inform you of activities and getting vacationers involved. The area of the resort is well planned, not too large of a resort, everything was a perfect distance. The grounds, facilities the entire place was very clean and very well kept. Food is delicious and enjoyed by all (adults along with a 9 & 12 year old), so many options. Beach is beautiful. Jerk hut at the beach next-door at the white sands resort is amazing and very popular along with the cafe providing ice cream bar, soft serve machine and pastries! The two resorts together to explore and get from place to place was a nice distance not far at all. It was the perfect family vacation we were looking so forward too!

Samsara Cliff Hotel: Very quiet and relaxing resort!

A great hotel for people that like a very quiet and rustic Jamaican vibe. If you prefer quiet to nightlife this place is for you. The views are stunning, food absolutely fantastic and home cooked. The servers were rather rude and didn't seem to want to be there. Room service was very unreliable and the shower never stayed the same temperature. We are very relaxed people, so we went with the flow. If you are used to a 4 or 5 star resort then this place isn't for you. Grand Palladium Jamaica: Beautiful Large Property - Third Time Back

This was our third trip to this wonderful hotel with beautiful, spacious rooms and many private locations on there large private property. With so many beach areas, as well as amazing pools for all age groups, this resort makes you feel like you are at a different beach every day. We upgraded to the Lady Hamilton Adults Only, Building 32 and had a beautful 1 bedroom suite with two balconies, one open and one covered. Both balconies had amazing oceanviews. This resort is large but major walkways are covered and golf carts are available. We ate at the buffet most days and did enjoy Bubba's Steakhouse one night. Food at some of the buffet stations could have been hotter. Booked with Tripcentral so compared prices easily and booked one of the few weeks that prices dropped for Jamaica. It is worth the extra price for what you get. Previously stayed at the Jewel Paradise Cove, Bahia Principe and the Montego Bay Holiday Inn.

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Beautiful Resort

We loved this resort. It's true that it's very large but found it easy to get around. There are shuttles you can hop on if you don't feel like walking. We stayed in building 17 almost the farthest from the main building which took us about 5 min to walk to. The main pool is huge. There is definitely an issue with the tiles popping off though....they are laying all over the bottom of the shallow parts and can be dangerous if you slip. The Buffets were great and the food was hot. For dinners we went to Bubba steakhouse, the Italian, Asian and Indian. We loved then all! We were really impressed with the decor and ambiance of each of them. The only one we had to wait for was the steakhouse. It was about a 45 min wait but didn't mind as we just relaxed at the bar with a drink until outer table was ready. Overall this is a beautiful resort with good service and amazing food. We will go back for sure.
