Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Great Service!

We had a great week at this resort. The service on the Hideaway side was absolutely amazing from the bartenders to the towel/pool attendants. The meals were great at the restaurants in the Hideaway side but also in the general resort area. We're foodies so delighted in the specialty restaurants and stayed clear of the buffet. We will be going back to this resort again!

Platinum Yucatan Princess: Exceptional Service

While the resort grounds and rooms are beautiful, what really stood out to me was the service. Even at the buffet, where you're less likely to encounter the same service you would at an a la carte, the staff was very attentive and lovely.

Grand Riviera Princess: Great for families

The resort was extremely well maintained and the kids loved having bunk beds. They especially loved how the room cleaning staff arranged their toys in funny vignettes every day. There was a great kids area, but our kids even loved hanging out at the main pool where the water was a little deeper. The resort was larger but everything was within a good walking distance. The pools were never over crowded although the beach can be quite busy.

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: A positive holiday!

Family of 4. With a 2.5 Y/O & 9 month babe. Resort is great for families. 2nd time @ a Royalton Resort and the service/facilities is what sold us. Food options exceeded expectations. Went to Hunter & Taj Restaurant twice because we were so impressed by the flavours/service/presentation of food. Buffet also has many options. They always consider food allergies which is comforting for my family. Easy to navigate around with little ones & stroller. Many pools to choose from. Room service was a good option for us and the kids but it does take up to 45 mins. However, you can schedule a time for delivery all on your tv. Well designed resort. Evening solo musicians were a beautiful start to the amazing evening shows that followed. luxurious grounds. Such a positive trip!

The Sens Riviera: Great spot!!

Beautiful resort, the staff were friendly and always helpful. The food was great. Only downside was no balconies. The beach was amazing, lots of beach chairs and always towels available. Drinks were good.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Great trip but

Great trip to the Blue Bay. Resort was beautiful and the people there are awesome. Food was great and rooms are very clean. The a la carts were all very good. I have only a couple of cons for the resort. Supper buffet line ups were very long and slow moving. My major complaint is the beach is very poor shape. So had to spend my time at the pool.

Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: OMG.. the Charm!

Funny, always said I would never go to the same place twice! This place had me at "lazy river" take it past that there was so many things to see and do! Although the resort was big it never felt like I was lost. Easy to navigate, there were trolleys to pick you up if needed, food was good and lots of selection. The a la carte restaurants for the most part were very good with kudos especially to the Japanese for their wonderful talent show and great food, to the Mediterranean..please have the tun [... read more]a steak...OMG! so delicious. The entertainment was awesome which was wonderful, lots of talent there. All the workers always had a" hola" and a smile. The beach was interesting with the ability to snorkel, see the Mayan ruin and the rock formations were stunning! Not my usual kind of beach however, I was intrigued and loved the charm of it all! Was great just to lay on a hammock suspended between trees and read. Lots of wildlife to see, from the Caoti's, the Sereque, racoons, spider monkeys in the trees, turtles by the theater, dolphin show at no charge, don't forget the iguanas and the fish in the ocean. The beautiful birds if you are watching and the Cats from the "Cat Lounge". I am sure I missed something as so much to see. Lets not forget the room, beautifully appointed and very clean. Loved, loved the rain shower, shower! Jacuzzi tub was great also. Lots of space in the closet and hangers yes hangers! Spent many a nice quiet time just before dinner on our balcony also. The grounds were beautifully kept and the pools are very clean with lots of chairs to go around for everyone!. The drinks were great especially when you doubled up on the rum, vodka and or tequila (to kill ya) aptly named, lol. I hurt myself the second day and ended up on crutches for the rest of the week. Dr. Eric Morales was wonderful with me, patient and help to assuage my fears of having any medical services to be provided in a different country! I was well taken care of and the reception made sure to check up on me the following day and let me know anything I needed they would be sure to be there to help. All in all it was a wonderful fun filled week regardless of my injury and I have and would recommend this resort to friends and family! Ocean Coral and Turquesa: Faded Glory

You can tell this was once a lovely resort. It needs repairs and wasn't up to the standards of cleanliness I have come to expect. The food was very much like the service, hit or miss. A great dish, a great employee, and then three okay and one awful. Those were the ratios. I won't be returning, but I feel it has potential with effective management.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Amazing

Just returned from a wonderful vacation at the Blue Bay Esmeralda. The food was great, rooms were clean, the pool was nice. The resort is large and spread out so there is a lot of walking but we really have no complaints! Would definitely go back to this resort.

Grand Sunset Princess: Great Resort

This was our third time here, and we plan to make a fourth trip in the near future. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking to relax at a high end resort that is clean and has great service

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Amazing Resort

We were first time on on this resort and we were surprised by the warm welcoming stuff at the front desk. Was late evening when we arrived, the concierge set us with the room, immediately we were taken with a golf cart to our vila. We have booked a double room and for our surprise we got an one bedroom apartment. Everything in that unit was perfect from the well stocked fridge, bed, pillows, bathroom, full kitchen, living with sofa, TV, just name it. Pools are clean and some have salted water. Clean beach and well maintained, no problem to get a chair. We like everything about this resort and was very hard to leave, definitely we will come back.

Ocean Coral and Turquesa: Great Vacation

Everything was just perfect. The grounds and landscaping were beautiful. Trees and green everywhere. Beach nice and clean and water warm. It was really a tropical paradise. We enjoyed it very much. Lots to eat. We mostly went to the buffet and it was delicious. The rooms were very nice and the people very pleasant to talk to. It was nice to see the kids on stage too. The youth workers with them were very good. Kids loved them. And that guy in the afternoon leading the exercise and dancing at the pool was terrific and lots of fun, Erick I think his name was. The waiters were excellent. I promised I would remember their names, but they were all good.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Needs repairs

Very nice grounds well kept wasted whole day waiting for someone to come shut of shower. control that fell apart when turned on.it took them hours to realize they couldn't repair the control and moved us to another room. Someone went through our dresser drawers we reported it but think it fell on deaf ears.the beach was the shits. Ocean Riviera Paradise: Just wonderful!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Ocean Riviera Paradise hotel. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left we were totally impressed with the immaculate grounds, the hotel, the staff, the beach, the pools, the food - absolutely everything!!

JOIA Paraiso by Iberostar: Welcome Home Indeed

We all know what it feels like to come home, being pampered, and enjoying favourite dishes and activities; your family going out of their way to ensure your total comfort and enjoyment. Well that is the same feeling that Iberostar Grand Paraiso offers in greetings and delivery. It all starts with the bellman, saying “Welcome Home”, as he takes your luggage from the airport shuttle, and continues throughout your stay. Octavian, one of the main chefs, acted like a big brother to both my wife and I, but especially to my wife with her gluten-free requirements. He created unbelievable, special dishes for her at breakfast, lunch and dinner. He would always find her, wherever we were, and make sure she was taken care of. It seemed like Octavian never slept, as he also conducted a “guacamole” class between lunch and dinner. There were many other “brothers and sisters”, who pampered us throughout our holiday. America, a hostess, always greeted us each morning for breakfast and at lunch with the biggest smile and hug. Rodrigo not only took care of us by the pool but stopped at our cabana, almost daily to enquire if we needed anything. Adriana was incredible by the “tranquility pool” always ensuring we had what we needed. By the way, Adriana makes the best margaritas we have ever had. Mauricio, as our butler not only provided everything we required, but if something was not right, he would fix it very quickly. Cesar was outstanding on both of our visits to Valencia. Tsunami (affectionately known as “Big Wave”) always had time for us each day with her stories, various activities and beautiful smile. This incredible lady can speak 5 languages. You know you are truly home when old friends from previous years (this was our 3rd consecutive year), Mirna and Marcello, stop by to welcome you with a hug, and of course ask if you need anything. It appears that each year the food keeps getting better. We ate at Toni’s and Valencia twice, off the a la carte menu (highly recommended) at the Japanese restaurant, and mixed in the outstanding international themed cuisine buffet dinners. The matriarch to us, of this Iberostar Grand Paraiso family is Laura Favial, the assistant General Manager. Laura last year quickly and expertly dealt with an issue we had. This year she stopped by to see how we were doing, and also personally came out to wish us an enjoyable and safe trip home, but only after she enquired, if everything was to our liking. She appears to be the key link to a well oiled machine. If you are at all interested in coming home, and being welcomed as such, Iberostar Grand Paraiso is your choice. We know that and will be back next year and hopefully for many more.

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Such a beautiful place

We loved this resort, it was very clean and well kept the staff was super nice and was always there to help. The food was amazing. The rooms were clean and well kept, housekeeping was quick and efficient. The one thing we didn't like was that there were not enough pool lounge chairs at the main pool for the amount of people, and sitting behind a hedge not being able to see the pool we didn't like either. Other than that it was fabulous.

Riu Playacar: Great Trip!

The hotel was great, the staff was great and accommodations were clean and comfortable. The buffet restaurant exceeded expectations, ice cream and coffee were amazing. The entertainment staff were friendly, always creating moments of fun for the little kids right up to the adults. I really enjoyed my time and would recommend the property to anyone wanting a relaxing, carefree vacation with or without their little ones. Great job Riu!

Riu Playacar: Awesome resort

Enjoyed staying at riu playacar in Playa del carmen amazing attentive staff food was great resort was clean I would definitely give this place a 5 ⭐it's also central to all the great excursion that this part of .Mexico has to offer

Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: Amazing resort

Great smaller resort that is not party central great for young families and people who want to have fun ,but not a million people beautiful beach and great entertainment during the evenings also very close for day trips.

Selection Riviera Cancun: Excellent Resort!

We stayed at this beautiful resort during the last week of February 2020. Overall it was a wonderful and very pleasant experience. Eating at the Spoon Restaurant was a real treat! The food and variety were great. Staff at the Spoon were very welcoming and very friendly. Special mention for Jose Luis Cahuich - very pleasant, prompt and courteous!
