Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: 10 out of 10. Best Resort!!

By far one of the cleanest resorts out there. It was amazing to so wake up early and so how the staff were organized and efficient to take care of all areas of the resort. The restaurant staff was amazing especially Wirkim, who always went the extra mile. Food was always fantastic with variety and presentation. I only wish I had gotten more names to include on this review. Downside factors were external seasonal such as seaweed rising on shore and mosquitos at night. Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Amazing resort

Bahia Principe Explore Legend: Dream wedding!!

First of all I can’t rave more about Geraldy Ramos!! HE IS THE WEDDING PLANNER EVERY WOMAN DREAMS ABOUT!! He made our day absolutely perfect!! Ricardo from the beach bar on the esmeralda beach is honestly the sweetest man you will ever meet!! Lastly Romana our cleaning lady was amazing!!! Love them alll!! The food was delicious, they clean your time twice a day! Everyone was absolutely perfect!

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Nice resort

Hotel was nice. Under staffed . A bit dirty . Food was excellent at buffet but not worth waiting for restaurants to eat . My Kids loved the pool too . Very far from city and Tulum beach was covered with seewe.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Average

Few waiters were friendly. Lots of seaweeds in the beach when we came. They use plastic cups for alcohol and yet they banned plastic straw. They pressure you to buy privileged club. Found cockroach in the room and leaking from the ceiling. Room smells like toilet bowl. Food is salty. Free coconuts!

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Loved the resort!

Everything about this resort was outstanding! The only complaint for the week would just be regarding the weather, other than that, the resort was amazing. Would absolutely return! I would advise anyone planning on staying to book their A la carte restaurants ahead of time by emailing the hotel. This ensures you will be able to try the restaurants available. I would recommend the Gourmet and Brazilian restaurants on the Akumal resort.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Large resort

Overall it was a very nice resort. Rooms were clean and very spacious and house keeping was friendly. Food was average, I suggest booking la carte restaurants and you can book as many as you want from my understanding. The Italian was not that great in my option. Beach was close but bar on beach was slow and understaffed. Overall I found the bartenders had very bad customer service. Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Exactly what I needed

So clean and the staff are amazing. Plz open the pool later and I’ll come again and again and again!! I miss everything!! The food is amazing. Ate at a new gourmet restaurant every night. The drinks were great. Lobby bar was my favourite!! Overall 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Resort was clean & comfortable, the beach was full of weeds we could not swim on it , food was great and there was varaities but the service in the buffet was not good, it was veryyyyy slow stuff and the big problems that the staff dose not speak English or French

From the welcoming Reception to the scrumptious buffet , this was a vacation destination that left us feeling pampered and relaxed. Every little thing was anticipated and catered for. Bahia Principe Explore Turquesa: Its was okey.

Our room was nice and spacious and clean. Food overall is okey. Most of their dishes were salty. Service in the buffet was bad. It took them 5-10 mins just to serve you a glass of water. Sometimes we had to remind them again. Its a huge resort (grand bahia it self) you can get lost if you dont pay attention. Beach is 10-15 minute walk from turquesa. Beach was very disappointing theres alot of seaweeds in the shore and in the water. We didnt get to swim in the beach alot because of it. Look for IGNACIO in the lobby if you want to do an excursion he's nice and got us some good deals. SAONA ISLAND is a must to see although i was seasick the whole time the place is really beautiful. The resort was too big and not enough staff. The beach and water was not clean. I won't go back there. The beach smelled like gasoline. The staff were so lazy. There was a dead cockroch in our batheroom. No good.

The staff very friendly and accommodating. Very clean, love the beach parties. Some construction happen but it didn’t have any impact on my vacation. I love the variety of food. Lobby bars close to early. Should havevyobhobyobthe disco for drinks after 11:00

The atmosphere was great, the food was super good with many choices. Multiple pools which is great if you want to switch things up! The facility is really big and beautiful! Would totally recommand this resort for any age:)

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Beautiful resort

I’ll try to be brief. Our overall stay 6;13-6;20/2018 was a wonderful experience. Just because a few issues we had, I will still leave a positive review. The one issue was: our room 32607 was in a great location, we had nice cool air conditioning the first night, it stopped cooling the 2nd day and for 3 days/night we had no a/c, it took until Saturday and 3 different reports until one rep. at Premier reception took action and the problem was fixed. No issues after that, should we ever go bac [... read more]k to any resort and the same problem would arise, I would be more aggressive right from the get-go and have them fix the problem. The other thing that really bothered me was the concierge, we were approached the first day and before our room was ready by a concierge, he said the resort wanted to give us a welcome presentation with a $70.00 gift certificate, he was so nice and polite, I accepted and made the appointment to be the 3th day during breakfast. On the invitation card was: time, 1hr for the duration of this welcome presentation. I realized soon this was not a welcome presentation but a timeshare presentation, I was very disappointed and wanted to leave, my wife convinced me to hear him out in order to be respectful, the presentation lasted 2 hrs, so finally just told him respectfully to rap it up, we’re not interested one bit in timeshare, we just came to have fun and not pressured to join in a long lasting commitment. He signed the release form and we were out the door. This will be a huge lesson for the future, I’ll tell them right from the beginning we’re not interested and to leave us in peace. If the resort wants to improve in bringing in tourist, this one thing they should do, completely get rid of all timeshare representatives and promotions. I talked to other people about this and every single one of them, absolutely hate to be approached by these timeshare reps. As far as food, the quality and the service, it was amazing. We were not able to visit all À la cart restaurants but the ones we had the privilege to eat and dine, were absolutely amazing. I would like to mention a few of them: Samuel at Mashua was so professional and polite, the food was the best. Antonio at La Tequila was another young individual who had pleasure in serving and making you feel welcome, the food also amazing. Ana at Cozumel Buffet was a very humble and sweet lady in serving. Overall, our stay was well worth it and I wouldn’t hesitate to go back, I highly recommend Grand Bahía Principe Coba.

Well located, surrounded by hills, clean, large rooms. Very agreable place to relax. Large lounge terrace The pool is clean. Small beach. I recommand ocean front or superior room for a better experience, other rooms might be noisy. Food is ok

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Neat Room and Restaurants, OK Food and Service

The room is very clean and the room staff change bed every day. Room service is excellent. There are many restaurants, space is bright and neat. Food is various but the quality is just okay. Sushi rolls-rice are not well cooked. Brazil cuisine- bbq meat is too dry. There are not too many options for non-alcohol drinks. Only orange and pineapple juice. Can make some fresh watermelon, or mango juice.

Everything about Bahia Cayacoa is so well thought out and executed it’s a pleasure to stay there. Front desk check in chaos was handled with aplomb, with special thanks to Javier. Room was super clean with a beautiful view and all the trimmings, even a mini bar. Comfy bed with lots of pillows as well as ample towels and a great shower. Tons of fruit and veggies and so many choices it’s hard to pick. The dining room staff is superlative from pizza/pasta guy Gustavo to kenia spraying the sanitizer at the door. Everything perfect!!! Recommend all friends-100 %. Will be back next vacation next year. Clean area,nice show,beach party so nice,animation group best, tasty food,clean beach,interesting excursion Haiti park and Levantado island.
