Ocean Allure Costa Mujeres: Ocean Allure

The hotel needs to decide what it wants to be. It went from foam parties to an events coordinator screaming aggressively coming to the privilege pool screaming “wakey wakey” trying to get guests that are relaxing to come over to the main pool. It was so offensive. We paid over $8,000 to be there. We assumed at an adults only resort it would be more cultured. The hotel vibe was like a 3 star party hotel. The beach is not very good either. It’s very narrow, lots of seaweed that they don’t cl [... read more]ean unlike secrets next door which had a tractor out daily cleaning the beach. And the bathrooms on the resort. It’s shocking that it passed code. There are 3 large pools and no kidding, 3 bathrooms with 3 stalls in each. So that’s 9 toilet stalls for a hotel that occupies 600 guests. How is that sanitary? The food was somewhat hit and miss. Most of it was good quality but it was ruined by a horrible fake butter taste on everything. They use soya oil. That’s all I could taste in the food whether it was the mashed potatoes, baked good etc. They make a delicious lobster tail on top it with fake butter. What a waste! We booked a Master Oceanfront privilege suite. The top level. The butlers were useless. They didn’t get to know us at all. It was the basic daily text. Nothing personal about it. Just a blanket text of the hotels daily activities. Our room apparently because of its location took 15 minutes to get hot water. The room was clean and beautiful otherwise. And the worst part…. Is the pushing of timeshare. Disgusting. As soon as you come in they hand you over to someone who pretends they are there to make your experience better. They invite you to breakfast so that they can get you to listen to a 4 hour sales pitch to buy into their ridiculously overpriced timeshare scam. There were 4 Canadian couples that were fed a bunch of alcohol and then convinced to buy into the program. I ended up meeting them and they were so stressed about buying into the program. I informed them there was a 5 day cool off period. All of them then cancelled with clear minds. It was so disgusting I would NEVER recommend this resort. There are way better places to go to in the Cancún area for a much better price and service.

Catalonia Yucatan: Amazing

We had a wonderful stay at this resort. Everything was excellent — the property was very clean, well-maintained, and beautifully organized. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always helpful, which made our experience even more enjoyable. ? The activities were especially great — very fun, well planned, and offered something for everyone. We really loved that part of the trip and it made our stay more exciting. ? GR Solaris Caribe Adults Only: Loved this quaint resort!

Stayed a week at GR Caribe. It was beautiful. The grounds were kept immaculate and all the employees were wonderful and so accomodating. There was plenty of food and as long as you are not a food critic, it was (to us) tasty and well presented. The adult side of the hotel was quiet (just the way we like it) you can always trot over to the family side for more poolside activities. The nightly shows and gym are also on the family side. The rooms were clean and adequate. Fresh towels daily, pop, water and beer stocked in mini fridge, cozy robes. Just wish all rooms had balconies. We had ocean front but no balcony. The window did open though which was nice. The adult side.had a café with coffee, sandwiches, pastries etc. Open from 7am to 3am. No excise to go hungry! All in all, we loved our stay. We wanted relaxing and that is exactly what we got. We would definitely return.buy would oay for the ocean front rooms with the plunge pools. They looked fabulous!

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: The Best

The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Food in all restaurants are top notch. Entertainment staff and all staff very friendly and professional. Always a smile on their faces. The pool is massive and so much fun to hang out all day long.

Grand Decameron Los Cabos: Has Potential

Hotel is definitely NOT a 5star resort. Resort is very very dated. Rooms are small, but sufficient. Each one of the pools requires significant maintenance. Lounge chairs require updating. Food and Bars are not open when advertised, same with the pools. Only the children's pool is open for use first thing in the morning, we needed to wait until 10am for the other side of the main pool. For the most part, if you stick to traditional Mexican food, it was AMAZING! There are lots of food options very close to the resort as well. Location - AMAZING!!! First time visiting the Western side of Mexico, and I will never visit the East again! Super Safe, amazing locals and snow birds in the area providing recommendations that were authentic and not at all a tourist trap!

Grand Oasis Riviera: very nice place

Staying at this resort was nice. Even though 1.30 hr. from airport , we were pleased to observe cleanliness , appreciate the diversity of pools designed and grounds respecting local nature, personnel was accommodating. Restaurants and food well maintained, food not as diverse, sweets do need more improvement ,as well as drinks from bars.

Secrets Tulum Resort and Beach Club: Amazing experience

I stayed at Secrets Tulum for 7 days and 6 nights, and honestly, the experience was nothing short of amazing. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed. They greeted me with a warm smile, a hot towel, and a glass of champagne, which set the tone for the entire stay. The service throughout the resort was exceptional — the staff were incredibly attentive, always checking in to make sure I was okay and asking if I needed anything for my room. The cooks and the team at Coco were especially memorable — they took the time to remember my order, even though I wasn’t there for very long. That level of attention made me feel valued and seen. Room service was also great — always on time and exactly what we needed. We did have one small issue during our stay, but Louis handled it so well. He made sure we felt heard and went out of his way to make it right, which I really appreciated. I went for my birthday, and they truly made it special. My door was decorated, and right at midnight, room service surprised us with a bottle of champagne and cake. It was such a thoughtful touch that made the whole experience unforgettable. If you’re looking for a romantic, relaxing getaway, this is definitely the resort for you. It’s peaceful, intimate, and perfect for couples. If you’re looking for a party vibe, this may not be the spot unless you’re coming with a group and bringing that energy yourself. The club is open until 1 AM, and while it can be quiet, the DJ is great and really plays based on the crowd’s vibe. Overall, I would absolutely return. The service, the atmosphere, and the attention to detail made this a 5-star experience for me.

My husband and I spent a week we had a lovely time, service was fantastic people were hospitable and friendly. Hotel is a little tired but always kept clean, breakfast and lunches were very good, dinners lacked in variety and options. We also had FANTASTIC massages in the spa

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: 2nd time at Royalton Cancun

I had a super relaxing and fun vacation. The staff are all very nice and helpful. Things that could use some attention ceiling in the shower was falling down and the tap handle fell off. There was an old sock in the baths and the glasses in my room were dirty It is next to impossible to get dining reservations at restaurants. Honestly I am not su [... read more]re I would recommend to a friend based on how frustrating it was to book dinner reservations . And you can only book 2 days in advance ? You get either 5:30 or 9 pm It is much better in the adults only side that’s where we stayed last time. We had little ones with us this time and they had lots of fun .

El Dorado Casitas Royale: Our new favorite!

We loved El dorado royale so much we plan on returning. The staff are wonderful, there are 3 resorts to enjoy, lots of walking which we loved, there are more restaurant choices then you can imagine and the service is fabulous. We never worried about finding a chair by the pool or beach, we never worried about finding beach towels. We have never experienced a resort so perfect for us that we couldn't wait to come back.

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Paradise in Mexico

Check in excellent. They were able to put us and my sister in law and brother in law in the same building and floor. They had us initially in separate buildings. Buffet lunch was awesome as were the margaritas. Back to lobby and wished off to our rooms. Junior suites in building 4. Rooms are large and so so nice . Toured the property , so lush and beautiful. Had supper at Mary Tara the first day, again excellent food . Hubby had ribeye cooked perfectly , I had pork rib and red pe [... read more]pper soup(so good). Then it was off to the plaza for Mexican night. Good drinks and live Mexican band. Morning coffee at cafe sisal a must. Supper at Ginger the teppenyaki tables, good show and food. Weather has been perfect so far on day three. Our first visit in 2023 the French restaurant was closed for reservations, this visit we dined there and it was amazing. Beet salad, French onion soup ( lived up to all the hype), beef filet excellent. Taman Sari was disappointing. Chicken Satay was good but the Tom Yang soup was not spicy or hot. It was luke warm. The pad Thai was ok but not hot just warm. My husband’s pad Thai had barely any rice noodles and his pork rib was all bone no meat. This was a far cry from our previous 2023 visit. The Mexican restaurant was excellent, highly recommend. Italian restaurant was good enjoyed our meal. We did do the French restaurant twice it was that good. The Magic show was worth the watch. Very entertaining as was the Rock Circus show. Fire show on Sunday was entertaining. Service throughout the resort was outstanding, as was the maid service and nightly turn down service. Drinks hit and miss and cocktails not a lot of alcohol seemed to be in them. Margaritas were good , very tart but again not a lot of tequila went into them. Prosecco was very good and we both liked the Sauvignon blanc house wine. Bloody Cesar’s were excellent. Resort could benefit its patrons by providing more shade. Portable umbrellas would help. Chair game is fierce at main pool. Only downside of this resort. Beach chairs under shade no problem. Chairs and shade by silver pool can grab one before 8 am. Chairs and shade by golden pool/river good no need to rush . Sunday morning security came around one half of main pool before 7am and removed all towels and belongings They did this three times. If you weren’t with your stuff before 7am they took it . First time I have seen this happen. All in all we have a wonderful vacation once again at the Valentin. You won’t be disappointed if you book here

Grand Park Royal Cozumel: Good resort for the money

The resort was very clean but in need of upgrading in some areas. The staff are what make this resort - there was not one staff we encountered who did not acknowledge us with a smile and hello. The food is average or less. The ala cartes are the saving grace, especially the Italian. Food at the buffet was repetitious and frequently lukewarm or cold. You have to ask for salt and pepper, and things like butter are not always readily available. Its nice not having to make reservations at the  [... read more]ala cartes or have a specified number of times you can eat at each one. If you are looking for a beach, this is not the resort for you. There is a small area for "beach" and the water is really only an inlet. The pools are beautiful and clean and 2 of them overlook the ocean and the cruise ships.

Barcelo Maya Riviera: Relaxing

My husband and I had a wonderful Relaxing vacation. The whole resort was beautiful and very clean, staff is top notch and the food was Excellent. The only thing I was disappointed in was trying to walk into ocean it was very rocky. The beach was beautiful but very difficult to just walk in and enjoy the ocean my elderly parents would not be able to go in the ocean for this reason.

Ocean Allure Costa Mujeres: Amazing Resort

What a beautiful resort. Well laid out, everything was easy to find. Loved the lazy river. Staff were very attentive and eager to help you. The food was great, loved that you didnt need reservations at all the restaurants. Just the steakhouse and the Japanese. So much to do if you wanted to ( cornhole, bowling, karaoke, nightly shows)

GR Solaris Lighthouse: GR Solaris

Nice place, the food was good and the weather was excellent. The resort could use more and upgraded lounge chairs.If you wanted to sit around one of the pools you had to place a towel on each lounge by 5 am. I'm not a fan of this system but if you wanted a seat you had to participate. The staff was pleasant and did their best to accommodate your requests. /

Dreams Vallarta Bay Resort and Spa: Amazing Vacation

Hotel was great, upgraded to have access to secrets side for the pools and extra restaurant access. Service at the pools were great, be prepared to wake up early to get prime chairs! Otherwise great for the most part. Rooms are a little boring we had a penthouse and i expected more out of it, also had to requests rooms to be stocked they didnt do that daily which was frustrating.

Secrets Vallarta Bay: Stress Free Week

We had a wonderful vacation at Secrets. The food was probably the best I have ever experienced in an all inclusive resort. The service was definitely second to none. I would highly recommend paying this resort a visit. :)

Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya: Hyatt Zilarah

Loved the very quaint setting , staff was friendly clean rooms, dining alla cart options were good, service on the beach was great , entertainment was wonderful, daily activities were ok but not too upbeat, extra classes and activities were fun to participate in. Had overall a great experience. We woukd definitely recommend and return again. The only thing is the lighting in rooms was very dim, beds are very sqeeky

Dreams Puerto Morelos Resort and Spa: Family Fun.

We really enjoyed our stay in the beautiful, spacious rooms with a great view. All the employees were kind and courteous. We enjoyed the restaurants and family activities. We found the resort perfect for being family oriented. The only downside is that there are never enough lounge chairs for the demand.

Barcelo Maya Beach Resort: Great family resort

Great property with amazing clean, great Wifi, access to multiple pools, services are amazing. Property has its own mall, handicrafts stalls, go carting, discotheque and other amenities, no need to step out. Above all, great pricing and only one drive from Cancun airport. Vegetarian food choices can be further improved
