Sandals Royal Plantation: Best trip ever!

Sandals Royal Plantation is an amazing resort for couple who simply want to relax and be pampered. The staff is amazing. There isn't anything I can say negative about any of them! They were truly amazing at what they do. From the Management to the Cleaners. They were fantastic. In my view, Christina and Daniel are their most important ambassadors of this resort.

Sandals Inn: excellent staff make the resort outstanding.

Met so many wonderful people, the photographer Shane, bartenders Lamar, Floyd, Teejay, Christopher and staff Brenda, Konisha, Shanita, Dominique, Great Dane and Bird. Really looking forward to seeing everyone again.

Sandals Inn: The little hotel Sandals forgot

My wife and I have just returned from a one week stay in the Sandals Carlyle. Before our trip she read the reviews as she always does and told me she was concerned about all the negative reviews about the resort. I refused to believe that it could possibly be a bad as she anticipated. I normally put bad reviews down to fussy travelers. When we mentioned our concerns to friends their common statement was “It’s a Sandals – how bad can it be?” Believe the poor reviews – they really are ac [... read more]curate. If you haven’t booked – don’t. The Sandals Carlyle misses the mark by a long shot. It is a three star at best. If you have stayed in a luxury resort before be prepared to be very disappointed. We booked a “penthouse suite” – expecting a penthouse experience. The room was no bigger than any standard room. There are no alcoholic drinks in the room –– only a “stocked refrigerator” (soft drinks that is) as carefully worded on the website. The photographs, although accurate, have been taken with a wide angled lens – and in reality although you do indeed get a view of the ocean unfortunately it also comes with a view of the building on the other side of the busy road, telegraph poles and a very small public beach. The website boasts “many bar locations” – with two bars – there is only one bar. The bathroom will only accommodate one person at a time - unless you like a tight squeeze!!! The food is mediocre and I am being generous here. There is no buffet option for lunch and breakfast offers a small buffet option, but for warm food you order off the menu. Dinner buffet was only available on theme nights otherwise you order off the menu. And don’t expect a large array of fruits, vegetables or seafood options – the food reminded me of something you might find at a pleasant truck stop. You order off a very limited menu and during our seven day stay, several of the basic items listed were unavailable (waffles, pancakes, English muffin). We ate one night at the Carlyle - and ordered scallops – oops our mistake the menu did say scallop (one that is!!), surrounded with peas. We are aware of another couple at the resort who were so upset that they spoke to management and got transferred on their third day to the Sandals Montego Bay. We have stayed in numerous all-inclusive resort chains in the Caribbean such as Riu, Iberostar, Bahia Principe but never at a Sandals. This was our first – and last Sandals experience. Thinking it was only the Carlyle that fell short of the “luxury experience” upon which Sandals has built its brand we decided to take advantage of the “exchange privileges” and visited the other two resorts in hopes of finding the elusive “luxury” we had read about on the website. Although the other two were more upmarket than the Carlyle, neither would have been worth the extra $2,000+ for the experience – so the upside is we only wasted $5,000 not $7,000!!! So next time my friends ask “It’s a Sandals – how bad can it be?” Our answer “…worse than you could ever imagine!!” It was certainly a unique experience and one we are sharing with our friends. We now advise everyone to give the “Sandals difference” a wide birth and visit instead the other beautiful Caribbean resorts such as the Iberostar Grand Rose Hall, Jamaica or the breathtaking Luxury Bahia Principe Levantado, Dominican Republic. Check them out Sandals, you could learn a lot from the competition

Sandals Emerald Bay: very disappointed

the grounds and facilities are great; golf course is maintained well but one does need a lot of balls to make it around; the big disappointment is the level of communication and service provided by staff-very inconsistent and below the level of the previous Sandals we have visited.

Sandals Ochi Beach Resort: Incredible Vacation

I can not say enough good things about our vacation. The food was AMAZING, the service was outstanding, and the grounds are absolutely stunning. The only downside is that the beach isn't that impressive. But overall, we will definitely be returning to Sandals Ochi Beach

Sandals Royal Bahamian: Fantastic resort

Friendly and welcoming staff. Great food. Loved the private island and snorkeling with sea turtles. Small resort with all the restaurants and theatre conveniently located. Especially liked dining at Gordons on the Pier and being entertained by the resident barracuda below us in the water.

Sandals Caribbean Cay: Best Vacation Ever

Sandals Royal Caribbean is an amazing resort. This was our fourth visit. This time we booked through Tripcentral and got the best resort/air price combination yet. We will definitely book everything through them from now on. Better pricing than direct online booking by far. The resort was great, high quality food, and excellent service. We stayed in the penthouse suite with butler service and now have a new definition of luxury.

Sandals South Coast: Awesome trip to Jamaica - Sandals Whitehouse

This is our second trip to Jamaica and the first to Sandals Whitehouse.. The resort is in the south west coast of Jamaica and out of the way from built up areas unlike Negril. If you are seeking a relaxing vacation on a resort that is quite spread out and is relatively quiet with excellent staff, food choices and a nice beach.. this is the resort for you. Sandals Ochi Beach Resort: Really?

This resort was run-down and filthy, the food gave us food poisoning and the staff was disrespectful and unenthusiastic. They are understaffed and overworked. We are still in disbelief as to how terrible our trip was. Thankfully it was sunny and we made our own fun. Full review to be posted on trip advisor shortly.

Sandals Montego Bay: Not up to other Sandals standards

This was not our 1st experience with Sandals resorts. The resort was well maintained but disappointed with the amount of floral plants. The room was nice in that we could walk out to the beach from our patio. We had to call the very first night for several reasons the safe being the 1st and not being able the get the closet door open because of the area carpet on the floor laid to close to closet. We experienced a few problems with room, the safe didn't work after being asked several times. They [... read more] finally fixed second last day of our stay. We had an unwanted guest in our bedside table the 1st night. We asked several times for the robes that our room was to have but never received. So considering the value paid the the conceige customer service they left us disapppointed. The pools we're way the small and not very inviting. Also too close to the airport with planes flying over head all day long. Yes 10 - 15 minutes to airport but that's the time it take to drive around it. The food was nothing to write home about considering it was Christmas a festive time to celebrate. The Reggae Cruise was fabulous the crew we're so great they got everyone one up dancing and having a blast even in the 8 foot or higher waves. The highlights were Dunn river falls climb, the bobsledding, the snorkel , margaritaville and the Reggae Catamaran cruise. We did have a excursion to the Appleton estates was cancelled and we replaced it with dolphin swim and a mix up of listing made it that we didn't go there either...BUMMER....It was to be a great 35 Anniversary trip for us but it was a disappointing. Not good Mon.....Yes problem Mon.

Amazing food Beach People Weather Pool Everything about this place is top notch You will not be disappointed. The people were extremely friendly. They will do anything you ask. They make you feel like you have been best friends your whole lives. I will be coming back here for sure. Big thanks to the entertainment manager ashley. . She was amazing..

Sandals Caribbean Cay: Amazing place with wonderful people

Beautiful maintained, great staff, good food, lovely pools, beautiful beach. The staff really make you feel like family. Would recommend staying at the club level and ask for a ground floor room in the Kensington building.

Sandals Regency La Toc Golf Resort and Spa: Sandals La Toc St. Lucia

The hotel itself is a little old and showing its age, broken slats in the wooden lounge chairs and in cupboard doors in the Pavillion Restaurant, however there were ongoing renovations and the upkeep is excellent. Very clean pools and beautiful grounds. The food overall was very good. The La Toc French restaurant was fantastic, try the French Onion soup and don't miss the steak. The Cricketers pub was also excellent. The manager there was very present and involved. The Piton restaurant was our l [... read more]east favourite the steak there wasn't great but the chicken wrap was very good. Pools, there are two quiet pools the Piton pool is just a little ways from the main area and was always quiet, the other pool by Armandos was also very quiet. Armandos restaurant was excellent as well. Don't miss it. Scuba Diving: if you are looking for a place to get certified this is it. The staff did things right here, very professional and went through all the steps. Initial dives were only 40 feet deep and were 2 divers to 1 dive master. The group dives were about 6 divers to 1 dive master. Only 60 and 40 foot dives but lots to see. Nothing big, no sharks, but lots of variety and tins of fish from tiny to about a foot long. Sea horses and octopi. Also lots of lobsters. Some really pretty coral on "superman's flight" and we did see a turtle in the turtle garden. As long as you aren't expecting perfection this place is worth a visit. Go into town. The people are friendly and not very pushy in the market. Wander down the street to the church it is beautiful.

Sandals Halcyon Beach: Perfect honeymoon resort

The resort is perfect for honeymooners and couples who want to relax and spend time together. The grounds are gorgeous and the service is fantastic. Lots of options for excursions and free water sports. The beach has a lot of room, you don't have to get up at the crack of dawn for a seat. Everything was perfect and we would love to go again!

Sandals Emerald Bay: Excellent Resort

This is a beautiful and very well kept resort. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is very good with plenty of options of where to eat. The beaches are amazing, some of the best in the world. If you have a bucket list this spot should be on it!

Sandals South Coast: Sandals Whitehouse was amazing

It was rainy season, but there was only a few days of the wet stuff. Every night was great and the entertainment was a show of local talent from steel bands to singers and an entertaining piano bar. The main pool and restaurants were great with a good variety and choices of food fair. Highly rcommended.

Sandals Grande Antigua: beautiful resort, great food, friendly people

The grounds were perfectly maintained. The food was delicious. The beach and ocean were perfect. Have to go early to find a beach chair at the beach or main pool. The staff is very friendly. There are all sorts of in motorized water sports that you can partake in. The only complaint is when you are on the beach it's a public beach and there are several local residents walking up and down that will constantly try to get you to buy something.

Sandals South Coast: Awesome

The staff everywhere was excellent. They tried their very best. However, I found the service in the al a carte restaurants very slow. The landscape of the property is commendable and deserves a 5+ rating.

Sandals Emerald Bay: Sandals Emerald Bay

This is our 3rd time to Emerald Bay, it is our favorite Sandals resort for sure. The staff, rooms, beach and pools are incredible. The food and service at the resturants was wonderful as always. The Red Lane Spa is the best one we have been too, we have both enjoyed the spa treatments and staf, especially Michelle who we have had the good fortune to have each trip, she is wonderful.

Sandals Emerald Bay: Amazing Resort

This place was amazing,staff was amazing.great golf course here!Great variety of food available.The rooms were spacious, very clean and updated.I would recommend a tour with Exuma Watersports it was amazing.Our agent Kim did a wonderful job!!!!!!!!
