Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: A truly amazing resort!

What an absolute beautiful resort. Everywhere we went on the resort everyone was working hard and smiling from the gardeners to the servers to the bartenders. The concierge called at least 3 times to make sure everything was good. The food was absolutely amazing, so many choices and always hot and fresh. From the clean bathrooms to the refilling of the mini fridge to the butler lighting up our scent warmer every night in the room. I have absolutely no complaints except it poured rain for 5 out of the 7 days we were there......... loved the shuttle service! I would definitely go again!!

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Lovely Resort

Great Resort! my only 2 complaint's are, 1- the nightmare check-in service which was quickly resolved and 2- the mountains of seaweed on the rocky beach. Staff is nice, grounds well groomed, rooms clean, food plentiful and varied. Shows are typical all inclusive talent. All in all I would go to this resort again. The Luxury Hotel exceeds Coba and Tulum resorts on the same grounds. Its worth paying extra for the Luxury than the other 2.

Cayo Levantado Resort: great resort

Great rooms with a lot of space with a huge balcony. Great food with a lot of options. Great people, who working there. Love all of them. A bit rough water, especially on the left side of the beach. Could not even imagine to see small kids there as now the resort is not adults only. Amazing huge area with a lot of place to walk around. I would suggest to add may be a piano bar or something else like that to have more options for clients to do during evening time.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: amazing trip!

hotel was amazing, services were fantastic, so much to do for the kids, water park was so much fun! food was great, nobody got sick. always so much choice. restaurants were great, but my fave was the Japanese. definitely go there if you can! my only complaint, and its not even a big one, was that there was tons of seaweed! something going on in the ocean right now so unfortunate you have to deal with that in the water. besides that, the beach was beautiful anyway! will be going back for  [... read more]years to come for sure!

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Decent resort

In general we had a very decent vacation at Luxury Bahia Principe Ambar Green. We have only positive impressions from the staff and all aspects of the stay but one thing of "force majeure" nature really undermined our positive overall assessment. Probably for many others the ocean and the beach are not the priority of vacation (every day we saw many vacationers lying next to the pool) but for us that is always the one of the top items on the list. And during our stay with that resort the mother  [... read more]nature spoiled significantly the attempts of the resort's staff to provide us with the best service: the ocean and shoreline were full of seaweed and the measures taken by resort's staff for cleaning were really insufficient. Certainly they need to focus more on the cleanness of the beach and to provide more resources for prompt shoreline cleaning and to do that in the night but not in the daylight in front of the guests. During our stay we had to lay in the long chairs looking at the beach with the wheel loader running from one end to another.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Good and bad

My experience with Carol Weber at trip central was excellent. She was top notch and would definitely use her again for future travel arrangements. The resort : beautiful grounds , food was good , pools were nice and water park for kids was fantastic. It’s too big ! If you love the beach this resort is not for you. You have to travel by golf cart to the beach because of the distance and then once you get there the beach is just not nice. I’ve never seen so much seeweed. You couldn’t even see the water. We had to walk quite a distance just to get to an area where we could swim and it was extremely busy because 4 resorts use this one small area. We paid extra for the golden and it’s not worth it. We never even got a menu for room service , they don’t answer phones and when then they do no one ever comes ... overall I recommend this resort if you like to stay by a pool and could guarantee a room by the pool and buffet area otherwise you will be on an enormous resort with not much to do ... also they add fertilizer to the sprinklers so most days it smelled like a farm and in that heat it was extremely unpleasant. I love going away for the beach , food , things to do and to soack up the sun and will not be returning here and I recommend other resorts in the area far more.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Beautiful resort

great vacation and would likely return. The water park is definitely a plus and wow factor. Food at the buffet is ok. Could be better. Lots of recycled food: left overs from the day before being put back on the next day. They can be a bit slow refilling empty stations during busy times. I either had to wait for food or just forget about it. Beach is nice and shallow. Pools are kept clean. Our housekeeper Dawnett was excellent and always so pleasant. Negatives: public bathrooms were never clean Constant HARASSMENT from “privilege club” sales people. Avoid them at all costs. They are everywhere and ask over and over again. They don’t tell you that it’s a time share pitch that they want you to take over 90 minutes of your vacation time to waste. They try to sell it as a breakfast to celebrate the hotels 11th anniversary. So misleading and annoying! We were so sick of it that this may be an issue if we are thinking of going back.

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Amazing resort

Pleine d'Activités (Zumba, dance, jeu...), Excellentes Spectacles (Show time), Buffet très bon, j'ai présenté à mes amis et attiré 4 couples viennent au resort avec moi au dernier visite, moi même c'est la 2e fois et j'ai envie le visiter encore

This was our second time visiting the Grand Bahia in Jamaica. The beach, pool, food and room were great, but the staff were much less friendly than in our first visit in 2016. There were a few exceptions to this, but for the most part we got the vibe that most of them didn't want to be there. It took us 2 hours of back and forth at the front desk to get the room we paid for, which was pretty tiresome, after a long day of traveling. Then we tried ordering room service one morning but were told that our room can't have room service. Those things being said, we still had a great vacation. We never had difficulty finding chairs by the beach and pool, and there were a lot of great activities to do on the resort. 10 days was the perfect amount of time and we would go back in a heartbeat!

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Amazing Family Resort

It was our family's first all inclusive vacation so we didn't really know what to expect. As soon as we got there, we felt very welcomed by the staff with their friendly demeanor. The staff were very helpful. They brought us everything we needed even set up an extra bed in our room! The hotel itself was very nice. There were a lot of activities for all ages. My kids really enjoyed the shows at night. The activity and entertainment staff were very fun and entertaining. We did water exercise, play [... read more]ed volleyball and basketball. Food was also delicious. We loved the Mediterranean Restaurant. We will definitely use this hotel again when we go back to Mexico! Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Perfect for Couples!!

The Bahia Principe is a perfect getaway for couples looking to relax on vacation, but is also packed with fun activities throughout the day and night! My boyfriend and I booked a junior superior penthouse suite at Sian Ka’an and it truly felt like living in luxury for a week. The first night there, we called to have our jacuzzi filled and our butler also brought us a bottle of sparking wine! We watched Michael Jackson at Tulum (which was amazing), but our favorite night by far was the Fiesta Mexicana at the Hacienda! The entertainment team at Sian Ka’an is absolutely amazing and really made an effort to get to know us. They had activities at the beach from late morning to noon, then continued back at our pool, and returned in the evenings as well. They were so engaging and funny! Finally, the food here was just absolutely incredible, whether it was at the snack bar, buffet, or a la cartes. They had such a wide variety and there was so much flavor! Overall, this truly felt like a 5 star resort and I would not hesitate to go back again!!

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Great Vacation

The Grand Bahia Principe Bavaro was excellent. The food and service were both great. Would return to this same resort any day. This was our 3rd stay thee. We were in the adult section Ambar green twice before and this time in the bavaro section and would try and go back to the adult section next time. Everything was clean, food great overall stay was very good.

Everything is very well kept.The food is amazing. We were always able to get a beach chair. Staff are all super friendly! This was our third time to the resort! Highly recommend! Everyone that we have recommended it to also loved the resort

Amazing staff in all areas of the resort! Food was very good in a la carte restorants ! Fresh fruit and crispy bacon and amazing eggs for breakfast every day! Extremely clean resort! Front desk service was first class all the way! Waiters in all the restorants were very friendly ! Pool areas were very clean as were all the lounge chairs! Everything was great! people were really friendly, rooms were really nice, and the food was great! Everything was nicely kept clean. Veiw was amazing and would definitely go again! It was well worth it. Loved it!

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Fantastic resort

This resort is beautiful! The grounds are stunning and impeccable with beautiful pink flowers throughout. The staff are always courteous and polite and even though they are constantly dealing with the public, they never show any sign of frustration. Our room was huge, as I believe all rooms are. The bathroom is one I wish I had at home! Double sinks, large jacuzzi, walk in shower. All very modern. Bed was comfortable. The food was beyond my expectations! The beach is very nice but the entire Caribbean is dealing with the seaweed problem. Some days worse than others but one can still swim in the ocean. But my 6 year old grandson was bothered by it. So we spent most of our time in the pool. This is the smaller resort of the Bahia Principe complex. Great for kids! Loved it!

Food Great Beach is a 10 min shuttle from resort Beach wasn’t that good. Unless you like an enclosed off beach by rocks where there’s only like 300 feet of beach for everyone to swim at If you are looking for a resort with a nice beach this isn’t the resort for you 2/5 If your looking for a very nice resort and very luxurious resort where you would rather be at a pool then this is the resort for you.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Beautiful large property

Bahia Principe is 4 resorts covering hundreds and hundreds of acres.We stayed at Sian Ka'an which is the adult only resort. It is located 1 or 2 KM from the other three. Not really a problem since the shuttle service to all the other resorts is very good. Our average wait time for a shuttle was maybe 2 minutes. We had complete access to everything at all 4 resorts so there is plenty to do and a tremendous selection of restaurants. Apparently seaweed is a seasonal issue

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Fantastic Resort!

The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are very large and clean. The grounds are very well kept and the service is outstanding. Pools are large and heated. Beach is big enough to get a chair at any time. Didn't go and try restaurants as there was enough variety of foods in the buffet and it was all delicious. There is enough daily entertainment for everyone. We really enjoyed the fact that the resort is adult only. The resort is in close proximity (ca. 25 minutes) to Ocho Rios for shopping and excurs [... read more]ions. We would go back in a heartbeat.

Ambar green is going under renovations and soon too be called the grand bahia catering to famalies not adults only, and the ambar blue is currently under extreme renovations for the purpose in catering to adults, honeymooners. The hotel is going too be called the ambar aquamarina.
