The Eurostars Grand Cayacoa: Great resort

This is a very good quality resort. The resort was clean, food was delicious and the buffet we had access to each day three times per day had a great selection of food so that i was able to select what i wanted. There is one big pull and four small ones. The area around small ones was quieter. There was only one resort (this one) that had access to the beaches and because of this it was much quieter than at larger resorts. Transport from and to airport was easy and well coordinated. I recommend this resort.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Very nice resort

We had a great time at Bahia Principe, the beach was amazing and so many beautiful pools. We also booked 3 tours to see the Piramids and Xcarett. We will defianately go back. Thank you for the amazing experience.

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Great resort!

The rooms were very clean, albeit the bathrooms could use a fan, but we weren't spending much time in the room anyways. The food was very good. Even if you're picky, there's something for everyone. The Italian restaurant was delish! I recommend the lasagna. Entertainment was good. Don't miss the Michael Jackson show! The pools are clean and the staff are pleasant. The shuttle bus drivers are very accommodating...shout out to Alejandro!!

Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Beautiful, tropical resort.

Overall a great vacation. The resort was well maintained and spacious. Very good beach area but also very busy. Food was excellent. Rooms adequate but bathrooms have no ventilation or fans. Found the pool hours a little restrictive as they closed at 7pm. Much of the entertainment and music caters to the Latino element so if you can't salsa you are not dancing.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: RESORT

The people were confused a lot at the front desk and also getting the transportation to our rooms took along time. The food was good and the restaurant and bar staff were brilliant. The Westjet agents at the hotel are very rude, don't want to deal with them again. The resort was kept in great condition and our rooms were nice.

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Great Girls Getawy

Just back from a 4 night getaway with 8 girls. The resort is so big and has lots to do, there is something for everyone. Check in went smoothly and we were all located conveniently in an alcove in building 33 which was the half way point between the beach and the lobby, along with a pool just steps away. It was the perfect spot for us. We had an issue with one room having a king size bed rather than 2 single beds but they quickly fixed that and brought in an extra bed. We also had a num [... read more]ber of issues with two of the safes in our group but the maintenance staff were prompt in getting it repaired. Had it not been that we had 4 rooms so close it would have been a bigger issue due to worrying about keeping our personal possessions safe. The only other issue was that the AC was not strong, so the rooms were a little stuffy and warm. We managed to go to 3 ala cartes and enjoyed the meals and as they knew it was one girls birthday celebration they came out and sang and danced at each meal, making the outting more special. The pools were great, so refreshing and spread throughout the resort. The carts taking you around the resort were regular and no issue if one was full to wait a couple minutes and another one would come along. All the staff were very friendly and always willing to assist. The beach was beautiful and you could walk forever in either direction. With the seaweed rolling in, staff were busy raking to keep it as clean as they could...not that the resort has anything to do with seaweed, that's Mother Natures issue. The getaway was too quick but we all had a great time.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Incredible Resort & Amazing Vacation

The resort is beautiful and very well kept. Staff are great and attentive. Raymond is the "man" at the pool bar. His enthusiasm and cheerfulness is infectious. You simply cannot walk away from him without a huge smile on your face.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Beautiful resort

Hotel and grounds were outstanding beautifully kept, lots of variety in a la carts, buffet was ok, would have liked to have seen more variety in there options of spices would have been nice and more beef in buffet, it was very repetitive. Dress code of long pants isn't acceptible for men in that heat.. Or closed toe shoes, we're on vacation it's time to relax and enjoy the evening. Take away the dress pants and closed toe shoes,us woman can wear whatever we like, I just don't think it's fair to  [... read more]ask of that. Staff are amazing very friendly. Beach isn't the best little rocky and not many areas to get a drink when needed. Very large resort with alot of stairs, could look at being a little more accessible for canes and wheelchairs, not enough elevators and they are small and slow.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Beautiful Resort But ...

My husband and I stayed at the Grand Bahia Principe Coba for 10 days, beginning May 3, 2018. We have travelled to other resorts in the Caribbean before, but this was our first trip to Mexico. The entire (extremely large) resort is beautiful. The rooms are lovely and housekeeping was awesome. All the staff at the resort were very kind and helpful. The only complaint we would have is the beach. Mother Nature is giving this beautiful resort a really hard time. The seaweed had made the beach unusable during our time there. I am not exaggerating as I thought other previous reviewers had done. There are dump trucks and bobcats trying to keep up with clearing the seaweed away, but it is covering the majority of the entire beach, and the smell is really overwhelming. Staff from the resort told us it has been getting worse the last couple of years, and I feel really bad for the resort. Our vacation was amazing except for not being able to use the beach, and we really enjoy walking on the beach during our vacations and spending time there. Otherwise, if you don't mind a pool vacation, I would totally recommend this resort. I gave the resort a 4/5, and the pool/beach a 3/5 solely because of the beach.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Fantastic resort

The hotel was amazing, the atmosphere and the stuff were wonderful. The food was delicious. The beaches and the pools were clean. The hotel rooms were tidy and when the maid had to clean it, it was ready after an hour. The people there don’t beg for tips which is nice. I recommend this resort for my friends. The one think that I do not like there is the time- share meetings that guests are forced to participate by the staff. Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Tulum excitement

Hotel was great lots of restaurants and pool activities, food was great and service was ok. The only thing i really didn't like was the beach area which was full of seaweed I'm guessing it was the time of year but it should have been cleaned up as best as they can. I really loved the markets which was walking distance from our vila. Overall i would give it a 8 out of 10.

Excellent room, staff and food. Beautiful grounds. Had an enjoyable time. Met all my expectations. The service was amazing. Would like to see an a la carte is restaurant serving Indian food. Increase the choices for vegetarian.

Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Very nice place!

Beautiful resort. Super nice beach with many long chairs and parasols. Excellent food and service. Extremely good service. Only bad point: horrible gym. Was tiny, with VERY outdated equipment. Very disappointing.

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Amazing resort

I loved!! This resort every thing was amazing down to the staff, especially the floor manager Jesus in charge of the Ambra blue buffet, he made our experience even more excellent. Will 100% recommend this resort.

The food ,grounds,service was great,the only part was the seeweed on the beach,but that was caused by the hurricanes,overall super.The only thing was the travel service was awful.Giving us different prices when we were 12.They should honored or atleast compensate with something for all the trouble we went through.

Loads of great food. They had fresh juices and delicious jerk chicken and their bacon at breakfast was amazing. Pools were clean, Beaches were beautiful. Not sure that I loved that the luxury resort was so close. Almost didn’t know how far we were able to venture on the resort. Lots of stairs to get to lobby and resort grounds were very large.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Excellent resort

The grounds were very clean and well maintained. Very pleasing to the eye. The staff were friendly and courteous. One thing to be improved is the musty smell in the rooms due to humidity. The sulphur like smell every once in a while.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Absolutely beautiful resort

I would recommend this resort to anyone wanting the perfect vacation. The grounds are beautifully kept. The staff were wonderful and very polite. The rooms were very comfortable. The food was outstanding and the scenery was a dream. I will definitely go back to the Grande Principe Resort in Jamaica but I would stay long than one week next time.

Bahia Principe Explore Legend: Not impressed

Food got progressively worse as the week went on, everything seemed to be recycled and reheated. I did not find the staff overly friendly, constant shake down at the pool by bringing out birds and monkeys for pictures. Then the best part, my 4-year old catches hand foot and mouth disease in the middle of the week. High fever for two days then the breakout for the rest of the week. I would have thought the representative at the tripcentral location would have brought this up when we consulted with them but they didn't. Google is your friend so do your research, this place clearly has an issue with hfmd but neither tripcentral or the resort will admit it.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Pleasantly surprised

My main concern when booking was food quality given it was a 5 star resort. I have not been to Mexico in many years so I was hoping it would be more than a step up from Cuba or DR and it was so much better. Ala cartes every night. All were very good except the Mexican at Tulum oddly. Had to trolley to the beach and the other two resorts which was not a big deal. Overall good value.
